I decided to write an update and raise the rating to 4 stars. For grins, we ate at both Me+Crêpe and Master Bing on the same night to see how they differ. Food wise, they are very similar. If I want a bigger bang for my buck, order a lower cost protein. The crepe will be better filled. Both locations have kiosk ordering. The cost is a buck or two more at Me+Crêpe; I don't fault them since Bellevue Square is an expensive location. The fact they survived through the COVID closures is a small miracle. The clientele here is predominately Chinese with a smaller mix of mall visitors. Everything is packaged to go. We stayed in the store to wait for the food; the staff handed us the bag with napkins and utensils. Stepping away is fine, too. The kiosk takes phone numbers to contact. Their little store has two two-person tables and one four-person table. All three were occupied when we went (good for them). We dined outside at one of the mall tables. The Food: Beef and Cheese Crepe, $13.95 - 4 Stars This is one of the lower cost proteins, compared to duck or crayfish. It was plumb and well stuffed as a result. You can see the beef in the photo. The egg-covered batter/crepe, the crispy wonton skin, green onions, and sauce are standard treatment. The menu marked this version as recommended. I agree. The one thing that I raise my eyebrow on is they fold over the two halves of the crepe. Either we our bites through the double stack, or get messy trying to eat each half. read more

Wanted something light during a shopping break and decided to try their tofu bowls and my god, they were amazing! The tofu was incredibly soft, silky, and smooth, with such a delicate texture that made it so satisfying without feeling too heavy. Decent Chinese crepes at the mall. The Peking duck crepe was good. I thought the curry lamb crepe was too heavily spiced, so I'll probably try something else next time. Food is ordered at a couple kiosks and we didn't have to wait too long for it to be ready. The wraps were pretty messy, we did out best with the pouches they came in. Amazing creep in traditional Chinese style with egg and Beijing roasted duck wrapped inside. It was cooked with the right timing, and the duck is not overly fatty which could throw people off. I don't remember how, when or why I wound up at Me+Crepe, but there I was, sitting at a small table in the mall, with a bowl of "Tofu Now" (spicy, of course) and a vegetarian crepe that looked like nothing I'd ever seen or eaten before. No matter, the purpose was to eat, and eat I did. The "Tofu Now" bowl was great - large globs of soft tofu drenched in a very spicy chili sauce with bits of scallions and other assorted unknowables. This was the highlight of the meal. The crepe offered interesting flavors, wrapped in a rice crepe - a little crunch, a little softness, some umami and some freshness. Definitely worth a try if you want something interesting. But don't take my word for it, try Me+Crepe yourself! read more

Wait times were INSANE. I waited more than 45 minutes for a single vegetarian crepe. Plenty of customers and not enough staff to keep up. The crepe was loaded with so much veggies that it fell apart the moment we unwrapped it. The moisture from the veggies disintegrated the crepe and made it into mush! Their unique taste on Chinese cuisine is one of the reasons why I always go here every time I visit Bellevue Square. Their Pecking Duck, Grilled Squid, and Spicy Crawfish with crisp inserted inside adds in the extra ingredient that makes it taste even better. The service is decent at best, but the ambience clearly aligns with what is being served to me. Oh, and if you check in on Yelp, you get a free soy milk; if you write a Google Review, you get a free tea egg. The latter is the perfect option to get the spiciness off the tongue if its too much on the crepe. Will be back for more! I haven't tried it with the Chinese Donut (though I will soon). read more

The food was ok and there is no service at all. You order on your own, and the guy at the counter delivers. I sometimes wonder what the service fee is when asked when there is no service involved. Pro tip: Check in to Yelp for a free egg. Review on Google for a free soy milk. Given how expensive this place is, I would grab as much freebies as you can. But the food is very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my Peking duck wrap. I would say, the crepe is actually the better value compared to the bento box. It's more flavorful and a bit more substantial. I was in Bellevue Square recently and decided to get lunch from this place instead of the usual places I go to. I wasn't very hungry and thought this would be quick and the right size. I used the self serve kiosk to order, and got BBQ Pork and medium spicy. I was told 20 mins for the food to be ready. It was more like 40 mins to get the food. After that wait the crepe I got was disappointing. There was more sauce than meat in it, I could hardly taste the pork and every bite had more sauce dripping out. read more

Most people come to Bellevue Square to shop, but I come here for these Chinese crepes. I've tried many of their crepes over my many visits here, and every single one is uber delicious. Not too dry, not too soggy, perfectly seasoned every time. Love the spicy sauce. There's plenty of meat in each bite. My favorite is the Beijing duck crepe; drooling as I'm thinking about it! The are a few reasons why I gave it 4 stars. First of all, the sides have been disappointing. The tofu now's flavour is not right and the portion is very small. The grilled cold noodles are pretty ordinary and again, the portion was underwhelming. Prices for all items have gone up a ton recently (like most restaurants though). They often run out of items too - the soy milk is only available less than half of the time. Give this place a try, you won't regret it! read more

I ordered the chicken crepes. I was surprised came with 2 crepes but they were really cheap with their protein! There was very little chicken in each of the crepes. When I say little, I mean 2 thin pieces of chicken. Then a small lettuce in there. I ended up throwing away the crepes after having the very little protein in the crepes. Very disappointed by their food! No service. You ordered yourself and pick up the crepes in a paper bag. If you are looking to just eat crepes with little protein and pay $12-$20, then come. I saw this when they were had closed and have been thinking about coming here for quite some time! Since my friend was visiting and living near the mall, I figured this was the perfect time! I got the pork rib jianbing with youtiao center. I'd definitely not recommend getting that youtiao upgrade-- mine and my friend's were both incredibly stale/hard to chew through rather than crispy. I WOULD get more sauce next time, though. The food was otherwise basically exactly what I wanted! We also got tofu soup and an egg and sweet soy milk. I loved the soy milk. The egg was soooo good and smelled great too. The tofu soup was warm and lovely. tl;dr - really delicious crepes (jian bing), quick service, in Bellevue Square I've been here so many times that I've lost count. My wife and I really like getting food from here because the consistency and taste of the crepes are really good. Each crepe is wrapped around you choice of fillings and folded in half in a nice little paper packet. It makes eating this on the go really convenient! I always get the Double Down crepe which is bbq pork and bbq duck. My wife always gets the Fricassee which is a braised pork rib. We choose the Chinese crisp vs the Chinese donut because we love the crunch it adds. We also get it extra spicy because...well we love spicy food. One thing I want to point out is that the spiciness is in the sauce. Getting extra spicy will also make it more salty. I wish they had an option of adding something like chili crisps to add spiciness instead. You can also select if you want additional fillings but the default portion is so large I can't imagine adding anything else. If you want a little something extra you can also get a combo. We like the tea egg and soy milk. We once tried the bento boxes because it was really late and they stopped making crepes. We thought it was just average so we recommend sticking with the crepes. This place is inside Bellevue Square closer to the Nordstrom side on the second floor. This is a little dangerous because that means generally if we go get food, it means shopping for a bit while we wait. You order via tablet kiosks and the system is really easy to use. Service is also really fast because and usually it's ready in 10-20 minutes even when they're busy. They'll also text you when your order is ready though I've found that several times the food was done way before the text. We rarely get food from places inside of malls, but the fact that we actually go to Bellevue Square just to pick up from here definitely says something! read more

I have pretty mixed feelings about this place, but for the most part, it's pretty good for mall food. the duck crepe is my absolute favorite and go-to. i opted for the angus beef bento today and it wasn't bad, but definitely not what i was expecting. i was super excited to try the chinese sausage in this but mine came with barbecue pork instead. i placed my order online (highly recommend to avoid the 30min wait) came 5 minutes after it said it was ready, and it was already cold :( i definitely will be coming back here for their crepes, but not the bento. read more

Chinese crepes? Count me in! I visited Me+Crêpe (located on the second floor of Bellevue Square) on a Friday during the lunch rush. To my surprise, there wasn't much of a line. There are two tablets you can place your order on, or you can purchase a crepe with a person if you're paying cash. There are a lot of different options for crepe types, such as BBQ pork, braised pork rib, and beef sausage. I ordered the Peking duck crepe ($13.95), and found it to be delicious. It took about 10 minutes to prepare, but it tasted wonderful. Make sure you eat it with the bottom folded in so your crepe doesn't fall apart, or grab a fork. It can be a little messy, but it comes in a wrapping that's easy to fold back and contain. While ordering, you can specify the level of spice you'd like. The crepe gradually got spicy with the spicy sauce falling down to the bottom. There is minimal seating in the shop, but there are plenty of chairs and tables in the mall for you to take your crepe to enjoy. read more

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I've been here about three times and I've always gotten the original bing crepe, which hasn't failed me in satisfying my snack tooth. Started off on the wrong foot and didn't get better. 1st time here and was waiting to order while and no one was in line, the girl behind the counter saw me ignored me and kept just packing up delivery orders. When I asked if I could order she just said, she could take it but I should order from the self kiosk. Not a great start of customer service but I went ordered and at the kiosk and watched as the guy up front made the crepe, which was full of duck and bbq pork. Admittedly this was pretty cool to see him make it. As for the taste of the crepe, I did enjoy the textures with the crispy wonton with egg, dough and sauce but the meat left something to be desired. It was rubbery and definitely pre-cooked and just reheated. I don't mind paying higher prices for better quality, and even with it being in Bellevue this was definitely not worth the money. It was a mere snack, at a meal price, and wasn't tasty as it can be. Service needs to be improved but the guy cooking it made it look cool so.... 2 stars, maybe? read more

We were at the Bellevue arts festival and so decided to try this place out. We had a European crepe from the festival so it was nice to do a comparison. You put your order in at a machine and then wait until your food comes out. We got the double down which came with duck and char siu. We also added lettuce into it. Overall, it was ok, I like how it's in a bag so you can eat it while walking. The meat was good, but the sauce was a little too salty. Price is definitely on the higher end. there's not a lot of seats so it's definitely a grab and go kind of place. This pricey Chinese street food is a perfect addition for catering to the Chinese crowd in the Bellevue square Mall. If you just order the plain crepe, it is 7$ with: -egg -sauce (spice level adjustable) -chinese crisp That is the best value for your money. It tastes great and authentic. I've walked by the newish Me + Crepe in Bel Sq a couple of times since they opened, so decided to stop in today to try it out. I ordered the vegetarian crepe, and it was pretty good, though since this was my first Jian Bing (Chinese crepe) I don't have anything to compare it to. So here's by summary which helped me decide how many stars. Friendliness 4 stars. The cashier was very nice, still learning the system a bit but since it was before the lunch rush and they weren't busy, this was fine. Speed 5 stars: Although others have said they waited way too long for their food, mine was ready very quickly. Cleanliness 2 stars: Because this was before the lunch rush, I would have expected the space to be really clean, but the floor and counters just weren't. And even the curtain dividing the front from the back kitchen looked a bit dingy. Since they've only been open about a month, this was surprising. Food safety, questionable. I think the space is too small to properly store the fillings within hands reach, so things on top of the counter aren't able to be chilled as they're used. And also because of the limited space crepe fillings aren't as close in proximity as they could be to help with efficiency. Plus there's only room for one cashier which is why I think here have been several reviews which mention the time to order and prepare their crepe took way too long. After wandering around the Mall for a gift, I ended up here. I had seen this place appear on some of my friends instastories and wanted to give it a try. I have not really had a Chinese crepe in this form before so it was something semi out of the norm for me. The shop is small but they have a few tables to sit at and eat if you would like to stop and sit down for awhile. You can walk right up to the person at the register and order, or go and self order at a few of their touch screens. The UI on the touch screens is pretty simple to follow. The menu is not huge but it is a decent size for a food shop in the mall. They are different combos to choose from or you can basically build your own or alter an existing crepe. If you are expecting a small crepe to come out, you thought wrong. This is a pretty decent size crepe, even somewhat large depending on which one you choose. This was definitely a full meal for me. The crepe comes out warm and the ingredients fresh. You may think the price is way up there when you first are ordering but once you receive what you ordered, you kind of get an understanding of why. It still is a little pricey, but at least you did not get a small little crepe. read more

I wish there was just a little bit more meat in the food. I got the bowl and about 80% of this was all plain rice. The flavor of the meat doesn't really seep into the rice either so ration out the few piece of meat you have or else it'll be a very plain meal after the first 30 seconds. My aunt and I decided to check out Me+Crepe, as it was something different. But I can't say it would be my first choice whenever I'm hungry in Bell Square. I found the crepe to simply be, A-OK. My aunt and I shared the original crepe, which is basically a crepe with soybean paste, cracker and we ordered an extra egg, as it's free when you check in on Yelp. We also customized ours with medium spice. Though you have the option to order on the screen once you walk inside, you must order with an employee to get the Yelp offer. It didn't long for us to get our crepe, and it was especially nice that when you order you have the option of splitting it, so it came in two different bags. For the bag that the crepe comes in, you can fold the pouch, making it easy to eat the crepe if you're on the go; however, it can get messy. We ended up eating some of it with a fork. The crepe was satisfactory. It wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be, as I expected to taste the soybean paste and the medium spice. Yet the soybean paste was minimal and the medium spice was certainly not spicy at all. I would rack up the heat on this baby! It was nice to have the extra egg, thanks to Yelp, for some added protein. Otherwise, the original crepe tasted like an egg crepe around a cracker. It was bland. Me+Crepe is located on the second level of Bell Square. There isn't a lot of seating inside, with only two tables. And the space is small, as it seemed to mostly be a place for takeout. Again, it wouldn't be my first choice for a quick bite to eat around Bell Square. But glad to have tried a unique street food item that isn't offered at many other places around. read more
