Stopped by on a weekday evening and was seated quickly since it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant is located in Crossroads Plaza, so parking was easy. We ordered two kid phos and a special combo. Service was prompt and friendly, and the pho itself was solid. The broth was flavorful enough, and the proteins tasted fresh. That said, the portions felt a bit small, and prices were slightly higher than some comparable spots around the Seattle area. The interior is nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. I'd consider coming back to try their vermicelli dishes, but probably not for the pho, as there are similar (and more affordable) options nearby.

tasty place to replace the past bunsik! their menu is pretty small, but gets the job done. I ordered their pho and I think compared to other places in the area, the broth felt a bit thin, and there weren't as many noodles. for $16 i might go somewhere else for it. But the banh mi was pleasantly surprising! I do think the one that we got was on the drier side as the pate seemed to overtake the fillings, but aside from that the ingredients were very fresh, and I appreciated that it was very full. we also got a ($9!) coconut to drink from because you just don't see that every day, lol. i took it home and cracked it open to eat the meat afterward :D i will be back for a quick healthy bite of banh mi in the future!

As I walked into the restaurant, I liked the greenery decorations. My partner and I ordered two pho and a banh mi to share. The menu isn't as extensive as other Vietnamese restaurants; the menu includes pho, one type of banh mi, and a few appetizers. The broth was delicious and flavorful, though it lacked a bit of richness for my taste. They give you plenty of meat in the pho. I ordered the combination, which included round eye steak, brisket, meatball, and tripe. The bowl was packed with meat, along with onions, cilantro, and green onions. Make sure to ask for the herbs and onions on the side if you don't like them. The banh mi was good. i liked that the pate wasn't too heavy. It also had cold cuts, Vietnamese ham, and pork floss. The service was excellent. The staff checked on us frequently and refilled our water. For me, it's comfort food. The dishes aren't extravagant, but I would come back when I'm craving a bowl of pho.

Food menu. Prices are more reasonable than Bunsik!

This place was bunsik, the Korean Japanese, and you can tell they pivoted because the health and safety document still says Bunsik on it instead of Annam! While Bunsik was a bougie, expensive Korean Japanese shop, this one seems to be a more reasonably priced Vietnamese style restaurant. They have a huge drinks menu for boba lovers (of which there are plenty, myself included), and some relatively reasonably priced food: $9 for banh mi and $16 for a bowl of pho. The decor is basically the same as before and it's pretty quiet and clean. The previous iteration of the restaurant had items that were more than $20 and I think generally more of a put-off, but the new one has prices that more match the food in this mall area. Also, very few less than $10 food options other than Dick's, and it's a nice trade-off for some fresher, healthier food. I came here for a pork banh mi to go, and it was delicious. I was excited to see pate in it (a lot of places skip it), but also surprised to see pork floss and some yellow cream (tasty, but unfamiliar). I'm not very familiar with banh mi authenticity so I won't speak to that, but I will say I was very happy with my sandwich. At first glance I didn't think it looked like a lot of fillings, but as I ate it, I felt it was an excellent ratio. I'll come back for pho when it's colder outside; I'm pretty excited to try it given how today's went!

The portion of pho (noodles and meat) was more than enough for my husband and I. The broth was nice and clear. The bahn mi was also delicious with the freshly baked bread, which they make in-house! It had really chill vibes and a clean seating area/restrooms.

This place has potential but experience was very mid. The decor was open and more modern and seating was not a problem. The service was friendly but wasn't that attentive so had to wave down a few times for ordering and water and etc. the food itself fell right in the middle, the banh mi, pho and noodle bowl were all just "okay". It's not bad but wouldn't say it's good either. Hopefully it's was just a chefs bad day.

Had lunch here with a friend. The service good and the food was overall good as well. I didn't care for the pate in the pork banh mi. The pate was not the right taste or texture. The broth was nice and the price is reasonable. The interior was bright and clean. I'd come back to try their vermicelli dishes.

We ordered the #1 Pho, #7 Special Combo Pho, Fresh Spring Rolls, and a Banh Mi sandwich, everything was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich,, the ingredients fresh and vibrant, and the spring rolls were light and perfectly paired with the peanut hoisin sauce. The atmosphere here is what really sets this place apart, spotless, calm, and beautifully decorated. It feels much more refined and relaxing than most pho spots. A quiet gem with a modern touch, yet still warm and welcoming. Definitely one of the best pho restaurants around.

Overcooked noodles

Customer Service: I ordered and paid online, received confirmation in email, and drove 15 minutes to the location, only to be told they didn't have my order. I then had to wait again in the store for it to be prepared. Food: Ordered the steak and meatball pho but received pho with no meatballs. The noodles were overcooked and falling apart (see photos), and the broth was sweet and nothing special. Steak was just crumbled meat. Overall, the worst pho in the area. Would give a 0 if possible.

two bowls of the #7 special combo

Stopped by Crossroads the other day for a quick lunch and decided to give Annam a try. The interior was nice and clean and with it being empty bar the two of us and the employee, service was fast. Partner and I both ordered the #7, their special combo pho which contains tripe, tendon, round steak, brisket, and meatballs. Other Yelpers have mentioned that the price per portion is lacking, but I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the pho. I want to say it's on-par, if not slightly larger than the nearby options (specifically; La Que/Papaya in the mall which offers less variety in meats.) I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl and thought the broth was light yet flavorful, very easy to drink. My partner did not share the same sentiment, and just thought it too light.

Pork and chicken Banh Mi

This spot makes really solid bánh mì. The bread is crunchy on the outside but soft inside, and the fillings are fresh and tasty. The mix of meat, pickled veggies, and herbs hit just right. Definitely somewhere I'd go back to. Customer service was also very good. Atmosphere was very modern and clean. The strawberry milk tea was really good. Sweet but not too much, and super creamy. I'd order it again for sure. The fruit tea was super refreshing. Light, not overly sweet, and the fruity flavors came through nicely.

Best Pho im Bellevue area!! I'm new to the area and have been struggling to find a good pho place and I'm so glad I found it! It was so cute and clean inside. I appreciated the service as well.

Not bad but we prefer a different hot pot place. Portions were pretty small here. The weight staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This was on a Friday night at almost 6pm and my friend and I came in to a nearly empty interior that filled up throughout our stay. Is it just dinnertime that time or were my friend and I bringing in the crowds? You'll enjoy a very clean and well-kept restaurant with clean tables and chairs, with lighting that's very little but lights up the whole place well. Menu has a lot of offerings (both regular and vegetarian) but since it's dinnertime I decided on a rice dish as usual. I got their beef short ribs rice dish, which has their usual marinated short ribs with a fried egg and veggies. I actually liked how they offered their rice in a separate bowl, and everything else on one plate... which means the meat almost covered my whole plate! By the way, my friend got their grilled pork chop rice dish, and the meat also almost completely covered his plate. Both our meats were marinated so well and held in so much flavor, and came off their bones easily. We both agreed the grilled beef short rib dish I ordered was the winner because of the bolder and more defined marinated taste of the meat. I've tried so many Vietnamese restaurants and almost exclusively get their beef short ribs rice on the first visits of them, but this is the first time I've seen meat portions this huge for a rice dish. I'm thinking of coming back here for another visit even if I have to deal with the tight parking plaza this place is close to.

They have a large menu with lots of options, and lots of items I was not familiar with. Our table ordered the spring rolls with pork. They were delicious! I went with their Classsic Vermicilli bowl which comes with pork, shrimp, a tiny egg rolls, noodles and cucumbers. It was delicious the pork was very tasty and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The restaurant is large and definitely a spot for families both small and big. I only noticed a few to go orders. Great spot for Vietnamese food if you happen to find yourself in Bellevue.

Luckily, we quickly got seated, and our orders got taken. I asked for extra cilantro, and they perfectly accomplished that. I ordered the Pho Tai, medium-sized, which was about $16, sort of average pricing for pho. The meat quality was just good, but the broth was flavorful. I have come many times over the years and the servers dont go out of their way to be nice. Thats fine, since pho restaurants usually have that vibe of just coming in for your food. But the last time i went, they did go out of their way; unfortunately to be RUDE instead. My friends and i came in at 8:30; we knew they closed at 9, but we had our orders ready, and they sat us without an issue (as it seemed). They then gave us attitude and rushed us the entire time. My friend asked the girl server with glasses for extra veggies. The server visibly hesitated, said yes, but then tried to explain the veggies were to portion. We said we understood that but simply wanted more. She agreed, but then proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the time. She ignored us when we said thank you, and stood behind our booth without saying anything; waiting for us to get up and leave. The other server (asian guy, about 20s, with a mask) who had sat us, stood and watched us eating the entire time. When he brought us the first two bowls of pho, he said it was x item, then randomly waved his hand at me to tell me it was y item (my order). It wasnt lol. When he rang us up, he basically threw us our reciepts to sign. In the past, it once took this same server my entire meal to refill my water and in the end he never did it. I didnt think coming in at 8:30 was crazy, especially when most of the restaurant was filled when we pulled up and we knew we could finish up by 9 (which we did). If youre going to ruin our meal AND experience because we came in at the last hour then dont bother seating us at all. And if youre going to have this much resentment at the end of your shift for giving customers extra veggies then learn how to say no. I as well as my two friends each have worked in customer service for a long time. We know its annoying to have late customers, and i dont know what kind of day they had. Its still unreasonable to behave like this at their grown working age. Like i said; learn how to say no, maybe your shift wont be so miserable. And dont take it out on your customers; its a terrible business look. Ive tolerated the small things like them not being the most friendly or forgetting to fill my water; ive once overlooked them giving me the wrong order before. But i will not be coming back anymore since i prefer not to have staring competitions with my power-tripping server.

The staff were friendly and polite - and they graciously accommodated my peanut allergy, and quickly accommodated small requests like for bowls or extra napkins. We ordered four items: the missus got the bun bo hue, and I got the special beef pho. We shared the pancake and the spring roll. The noodle dishes were decent, but the standout was the Vietnamese pancake. Definitely order this if you're on the fence! The restaurant got a lot busier after we got our food - at least two or three parties who arrived (two each) had to wait between 5-10 min for a table to clear. The staff are super efficient at clearing tables so you won't need to wait long, but the downside of this place is that their popularity easily exceeds their capacity - so be patient! I don't have any notes for ambiance. Parking is available in the same plaza, but there isn't much - a lot are reserved for specific businesses between specific hours, so be careful not to park in an open business if you intend to eat here!

Loyal Customer, $800+ Spent -- Birthday Celebration Handled Poorly…read more I visited Monsoon Bellevue for my birthday with a group of 12. I've been here many times over the years for birthdays and group dinners, and until this visit, I had never experienced anything like this. We called ahead and were told our party size and the fact that this was a birthday celebration were fine. Based on past experiences, Monsoon has typically offered a small birthday dessert or acknowledgment, so we came in expecting a normal, welcoming experience. Our group spent over $800 during this visit. While the food was okay, the service was extremely poor. Our server, John, was curt and unfriendly from the start, and there was no acknowledgment of the birthday at all, which was already a noticeable departure from how previous celebrations have been handled here. The situation escalated at the end of the meal. After only about 45 minutes, just as we brought out two birthday cakes and were preparing to cut them, we were abruptly told we had to leave because we had "been there too long." While saying this, the server pointed to his watch, clearly indicating that our presence was an inconvenience. He also stated that other parties were waiting for our table. However, there was no one waiting in the lobby or outside, and multiple tables were visibly empty at the time. This made the explanation feel inconsistent with what was actually happening in the restaurant. When we spoke with the manager, he said there had been a "miscommunication." In reality, it appeared there was no communication at all between management and the server. The manager had previously indicated everything would be fine, yet the server acted as though none of that had been discussed. When pressed, the manager said there was nothing he could do, offering no resolution or accountability. The overall experience felt rushed, dismissive, and unwelcoming, as though we were not wanted there. I can't speak to the reason for that, but the impact was clear. Everyone at the table felt the same way -- extremely disappointed -- and every one of us agreed we will not be returning. Given my long history with this restaurant, this was especially upsetting. I would strongly caution anyone planning a birthday, celebration, or group dinner to reconsider this location.
