Came here as a post-procedure treat for my husband and he loved it! Though to be fair he was starving for his procedure so maybe everything tasted extra good to him. Located close to Evergreen hospital tucked in a strip mall is your pretty standard pho shop. The broth was tasty and I wasn't super thirsty afterwards which is always a good sign that it's not overloaded with MSG. Only $1 more for a large which is on par with other places. The meat portions are pretty thin and most pho places have a little dish for you to squeeze your sauces onto for dipping which this place was lacking. The sriracha was also the very watery kind which I'm not used to as well. Overall the pho itself was solid and my kids ate up the leftovers and they're usually not a huge fan of pho. read more

This is hands down one of the best phos, we love the filet mignon pho. Delicious broth, nice noodles and great meat. The vermicelli bowl is disappointing though, it lacks flavor in the sauce and the meat is also very fatty and not grilled enough. Such a cute little Vietnamese restaurant in Kirkland. They've got a rich menu, with lots of choices for mains. It would be nice to have a gluten free (gf) sign on the dishes that are gf - just makes it easier for people with dietary requirements. Service was good and timely. This place was nothing spectacular but still good. We got the bbq pork fried rice and a pork bahn mi to share. The fried rice was better than most and a good portion to share. The bahn mi was pretty good and the meat wasn't too chewy which it can sometimes be. It was a little dry and I generally like mine with pate. The prices are reasonable for the area and the service was friendly. I'll be back to try their pho & a vermicelli bowl. I'm still trying to find decent pho restaurant on the Eastside and I happened to be close by here. Cut to the chase: pho broth was light, and didn't pack enough of a dense flavor. While my wife liked the pork and chicken of her bun/vermicelli dish, the accompanying fish sauce was pale and lacked flavor. Out of curiosity I ordered the a dry style egg noodle with wontons and BBQ pork which itself was okay, but again the accompanying dipping soup base was too light. I also found out about the extra $2 charge for seafood which was nowhere to be found on the menu. Most places make it super clear, but this place was sly about it. Not to mention the waitress also didn't tell us about it. It came with 4 pieces of shrimps and 5 pieces of squid, and I really don't think it's worth. Not to mention the squid is completely tasteless. I'd recommend ordering something that's not seafood or shrimp to avoid the surcharge. This place is such a cute find. The place is very clean and a 5min drive from Totem Lake town center. The service was great, very attentive and nice. I order the vegetable pho and it was one of the best veggie broths I've had! A little on the sweet side and I wish they had chilli oil at the table but would order again. My partner ordered the chicken fried rice and said it was a 4/5- a bit too sweet and oily for his taste but enjoyed it all the same. The bill was about $32 before tip for the 2 items. The restaurant is clean inside and has quite a few tables for seating so I don't expect it to run out of space for dine in. The ambience is nice with an Asian vibe to it. The staff is fast and attentive. They won't do much small talk but that's okay because you're here coz you're hungry :) not coz you wanna chat. The food was delicious. Small Vietnamese Restaurant in a strip mall in the Totem Lake area. Decor is clean and modern. Place is pretty popular for a little suburban restaurant. Was here at around 1pm on a Sunday and there were people waiting. Ended up coming back on a different Sunday for dinner. Place was about half full at 5:30 but filled up when I got my food. They have QR codes to scan to view the menu. Pretty standard menu, with a selection of pho and Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls and banh mi sandwiches. Got their beef rib pho which only comes in the large size for $16. For other pho you can get small or extra-large. The beef rib pho was pretty good size and comes with two beef ribs. The pho noodles had the right consistency. The broth was tasty, maybe slightly on the salty side, but that's how I like it. The beef ribs were very meaty. One of them was fairly easy to get the meat off the bone. The other one was maybe from end of rib cage and had more connective tissue that took some time to cut off and chew through. Probably could have cooked the second rib a little longer to soften it up. Overall was still a good fulfilling meal. read more

Ordered 2 small and 1 large Pho as takeout. in terms of the amount of protein. this restaurant is a poor value. A entree should have at least 4 ounces of protein (US serving portion guidance). The small Pho with meatballs has 6 half meatballs, or about 2.5 ounces of the protein-contributing food. As an entree, it should have at least 4 ounces, and at $16 is a premium entree and should have more like 6 ounces. (7-8 whole meatballs). The large with meatballs is 8 half meatballs, and still unlikely to meet the definition of an entree. The food is tasty, the price is high, and the portion is small. There wasn't any music playing inside and I was greeted immediately after entering the restaurant. Pho works wonders when you're sick with a sore throat. The small size pho here has the perfect amount of noodles. The sriracha sauce and hoisin sauce in the takeout bag adds the right amount of saltiness and spiciness. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. My parents and I came in here a couple of days ago and we ordered their pork over rice dish and it was SO FATTY. Like there was barely any meat it was just the skin and fat of the pork slice. We kindly let them know and asked if we could get a new plate or a different item and they proceeded and said no sorry that's how it's cooked. Reminding you that the fatty pieces of meat are flavor and can be delicious, but imagine it your entire piece, disgusting! I am impressed with this place. Price is reasonable and flavors are great. Loved the pho rib - the broth has a depth of flavor, meat was tender and the soup was hot. Spring rolls were great, loved how they include a crunchy element into the roll to give another texture for the bite. This is the first place that offered braised pork belly banh mi, so had to try and it did not disappoint. You can really taste the star anise marination and the tenderness of the meat balances really well with the toasted bread. The only dish that I could probably skipped on is the Lemon Grass Chicken, it's a solid dish but too simple for my taste. They could probably made it into more of a stir fry type dish and jazz it up. I give the food four stars but the service bumped my rating to a five stars. They were fully packed and yet, the waitress whom was running the show by herself did an excellent job being attentive. read more
