The banh mis have two options, $9 for 6 inches or $12 for a footlong. I believe they actually are around a foot long, but they're definitely on the skinnier side. While I thought the taste was good and fresh, I was a little disappointed in the amount of ingredients you get, though it does feel proportional to the amount of bread you get. Tried this banh mi shop based on recommendations from friends who've frequented this spot. This shop is easy to get to from Bothell. They're located in the corner of a strip mall next to a spa wellness and across the way from a nail shop. Ordering was fairly easy. They have a self-service kiosk with options to customize orders. I opted for the foot long beef lemongrass banh mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The sandwiches were made to order and only took a few minutes. The banh mi bread was a little dry and crumbly. The filling was more vegetables than meat. The beef was delicious, however I wish there was more of it. The Vietnamese iced coffee was refreshing and had the right sweetness. I love bahn mis and I especially love the bahn mis here. The sandwich meat is cooked to order on the stove. The veggies are fresh and plentiful. The bread has a nice crackle to the crust and a pillowy inside. It has got to be fresh every day. Never had a bad one yet and I've been here about ten times. The lemongrass is top notch as well as the bbq pork. The pricing is so hard to beat. I upgrade to the foot long and they cut it in half. It could easily feed two adults, in my opinion. Honestly, it's cheaper than fast food and SO much better. The boba is decent. Might benefit from a little more time in the blender but you're coming here for the bahn mi, not the boba. I have been coming here for lunch since they opened in January 2021!! I work at Evergreen and come on my lunch breaks. The lemon grass beef is my favorite sandwich and I can't leave without boba. Fresh avocado or Thai Tea is my fave. The owner Hazel is a gem. So kind and personable. I love supporting local women owned businesses. I've been coming for 4 yrs now and highly recommend. This past Christmas, I bought 10 sandwiches (lemon grass and bbq pork belly) that I cut into 4 for a party! With the exception of the mistake the first time, all the other times my order has been done on time. Not only that, but I get comments asking where is this sandwich shop from others. They really enjoy the sandwiches. Especially the chicken and lemongrass beef. You can order a foot long, add extra veggies and cut in half. It's quite filling and if someone doesn't have a big appetite they can split in half or save the other half for later. Bread is toasty, not stale.
