So freaking bussss. I've been here twice and both times it has been excellent. I want to first start by saying that the chocolate chip cookies are delicious. It is the perfect end to a meal. Both sandwiches I've had both times were excellent, as well. Service is friendly and quick and the inside of the restaurant is beautiful and cozy.

These are good sandwiches, but man are they pricey for what they are. The space inside is absolutely massive though, and I would definitely come back and stay longer next time. This time we came around an hour before closing and it was practically empty. We got the milanese and fried fish sandwiches, both of which were served warm and cut in half. Between the two, I liked the milanese more as it had more flavor - I really like the kimchi slaw and the pork remained really juicy after being fried. The fish was good but a little thin in my opinion. I also didn't think the focaccia was thaat spectacular as I had expected coming in - it was thinner than I anticipated but the parts that were thicker and chewier I enjoyed.

Sandwiches are huge and delicious. Each sandwich is really the size of two sandwiches--the picture doesn't do it justice. Sandwiches are easily shareable. I got the fish sandwich, and my partner got the pork one. The fish was pretty small compared to the thick slices of pork, but everything was still tasty and well seasoned. We prefer this spot over Fortuna. Coffee is skippable tho. We'd like to return for happy hour, as it looks like you could get half sandwiches during that time. We came around noon on a Sunday and it was packed. Fortunately we were able to grab a table, but the folks after us were struggling to find an open spot.

Stop by at 11:30 for lunch. There is an area right outside the restaurant to lock up your bike. It is only a block away from the Burke-Gilman Trail. There is a lot of street parking nearby for free, but it can be hard to get a spot. Staff were super friendly. I stopped by for the Seattle restaurant week 20$ lunch special. I love the turkey pesto sandwich. The bread was super fresh and there was such a complex combination of flavors. And I couldn't believe this size was only half a sandwich. I sat outside but there was also a lot of indoor seating. Restaurant seemed very clean. I received my order very promptly. I also got a really good-sized piece of carrot cake to go. Would totally come back to try another sandwich. Perfect place to stop by if you're on the Burke.

Not a lot left.

I picked up sandwiches for my family for the game. I guess everyone else in town had the same idea though because they were out of just about everything. I haven't tried sandwiches from here before but the reviews were good, and as they had sold out of almost everything I figured they must be on point. Maybe the issue was that the remaining sandwiches were remaining for a reason, but we were not impressed with them at all. They had a vast bread to meat ratio discrepancy for starters, but we also found them to be more messy than mouth watering. If we had just gotten one kind of sandwich or if it was just me who didn't enjoy it I might have tempered my rating, but it was five different people sampling three different sandwiches and frankly none of us were impressed. They just were not wonderful on any level. I wish I could give specifics but the sandwiches just overwhelmed the tastebuds with ishyness.

Great ambiance and decor inside the restaurant and delicious sandwiches on focaccia! Really enjoyed the Japanese curry beef sandwich. Counter service - seat yourself, water and cups available, bus your dishes. Before my visit there wasn't any pics of the Japanese curry beef sandwich - I rolled the dice and it was fantastic.

These are the kind of incredible sandwiches that are so stuffed with delicious ingredients that they will be gushing onto your hands by the end of the meal. Hushy's makes my favorite mortadella in two forms -- a traditional sandwich featuring a delicious blend of pesto and honey, as well as the best breakfast sandwich stuffed with a large, fluffy omelette. Both are amazing with a globule of creamy burrata (sub this onto the breakfast sandwich per request). For an awesome vegan choice, get the roasted carrots with added tofu turkey. Add that silky, smoked tofu turkey to any of the sandwiches, really. I love coming here for a late breakfast to kickstart my day, or bringing my laptop for a couple hours of work and a sandwich. The generous open hours, spacious dining area, and free WiFi make this an easy and tempting option every day of the week.

cool sandwich spot in Fremont off of Stone Way. It is counter service and they will deliver your sandwich to you once they are ready. the sandwiches are quite large - I usually will only eat half and then take half to go, so that justifies the price for me. You could also easily split one with someone and still feel full. I personally ordered the turkey and loved it. The bread is made in house and has lots of flaky sea salt on it, which I didn't mind but it might be on the saltier side for some. I also highly recommend getting a side of their salt and vinegar chips because they are some of the best salt&vin chips I've had. Their brown butter chocolate chip cookie was also really yummy. Hands down just a great experience and great addition to the Fremont neighborhood.

WORST BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE ! The facts : Ordered 12oz Ice Latte " TO GO " Showed up as demonstrated in photo & video in a glass ! Asked for white sugar and given stink eye for asking person whom is employed by the business to handle the task. Wrote an honest review and I shared an honest review and management does not approve they cry to YELP for removal ! Business reached out asking for my card information to so call give back. Moral of my story is DO IT CORRECT THE FIRST TIME & and I won't have to share my experience !

I was surprised by how large the space is. There is plenty of seating and a very cozy design. It's a great place for lunch or to stay and study or work. I tried their mortadella sandwich and marinated mushrooms. The sandwich was amazing; the combination of focaccia bread, Italian sausage, burrata, pesto, pistachio, and honey was perfect. I enjoyed every bite. I'm not a huge fan of the marinated mushrooms as the vinegar taste was too strong for me but the dish came with a variety of mushrooms and my friend enjoyed it. I would definitely come back to try their other sandwiches!

update: I came back with some friends visiting town and we got the roast beef and the special puri puri chips. roast beef was good but the flavors weren't anything new or special. I wouldn't choose it over the mortadella which is still my favorite. my friends got the mortadella and loved it we got the puri puri chips which maintained a great potato flavor but sadly they were wayyy too salty.

Four of us stopped by Hushy's Sandwiches for a quick snack before dinner because our Seattle local friend hyped it up -- and she usually thinks most Seattle food is mid. The sandwiches are on the pricier side, about $20 per sandwich, but you can definitely split it into two (small) meals. MORTADELLA - 22 Even splitting it into four mini sandwiches, we got to enjoy several bites of the sandwich. The mortadella came with burrata, pesto, pistachio, and honey. The pistachio made it special since it went well with the three other ingredients and provided a nutty crunch. The focaccia bread was top tier and fresh. Overall, this had to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend it. The interior is nice with a good amount of seating. They close a bit early at 6 PM, so you can only snag the sandwiches here if you do an early dinner.

Mortadella, Turkey, Potato Salad

Hushy's Sandwiches is easily making my list of best sandwiches in Seattle. I got the Mortadella and the Turkey sandwiches. I really loved the Mortadella especially because of the pistachio and burrata inside. Plus the focaccia bread it comes on is perfect. We also got the potato salad which was fine. Definitely plan for a bit of a line if you go on a weekend. We went at 2pm on a Saturday and waited around 20 to 30 minutes.

It's a simple sandwich with just a handful of ingredients but it goes well. The bread is pretty crunchy yet fluffy inside. The salty mortadella pairs well with the creamy straciatella (essentially a mozzarella cheese) and the crunchy pistachios. Also, it was a little pricey but the sandwich is relatively large so you get what you pay for. Overall, Fortuna Bottega brings a new sandwich shop to the area and they ingredients are simple however, all together, it works well!

got the Notorious PIG sandwich and the Buttermilk Biscuit while I was here…read more Starting with the sandwich, there were a ton of things to love about this The very first thing I noticed was how all-time crispy the pork belly was. Interestingly, the meat came in two separate pieces, arranges somewhat like an X or a cross in the middle of the sandwich. This certainly wasn't the eating experience of a typical sandwich with a circular meat patty, and I appreciate the creativity here. The meat was insanely crunchy, oily, and quite plentiful. Each bite felt a bit like you were biting into a crunchy churro, but without the sweetness. I did think the outside of the pork did overpower the inside, though, as I didn't taste the meat or the fat inside much, and due to the amount of breading the pieces ended up being a bit chewy The bun was quite good as well - it was pretty soft, fluffy, and served as a really good bookend to all the ingredients inside. I thought the lettuce and onions also were good. I don't know if I'm a fan of the jelly on the sandwich - but again, I do like the creativity. What did shine here was the aioli, however. In a lot of places, you don't really taste the aioli on a burger - but that flavor was ever-present on this sandwich, and it was really fantastic. The absolute best part of the meal, by far, though, was the biscuit I have to start with how huge this is. This is certainly not the size of a typical Southern-style buttermilk biscuit - rather this biscuit makes no apologies in its effort to stand out from the crowd. Absolutely nobody would mistake this for a traditional biscuit - on the contrary, I think on first glance most people would assume this isn't a biscuit at all. It's shaped more like a massive pastry. I hesitate to say that looks are deceiving, because it does look great, but its taste manages to elevate past that. This was SO good. The edges are baked perfectly - they're oily, crispy, crunchy, and perfectly flaky. All four sides provide an amazing base - like the walls of a fortress that surround the soft, tender interior of the biscuit. You can see the different layers from the outside as well. When it comes to the inside, there was so much to get through but every bite was heavenly. So much credit here goes to the honey butter - which when spread onto the biscuit, raises the taste level of the entire thing. I put so much honey butter on mine that I nearly finished the whole thing. When it came to the jam, it was good, but since it didn't combine great with the honey butter I mostly ended up just using the latter This place was expensive - around 16 dollars for the sandwich and 8 for the biscuit - however, I was quite full at the end

Unfortunately, I didn't really feel any of the 'spices' that they claim to have marinated this in - there was a little bit of flavor but really just tasted like grilled chicken i could make at home. There was no spiciness to the patty at all. It was a bit too cooked too - i thought it could've been more juicy I thought the buns were average - they didn't seem to be toasted well if at all - and didn't really have a crunch like you'd associate with a well toasted bun The onions really came through in the burger - adding a really nice texture, and they combined with the pickles to replace some of the missing flavor from the patty The cheese was above average as well The good thing about the sauce was there was a lot of it. The bad thing is that it really didn't add anything except being slightly sweet and softening up the burger buns a bit. A better sauce would've improved the buns a lot Lastly, the Oreo Shake. I thought this was fantastic - there were clearly a ton of blended oreos in. It wasn't as thick as I would've liked - felt more like a liquid - but you could really feel the oreo flavor with every sip. The best part was the end - when there were just a bunch of half-blended oreos sitting at the bottom and you had to eat them with a spoon because the straw wouldn't suck them up as far as portion size - i was pretty full after eating, but that might be more due to the shake than the burger. Probably a little overpriced. In my opinion, the grilled chicken burgers should be cheaper than the beef ones

When we did takeout, we each got a sandwich, and we also got a Chicago dog, "chum bucket" w/ tots, and a handful of cocktails. I'd had kind of a bad week and was basically like, I don't even care, let's just get whatever we want even if it's an insane amount of stuff, haha. They do single serving craft cocktails for takeout in little cans, which is pretty cool. And they were SO GOOD (all with very clever nautical-themed names). I think our favorite was the "No Ship Sherlock" seasonal Moscow mule. The Chicago dog was amazing - based on this and my previous chili cheese dog, I can say without hesitation that their hotdogs are 100% 10/10. The "chum bucket" tots were also really good, and again came with a very generous full cup of chili. I hate to say it because everything else was so good, but the sandwiches were pretty disappointing for the price, we both thought. I had a tuna sandwich and my bf had a veggie sandwich. They used fresh, quality ingredients, but both sandwiches were kind of bland, and a lot smaller than we were expecting for $14 apiece. That's the only reason I dropped a star, but aside from that, they are 5 star all the way. So, we would not revisit the sandwiches, but hotdogs and cocktails HELL YES YES YES!! Anything involving the chili is also highly recommended. And although I didn't really go into detail about it, chicken tenders were good, too (there were more in there than what the photo shows) - crispy and well-seasoned, and more than what I was expecting.

While it's a good sandwich, it felt a bit heavy; I really found myself looking for more acid to cut through the fat and grease. I'm glad I was sharing with Jenny because it's quite a lot for one person. I also noticed toward the end that the bread was burnt. Overall, it's a solid sandwich, but between the stomach issues and the char, I'm not sure I'd go back.
