It's not going to be the best coffee or food you've had. Everything is pretty average. The food is mostly prepackaged, so it doesn't feel very fresh, and the coffee is just okay. The space is nice though. It has a modern, slightly moody aesthetic, but the lighting is a bit dark. It's in a corporate office area and feels like a typical corporate coffee shop. They also seemed a little short staffed when I visited. Would I come back? Maybe if I needed a place to study or work. But I wouldn't come here specifically for the coffee or food. read more

2nd time is a charm! Last month we were around the area but couldn't find the location. Siri isn't always accurate with directions. Anyway, I heard wonderful things from some of my clients! Had to try it and it DID NOT disappoint. I went with a hazelnut mocha. They are known for their in house Swiss chocolate as the partner seems to be Sweden. They had truffles as well but I didn't get to try the food. Next time. It was a very clean environment and the barista was so helpful and patient with me. Great recommendation. Only downside is that during the week, their parking is terrible. Worth it! read more

Great ambiance but less than stellar service. We had asked for a hazelnut latte and instead of confirming that they didn't have hazelnut syrup they subbed it with a completely different hazelnut milk mocha without letting us know. Pretty disappointing but they did let us switch it out. read more

I was super impressed with my first experience here. Lovely, bougie, spacious, comfy, and safe cafe with great drinks, food, and vibes. They have couches, tables, lounge chairs, chairs with cushions, outside seating...the lobby is very spacious. I loved the cozy cushion chairs, it was a perfect cafe to enjoy a matcha and read my book. The staff were super friendly, kind, and communicative. I ordered the matcha brownie, almond croissant (both pastries warmed), and a 16oz oat milk Matcha latte. I am very appreciative they use ceremonial matcha!! My matcha was beautiful and tasted great! Dote is a place so lovely that it's worth it to move to the apartment in the area and making it your coffee work space. It's super spacious (can fit maybe 100 people), never crowded, and conveniently located right across the street from the light rail station. It's mostly used by Meta employees but you can sit there and not feel shunned as you would around Amazon buildings. Don't need to say how good the coffee is. They specialize in chocolate/mocha varieties and you can purchase chocolates, pastries, coffee beans and more. They usually have a seasonal special as well. read more

I'm so glad that Bellevue finally has a café that's truly worth visiting! The space is absolutely beautiful -- modern, stylish, and the kind of place where I could easily see myself sitting for a few hours. It felt like the perfect spot for working from a café. This time, I was in a bit of a rush, so I grabbed an 8oz latte to-go, and I absolutely loved it. The coffee was smooth, strong, and hit all the right notes -- exactly what you want from a well-made cup. I'm definitely planning to come back for a dine-in experience next time. Cute and cozy spot! Lots of room to work in a very quiet area of the city. I tried the golden milk for the first time and I liked it! I'm not a huge fan of ginger but it wasn't over powering! I liked the sandwich however the sausage was a little too peppery. I will definitely come back to work and try more drinks! read more

It's so nice to have a coffee shop and another business in Bellevue's newest neighborhood, the Spring District. Although there is a Dote Coffee Bar in the Lincoln Tower, this Dote Coffee Bar feels much more inviting, is spacious, allows dogs and is right next to the 2 Line. I came here with a friend on a Sunday morning and the place was busy, but didn't feel crowded due to how spacious the shop is. There's tons of space to sit inside as well as chairs set up outside the shop and because it's located in the Spring District, there are several areas for seating in the plaza. You won't have a hard time trying to find a place to sip your drink. The menu features classic, standard items, as well as specialty items that are worth learning about. The friendly barista let me know that the owner of Dote is a chocolatier, so mentioned that any drink with chocolate is a must. That's easy for me since I love chocolate! I ordered an iced white chocolate ginger matcha, which is a seasonal drink for this summer, and it was solid. I loved the ginger with the matcha and though it may sound sweet with the white chocolate, it actually wasn't that sweet, which I prefer. I could've easily had another one. They're in the works of getting their permit to serve alcohol and when they do, they will have specialty coffee drinks with booze. In addition to drinks, they have pastries and different truffles made from the owner. I'll have to try the chocolate next time or the affogato! But I'm so glad that Dote is located in the Spring District, an area that's emerging with more to come. read more

I love the Dote in Lincoln Square so when my friends wanted to meet up for coffee I suggested we come here. Unsurprisingly it was packed and my friends and I had to ask to split a table with some other patrons. I loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The two baristas were super welcoming and patient despite how busy it was. I appreciated how they barista who took my order helped me pick the right sandwich. I ordered a 12oz hazelnut oat milk mocha and a turkey and havarti sandwich on baguette. The mocha was perfectly creamy and I loved how rich the chocolate tasted. It was like a desert in a drink. The sandwich was so savoury. I loved how perfectly the turkey paired with the havarti and wasn't too oily. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire sandwich. My friends and I comfortably spent two hours chatting together while enjoying coffee. We love where the cafe is located and decided to come back when it's warmer to grab coffee and go for a walk outside. read more

This is next level high end coffee shop. Bellevue really know how to level up their cafe game. The architecture looks like it came out of a Chris Nolan movie. The espresso press even looks space aged. The lattes we got were smooth and delicious and I'd say we are coffee snobs. I'm SO excited to this addition not only to the spring district, but also to the Eastside. Their menu is super fun, with seasonal drinks to affogato. I've been needing a spot like this since I moved to the eastside more than I realized. The space is bright and modern, and a way better place for them to shine than their other location. I'm sipping their pumpkin latte and the ingredients are thought out and although it may be a little pricier than your chain coffee shops, you can tell the difference. The coffee has been roasted perfectly and it's not bitter, the latte I'm having now isn't overly sweetened, it's just right. The seating is plentiful and cozy, and I'm excited for this place in the summer and winter! One thing, at first glance, parking SUCKS. BUT! And there's a big but- there's a free garage to park in on 120th in the black building. And boom! Problem solved! read more

Definitely the coffee spot to go to for chocolate lovers! I've tried a couple of their pastries before, which were good. They've got a good amount of seating and places to sit down and work. For coffee, I've tried the vanilla bean white chocolate mocha, which overall was good, but a bit too sweet/milky for me. My only regret is it has taken me so long to stumble upon Dote!! Mocha is my coffee drink of choice, and let me just their mochas are outstanding! They have 3 variations of their mochas - dark, milk and white chocolate. I have tried all 3, and each one is absolutely perfect! They make their mocha with a decadent, in house, chocolate ganache. The level of sweetness is absolutely perfect! The space at location is large and comfortable. They have lots of seating, ample power outlets, comfy chairs and a great wifi connection. The staff is wonderful and friendly! This is officially my new favorite coffee shop on the Eastside! Their baked goods selection is sparse, with little to no savory options. A sterile coffee bar that would do in a pinch. I came on an unusual Seattle day. It is located in a Bellevue development that must have recently gone up. There was a Meta office next to a public transport station as well as new apartments in close proximity surrounded by a sea of office park sprawl. The cappuccino I ordered was unfortunately not the best. But it was clean, there was plenty of seating, the windows let the light shine through. So overall this place can do in a pinch if a sterile experience with predictable quiet seating is what you are looking for. read more

I had about 90 minutes to kill so I stopped by Dote to check out the cafe. The location is industrial and spacious with lots of seating and several different areas. I found a cozy pleather chair to sit in and enjoy my order. There are lots of nooks and crannies and plenty of privacy for remote workers. In fact, I sat across from a long bench with 4 tables and all 4 people were working on laptops. The barista was nice and efficient but not conversational. The lobby has a few really cool chocolate sculptures since the owner is a chocolatier. Drinks here are not sweet but still full of flavor. I got the dark chocolate honey mocha. I didn't taste any honey but there was lots of chocolate flavor. I also got an almond croissant, which was expectedly delicious. They have a bussing area with a water spigot that gives only room-temperature water. I wish it was a little colder. They also had some chocolates and coffee beans for sale. This place is definitely for the serious coffee drinker since the drinks are carefully crafted and not so sweet. read more
