2nd time is a charm! Last month we were around the area but couldn't find the location. Siri isn't always accurate with directions. Anyway, I heard wonderful things from some of my clients! Had to try it and it DID NOT disappoint. I went with a hazelnut mocha. They are known for their in house Swiss chocolate as the partner seems to be Sweden. They had truffles as well but I didn't get to try the food. Next time. It was a very clean environment and the barista was so helpful and patient with me. Great recommendation. Only downside is that during the week, their parking is terrible. Worth it!

MOD Bar. Espresso pulled here

Nichelle and Grisell our fabulous ambassadors of the Dote brand Notice the MOD bar where they do the coffee it's supposed to be more conversational, welcoming, and friendly, and the whole design as well as the team really abide by this. It's inviting warm that you can just sit in the corner and have a meeting or work. Or just relax some people watch as if you're in Europe. So excited to see them expanding in this really great little area in Bellevue called the spring District. Watch for it. It's just lovely. And great easy location. I've learned they just opened a walk up espresso bar at their culinary kitchen, which I believe is in Redmond But if you're looking for a really great spot for some yummy food, great coffee and I'm inviting Design that is both grounding and inspiring look no further - when there come to Dote

Great ambiance but less than stellar service. We had asked for a hazelnut latte and instead of confirming that they didn't have hazelnut syrup they subbed it with a completely different hazelnut milk mocha without letting us know. Pretty disappointing but they did let us switch it out.

All pastries and available sandwiches displayed. So many options!

I was super impressed with my first experience here. Lovely, bougie, spacious, comfy, and safe cafe with great drinks, food, and vibes. They have couches, tables, lounge chairs, chairs with cushions, outside seating...the lobby is very spacious. I loved the cozy cushion chairs, it was a perfect cafe to enjoy a matcha and read my book. The staff were super friendly, kind, and communicative. I ordered the matcha brownie, almond croissant (both pastries warmed), and a 16oz oat milk Matcha latte. I am very appreciative they use ceremonial matcha!! My matcha was beautiful and tasted great! The latte art was such a pleasant touch that it made me smile! Both pastries were sooo tasty...I think the matcha brownie was my favorite :) I would definitely return and would recommend!

Dote is a place so lovely that it's worth it to move to the apartment in the area and making it your coffee work space. It's super spacious (can fit maybe 100 people), never crowded, and conveniently located right across the street from the light rail station. It's mostly used by Meta employees but you can sit there and not feel shunned as you would around Amazon buildings. Don't need to say how good the coffee is. They specialize in chocolate/mocha varieties and you can purchase chocolates, pastries, coffee beans and more. They usually have a seasonal special as well.

Great coffee. The cafe is great to work from. They do not label their food for dietary restrictions, so I never order food here. Its not convenient to ask about each food item

Sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich

Cute and cozy spot! Lots of room to work in a very quiet area of the city. I tried the golden milk for the first time and I liked it! I'm not a huge fan of ginger but it wasn't over powering! I liked the sandwich however the sausage was a little too peppery. I will definitely come back to work and try more drinks!

Sun-dried tomato scone & chai latte

Nice cafe to sit, relax, and enjoy your drink of choice. Appreciate that this cafe uses real cups. Right across the street from the Spring District light rail station in Bellevue. Chai latte and sun-dried tomato scone were both excellent.

Interior

Great coffee (decaf cappuccino and matcha latte) and nice modern interior on Meta campus but music is so loud I had to use my EarPods to mute the loud music. We had to talk loud to make each other heard. People from Dote: many people don't like loud music forced upon them. Play some nice French cafe playlist in the background. Sadly, we won't be back.

It's so nice to have a coffee shop and another business in Bellevue's newest neighborhood, the Spring District. Although there is a Dote Coffee Bar in the Lincoln Tower, this Dote Coffee Bar feels much more inviting, is spacious, allows dogs and is right next to the 2 Line. I came here with a friend on a Sunday morning and the place was busy, but didn't feel crowded due to how spacious the shop is. There's tons of space to sit inside as well as chairs set up outside the shop and because it's located in the Spring District, there are several areas for seating in the plaza. You won't have a hard time trying to find a place to sip your drink. The menu features classic, standard items, as well as specialty items that are worth learning about. The friendly barista let me know that the owner of Dote is a chocolatier, so mentioned that any drink with chocolate is a must. That's easy for me since I love chocolate! I ordered an iced white chocolate ginger matcha, which is a seasonal drink for this summer, and it was solid. I loved the ginger with the matcha and though it may sound sweet with the white chocolate, it actually wasn't that sweet, which I prefer. I could've easily had another one. They're in the works of getting their permit to serve alcohol and when they do, they will have specialty coffee drinks with booze. In addition to drinks, they have pastries and different truffles made from the owner. I'll have to try the chocolate next time or the affogato! But I'm so glad that Dote is located in the Spring District, an area that's emerging with more to come.

This is next level high end coffee shop. Bellevue really know how to level up their cafe game. The architecture looks like it came out of a Chris Nolan movie. The espresso press even looks space aged. The lattes we got were smooth and delicious and I'd say we are coffee snobs. The croissant was more like a ganache and the matcha brownie was so exotic and good. Wish they had spots like this where I live. But alas, only Seattle can offer something like this.

Food & drink: (5/5) I got the ube s'more float and my partner got the Thai tea with cream. The float consists of Thai tea on the bottom, ube and tea soft serve on top, and ube marshmallow around the rim. It was my first time ever having OMO and my first time having ube and Thai tea together so I was very intrigued. Needless to say, they made a very good combo. I would describe the flavor as kind of earthy from the tea and custard-like from the ube. The marshmallow was pleasant for the first couple bites but by the end was a little too sweet. I got a sip of my partner's drink and it was also very good, though I can't say that I prefer it over a regular Thai tea without the additional cream. I'm hoping to come back to try the kaya toast and ube hot chocolate. Service: (5/5) We came in a rush at about 7:40pm because we were scared of a potential last call but they actually accepted orders until the very last minute. It's a very small store with only a front counter and one kiosk, and you wait in a line outside. It's definitely a different system compared to most places but they make great use out of their space. There was one worker very efficiently guiding the line and several others behind the counter, making drinks pretty fast.

I absolutely loved the tea flavor, It's strong, floral, and fragrant, something you don't often see. The whipped cream was light, airy, and had a subtle jasmine flavor that really elevated the drink as a whole. I was worried it would be overrated and overpriced, but you can definitely taste the quality difference in the ingredients they use. The drinks alone are honestly a 5/5 for me. One thing that did rub me the wrong way was the service. Despite coming in on a fairly quiet day, there were a few staff members who (in my opinion) acted a bit disrespectful towards other customers. When you come into the store, there's a big order sign at the front of the booth, so most would assume to order from there. On the other side of the store though are two kiosks which make ordering simpler, so I guess they weren't using the actual order booth. I noticed that a line of customers had formed at the order booth but none of the staff were really interacting with them or telling them to use the kiosk instead. They were all kinda just chatting with one another and only alerted them about the kiosk once a customer asked for their attention. Not the most efficient process or positive interaction in my opinion. Despite all that though, the tea is definitely good enough for me to come back.

Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the overall experience is consistently excellent.
