Super cute spot in Bellevue botanical garden! The shop is a cart inside the central building in the garden, sat in a very bright and area room with lots of seats! We ordered golden milk and the crème brûlée latte. Both were great! The golden milk was a little less "spicey" than others I've had which actually enjoyed! The crème brûlée was a fun extra treat! Would definitely come back to get a drink and sit inside for a quiet work spot!

The cafe was small, but many people came and went - quick pick-me-up, chat with friends (me), study, watercolor painting, etc. We both ordered the Black Sesame Latte because who doesn't love black sesame?! The drink was alright to me, I couldn't taste or smell much of the flavor. I didn't even finish it. We sat in the corner with a window view to the garden and next to the "library" area. Also, kind of a kid's corner. It's a nice place to relax a bit, enjoy the garden from inside, and maybe order a regular coffee?

Unfortunately I had the worst sesame latte I've ever had here. The flavor was just sludgy at the bottom and the whole drink tasted inconsistent. I couldn't finish it. The croissants we had were lovely and my partner liked his Italian soda (as did I). I'm not sure if it was just a really off day for the lattes or what. The barista was very polite and was working pretty quickly so perhaps it just was rushed. The ambiance is cool because you're sitting with view of or outside in the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. I just wish I had enjoyed my drink more.
Sam and Ally are fantastic, my white chocolate americano with whipped cream was spot on. May daughters Golden Milk Latte was fantastic. Service was quick and friendly and will definitely come back again. The setting at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens on a warm summer day provides the perfect ambiance to relax and enjoy the lovely drinks. Great job with your coffee venture Christine.!
Great little place for a coffee and a bite while enjoying the botanical garden. We had the Tiger Latte (Taiwanese dark brown sugar syrup + espresso). Also had the lavender lemonade- high marks for these. The turkey sandwich was very mustardy. Maybe a slip up in the kitchen, or maybe they're trying to get rid of the last of the kitchen's mustard! Would come back nonetheless. Super friendly and efficient workers.

This cute coffee shop is located within the fabulous Bellevue Botanical Garden, which is a must-see attraction (free too). Being able to grab a coffee drink while enjoying the beautiful garden grounds is an added bonus. I love that they offer a discount if you bring your own cup too. That's being green!
Copper Kettle Coffee Bar is the perfect place to grab a bite while exploring the Bellevue Botanical Garden. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a cute little library inside with plant-related books. Service is relatively quick as well. Hot Honey Latte: Part of their 2022 Autumn seasonal menu. Tasted pretty good with a hint of honey. There was not really any cayenne pepper taste and was not at all spicy, but other than that, it was okay. Sugar level was customizable (e.g. full, half, none), which I really appreciate. Morning Glory Muffin: Super moist with a nice added texture from a few sugar crystals. It was not too sweet at all, and was a very hearty, quick bite. I do have to say it was quite oily to the touch. I'll definitely come back and try the other menu items the next time I stop by the botanical garden.

I've never been to the Bellevue Botanical gardens. I was searching for a coffee shop away from downtown Bellevue and found this place. The Nature setting with a coffee shop right in the middle of it feels storybook. You can sit inside the cozy yet roomy cafe area or outside at one of the many tables or benches. I am very picky about my coffee. There is no disappointment here. Baristas are spot on. Nothing short of excellent. I will be heading there every time I'm in the area.
This was such a cute little coffee shop tucked inside the botanical gardens. It was the perfect stop during a nice walk and super convenient if you're spending time exploring the gardens. The space itself is very small, so it gets crowded pretty quickly. There are two entrances, and one opens right next to the register. That made ordering feel a bit cramped because people were constantly walking in while others were trying to order. Since they already have another entrance, I think it would make more sense to keep that one open instead, it would create a much smoother flow. I ordered a 16 oz light iced matcha powder latte, and it was soooo delicious 10/10. It was incredibly smooth and not chalky at all. My friend got the seasonal sesame iced latte and said it was really good too. They have some unique drink options that aren't overly sweet, and you can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients. The customer service was just decent. It took a little while for the person at the register to greet or acknowledge us, which wasn't a huge deal but stood out. Overall, I'm giving this place 4 stars. The drinks were excellent and definitely the highlight, but the customer service could be a bit more welcoming, and the ordering area would benefit from a better layout. With a few small improvements, this would easily be a 5-star spot. read more

Copper Kettle at the Bellevue Botanical Garden is such a delightful little escape. It's a coffee shop surrounded by flowers, plants, and peaceful garden scenery. What more can you ask for? It's conveniently located, not far from downtown Bellevue, but once you're sitting there with your coffee, it feels like you've been transported to a completely different world. I'll admit, the setting probably influences the experience, but I really enjoyed my coffee and apple turnover more than expected. Maybe it was the garden views, maybe it was actually that good. read more

Friendly service. Great spot with a variety of milk options for those who are lactose intolerant We enjoyed the black sesame latte without the coffee. Wish there were more snacks like pastries but we were there later afternoon, thus most items were gone. Great space with lots of window to enjoy the garden and a library section to entertain kids. read more

I was here to pick up my Hedoismé bon bons I decided to try out Copper Kettle Coffee Bar as well since I got a complimentary 10% discount. The service was great and the staff was really nice. The ambiance is nice since it's right in the middle of the Bellevue Botanical garden so it's a nice vibe to enjoy on a sunny day. I got the crème brûlée latte and I really enjoyed it! I would recommend if you end up at the garden walking around during the day, it's a great spot to stop by! read more

What a beautiful place. The best chai latte I have ever had, and the people running it are absolutely wonderful. It is located in the heart of the beautiful Bellevue Botanical Garden. My fiancé and I like to frequent the garden, and will now frequent the coffee shop as well every time we go to see the followers or hike on the trail. A great coffee shop with delicious drinks in the middle of a magical place. A win-win for all. read more
A gem hidden in the mystical wonders where birds are chirping, trees are getting it's green leaves back, and flowers are starting to blossom, I bet you wouldn't expect there to be a coffee shop in the middle of all this nature. There's just something so charming about Copper Kettle, maybe because it's located inside the Bellevue Botanical Garden, take a left when you get to the front entrance and walk up the hill to find it. They currently have a Lunar New Year's menu up which is so cool! The espresso here is one of the best I've had in Bellevue, everybody is super nice also. Their schedule is open on Friday-Monday from 10am-2pm, nice to stop by here after a walk or date, or if you just need coffee, there's plenty of open parking in the garden's private lot. Things going well with your new hookup? Then you should go to the Bellevue Botanical Garden and have a coffee and pastry at Copper Kettle Coffee Bar the morning after. It's guaranteed to be your great next date. In all seriousness though, isn't a cafe in the middle of a botanical garden just more than makes sense? After a stroll along the trails and fresh air, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a Macrina pastry, while still hanging out on the patio seating. Or you can stick around inside because it is Washington state after all, and tends to rain. Yet no matter where you sit, Copper Kettle Coffee Bar is a solid place for caffeine and a snack. Copper Kettle Coffee uses Sleeping Monk coffee from Canon Beach, Oregon and it's damn good. I ordered an iced s'mores mocha with three shots, and loved how much of the bold coffee flavor I tasted, even with a sweet drink. That's when you know it's good. Menu is decent, with classic espresso drinks, teas and drip. And they sell pastries from Macrina Bakery, just in case you get hungry. I'm glad to have this cafe in one of my favorite places in Bellevue. It's an inviting space, with large windows that look out to the garden, in addition to the outdoor seating. Staff was friendly. And the coffee was solid. I'm a fan. read more
With the need to get some fresh air, I found myself at Bellevue Botanical Garden. After a while enjoying the flora and (not so much) fauna and also getting lost, I found myself at this cafe. I had never been here but I could imagine in other times, the internal space could be a place where one could sit inside. But luckily, there is outdoor seating that is a proper distance apart from each other and is close to the cafe. In terms of the selection, it is typical of what you can get at a cafe. There is coffee selections for those who need their caffeine plus their iced counterparts (shoutout to the iced London Fog). There is also other drinks too quench your thirst. They also serve food for you to eat like sandwiches and treats like ice cream (sweet alchemy) and also treats from Macadons (including their Macaron ice cream). Don't set your best for this too much as it may have ran out by the time you get to go there. If you know you are going to order at the cafe, you can preorder by calling/texting them your order. I would definitely recommend this to see if certain things are available or not. Especially the macaron ice cream sandwiches (you can see how I am a fan). Omg what a gem! I walked 30 min to the botanical gardens not knowing what to expect. I was so thirsty by the time I got there and it was the best surprise to find there was a cafe there! I got a cold brewed ice tea. walked some more and came back for a turkey sandwich. Walked a little more and came back for ice cream. First of all, after living by pike place and downtown Bellevue, the prices were actually reasonable! What a nice surprise. Tea was about $3, the sandwich was like $9, and the ice cream was $3. Second, the staff were nice and so friendly. Third, the food is good quality. The ice cream was organic and it was so flavorful. The sandwich was basic but got the job done. read more
A refreshing drink or snack is the perfect cherry on top to walking through botanical gardens! Finding Copper Kettle Cafe was a bit tricky for me at first considering all the forks and turns of the different garden paths. I'm sure seasoned visitors to the gardens can easily find it. But I had an oasis in the desert moment when the trees cleared and I came across the lawn that led to the cafe. The cafe is taking very good precautions and safety protocols because of the pandemic. Unfortunately this means the indoor seating area was closed off, but there are plenty of benches and lawn space for sitting. Or do what we did and enjoy the drinks while walking the gardens! If you're roaming the botanical gardens, why not do it with a good drink and snack in hand? read more
I have had this bookmarked for a while to try and wish we had come by sooner. Such a pleasant sublime environment. We stopped on a lazy Sunday morning after walking through the garden for a hot cocoa, coffee, and two scones. It is so thoughtful that they had a gluten free Macrina Orange current scone in the case as well (perfect for our youngest with his diet restriction, we were so impressed by the texture and taste!). Everything was wonderful and they were quite friendly behind the counter as well. We loved enjoying our treats outside the house in the garden with the classical music gently blaring from its speakers. We will look forward to coming back soon! read more

A visit to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens isn't complete without an iced green tea, espresso and a slice of their outrageously delicious squash cake. I have been here more times than my checkins indicate because I had no clue they had their own listing. Located inside a former modernistic home, there is ample seating in and outside. The inside is light and airy with tables offering a place to get some work done while sipping on coffee and looking out over the lovely garden. The setting is on the north side of the botanical garden. The staff is always superfriendly and upbeat. They have a limited selection of muffins, scones and sandwiches besides a variety of coffees and Tazo teas. Parking is in the Bellevue Botanical Garden parking lot. Highly recommended. read more
