You absolutely cannot skip the Beef Wrap. It is easily my favorite item on the menu. I've been to dough zone many times before but haven't gone in a while. I was surprised to see that the ordering is all done online now! Our group was able to place our initial order online easily and the food came out quick. However, we went back and ordered some drinks on our tab and it seemed like no one knew they had been ordered. Midway through our meal we had to ask for an update on the drinks and the waiter seemed unaware of the order. We ordered many different items and they were all very good! Everything came out very hot. I got a Thai milk tea and really enjoyed it. On a Friday night the restaurant was packed and very lively. Overall I would recommend dough zone. read more

They serve your ginger as grated, so it's not as strong flavor for the mild ginger loving fans. I personally prefer mine to be stronger, so I asked for 2 more! The staff were attentive and food came out fairly quick. We were in and out within 30-45 minutes. The pork in the pan fried pork buns were juicy and tasted a lot like the pork in the pork XLB, though I wish the buns were a little bit crispier on the bottom. First time at this location and we like it a lot because our kids enjoyed the food and they were able to walk/run around the restaurant :). We of course went during non-busy time so the kids were able to do it, but it's one of the bigger location so it's more spacious. I had a reservation for three, and we were promptly seated on a Sunday evening. I'm glad we made the reservation earlier that evening, as there were several parties loitering around the entrance area. Dough Zone is great, with their XLB skins being thicker than other XLB restaurants, and their Q-Baos (fried buns) always delicious and rocking a crispy bottom and fluffy tops. The Dan Dan Noodles had great chew and I would pass on getting the Zha Jiang Mian in favor of... just more Dan Dan Noodles. The cucumber salad is fun (fun shape, like a dragon/snake?) but pales with less flavor than other spots. Restroom in the back, condiments (vinegar and soy sauce) on the table. So, the previous review, 5 stars solely for the Beef Noodle Soup no longer applies. Its nowhere what it used to be, but still serviceable. No longer a "must order," but not gonna complain if its brought to the table. Something I always wondered was why does DZ not have a chinese staple of fried rice?!? It took 8+ years, but they finally have it. The first few times we tried it, it was just meh, but the most recent version is improved. There is a noticeable attempt at DZ to improve whatever they serve and that is appreciated. While not as good as DTF fried rice, its good enough to order now, so do it! The pumpkin XLB? Nope. :) Always like ordering the Steamed Pork Buns, a MUST EAT while hot, do NOT let it get cold, just not the same if you let it sit. Party of 3 here on a Thursday for a late lunch. Not really busy in the main dining area but a large group (20+) did arrive to use the private side room. First time here so we ordered a variety of dishes. We liked the unique way of ordering: we were given a sheet of paper with every menu item so we could mark quantities next to each item we wanted to order. Service was prompt and friendly. The Dan Dan noodles were fantastic, we had a couple different dumplings and wontons, all were delicious. The spiral cut sweet & sour cucumber was also a hit. The topper was the specialty Xiao Long Bao in pumpkin, just in time for Fall. After our meal we walked over to the Bellevue Downtown Park to enjoy the fountain and ducks. The food here was solid and to be honest this restaurant is far nicer than some of the other rough zones I've been to, so was really happy about that. The service was good too, nothing terrible but also nothing that stood out. The only reason I'm diving this 4 stars is because there are some dishes where i think they can do a lot better. Centered around its very good dumplings and noodles, Dough Zone Dumpling House has locations throughout the West Coast, including eight in the Seattle area. We had the opportunity to visit this location in downtown Bellevue, and our large group really enjoyed sharing a variety of dumplings, pancakes, and noodles at a reasonable price, especially for the area. Dough Zone was founded in 2014 in Bellevue, and has expanded to other locations, some of which we have visited. They do seem to have very good consistency in their dishes from location to location, regardless of their chefs. Our group of seven came to this location on a Monday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Indoor seating is plentiful and it wasn't busy, so had a nice environment to eat and converse. Orders are taken via a dim sum paper menu, and started to come in stages pretty quickly. All the food was really good. Green Onion Pancakes ($4.15) - super thin which makes it very crispy with no gumminess at all. This version of scallion pancakes is my favorite. Pork Xiao Long Bao ($9.95 for eight) - pretty sure these are made by an extruder (not by hand). I prefer this version since they are less costly vs a place Din Tai Fung, but just as good (with the top skin layer being as thin). All were prepared consistently, steamed perfectly. It has the right balance of soup vs the pork sausage, and the provided crushed/pureed ginger is a great accompaniment. Beef Noodle Soup ($9.95) - I ate this by myself and it was decent. I liked the springiness of the fresh noodles, and the broth was good. The chunks of shank beef were sparse, but made sense. Dough Zone occasionally offers discounted gift cards at Costco, which my son-in-law takes advantage of. Service was really quick. We went about a half an hour before closing. We got the Dan Dan noodles which they recently made it vegetarian (previously it had some meat mixed into the sauce) and it was delicious. We also got the vegetable potstickers, banana naan bread, and green onion pancakes. The potstickers were over cooked and soggy but the other two were great I personally would just not have wanted that much oil/butter on the banana naan bread but I just removed as much as possible with a tissue. The last time we were here the food seemed to have taken a step back but this time around we saw noticeable differences and improvements. First off the XLBs skin wasn't overcooked and seemed not as doughy. The highlights always their Q-Bao which is a fluffy bun filled with pork and a savory broth that is steamed then pan fried for a crispy bottom. The pork potstickers are a must with the nicely crispy crust. Another must is the spicy beef pancake roll. Our server was good and tended to our needs. It was very affordable not too expensive of which I liked and I guess that down and I ordered a nonalcoholic beer and water of course and the server was okay. I ordered the beef noodle stew. My family loves this Dough Zone and comes here often but today, we had a subpar experience in comparison to what we are used to from this establishment. To start, the bathrooms were filthy. My sister said there wasn't toilet paper in the stall she was in and had to get a roll from the handicapped bathroom. Additionally the paper towel dispenser was empty and the spare roll was left on the counter. This is just all around unsanitary as there's no way to know if the paper you're using to wipe your clean hands is actually clean or has been splashed by dirty water from another careless patron. At a food establishment, this is disgusting to me as employees also have to use the same bathrooms. We were very disappointed in the Pork Xiao Long Bao. They were out of the ones with crab in them and the Xiao Long Bao we were served came to our table looking like they had been through war. This is one of our go-tos and we didn't love how the soup was falling out of these poorly made dumplings before we even pierced them with our chopsticks. This made for a difficult and messy eating experience. All the food still tasted delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the Pork and Shrimp Potstickers and the Pan Fried Wontons in Chili Sauce which are some of my favourite dishes. The crispy bottoms of the potstickers make for a delicious crunch and we love dunking all sorts of dumplings into the delicious chili sauce. Our soup arrived last near the end of our meal when we had anticipated it arriving first as an appetiser. My mom asked for two bowls so we could eat our wonton soup. Our server brought us the check before bringing us our bowls and only brought us one bowl instead of the two we asked for. This lack of attention just made us as customers feel like we weren't getting the service we needed. My mom ended up just not eating soup because we only received one bowl. We love Dough Zone and have never had an experience this unsatisfactory. I would probably afford them more leniency if the restaurant had been packed but there were only a few patrons and we had no wait time to be seated. Well, this zone wasn't busy and if you really are craving some dumplings, this is an OK spot but I spent just as much as I did at Din Tai Fung and didn't have nearly the experience as I would if we had just made reservations for there I hated this location. It's in a creepy dirty strip mall. The picture was absolutely gross, and it was lukewarm was not a fan The pork soup dumplings were nothing The way that we ordered just made the whole table thing confusing. I wish they would've each given us a little things so that we could do our own orders because they only gave us one paper so then it was too hard to really split the bill or even know who stuff was who's without going back to the menu that was online that had pictures. I don't know. I just have the best experience here. I would rather spend my money at Din Tai Fung and they also didn't have great desserts which I hate because I always love something a little sweet at the end of my dinner. read more

I absolutely adore dough zone and this location is no exception. It seems like it was built relatively recently, but it has an amazing interior and the atmosphere and ambiance are on point. Service can be a little bit slow when it's really busy but they're clearly working their hardest and doing their best to keep everyone happy. Lastly they stop validating parking so paid $8 for parking. Don't really support this decision especially for a location in the middle of Bellevue downtown. Service was not great. read more

This location is very spacious and clean, looks to be opened fairly recently in the past few years. High ceilings, a lot of oak-tone wood paneling, full length windows along the front facade, it's gave me the impression of eating in modern mountain lodge. I've never had a combination bao like this before and thought it was creative and tasty, seemed like similar filling to their XLTB. Been here multiple times over the years and sometimes it hits the spot for basic soup dumpling needs, while other times it leaves you yearning for more. The pork xiao long bao is the main star, but I just always wish they had more hot, scalding soup inside; unfortunately these chains in the Seattle area still don't stack up versus East coast spots. The steamed pork bun and pork/shrimp potsticker and dumpling are honorable mentions. The chicken and vegetarian versions of the aforementioned are just not on the same level. The soy sauce noodles don't have any memorable flavor. The dan dan noodles provides a nice zing, but similarly doesn't have much depth.
