    Vegetables xiao long bao

We were lucky to get a reservation at this new location during its soft opening days. We've been to the location in Bellevue over the past few years so we're excited to try this new spot in Redmond. The food is just as good as we remember, especially the xiao long bao. We had the chicken, pork, and vegetarian xiao long bao, paired with the fried pork chop, truffle mushroom roll, and the truffle vegetable fried rice. We ended the meal with chocolate xiao long bao, simply divine! I do appreciate the color coding of the xiao long bao, pretty to look at and keep track of which ones have been eaten! Overall, would love to come back for more. Happy eating!

I was invited to the Friend & Family Soft Opening Event in June 2026. This event was to allow the staff to hone their craft. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We had one dedicated person who took our order and checked in on us. Then they had staff that would bring food to the table. Twice, we got a dish that we didn't order. The kitchen staff consistently delivered delicious, beautifully presented dishes with excellent flavor. I had the Lemonade/Strawberry/Passion Fruit blended drink with Lychee jelly, 50% sugar. My personal favorite was the fried pork chop and wild mushroom fried rice, but all was all delicious! The new interior was beautifully designed with modern finishes, neutral tones, and bright lighting that created a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Our whole dinner experience was enjoyable! Other people in my dinner party thought it was the perfect experience and beyond amazing!

We got an assortment of items for pick-up: Mushroom Garlic Broccolini, Bean Sprout Stir-Fry with Shrimp, Teochew Braised Tofu, Signature XLB Assortment, Wagyu Beef XLB, Supreme Spicy Pork Wontons, Szechuan Chili Oil Chicken, and Candied Peanuts. We enjoyed every item, but our favorites were the broccolini, spicy pork wontons, szechuan chili chicken, and peanuts. In fairness, soup dumplings are best enjoyed in-person, but they held up well enough. The food was thoughfully packaged and the service at pickup was friendly. The restaurant looked nice inside, though we didnt go beyond the entryway. The food was enough for 4-6 people, and cost $110 with tax and 10% tip. If I were comparing it to a certain restaurant in Bellevue, I would say that while I may prefer the other restaurants flavors, Supreme Dumplings is still a quality offering and gives significant savings for a comprable meal.

super happy this spot opened up in Redmond town center. Their truffle fried rice is my fav- really packs a punch with the umami flavors. Portion sizes are big too and the food comes out quickly. Not as large of a vegetarian menu as din tai fung but still has solid options

The inside of the store is really nice, we got seated quickly, and the staff was attentive and kind. The cucumbers were very flavorful! I also had the chicken xiao long bao which were delicious as well and had great texture. The only miss was the dandan noodles. They were a bit bland.

Nice dumpling spot. Not too busy for a late lunch. Got a private area to relax and eat. Staff is very friendly. Bathroom very nice too.

Noodle Nine delivers a genuinely authentic dining experience that feels like stepping into a slice…read moreof everyday Asia rather than a polished, commercialized version of it. From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

The space is minimally decorated, very small, but the food makes up for the lack of pizazz. There was a lady at the front window hand wrapping dumplings, it was a chive and pork wonton. We ordered that, pan fried wontons. It was good but the highlight of the meal was the Shanghai king dumpling and the braised pork on dry noodles. Wow those are amazing. Definitely worth the hype! Be sure to give yourself extra time because there was a wait to be seated on Saturday lunch. And it's a small place.

The space is small and a little narrow, so seating can be pretty limited. My parents and I were lucky enough to grab the last table, and we ordered 4 items: the dry noodle with scallion oil and braised pork chop, the secret dumplings, large wonton, and salty soy milk (dumplings and wonton aren't pictured). I was most curious and most disappointed by the scallion noodle and pork chop. The portion size seemed too small to justify its price point, and I felt the pork chop tasted dry. The noodles however, had a great flavor, so if I were to try the place again, I'd only go for the scallion oil noodles. The dumplings were amazing. They were a little pricey but worth the cost, and worth the restaurant name. The dumplings were larger than most dumpling places I've been to, and the meat and soup inside were super flavorful. The wontons were also good, though it can't beat the pan fried dumplings. The salty soy milk was a very unique experience- it was thicker, rich and flavorful than other salty soy milk soups that I'm used to. It almost has an umami, seafood-ish taste to it. Though I'm not a big fan of soy milk, I enjoyed this dish more than expected! After our meal, we got to choose some magnets to take home, which was a creative and sweet gift. For the overall price point, I don't think I'd be coming here regularly for a meal. I may drop by for choice items like the pan fried dumplings!

We almost cancelled the green beans as well because it took 50 minutes to come out and when it did, it was soggy and slightly warm (not great). Instead of driving, we walked over for lunch, especially since parking in the area is quite expensive around $6/hour. I ordered Dan Dan noodles, they were excellent. In my opinion, they serve one of the best dan dan noodles, with a generous amount of sauce and flavorful meat that really stands out. I also think they have some of the best soup dumplings, which are always a must order for me. We decided to try a chicken dish as well, but I didn't realize it was a cold appetizer. I do wish that had been mentioned somewhere. While the sauce was good, I personally didn't enjoy the cold meat. Overall, I would definitely return, mainly for the noodles and soup dumplings. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, though I did notice that the service was a bit slow.

And surprisingly, pricing ($12.99) for the 5pc Sheng Jian Bao hasn't increased in the almost 2 years since my first visit. Their method of cook is traditional, bunching a large number of bao together with oil and water in an oversized and specialized pan just for this dish (with the required cover for steaming, of course). The quality remains the exact same as my first visit - good amount of fatty interior rendered aspic, strong umami and aromatic flavoring on the pork meatball filling, and a nice thin doughy skin.
