    Duck Jianbing, $14.99 - 4 Stars
    Eva M.

For grins, we ate at both Master Bing and Me+Crêpe on the same night to see how they differ. Food wise, they are very similar, virtually identical. Both locations have kiosk ordering. The cost is a buck or two less overall at Master Bing, which makes sense for location, despite being in Bellevue. The clientele is very Asian or pick-up/delivery orders. This store has several small tables. When we went on a Saturday night, only two people were working, and it was quite quiet. They open late, too. This location is better set up as a sit-down venue with a water dispenser, small condiment display of soy sauce, vinegar, hot sauce, etc., and free black rice porridge (aka congee), which we added seasonings ourselves. The staff was friendly even if a man of few words. Seeing Asian faces, he defaulted to Mandarin. LOL The Food: Duck Jianbing, $14.99 - 4 Stars Spicy Crawfish Jianbing, $13.99 - 4 Stars Both proteins are somewhat expensive, and both crepes are lightly filled accordingly. Despite that, I was plenty full after eating the crawfish jianbing. Hubby ate Me+Crêpe previously, so eating the less-filled duck jianbing was just right for the big-appetite guy. The spicy crawfish isn't too spicy, closer to two stars. The duck is flavorful, despite not-much-there. Each half of the jianbing is wrapped in foil, which I like over Me+Crêpe. It's easier to eat.

Duck Jianbing: The different textures inside the jianbing were very satisfying. Even though I had a takeout order, the crispies inside still had a great crunch when I ate it. It had a fair amount of meat and a reasonable portion of food overall. The pick up process was very convenient; my order was immediately ready by ETA I was given. There is a small amount of seating available inside.

Parking is limited and difficult to find. The interior is small with only several tables. Music is pretty loud. Ordering is done through the two self service kiosk tablets. It's nice that they have water and condiments out for ease of convenience. There are also small plastic containers for condiments if you wish to take them to go. BBQ pork jianbing (4/5): flavor was really nice. The pork was tender. I also got shredded potatoes that were yummy too. The ma la flavor was a bit overpowering though and the jianbing itself wasn't super crispy. However there was a good balance of fillings. I liked the extras on the jianbing as it also has sesame and eggs. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Master Bing is a great place for some Chinese crepes (jian bing). Service is quick and the place is pretty thorough in terms of the general experience.

The jianbing (crepes) here are yummy! Would definitely come back. I got the duck and mushroom and it was delicious, although I was expecting shiitake so was a bit bummed to find button mushrooms. My husband got the spiced lamb jianbing with Chinese donut and it was tasty as well. The soy milk was good too. If you like your food spicy, definitely get it "hot". Even then it wasn't too spicy at all.

I do love jian bing guo zi! I got the original to test it out. And I was tempted into getting the tofu soup as well, which was exactly how I wanted it to taste. The two together was maybe too much food for me; probably just the jian bing would've been fine. I didn't really love the space-- kinda stuffy and small feeling, but the food was great/what I wanted it to taste like. And I really liked that you could watch them make it! It's certainly a little on the pricey side, especially cuz I used to eat this as street food in China ;_; but I understand we're in Seattle. I'd be happy to come here again if anyone I was with wanted to. (I'd perhaps try a different bing or even their duck rolls maybe?)

I've had the jianbing (Chinese crepes) at their location at the UW Ave back in 2022, and now I get to have them here in the Bellevue area too! Parking around this area is unusually tough though I did see what looked like a free parking garage that was already full when I got here around 2:30pm on a Sunday; I ended up getting lucky on street parking here. As for this location, it's located on the 2nd floor of a building that's not too far from Farine Bakery & Cafe and what looks like an apartment complex. There's only 2 or 3 tables inside, so it's best to get takeout here when possible. You order up at the front using a kiosk, while utensils, water and napkins are all self-serve. I got the spiced lamb jianbing at medium spicy, and wow do they add a lot of spice for just medium level. Besides that, it's crispy because of the chips inside, and the lamb is very well-flavored. The crepe itself wasn't soggy and actually stayed together even though some of the meat was starting to fall off from when I was eating it. Really great place in my opinion, and I'm down to come back to this location and the one at the UW... probably with the same medium spice level on my next jianbing just to smite my taste buds!

Authentic food and best service! Best thing is that they actually open at the breakfast time. The staff here are friendly and amazing! The chinese pancake tastes great! recommend start with original ones, and then try other flavors Free parking downstairs , and retail elevator straight up to 2nd floor.

Wow, Master Bing is a super unique, fun, cool little spot! I was wondering around the area looking for lunch. Below Master Bing is another asian restaurant - "Facing East Time" (which has totally different stuff and is worth checking out)... but I went up the stairs to the right, and Master Bing was kind-of hidden up there. I was there at about noon during the week, and there were like 3 groups in there already, maybe room for 2-3 more, so it's a small little place. When I opened the door, I saw the menu above me in front (all bing with different meats) and then to the right, there's a kiosk to order with a neon sign that says "Order Here". Okay! Clear enough. I ordered two orders of bing (which is... a total of 4 bing). They run between $10 and $15 for each order. So, with tax and tip it came out to about $33. Kind of pricey, but also... it was a lot of food because I wanted to try a couple different ones. They also had mini bing, which may have been the more correct move for me... Eh, whatever, you live and you learn. In any case, ordering was painless, and I sat down at one of the tables to wait. Note that you can also order online and skip the wait. It only took 5-10 mins, so I was fine... and it probably saved the establishment a few bucks. So... overall, ordering inside was fine. The inside is decorated and arranged like a street food/food stall kind of place -- it's very good. There's a flat top (i assume) where you can see them make your stuff if you want. Everything is a little awkwardly stuffed in there (like I said... maybe 6-7 tables), and it's super cute and low-key and fits the vibe of what they're trying to do. Perfect! I got my food in a nice little red bag and walked out. I ate outside on a nice fall day -- and the hot bing was absolutely perfect for the occasion. It was piping hot and fresh. I folded it in half like a little burrito, and went to town. 4 of them was... a bit much, lol. I wasn't stuffed, but it was a bit much. 2 would be a super nice, light lunch, probably. I'll likely do that next time. Maybe if it had a small side of something - a salad or a little bit of rice, that'd be even more perfect. The bing are just kind-of crepes stuffed with meat (in my case, one order with bbq pork, and one with duck). The duck was great - tasted like duck. I probably wouldn't spend the extra 5 bucks on it, though - the bbq pork was great, too. The thing that gave it structure was like a crunchy-something? I dont know... but it was a crunchy flat thing. Made it super nice and fun to eat, but didn't have much flavor that I could discern. Neither was very spicy (even though I ordered them medium and hot to test it out). It was fine - they were really good. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this place. Bing isn't a common food around anywhere, so it's cool to have something a little different.

You can see them make the crepes in front of and the ducks they use. You can also order on screen so that helps with customization. I got the sausage crepe and made it a combo with a drink--milk tea with coffee jelly. My husband got a bbq rice burrito crepe combo with Thai tea. And we shared a strawberry banana dessert crepe at the end. I liked that the crepes are cut in half to make it easier to eat and the crisp still had a nice crunch--not soggy at all. They also had a condiment station with sriracha mayo and soy sauce. I do wish it was more packed in the base option of the crepe. It felt like it was missing mayo or leafy greens. The coffee jelly was also a bit hard to get with a small tubed straw. It would be easier if they offered a bigger sized straw. The jelly itself was also a bit hard. On the other hand my husband really enjoyed his crepe and tea. He said it was really filling, the pork floss was delicious and the Thai tea was at the perfect sweetness level. They also do offer access to the restroom at the apartment across the shop.

Super tasty and hit the spot for something not too heavy and warm. Enjoyed my duck jianbing. The fried chicken jianbing is pretty good too. But the duck is more flavorful and has the 'Chinese' flavor I crave. The fried chicken has a 'western' take with a white sauce, mayo? I would be back especially if I only want a lighter lunch that I won't fall sleepy after. I would skip the flavored tea... they are syrup with artificial flavor. Ambiance is diner cafe like with metal furniture. Sit outside if it is not too cold- on a second storey deck. Not much of a service, you order, pay and watch them make the jianbing. Quite interesting and I included a video.

    Lindsey N.

Great new spot to grab some jian bing in the area. I love that their hours are so flexible. You can definitely grab it early or really late meal here. There is not much room to sit though so definitely plan to grab something to go. There's some cute decorations around the store and they play Chinese music which is cute. Parking around this area of Bellevue is always hard so plan to find street parking or pay for a lot. They currently have a promotion where if you leave a review on Google maps or Instagram you can get a free drink

I highly recommend this place. It is conveniently located, easy to order, staff was nice, and has a nice city vibe with great hours. The food was delicious. I ordered the crawfish Jianjang (pictured as only half of it) and Peking Duck rolls.

The crepes here are so good!! We ordered BBQ pork and Shredded beef, one mild and the other medium spicy, and both were really good. Even the mild one has a pretty decent kick to it, so be mindful if your spice tolerance is on the lower end. The outside is soft and a little moist, and the inside crepe is crazy crispy. The meat and other fillings inside is very flavorful. 10/10

The guy tried to be courteous but failed; I won't go into details. Prices are a touch higher than the nearby place; they include a salad to differentiate for the savory crepes. I wish creperies differentiate how they make the base crepe depending on savory vs. sweet. Savory ones benefit from more oil to enhance the seared flavor, while sweet ones don't. Their base crepe is good, not great. The Food: Merguez, $20 - 2.5 Stars This crepe has spicy Moroccan lamb sausage with onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and peppers. The overall size is modest. Hubby orders lamb often but was disappointed with these lamb sausages. He said they mostly taste like little smokies. Not a complimentary description. Norvegienne, $21 - 3.5 Stars This crepe has smoked salmon, spinach, capers, red onion, and crème fraiche. The salmon didn't taste as smoked as I would like. They are similar to the plain lox variety that might be on a bagel, which is not as flavorful. On the plus side, I thought this is a well-stuffed crepe. The included salad for both is a mixed greens with tomatoes, feta, parmesan, olives, tomatoes, and range dressing. I wish restaurants spill out their ingredients on menus. I don't like cold cheese; I could have saved them some money and tell them to skip it on mine.

Food wise, they are very similar. If I want a bigger bang for my buck, order a lower cost protein. The crepe will be better filled. Both locations have kiosk ordering. The cost is a buck or two more at Me+Crêpe; I don't fault them since Bellevue Square is an expensive location. The fact they survived through the COVID closures is a small miracle. The clientele here is predominately Chinese with a smaller mix of mall visitors. Everything is packaged to go. We stayed in the store to wait for the food; the staff handed us the bag with napkins and utensils. Stepping away is fine, too. The kiosk takes phone numbers to contact. Their little store has two two-person tables and one four-person table. All three were occupied when we went (good for them). We dined outside at one of the mall tables. The Food: Beef and Cheese Crepe, $13.95 - 4 Stars This is one of the lower cost proteins, compared to duck or crayfish. It was plumb and well stuffed as a result. You can see the beef in the photo. The egg-covered batter/crepe, the crispy wonton skin, green onions, and sauce are standard treatment. The menu marked this version as recommended. I agree. The one thing that I raise my eyebrow on is they fold over the two halves of the crepe. Either we our bites through the double stack, or get messy trying to eat each half.

They advertised their crepes to be Russian style; full disclosure, I don't know what that means. In any case, I stood there watching them make the crepe and it looks about the same as every crepe I've seen. I do like their batter/crepe being thinner, similar to Parisian style. There's another food booth that makes theirs way too thick. I ordered the one called Pacific, with smoked salmon, spinach, cream cheese, avocado, and tzatziki sauce. It's very delicious. With these ingredients, I suspect there's nothing "authentic" about it. It's very, very Pacific Northwest style. The crepe itself is a bit soft by the time it's served, lacking that slight crisp commonly found for Parisian style. That's how I make it at home, too. Either way, it was still delicious, and I would buy it again if I see them again. Side note: We went to the fair on the Saturday, hanging out till pass closing time. As we were walking back to the car, two gentlemen were meticulously cleaning every inch of their booth, prepping it for the next day's business. I've seen a lot of end-of-day cleaning at booths, and these guys were definitely above and beyond wiping and scraping at the edges cleaning every bit of crusty crepe remains. I was truly impressed with how much they cared for their equipment. A good crepe highly depends on a good pan/griddle for a good sizzle without the adhesion. I quietly made note of their work ethics and know I will have a good crepe again in the future.
