I came here around 4 PM on a Tuesday. They offer nice seating with free Wi-Fi, which was perfect for getting some work done. They have breakfast sandwiches available all day at reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the Bacon Omelette Melt and the Peach Cobbler. The Peach Cobbler was delicious with half-and-half, and I appreciated having a decaf option. I came for a hot chai 16oz on a Thursday morning around 10am. Lots of seats were taken but the window bar tables were available. WiFi worked well. There are outlets to plug in. Music wasn't too loud so I could take calls for work. The chai latte wasn't very hot or full which was my biggest disappointment. I was pleasantly surprised to see Macrina (a Seattle local favorite) pastries. I didn't get any but I sure wanted to and am happy to see it's an option! read more

Love finding new coffee shops! This place is pretty big inside and I love that they have mixed seating (window, couches, small tables, big tables). Coffee was good and they have quite a few speciality drinks (the Hawaiian latte was really good). Service was very friendly. My only complaint is that the parking lot is very busy and rather small. Nice that's it's free parking, but finding a spot may be a challenge on a busy day. read more

I am so happy this place is back to opening on Sundays. It's nice to have a cup of joe, tea and scone after a brisk morning walk. The ordering is Covid friendly with walk up ordering to the outside of the store. Employees are super friendly and patient. The iced peach tea is delicious and refreshing and extra yummy when paired with a scone or chocolate chip cookie. The iced coffee sweetened with a dash of milk gives a nice jolt to the morning. This places also offers hot breakfast options that we need to try next time. The sandwiches look tasty and fresh. There is seating outside and also inside. Really cool coffee shop! The interior is fun, with clouds on the ceiling, and bright furniture. There are tables in the middle, some higher tables/seating towards the back and a bar top as well. Ordered a macchiato which came served in the most adorable polish pottery. I collect polish pottery, so that alone would give me cause to come back. The espresso was velvet and smooth and not bitter as it shouldn't be. Parking is pretty plentiful and shared with only a few other businesses. There were probably 10+ other customers while I was there and it was still fairly quiet/comfortable. I got a lot of work done! Overall, I would absolutely recommend down pour for a nice caffeine boost in a lovely space. read more

There is a cozy fireplace, bar stools if you need to get work done, and outdoor seating for nice days. Upsides: decent coffee, although nothing to write home about, served in actual ceramic cups if you're inclined to sit a spell. A wide variety of seating options, from fireplace comfy chairs to window bar seats to classic cafe micro-tables and Adirondacks outside. Friendly atmosphere. Fair prices. Downsides: sloooowwww service. Don't come here in a hurry, because they're NOT. Wi-Fi is over-tasked and uselessly slow, unless you're the only one online. Food offerings are scant and pastries look poor and less than fresh. And, sorry, but this place is just plain ugly. The seating looks like a collection of flea market finds. The decorations are similarly, um, eclectic, looking like a display of grade school art projects, local maps, random Ikea lighting and shabby-chic clutter. And you know, if the coffee was rockin', I wouldn't care a whiff about how ugly it is. It might almost be endearing. Writing this with a bitter aftertaste in my mouth from poorly poured shots in an over-sweet mocha though, I am disinclined to find the flowers 'mongst the weeds.
