Krispy Kreme, while a chain, is a donut staple. They are reliably fresh, with light and fluffy dough that melts in your mouth and with simple, delicious glaze or icing. The Issaquah location has friendly staff and gotta love a drive-through for these yummy morsels. The inside is also a basic yet nice place to sit and enjoy your treat. On National Donut day, the line was out the door but the staff was smiling and patient with each customer. Loved the rainbow decorations celebrating Pride month read more

Awesome doughnuts ZERO customer service. Went in on Saturday, September 10 around 11am. Ordered a dozen and a large coffee. Total came to $26.37. The employee named Baddie struggled to cope with having to give change for a $50 bill. She eventually figured it out and gave me $25 in change. Apparently, the store didn't have $1 bills and she couldn't figure out how to give coins. This is really sad. I grabbed my doughnuts and waited for my coffee but instead, Baddie waited on the next guest. I had to remind her that I ordered a coffee. She then went to the coffee machines and started to make coffee. She did not communicate to me at all that it would take some time to brew coffee. This is a doughnut shop. WTF? No fresh coffee? As more guests came in, a manager asked what she was doing and he explained that there was already a full urn of coffee. She didn't bother to even check. I finally got my coffee and left. This was not a good experience and I expect more from a KK which is what I get at other locations. read more

I went into Krispy Kreme today intending to buy two specialty Pokémon doughnuts for my daughters. Instead, I witnessed such poor customer service that I chose to leave without purchasing anything. I arrived before another customer, but because I was still deciding which doughnuts to get, I invited her to go ahead of me. As a result, I witnessed her entire interaction with the staff. Before ordering, the customer presented a coupon and specifically asked whether it was valid. The employee took the coupon to the back to confirm, then returned and told her that it was. The customer then asked several clarifying questions about how the offer worked, including whether the doughnuts were preselected, whether she could choose the doughnuts in the second dozen, and whether certain selections required an additional charge. The employee went to the back a second time to clarify. After she returned, another employee also came over and confirmed that the doughnuts in the second box were not preselected and that the customer could choose which ones she wanted. She was told the first dozen would be glazed and she could select the second dozen, with an upcharge for certain varieties. At this point, the customer had not assumed anything. She had presented the coupon before ordering, asked multiple questions, and had the offer confirmed by two Krispy Kreme employees. Based on those instructions, she then spent approximately 10 to 15 minutes selecting the individual doughnuts for her second dozen. Only when she reached the register did a manager, Jose, become involved. He reviewed the same coupon and told her it was not valid for the order she had just assembled and that it was only valid for the specific assortment pictured. The customer calmly explained that she had asked about the coupon before ordering and had repeatedly confirmed what she was allowed to select. She reasonably asked whether an exception could be made because she had simply followed the instructions given to her by Krispy Kreme employees. Jose refused, saying the company was "very strict" about its coupons. I completely understand that mistakes happen. Jose explained that one of the employees was only on her second day. But this was no longer simply a new employee misunderstanding a coupon. A second employee had also stepped into the conversation and confirmed how the coupon could be used. More importantly, this is exactly the situation in which a manager should take responsibility for the store's mistake, honor what the customer had been told, and then correct the misunderstanding with the employees afterward. Instead, the customer was expected to bear the consequences of Krispy Kreme's error. By this point, approximately six customers were standing in line watching the exchange. I eventually spoke up because I had witnessed the entire interaction. The customer was not rude, demanding, aggressive, or trying to take advantage of the promotion. She had gone out of her way to make sure she understood the terms before ordering. This wasn't a difficult customer trying to bend the rules. This was a customer who did exactly what she was supposed to do: ask first, clarify the details, receive confirmation from two employees, and follow their instructions. I worked as a waitress for 10 years, so I understand that there are often two sides to a customer service issue. That is also why this bothered me so much. Good customer service is not about never making mistakes. It is about how you handle them when they happen. A competent manager could have resolved this quickly by apologizing, honoring what his employees had already confirmed, and addressing the policy internally afterward. Instead, Jose chose to make the customer absorb the inconvenience and frustration caused by his staff's mistake while an entire line of customers watched. If this location has surveillance footage, I strongly encourage Krispy Kreme management to review it. You will see exactly what happened and how calmly and reasonably the customer handled the situation. I was so disgusted by what I witnessed that I walked out rather than buy the Pokémon doughnuts I had specifically come in to purchase. I regularly make large Krispy Kreme purchases for my children's school and for work, but after watching how this customer was treated, I have no desire to continue giving my business to a company that considers this acceptable customer service. Mistakes happen. Refusing to take responsibility for them is a management decision. In this case, that decision reflected extremely poorly on both Jose and Krispy Kreme. read more

Price for a split dozen (original glazed & original cake) $1.80 per donut $21.50 per dozen. I ordered 2 dozen through the drive-through but couldn't understand anything that was being said due to how fast/low & strong accent of the person taking the order. I handed my card to the person at the window & started my 1hr drive back home excited to treat my family. I snuck an original glazed out, just as great as I remembered, midway I took the strawberry glazed with sprinkle out, took a bite & was disturbed at the thick layer of double glazed they had done (the original glaze with a second layer of strawberry glaze, way too much!). Got home and was disappointed with the intensity of the sugary glaze on the cake donuts too. Wow, bummer, Kristy Keene used to be a favorite family treat but tbh Safeway & FredMyer have way better donuts for a fraction of the price. read more

I love Krispy Kreme and come to this store often. As someone who loves a fresh, warm donut, when I see the hot light on I can't pass by without going in. When I went in today, the employee told me the donuts were not hot but warm. I was expecting an original glazed donut but instead he gave me a pumpkin spice donut. He insisted it was their freshest donut and would still be warm but it was not warm at all. If I was going to get a cold donut, I would have bought one I actually wanted. The pumpkin spice donut in my opinion was disgusting and such a waste of a trip, especially since we waited in line for fifteen minutes. I'm so disappointed in this whole experience and don't understand why they would put the hot light on if the donuts are not even warm. That's literally false advertising and this isn't the first time this has happened. read more

Omg terrible first off they didn't laugh at my moms McDonald's joke because McDonald's ice cream machine is always broken and there icee machine was broken so she made a joke. They didn't laugh. Workers at this Krispy Kreme are not very caring about service or cleanliness. I keep hoping something will change because sometimes a good ol' KK donut just sounds good. But when they can't even keep the bathrooms clean when there are full shelves of donuts and no customers that is concerning of where else they don't bother cleaning. This visit was Oct 26, 2025. I walked out without any donuts due to the gross bathroom and appearance of sitting area. read more

The service that Marshall provided us was great even though my order was a little messed up. I got the wrong drink, but he made that right before I left, but I do need to go back and get another doughnut because the one I ordered was not filled with cream, but it was filled with a lemon Something that I didn't order. It was supposed to be the regular vanilla cream inside, but it wasn't so it wasn't the guy at the window Marshall. It was whoever filled them in the back, so even though the ambience through the drive-through wasn't the best, but my customer service was as for the donuts Yeah they weren't really that good and I will be going back to get my filled donut next time I'm in town again. The best thing about this visit was the customer service definitely not the donuts. They were pretty basic. They were definitely lacking Mapel and again I got the wrong filling in the inside. Yeah they do have a parking lot. That's good so parking is not a problem. You can even eat outside on rainy days I mean on sunny days. read more

I ordered a dozen glazed at the drive through on March 24, 2026. I was told the card reader at the window wasn't working and she asked if she could take my card to the counter reader. I said yes. I had never had an issue at any Krispy Kreme before. She came back and handed me my card and receipt. It's on me for not looking at the receipt at the time, but when I got back to my office, I saw she charged 4 other doughnuts on top of my order. I am now monitoring my card for fraudulent charges on top of the 4 doughnuts. I feel betrayed. Don't go to this store and don't ever let your card out of your sight! read more

Who says no to a Krispy Kreme!? This location is always consistent with fresh donuts, friendly staff, and added bonus of a drive thru. On this visit I tried their limited edition Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts, and they did not disappoint I ordered via their app, and my custom dozen donuts were ready for pick up in less than 10 minutes. It didn't specify if I had to pick up my order inside of the shop or if I could go through drive thru but, I boldly went forth through the drive thru and was able to pick them up with no issues, they just asked for the name on the order. The only forewarning to this location is that due to it being within a plaza packed full of other popular chains (such a Panda Express, Cold Stone, Qdoba and Ivar's) sometimes getting in and out can be a bit congested but, the patience is always worth the donuts read more

I have never had a bad Kristy Kreme donut. I don't know how much more I can say about it :)

Have to say sometimes the specialty donuts are stale, it is clear they are leftover from the day before but the regular glazed are fresh as always. My complaint is this store is so SO DIRTY, it has gotten worse over the years, both bathrooms were a mess but one in particular should not be open. It's not just the bathrooms but the actual store, tables, chairs, floors are always dirty, no napkins put out, no items for your coffee, best if this store was just a drive through only. Staff is very nice but I called ahead for a question, they answered the phone 'hello', kind of odd, confirmed I was called Krispy Kreme, I am sure it was an honest mistake. Pretty obvious the owner has never stepped foot in this store. read more

I remember Krispy Kreme being better back in the day. My old office was down the street from here and for holidays and special events, we would have two dozen donuts for the staff. It definitely made the work day more tolerable and us fatter. But it was nice to have. In my most recent visit though, it seemed lackluster. While dropping off masks in the area, I swung by here to get myself a pick-me-up. I needed coffee and what goes better with coffee than a donut? Although they are not open for dine-in, they have a drive-thru, which makes getting your goods all the easier. They even play music at the drive-thru! I ordered an iced coffee and a cake batter donut. When asked if I wanted sugar and cream with the iced coffee, I just asked for a dash of cream and was surprised to see how much cream they put in! Instead of a brown color you'd expect from an iced coffee, the drink was nearly white from the cream! Geez. I thought to myself that when I got home I'd add coffee to the drink; but unfortunately, it was not salvageable. At least the cake batter donut was better. It's not my favorite donut in Issaquah, but it was fine. It would've been better with coffee. I like two other donut spots in Issaquah better than KK, so this one isn't at the top of my list for when I want a donut around here. And it's far from when I need coffee, which is a shame because coffee and a donut seems like the perfect pairing. At least they have a drive-thru, for when you need a good ol' glaze that seems to never disappoint. read more

I actually never tried any of their donuts except the original glazed, so decided to venture out. We got the lemon cream filled, maple, and the Oreo one. It's only drive thru service but it was pretty fast and easy. The lemon cream filled was probably the better of the two in my opinion. The tartness help cut the sweetness so it was nice. The Oreo was a little too sweet for me. It was cool though that it was filled with Oreo filling on the inside and decorated with Oreo crumbles on the outside. The maple was pretty standard. I actually went home and added bacon on top of it and that made it even better. One thing though, all the donuts had that familiar soft texture that they are known for and that was very satisfying. Maybe I'll go and try their cake donuts one day to see if they are just as good read more

Customer Service is truly a thing of the past! I ordered the Harry Potter donuts online on Wednesday 9/10/25 for pickup on Friday 9/12/25. The order processed through and said it would be ready on Friday 9/12/25. I drove 2 hours to pick them up as a special treat for my kids. When I got to the store, the young lady behind the counter had a hard time looking me in the eye and said my order was never made. Said they ran out of ingredients to make them. I have several issues with this: if you couldn't make my order, either pick up the phone and call me that you couldn't make it or email me saying it was cancelled so i don't waste 4 hours round trip to pick these up. It would only take 30 seconds. She said she could cancel the order (there was nothing else on the order, so of course it would be cancelled) but didn't offer anything else for this major lapse in customer service. Another employee (maybe manager?) came out, took a look at it, cancelled it and walked back to the back. I also filled out a survey and requested they contact me immediately. Nothing so far. I guess I'm old school, but this type of horrendous customer service would never fly in the past. Some business' actually care about their customers and reputation, sadly this one does not. read more

I came by to try the new mini assorted doughnuts before they stopped selling them (it said limited time, available until Jan 31st online). I've always like Krispy Kreme better than most donut places because I liked the texture of their donuts better. I liked that they made minis because I don't have much of a sweet tooth and one regular sized donut can sometimes be too much for me. There are four different flavors for the assorted minis, not including the original glazed mini. I got two of each. They were a bit too sweet for me with all the frosting, but I like the flavor and texture. Hope they come out with other new mini flavors. read more

This location is good, I think better than the SODO one to be honest. I'm super in to the seasonal doughnuts, like the Christmas ones...dang, those were so good. I know they don't carry them anymore but that red velvet filled one was literally SO good. You can't go wrong with KK only because it's always so fresh and soft (and yeah, sometimes your teeth hurt cause the sweetness is intense). They recently released a new mini dessert donut box, and it is super cute. The doughnuts are MINI aka you can eat all 4 and it might be equivalent to like 2 regular sized ones. Krispy Kreme always hits the spot and does so efficiently (in both time and money). We often get a dozen regular glazed and then a dozen of fun or seasonal flavors. Ordering online is a breeze too! Pretty standard doughnuts, overly sugary. Nothing that's going to make you feel like heaven. I like these donuts over top pot and other donut places since krispy's is not hard doughy but light and airy. I usually get the original, chocolate, strawberry, can't go wrong with those. I don't usually get the other custom ones like cake flavor and berry etc. Eat it fresh. If you're going to store it, ensure you seal it properly in a container to avoid the moisture from escaping.
