    Unkempt bathrooms

Workers at this Krispy Kreme are not very caring about service or cleanliness. I keep hoping something will change because sometimes a good ol' KK donut just sounds good. But when they can't even keep the bathrooms clean when there are full shelves of donuts and no customers that is concerning of where else they don't bother cleaning. This visit was Oct 26, 2025. I walked out without any donuts due to the gross bathroom and appearance of sitting area.

Preordered donuts were ready when we arrived. Service was quick and friendly. Donuts were all fresh- sweetness goes a loooooong way though. Cake donuts were my favorite from this batch and shared the rest with the family.

I stopped by Krispy Kreme for delicious doughnuts. The ambiance was welcoming and as expected, it's busy during the holidays. The staff did a great job to multi task even though they were short staffed. Thanks for being open on Christmas Eve.

The food (doughnuts) was fresh and delicious. The service that I received at Lake Samammish location was okay, could been better. A doughnuts shop ambiance.

Stopped by Krispy Kreme for a half dozen assorted doughnuts sounds like a delightful treat after lunch with friends! It's always fun to share a variety of flavors and enjoy the sweet, fluffy goodness of their famous doughnuts.

Glazed donut is best option but the donut is ok. I can name one place in Renton that has better donuts. There was no one in the shop so I was helped right away. I ordered online.

Have to say sometimes the specialty donuts are stale, it is clear they are leftover from the day before but the regular glazed are fresh as always. My complaint is this store is so SO DIRTY, it has gotten worse over the years, both bathrooms were a mess but one in particular should not be open. It's not just the bathrooms but the actual store, tables, chairs, floors are always dirty, no napkins put out, no items for your coffee, best if this store was just a drive through only. Staff is very nice but I called ahead for a question, they answered the phone 'hello', kind of odd, confirmed I was called Krispy Kreme, I am sure it was an honest mistake. Pretty obvious the owner has never stepped foot in this store.

Who says no to a Krispy Kreme!? This location is always consistent with fresh donuts, friendly staff, and added bonus of a drive thru. On this visit I tried their limited edition Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts, and they did not disappoint I ordered via their app, and my custom dozen donuts were ready for pick up in less than 10 minutes. It didn't specify if I had to pick up my order inside of the shop or if I could go through drive thru but, I boldly went forth through the drive thru and was able to pick them up with no issues, they just asked for the name on the order. The only forewarning to this location is that due to it being within a plaza packed full of other popular chains (such a Panda Express, Cold Stone, Qdoba and Ivar's) sometimes getting in and out can be a bit congested but, the patience is always worth the donuts

There are a dozen donut shop on every corner but Krispy Kreme are the only donuts in this world that are soooo.. delicious that I don't mind the calories associated with it Love these soft warm fried dough rounds - pure happiness!! I wish they would sell a less sugary version of these. The staff is really nice and I really enjoyed my dozen orginial glazed donuts . Simply and sweet but delicious

Iced coffee w/ way too much cream

I remember Krispy Kreme being better back in the day. My old office was down the street from here and for holidays and special events, we would have two dozen donuts for the staff. It definitely made the work day more tolerable and us fatter. But it was nice to have. In my most recent visit though, it seemed lackluster. While dropping off masks in the area, I swung by here to get myself a pick-me-up. I needed coffee and what goes better with coffee than a donut? Although they are not open for dine-in, they have a drive-thru, which makes getting your goods all the easier. They even play music at the drive-thru! I ordered an iced coffee and a cake batter donut. When asked if I wanted sugar and cream with the iced coffee, I just asked for a dash of cream and was surprised to see how much cream they put in! Instead of a brown color you'd expect from an iced coffee, the drink was nearly white from the cream! Geez. I thought to myself that when I got home I'd add coffee to the drink; but unfortunately, it was not salvageable. At least the cake batter donut was better. It's not my favorite donut in Issaquah, but it was fine. It would've been better with coffee. I like two other donut spots in Issaquah better than KK, so this one isn't at the top of my list for when I want a donut around here. And it's far from when I need coffee, which is a shame because coffee and a donut seems like the perfect pairing. At least they have a drive-thru, for when you need a good ol' glaze that seems to never disappoint.

This place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe with plenty of seating to sit back and actually enjoy your drink (bonus points for offering real "for here" cups!). I had a savory biscuit with cheese and herbs that was great and the perfect pairing with my cortado. There were tons of other tempting options too, from pastries to bagels and more. I don't love how greasy their croissants and sandwiches are. I wish they had better breakfasts or served food with protein that was less oily. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a sandwich I've gotten from here, and I swear I try them at least every other month. The vibes totally make up for their gross sammies and are my favourite thing about this place!! I love coming here for a reading date or to craft and yap with friends. It feels like such a community oriented space and I love getting to enjoy it with my friends. I just wish they were open later than 6pm.

Inside, the shop is very cute, with pastel decore, velvet seats and tables, and plenty of places for photo ops. I ordered the ube matcha latte and the seasonal pandan donut, which were both good. I love ube, so was glad to know that they make their own ube flavoring here, which was the best part of the drink. I also liked the pandan donut, but it was very sweet and rich. The menu offers a lot to choose from, with different drinks and treats, including those you can see in the case, such as the ube cookie, ube basque cheesecake, etc. Glad to know Bobae has another spot on the Eastside, making it easy for me to get to.

However,…read moreafter we placed our orders, the space gradually filled with customers which gave us some comfort. The service here was quick, the ambiance casual, and the food is very satisfying! The roast duck was very tender, and the rice and bok choy well cooked and seasoned. The Singapore noodles had a stronger curry flavor than I was used to, and was good. The true surprise was the salted fish chicken with eggplant. I've never had a dish like this before, and the fish smell was a little pungent. However, the taste wasn't fishy at all and had a great umami flavor. The eggplant was also tender and cooked beautifully. This is the type of food that is very comforting and makes me want to eat more even though I'm full! I wish the portions were bigger considering its price point. Of the three dishes, I can only find myself justifying the eggplant to be worth its price because it is so unique. The Singapore noodles and roast duck I believe I can find for a better value elsewhere. Though I won't be a regular customer, this was a nice find with good food!

I read some positive feedback about Famous Kitchen in the past. While I was in Issaquah, I decided…read moreto dine there. The place looked new-ish in a small plaza; several other restaurants are within sight. I yelp-checked every single one of them. All of them hover at about 3.5 stars, plus/minus some. Hmmm. Anyway, I kept the original plans and entered. They have a Chinese BBQ area that was being cleaned for the night, which makes sense. It was nearly 7pm on a Sunday. The menu had mostly ordinary Cantonese varieties with several less common ingredients like fermented bean curd, salted fish, and bitter melon. Always a good sign. When I fished recommendations from the server requesting good 'uncommon' dishes (and I spoke in Cantonese), he still pointed to the 'normal' dish. Fine, I stayed along those lines, too. The food is alright. The prices are at Eastside level. This place is worthy if you don't want to drive out of Issaquah (to Bellevue or CID). If I wasn't in Issaquah, I would not purposely drive here. The Food: Curry Beef Brisket Rice 咖喱牛腩饭, $17.99 - 3.5 Stars Tender-enough beef brisket and daikon cover a massive amount of rice. The curry is thick and pooled just right. The flavor of the curry met expectations. I wish Chinese restaurants understand it is okay to give an appropriate amount of rice instead of a massive amount to avoid waste. House Special Fried Noodle 招牌炒面/粉, $20.99 - 3.5 Stars This noodle dish surprised me that it is closer to 'soy sauce king chow mein' 豉油皇炒麵 that happens to have additional ingredients. Few restaurants serve it this way. Not a good or bad thing per se. The ingredients tend to heavily absorb the soy sauce, and the flavor profile becomes a bit too uniform. On the contrary, some may find this method more flavorful. Salt &Pepper Chicken Wings 脆皮炸鸡翅, $18.99 - 4 Stars These wings ended up being my favorite dish. They have an excellent crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Good flavor, too. They are closer to 3.5 Stars. Nothing in the overall experience stood out to round up the overall rating.
