I have been here a few times. Usually am pretty happy with my coffee and the service is usually nice and friendly esp in mornings. Last time I came was a younger gal with freckles who was nice - I ordered a drink with white coffee and white chocolate and I got regular espresso. It was fine and the shots actually tasted good so I wasn't mad. This time I came at 4:54 google says they're open til 6. I actually waited in downtown traffic to get there because I really wanted a coffee from here since I'm not always in the area. I pull in and I notice the open sign is off on this side but wasn't on other. I pull up and the same younger girl from last time opens the window and says they've just closed. I look down now 4:55. I'm like well that's a weird time to close. So I ask what time they close and she says 5 o'clock. Look. I was a barista for 7 years. I get cleaning up but I always left a side of the machine til close. Hell I would have been okay if she said I just cleaned my machines but I can offer energy, tea etc they don't even require clean up. If you're open til 5 be open til 5. If google and maps says 6 please fix it because I went thru traffic wasting time trying to support your business. I wouldn't have tried to make it minutes before close if that was accurate. And employee girl- do better. For your boss and for your customers... if you're open til 5 be open til 5. You can manage your time efficiently to have it closed and cleaned. But also just care about the business and people. Not just about getting out of there. Trust me the world notices. read more

While Washington is doing well with its vaccinations, it's still not a great look for anyone in food services to not be masked up, especially if they are working a drive through window (we walked up, though). Great employees, great tasting coffee but not a five star experience due to menu confusion and prices. The menu said they had granitas so I ordered a 20oz. Granitas are hard to find due to them being premade in a special slushy machine that keeps icy bits moving within the coffee. Granitas are typically inexpensive as well. We'll.....They do not have granitas. They blended my mocha in a blender until it was smooth like a milkshake and then charged me $7.11. So yeah they DON'T have granitas and they'll charge you a lot for a blended drink read more

I haven't tried the coffee here, but I ordered a smoothie and it was pretty terrible - basically just juice with some icy fruit purée stirred in. The barista was friendly but service is pretty slow with just the one worker on duty, so between all that and the credit card fee, I am definitely not motivated to ever come back. read more

This is a drive up espresso stand. The nice thing about this drive up espresso stand is that it's in a great location and easy to get in and out. Even though Front Street can be busy, the drivers are nice and let you in and on you can go on your way. They offer, boxed oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches (pre made). Had a great visit to this coffee shack and I'm saddened that I don't have this same company in my town. We were visiting Issaquah and this little business is a place we'd stop at again. The breakfast croissant was delicious with bacon, egg, and Tillamook cheddar. I also enjoyed the best iced Caramel macchiatto. I liked that they mixed it from the start and the coffee didn't taste burnt like the chain store coffee. I was a little concerned by the name that it was a "breastaraunt" type coffee shack but it was not. Enjoyed the coffee, food, and service immensely. read more

I enjoy coming here. I don't when in a hurry however. Only one person working and the wait times can get long. After that, they use delicious beans and the treats are great. Big breakfast sandwiches and they are very tasty. The baristas themselves have been personable and friendly. It's not a hangout cafe with a drive through window and another window for pedestrians. The baristas are all very friendly and greet regulars by name, and clearly know a thing or two about making drinks! I've never used their drive thru as they are a short walk away, but generally you won't have to wait long to get service. Be sure to get a punch card! Moving out of Cap Hill to Issaquah was something I was looking forward to but also sad for me. I have routines and "my coffee people," after all. I chat with these people on a daily basis. A good barista can make or break a lot in my world. :P These ladies made living in Issaquah effortless and such a breeze for me. I admit, I was not thrilled to try new places ... I grudgingly stopped by one day and then was pleasantly surprised. Kelsey (sp?) asked me what I wanted. I said I wasn't sure but could she surprise me with something warm and spicy like fall flavors. She did and it became my signature drink. Almost every day, I walk to the stand, or end my running route there, and chat with the owner and the other baristas. Down to earth, happy to serve and no bullshit? I was a Bauhaus fan through and through... These people give my all time favorite coffee place a run for its money. I'm so, so glad I tried Koffee Sutra. They welcomed me into Issaquah with their bad ass selves and I'm ever grateful. Their drinks never disappoint. Neither do they as people.
