When I'm in the food for great coffee, I come here vs. Starbucks. The coffee is smooth & bold without being bitter and strong. My go to is an Americano. And surprisingly the lady remembered me on my second visit and asked if I wanted an Americano. Great touch of customer service. The bagels are fresh & bigger than what I would get at Starbucks too. And more bagel options is a plus for me. I get why people love their small coffee stands here. They are quaint, friendly, & so much better than the big guys. read more

I was coming off I5 south at 7am and wanted something to kick start my time. After typing in "drive thru coffee" Apple Maps took me here. It is a cute coffee shack tucked into a neighborhood just a couple minutes from the freeway exit. There wasn't much traffic in the morning which was nice. The service was nice. I ordered a white chocolate mocha. The coffee tasted a little burnt I think if I lived in the neighborhood this would be a fun place to go to in the mornings but since it's out of my normal route the convenience of it being a drive thru is something that would bring me back again read more

What a lovely "find" - It's harder to find a small independent coffee stand these days. The owner is great! My iced Americano was well made, with a side of cheerful conversation. Easy location to get on and off the road. Wish it were on my way to work but nice to visit when I go to the Newport Hills Dog Park a mile or so away. My wife and I stop here on a regular. Jessica always greats us with a smile, knows our coffee favs which always makes for a great weekend stop. She alone sets the tone for the ambiance of this drive through coffee stop and her coffee is always made to perfection. Skip Starbucks and make the trip to Newcastle Espresso. Our family goes to this coffee stand every day, and we have for many years. The coffee is consistently great, not bitter like some coffee shops! Even when new Baristas come on board, they are well-trained and understand the value of being genuine and super nice to the customers. I won't go anywhere else unless we are out of town. It's like watching CHEERS on TV, if you're old enough to remember it! They always came for the drinks, but stayed because they felt like family. That's Newcastle Espresso for ya! read more

It's really hard for me to give a small local business such a low rating but both times I have been to this stand, I have not had a really warm welcome. I guess if you are not a regular, which I am not, you won't get that here. The owner seemed more interested in her conversation with her friend then actually helping me. Her friend was very rude and made some wise cracks which is ridiculous and uncalled for. Coffee is decent but seems a little on the higher priced side. read more

I live in Newcastle and had to give this place a shot. My drink was very good and not too sweet or milky for a white mocha. And the barista was very nice but the drink was just too pricey compared to other places. I really wanted to try something outside of the big chain coffee shops and this place was decent. read more

Expensive and bitter coffee because the drain all espresso shots into reused paper cups. Espresso should always be drained into glass or a cup that already has milk or flavor- something the catch the coffee so it doesn't sour. Waste of time and money I've given it three try's now and every time terrible. Never again. read more

Tried their Irish creme mocha, macadamia latte, and peppermint mocha today. We walked in but they didn't have a menu inside so we had to walk to their drive thru area which was cold to read their menu and order. Drinks were perfected but I didn't understand their indoor purpose especially for newcomers on a rainy cold day. Friendly service! read more

The coffee is great and although they only see me sporadically on weekends the girls know just what I drink. Great snacks too!
