I have this thing about chairs and ambiance. Love their chairs! And you walk in and it definitely makes you not want to get takeout because you just want to sit and sip in this beautiful environment. The mocha tastes like chocolate milk (I know it basically is with espresso, but you should be able to taste some espresso at least) And we ordered the sausage and cheese which we were informed was a sausage link, and instead we ended up with what feels more like a pepperoni pocket. There were quite a few people with laptops considering it was a Saturday afternoon, but plenty of seating regardless. We ordered a golden latte, which had ginger turmeric and oat milk among other things. My son had a steamed milk. And we ordered a smoked salmon croissant. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon at 11:30 a.m. and the place was definitely busy, but luckily my friend and I were able to grab seats. Right as you walk in, you can see how well they've designed the space. We both loved the decorations, and it's laid out perfectly given the limited space, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers a great amount of items to choose from--drinks, food, baked goods, and desserts. I ordered a ham and cheese pastry item and an iced latte, both of which were excellent. I already know I want to come back to try more, especially the Turkish delights! The service here is exceptional, especially from who I believe was the owner. He truly went above and beyond! He greeted every person who came in, made sure all the guests were having a great experience, and genuinely thanked everyone who left. His interactions felt authentic and welcoming. Food was good, I give it 4/5. I had the avocado toast and pistachio cheesecake, which was way too sweet so I only took a few bites. The rose latte was cute but the toppings was hard to get through, it was pretty hard & disrupted my flow of just trying to drink it. Service was very casual, like ordering at Taco Bell. I asked the cashier something and she didn't know. I asked if anybody else they're new, so she went to go see but then disappeared for a while. You also have to go get your food and drinks from the front which can create traffic if other people are also getting their food and drinks and are trying to order at the same time. Food was decent and the owners are very hospitable and make it a priority to check in and see if there's anything you need. Came by on a weekend morning around 10am and found the place fairly busy with a mix of families, small groups and a couple individuals working on laptops. They've created a modern yet comfy seating area with a mix of benches along the outer wall and regular tables and chairs, seating roughed around 30. Nice touch to include board games for some activities too. The baked goods (both savory and sweet), pastries and cakes are shown in their glass display cabinets, they carry some traditional favorites like borek (a flaky pastry rolled in a spiral with a choice of a couple different mixed meats stuffed inside), simit (Turkish bagels rolled in roasted sesame), lokum (Turkish delight - nougat mixed with nuts and sweet dried fruits), honey cake (a sponge cake soaked in honey syrup). They also have items like avocado toast, shashuka and other breakfasty foods. A variety of hot and cold drinks including Turkish coffee and tea are available. We got the following and dined in: - Turkish coffee $3.99 hm a bit watery compared with what we're used to from cafes in NYC and Istanbul. Served in a beautiful coffee cup with traditional Turkish ceramic floral design. - Latte $5.50: pretty standard and good. - Golden (Tumeric) Latte $6.50(?): I enjoyed the tumeric flavor, a good balance not too strong or mild. - Beef borek $9.99: pretty good, flaky crust with well-flavored minced beef of the inside, would order again! - Simit $3.99: a little on the drier side though I feel like that's how they usually are, they're kinda like a sesame-covered bagel in appearance though the texture is a little like the inside of a pretzel. - Blueberry mousse cake $7.99: pretty tasty, mousse was light and not too sweet, the inside has pieces of peaches in the middle (which was a little surprising) and sitting on a thin layer of chocolate sponge if I recall correctly. Located on the SE corner of Harrington Ave NE and local Route 900, there's parking directly adjacent the cafe enough for probably around 15-20 cars. A couple bathrooms are available and decorated nicely inside with a faux greenery wall. Would definitely come back to try some other items! read more

I had NO idea such a cute little cafe was only 3 min away from me. The overall vibe of this place is so relaxing and welcoming, I could stay here for hours. Staff were very sweet and the food was great! A little pricey, but worth a try. I had the iced strawberry latte, which was super tasty! Just make sure you mix as a lot of the strawberry syrup sinks to the bottom. The eclair was tasty as well with yummy custard and rich chocolate. Everything came out pretty fast. Came to meet a friend. The restaurant was pretty crowded which made me excited to try it more. I ordered a strawberry matcha and lamb wrap. The wrap was so good! The matcha was good but better if you shake/mix it well. I loved the real strawberry preserve they used in it. The wrap came with a sauce that was ok but better plain. This place has been on my list since they first opened. It's a cute little place once you walk in. Plenty of seating and a comfy and cozy vibe. Their selections of pastries are set out for that in the case. I ordered rice pudding, the chocolate cake, blueberry cheesecake and two chocolate croissants. My favorite item was the chocolate croissant. It was flaky and tender. However, everything else for me just didn't agree with my taste buds. The chocolate profiterole cake was too dense for me and the blueberry cheesecake overwhelmed with too much sweetness. However I was definitely the odd man out because my family did enjoy those items. The rice pudding was nothing to rave about either. Nobody was a fan. I would definitely recommend trying this place but I myself will probably not return. read more

I will start by saying it seems like the owner is very proud and happy with his cafe. It was nice to see the guy working looking like this was his passion finally come to fruition. We honestly tried like 5 or 6 different things. It's a nice Cafe with lots of seating. It was really busy when we came though. It appears to have been adopted well by the locals for being so new. There were people on their laptops and a few different groups seemingly on a work meeting there. My friend and I played some UNO, (there are misc games around the walls to utilize while you have a coffee or pastry) and the man at the counter glanced at us fondly like his calling in life was right here and he was finally content . Overall not a bad cafe for catching up with someone over a cup of really strong coffee. Personally not my type of close personal atmosphere, as the tables were just a few feet apart and it was quite busy, but the girl I was with said she loved the vibe. Love all of the new Turkish cafes and bakeries that have sprung up in recent years. This one is a great example. Plenty of options in the case including baklava, tres leches (don't know why this is a Turkish thing but they all carry it), tiramisu (ditto), amazing Turkish delight, and other varieties of cakes. They also had some savory pastries. We bought a few treats including the baklava and they were all delicious. I wish we had bought some of the Turkish delight because those are one of my favorite treats. We came over while waiting on our food from a nearby restaurant, but we'll definitely come back to try other treats from this cafe. read more

I love this place the more I visit! Their Turkish eggs are amazing!! So creamy, yogurty, and rich with the right amount of garlic. Very cute cafe!! Had breakfast there with my family and we were impressed. Service was very friendly. My daughter had the salmon croissant, my son had mini pancakes and my husband and both had the American breakfast. My kids loved their food they did not need a box to take home as they finished it. As for me, I was amazed by all the flavors on my plate. Everything was perfectly seasoned and seasoned differently than any American breakfast I've had. I also had a rose latte and that was superb and my daughter had the strawberry matcha which she enjoyed as well. And the pastries!!! We got some to take home and they were ALL good. Lovely interior! It's so floral and very aesthetic. I got the Berry Orange Matcha and a Borek with ground beef as well as borek with spinach and cheese. The berry orange matcha was good and interesting as it was unique and I never seen it elsewhere before. I did think it would have milk in it or me a latte type but still good regardless. The portions for the boreks were alright for its price. About $10 each. The spinach and cheese is my favorite. Highly recommend that one. Randomly came across a TikTok about this place while in the area and I just had to check it out! Such an aesthetically cute new cafe, love the vibe of it all especially the amount of comfortable seating including the outdoor area. Great spot for remote work, studying or just catching up with friends. I got an iced strawberry matcha with pistachio syrup and it was probably one of the smoothest matcha drinks I've had in a while. The strawberry and pistachio flavor complimented each other so well without overpowering the drink. I tried the tiramisu and it was also good - not too sweet but not too bitter either - enough to fulfill a sweet tooth. Service was super friendly but a little slow - I had to wait a few minutes until someone came from the back to take my order. I did appreciate the employee asking if i wanted to customize my drink. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the savory meat pastries especially now that I know this place is HALAL - which is always a bonus for me. Service wasn't very engaging - the person at the cashier was taking care of another order but didn't even acknowledge us when we were patiently waiting for them to be done up at the front. I ended up trying the strawberry matcha latte w/ coconut milk. The matcha did taste a little watered down, but the strawberry flavor made up for it.
