I stumbled upon this place in pioneer square and had a wonderful meal! The restaurant is super cute and the service was fantastic! Try this place!! You will not be disappointed!

I am so glad I came here for breakfast on my solo trip to Seattle this past weekend. Though it was a Saturday morning (10am), the line was surprisingly short with only 2 parties ahead of me. You enter the café and order first, so make sure you browse through the menus they have on the right counter to get a better idea of what you'd like. As I was waiting in line, I saw them restocking their baguettes and it took everything within me to not buy one just to try! All the pastries by the front look amazing, but knowing I had the underground tour (which is RIGHT next door) after breakfast, I couldn't necessarily order with just my eyes. I eventually opted with their seasonal mademoiselle yuzu sweet treat and Mr. Breakfast 2.0. I added avocado with the house-made brioche bun and the size was so petite yet perfect for 1 serving! The yuzu treat was FANTASTIC and has this citrusy cream and meringue that's to die for. To get a caffeine fix, I ordered a regular latte with oatmilk--not sweet at all but did the job to get something warm in me on a chilly day! There are about 10 small tables you can dine inside for, but it's a bit difficult to snag one since they fill up quick! There's a lot more seating outside if you don't mind, which I did anyway especially with the great weather that day.

Love love this place!!! the most beautiful serving dishes, delicious food. Just love it. One thing I wish that would change, is that in Madame Yuzu they are using a new jam which is now brown and liquidy like molasses adding a slightly bit bitter flavor to my favorite tart. I wish they would go back to using the one they used originally. We try to come here every few weeks.

Went on a Sunday and got an oatmilk latte, Mr. Breakfast w Avocado and Casse-Noisette. Everything was good! Service was quick. The person getting your order and the servers were all efficient and cordial! I also got a box of palais de thes - detox tea. Feels like an authentic parisian cafe except that it's in pioneer square! Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu!

Everything was marvelous here! The outside patio is dog friendly which was awesome in winter. The service is lovely and friendly. The food came out really fast too actually. It's a fantastic, authentically Parisian cafe in almost every way. I would 100% recommend and go back, especially with my pup this summer.

All I can say is wow. This is a must try place in Seattle. I heard a lot about this place via Instagram so decided to give it a try. I went here twice before able to give a fair rating. This is a small shop in pioneer square. They have a few seatings but it's also small so not good for big groups. Parking is street if you can find them. The owner of the shop is the person taking your order and he very nice and has a strong French accent :) Food wise: Croque monsieur 5/5 it doesn't feel heavy and feels clean and healthy. Love the flavor on this and the texture is amazing. Get it with egg! Terrine 4/5 -- this is for the adventurous eater. This is similar to the vietnamese pate but the flavor is a lot stronger. It comes with a side of butter and some bread. I didn't care for the bread as much. The combo of butter and pate was delicious. I actually spread it on the croissant that I had and wow, soooo good. Hot chocolate 3/5 -- pretty standard Regular croissant 4.5/5 -- feels soft but actually flaky, needs a little more butter flavor though. Kouig aman 4.5/5 -- love the layers, needs a little more sugar. Texture was perfect Cinnamon cruffin 4.5/5 -- almost like a pull apart bread but still have layers, flavor was good. Hazelnut croissant / apple turnover (oui oui) / beignet 4/5 --- really good flavor, soft and light. Carre verdome 10/5 --- one of the best cakes I had in a really long time. I love the crunch, the soft silky texture and rich chocolate flavor. Price was also very reasonable which kind of surprise me given how everything is inflated these days. Overall, this should be on your list to go if you're heading down to Seattle

This place is super cute! Definitely reminds me of the cafes in France. I finally got the chance to try it after hearing about it for a while, and came on a slightly rainy weekend. The staff were all super sweet and friendly, and they have a great selection of baked goods and other items as well. I ended up getting a classic croissant, since that's what I tend to always get when trying a new spot. Theirs was gigantic and was so reasonably priced - you won't really find this elsewhere in Seattle! I do wish they warmed it up for you, but nonetheless it was still pretty good. I will say for the texture, this croissant won't blow you away as it leans on the softer side overall (rather than the crispy flaky layers). However, for flavor this one is absolutely delicious - the buttery-ness of this one is outstanding, and the flavor is so so good. My friend also got the canele which I took a bite out of, and it was fantastic. I've never had a canele before but this one definitely stood out - it was the perfect crispy exterior with a soft and chewy and flavorful middle. Highly recommend getting that! Overall, a very cute spot with good vibes friendly service and yummy pastries. Highly recommend!

I finally made it here after avoiding the crazy lines since opening. I'm not someone who enjoys waiting in line -- I usually stick to places that take reservations -- but this spot doesn't take any, so I just had to go for it. This place is a true breakfast‑and‑bakery gem. The baguettes were flying off the shelves the moment they came out. All the pastries looked amazing, but we wanted something more filling, so we ordered the croque‑monsieur and the quiche Lorraine. Both were delicious -- the quiche was soft, creamy, and savory, and the croque‑monsieur had that perfect ham‑and‑cheese comfort. And the mimosa here was surprisingly great. Even the side salad was fresh. Finding a seat is the tricky part. You basically have to scan for tables while ordering. It was already busy at 8am, and when we arrived around 9:30, the place was packed and we waited in line to order. Funny enough, it seemed quieter around 10:30 before it got busy again. The chef even came out to ask how everything was, and he was incredibly kind. Next time, I'm definitely grabbing a bag full of bread to take home. A delicious, casual American‑style breakfast in a lively atmosphere -- worth the visit, even with the wait.

=== Overall === An authentic feeling place for a good croissant. Would go back and recommend! === Food === I got a chocolate and regular croissant. Both were flaky and not too hard - a good balance of flakiness and softness. Price seemed reasonable and the chocolate inside of the chocolate croissant was very tasty. === Service === Pretty friendly counter service, and they helped put away the plates that you use when you dine in. === Ambiance === Pioneer square gets some characters, there was someone yelling inside of the store that left which wasn't this business's fault, they handled it professionally. It's well decorated and the pastries are displayed beautifully.

Tasty croissants, Americano, and another French treat of which I have forgotten the name SUPER service. Friendly patrons. Fun place to watch the shoppers stroll by. Will return!

I've been meaning to try this olace for a while, but especially glad to try now since I just returned from two months in France and can make a first comparison- this is legit! Both the food and the atmosphere. Charming interior with cafe tables and a view of passersby; soft music plays in the background. The dishes match the vibe perfectly, and carafes of water are available free of charge, just like in France. The service is friendly and engaging. The cappuccino was flavorful. The pain au chocolat was large, very buttery, and a good quality chocolate. The baguette was perfect; well baked, great crust, and a super chew. Tasted terrific with lightly salted butter. In short, this is easily comparable to a brasserie in France. The menu and cafe are enticing, inviting one to explore further.

Great pastries, but a terrible cashier. It was almost like she was trying not to smile. Clearly not a cooperative work situation. Pioneer Square is a high tourist area, and that attitude sucks when you're visiting a place for the first time and just trying to get something sweet to snack on. That said, the chocolate cherry croissant was delicious - but I'm not sure it's worth seeing that sour mug again .

Gorgeous French place with breakfast and lunch items and lovely patisserie We loved the mr breakfast that came in a soft delicious brioche bun with French cheese and sunny side up egg and arugula. I feel this needed a side salad though. The almond croissant and the pain de chocolate were exquisite. Would love to be back again for breakfast when in town. There was a small line when we came today on a Sunday around 10am but nothing too bad and you can quickly get a table inside or outside. Clean bathrooms as well. Beautiful experience with our 7 year old and would love to be back!

I originally planned to just grab a coffee and a croissant, but after noticing how popular the mushroom Gruyere croissant seemed, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, perfectly filling, and even better when warmed up. The staff member kindly offered to heat it for me, which really elevated the whole experience. While they serve Umbria coffee, which isn't my personal favorite, the food more than made up for it. The service was warm and friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try the mushroom croissant again or maybe explore some of their other pastries next time.

I made the mistake of ordering a banh mí because I needed lunch and saw it advertised on their chalk board tent sign outside on the sidewalk. I'm sure everything else is great, except this. I waited 5 minutes to be served a cold sandwich. When I asked if I could warm it up, they said it would be another 7 minutes. It wasn't busy, not sure why the long and specific wait. Like everything else, this was incredibly overpriced. The only disappointment was that I would rather order a banh mí from an authentic Vietnamese restaurant than a French bakery (yes, I know about the colonialism involved).

There weren't any other customers inside and we were greeted with an empty display case in the front. While barren, the owner, a gruff* French gentlemen, confirmed that he still had choux pastry left with a choice of either vanilla, coconut, pistachio, or hazelnut. We decided to go with the pistachio, which he assembled fresh for us, first by piping pistachio cream inside the choux shell, then dipping in melted chocolate and sprinkling pistachio on top. Pistachio Choux ($6) - The choux is excellent, baked until deliciously crisp on the exterior while the inside remains soft, eggy, and tender. Since it's fresh filled and we ate it right afterwards, the cream never migrated to saturate the crust - I suspect people with issues with mushiness probably let the cream puff sit too long before consuming. The cream, which is piped to the brim, pushes out against the delicate shell, causing each bite to almost squirt out a bit of the luscious, silky whipped custard. The cream coats the lips and mouth with a layer of fat. It's not too sweet and has a light nutty pistachio flavor. The melted chocolate the top is dipped into glues on all of the pistachio dip. The chocolate is slightly bitter, yet sweet, so it helps cut through some of the rich silkiness of the cream. The pistachios on top act like a crumble, perhaps pulverized and melded with butter to create a very rich yet pistachio forward mix. It's strongly flavored, and the chocolate creates such a strong cement that none of the nuts detach while eating. (5/5) Panterelli was a huge surprise as it wasn't even on our radar until we walked past the shop randomly while exploring the Farmers Market. It's a definite revisit in the future! *The owner isn't nearly as welcoming as a typical American small business owner, but is certainly friendly and eager to chat. I also love his attitude - looks aren't that important; it's the taste the reigns supreme!
