Peanut cream latte and buttercream latte

Found this place looking for coffee places and breakfast that's not just the usual pastries and such. So glad we went! The lattes were sooo good, flavorful, sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. But the real reason that I was intrigued was the egg bread. I love me some corn cheese...and corn cheese for breakfast? Yes please! The asst. manager (didn't get his name) was super nice and helpful. We ended up getting 3 egg bread (bulgogi, corn cheese and bacon cheese) all fantastic choices. The cafe was clean and welcoming without being pretentious. Seeing the manager interact with everyone that came in the place, really showed how much he likes his job and the company he works for and you don't see that often. I would be going to this place often if I lived in Seattle!

I stopped by Egg Squared a bit before close and they were gracious enough to serve me a full meal. Service was extremely friendly and fast. I got a blueberry matcha and a sriracha chicken egg sandwich. The matcha was so good. Great balance of sweetness and matcha flavor, with a fresh blueberry syrup. There were even dried blueberry chunks and it was so good, wish I got a bigger size! The sriracha chicken egg sandwich was DELICIOUS! It tastes like a homemade sriracha sauce, garlicky sweet on top of tender chicken, peppery arugula, soft milk bread, and a melt-in-your mouth egg salad mix. The flavor combo was top tier. The minute I tried it, I knew I'd become a regular. This is the perfect type of meal to bring on a picnic or enjoy outside. Everything was so unexpectedly good considering they opened pretty recently. I will definitely be back to eat more of their delicious sandwiches and drinks again!

My friend and I wanted to try this place since the reviews looked so good. I think we ordered the wrong things honestly. I don't want to write this place off just yet. The sriracha chicken sandwich was one dimensional, the chicken was cold and lacked flavor (soooo sad), I just felt like it was not worth it (price and calories). The matcha strawberry foam did not look like the menu photos- there was barely any strawberry foam... the drink itself wasn't bad though, just was a little disappointed. My friend said if he comes back he wouldn't get the peanut cream latte again (I didn't try it so not sure why). I think if someone really wanted to try this place, I'd come back and actually try the egg bread. I need a redo!!

Service was super friendly! Interior is clean. Popped in and tried the bulgolgi and corn egg boats. Found both a little under seasoned but the egg in the center was jammy which was nice.

Came here with a friend between events. If I knew how good this place was when I went by on the bus I would've came here instead of standing in line up the hill in the morning forever for a latte. My friend had been here before and loved their egg breads. We had seen a couple of friends at a Lunar New Year celebration near by that went that morning and raved about the caffeine free sweet potato latte. My friend had an egg bread and the sweet potato latte which I had a sip of the latte was delicious tastes just like a sweet potato not artificial or too sweet. My friend said he had seen the Barista Tim preparing the sweet potato puree. I had a hojicha latte and the egg sandwich. The egg sandwich was delicious has a little bit of strawberry jam spread on one side sounds unusual but really added to the overall flavor of the sandwich. Hojicha latte was good always a comforting beverage to me. The space is bright and welcoming definitely plays on the egg theme in color. Some tables and a little seating area with a couple of chairs a more lounge feel which is where we sat. We chatted with Tim a bit about coffee and the neighborhood definitely enjoyed our conversation with him, and would come back when I'm in the neighborhood.

Recently, Seattle's been going through a huge matcha boom with a bunch of new interesting cafes popping up. This one is unique with their Korean street food inspired egg breads which I haven't seen anywhere else in Seattle. The matcha here was really nice. It didn't have much bitterness or earthiness and was more on the grassy and floral side. I got the blueberry matcha latte and the light sweetness of the homemade blueberry syrup complemented the matcha really well. I also really enjoyed the lemon salmon sandwich. It was packed full of cured salmon and was really flavorful. The price was very reasonable at about $12, so I think this would be nice to have a protein filled snack instead of a pastry or something you'd get at a different cafe. I really wanted to like the egg breads but I don't think they're for me. It was like an unseasoned boiled egg wrapped in a lightly sweetened sponge cake. On its own it was a bit bland so I liked the ones with stronger toppings like the bulgogi and triple cheese, but I still think the sandwiches were better.

The egg bread was really good! I recommend going early to make sure you can get the one you want. I tried the corn cheese as that was the only vegetarian one left. The staff person was very polite and friendly. The hojicha latte was also quite tasty. There's a few small tables near the window inside that are kinda cozy with good natural light.

I came here with family on a Monday around 12:30pm, and man that is a rough time to come here! Parking around Central District always sucks, but we found one almost next to here. This small cafe is cozy yet casual with very limited dine-in seating, a mirror display on the left-hand side and a nice kitchen area; it's so minimalistic that it's aesthetically pleasing. They're most known for their Korean-inspired egg sandwiches, something I've seen in several other Korean restaurants but not specializing in them like this place. My sis wanted to try their three-set egg bread but when we got there, only one was remaining. Server let us know it's best to get egg breads before 11am when they usually sell out. So for all of us, we got and shared the following: - I did not have the teriyaki chicken sandwich, but those who had it said it was really good and a little sweet. - I got their egg sandwich instead, and it looks small but is filling; they add a whole egg inside the egg salad making up the bulk of the sandwich. Toast was warm and went well with the textures of both the egg and cheese; it didn't come apart too much while I was eating. - The sweet potato latte tastes exactly like a sweet potato, only without the caffeine because it's not coffee based. This was a unique one that was a hit among all of us! - My peanut cream latte was full-on caffeine and coffee, and I loved the peanut butter-like taste of this drink. In general, any one of their sandwiches and a drink can keep you pretty full here, and prices for each are reasonable. They've got so many unique flavors for their sandwiches, drinks and egg bread, and I need to come back again for those egg breads!

Very unique but delicious fluffy egg bread! We got a flight of 3 for $16, with beef bulgogi, scallion cream cheese, and corn cheese (scallion was our fave by far). The breads do kind of get cold fast, but still great. The girl working the counter was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Strawberry matcha was good and non caffeinated cookies and cream latte was milky (although teas were on their non caffeinated drink list?).

I love this small little shop! They were welcoming as we walked in. The service was helpful and knowledgeable. They recommended their favorites and we tried it. The food was different and phenomenal. I would be back! If you're an egg lover this is for you.

I went about a month ago when they first opened. Really enjoyed the egg bread. I ordered the three set. Went great with my Americano. Definitely a unique item and one egg bread is probably enough for a person for breakfast. Parking can be a bit hard on that corner of Yesled but the street car stops close by. Definitely recommend trying if you're interested in something new and different.

This place is such vibes! We came on a Saturday brunch time and it was very busy. We got the bulgogi cheese egg bread ($5.99 each) and bacon and cheese bread. I highly recommend the bulgogi cheese bread! I think the concept of putting away whole egg inside the bread is pretty cool. My friend also got the butter cream latte which was also pretty decent. Unfortunately, they were a bit backed up on this particular day so they were out of a couple items and were out of seats. However, this place is definitely worth a try! They have so many unique flavors and cool food concepts. It's also very aesthetically pleasing in there

Great new spot with cute Korean-inspired egg sandwiches and full-flavored lattes. My friends and I enjoyed the food a lot and will be back. Peanut latte, purple yam latte, the drinks are all quite good, and the sandwiches taste delicious and are reasonably priced.

Lorenzo opened Paseo in 1994, where his popular Cuban roast pork sandwiches were regarded as among the best in the country. After years of local expansion, Paseo abruptly filed for bankruptcy in 2014. The brand was subsequently bought out by a local entrepreneur, but the sale did not include Paseo's secret recipes (the reboot attempted to reverse engineer the sandwiches with varying success). So, in 2015, Lorenzo's sons revived Paseo under a new name, Un Bien, armed with their father's original recipes. Nowadays, Un Bien is generally regarded as superior to Paseo, and you can grab their Caribbean sandos at one of the three locations across Seattle. You can't miss the pastel pink-and-teal palette of the original shack on an otherwise drab block of Ballard. As you approach the wooden window, you are greeted by the aroma of sauteed meats and veggies. Communal laquered wood benches are lined up underneath a covered pergola. Fifties hits ring respectfully around the kitchen. My partner and I visited for late weekday lunch, and we ordered immediately. We opted to focus on the signature pork shoulder, so we split the #1 Caribbean Roast and #2 The Press. Across both sandwiches, we were impressed by the tender pork, rich onions, lemon-forward aioli, and marinade-soaked baguette. The standard roast pork sandwich added on pickled jalapenos and crisp romaine, culminating in a dynamic flavor that accentuated the meat. Meanwhile, The Press featured tart banana peppers, smoked ham, and melty Swiss, amping up the sweet and savory flavors alike; we agreed that this extra-messy sandwich just edged out the standard version. Our order took just minutes to be prepared, and the bill just topped $30. Despite the fanfare, I still found myself surprised by just how satisfying Un Bien's sandwiches turned out to be. Across all the food I ate in Seattle, only these pork sandwiches would be worth a return visit, even if I had to venture out of my way.

We ordered promptly, but were told we would only have about 10 minutes to use the seating area before it closed. When we asked for clarification because the restaurant was advertised as being open until 9:00 PM, staff confirmed they were open until then but said the seating area would close earlier anyway. After receiving our food, we were told not to sit down and were asked to leave the seating area altogether. The interaction felt abrupt and discourteous, especially given that we had arrived well before closing and had purchased food with the expectation that we could eat on-site. The food itself was average, but the poor customer service and inconsistent messaging about seating left a much stronger impression than the meal. There are other better places. Skip.

It was basically an ordinary french dip. The fries were okay, but the jalapeno aioli was great! That made everything better, but not enough to save the sandwich. Located in the Seattle Center Armory, along with many other food vendors, Big Mike's Sandwich Company is serving up huge cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, and other East Coast-style subs. For $25, I picked up the cheesesteak and fries combo. Not a terrible price for the portion. Waited about 10-15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good. I thought some pieces of the steak were a bit tough, and the roll seemed a bit over-steamed or possibly stale. A good sandwich and decent portion, nonetheless. I'm still going 5 stars here. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. My kids loved the MOD Pizza nearby. While there isn't anything wildly unique going on at Big Mike's, they are still pushing out great sandwiches at reasonable prices with a no-frills ordering process.
