Previous visit was at their OG UDIstrict location. I finally had an opportunity schedule-traffic-parking wise to stop by their new Pioneer Square site by 1st & Yesler (12/22/25). Note: there is no onsite seating, just takeout. Wish I knew this before paying for street parking. I purchased a Date & Labneh on a toasted plain bagel. Supposedly as seen via IG, a free 12oz beverage is available to celebrate their opening. Once back at my car, I saw via my online receipt that I was charged for my 12oz mocha. It was not free. Total for the above bagel, mocha, tax & tip was over $20! Thankfully for a Monday around 10am, street parking was just 50 cents. I was a bit disappointed to drive from Shoreline, Northgate, then to Seattle's Pioneer Square to be overcharged for a meh mocha. I ate a fourth of my bagel order in my car. I had looked forward to this after a fast for earlier lab work. Sigh. I wish them well as a fellow UW alum. I like their business expansion and all of their community contributions. Unfortunately, I don't plan to return. I'd rather stop by Mirabelle by Orphée or The Pastry Project instead when in the vicinity.

I finally stopped into this adorable coffee and bagel spot in Pioneer Square, and you guys... it was worth the wait. From the moment you walk in, the smells are incredible and the menu is full of options that all sound tempting. The space itself is small but thoughtfully designed -- cozy, charming, and very much giving Vancouver café vibes. There's no seating, but they've made it feel warm and welcoming, perfect for grabbing something to go while you explore the neighborhood. Bonus: it's right across the street from the romance bookstore (with another room opening soon!). I ordered a Spanish coffee, and wow -- it instantly brought back memories of Spain. Such a comforting, nostalgic touch and absolutely delicious. I didn't try a bagel this time, but the za'atar turkey and pear cinnamon are calling my name, so I'll definitely be back. They're brand new and still finding their rhythm, so show them some love and keep the reviews coming. I've also heard they might be open for First Thursday in January (2025) which sounds like the perfect excuse to grab a bagel for dinner. If you're looking for a reason to get out of the house, take a walk, and discover a new favorite spot -- this is it.

Climb upstairs and get ready to be wowed…read more It's not the easiest to find, but the Pike Place location sits on the top floor of the Corner Market building. Hidden, and almost spa-like. We came in on a rainy morning and found seats next to the glowing fireplace. Talk about cozy! Massive windows overlook the chaotic market below. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, a few food items, and snacks. My salted caramel latte was pretty incredible. This might sound cheesy but as I drank it, I really couldn't believe how exquisite it was. Very lightly sweetened, unbelievably smooth, the foam holding its shape all the way to the last sip, and that little touch of salt tying everything together. No joke, possibly the best latte I've ever had. Back to the space, it's dark, warm, and sexy, with soft gold and amber accents. It reminded me so much of the way I designed my own home so of course we ended up staying much longer than planned. We felt so at home. So if you're a coffee lover, you need to find this spot and experience it for yourself. One word - transcendent.

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
