Stopped by Olympia Coffee for a cup of coffee and my oh my this location is so nice. When you arrive parking can be difficult as this coffee shop is located in downtown seattle. You'll either need to park on the street or in a nearby garage. When you walk into the coffee shop it is located in lobby of a downtown skyscraper. The coffee shop feels huge, very open with all of the windows and modern. This is also a great location to work remotely if you need to get some work done. I ordered a vanilla latte which had beans on the acidic side and was excellent. Definitely recommend stopping by this coffee shop if you are in downtown Seattle near the convention center.
Beautiful space and delicious coffee! There was already a queue even earlier in the morning on a weekend. This would be such a nice place to read or work with a cup.
Delicious! We had iced salted brown sugar lattes and they were incredible. The staff was very nice too! The cinnamon roll was awesome and flaky and even cream cheese icing!
Some friends brought us here, and I ended up ordering the Iced Lavender Latte. I really enjoyed how sweet and refreshing it was, such a perfect way to start the morning! The coffee shop itself is a bit small inside, and it can feel somewhat crowded when the line gets long. Thankfully, they also have a nice patio area, which is where we ended up sitting. It made for a much more relaxed experience and was a great spot to enjoy our drinks.
This is one of the many coffee shops within the block, and I enjoyed the drinks here! This cafe is located inside a larger hotel lobby, and the interior design is stunning. It's lofty and airy, and gorgeous green tiles of all different sizes and colors decorate the walls. We came on Memorial Day morning, and though there was a line, it went by pretty quickly. There's a mix of booth seating with small standalone tables and chairs, but most of the seats were taken. The barista/cashier was really nice about answering my questions about the pastry case. I ended up ordering a matcha latte with brown sugar syrup (half sweet) and a gruyere pull apart pastry. My friend got a regular latte with brown sugar syrup and the scallion pull apart pastry. I also bought a bag of their Morning Sun coffee beans as a souvenir, and the cashier mentioned how it was one of her favorite blends to drink and gift! That reassured me about blind buying. My matcha latte was pretty good. It had an added earthiness from the brown sugar syrup. Though it wasn't as green as the matcha lattes I'm used to drinking back in SoCal, it wasn't bad! However, I think I would skip the gruyere pull apart pastry next time. I usually don't mind gruyere in savory pastries, but this one was especially greasy. The scallion one my friend got was much tastier and a lot lighter - I'd recommend that one over the gruyere one. If I were to come back to Seattle, I'd love come back and try a sweet pastry and a different espresso drink.
The architecture inside Olympia Coffee is absolutely stunning. The wide lobby ceiling and tiles bring together an unique ambiance a lot of other cafes don't have. There was a line for about 20 minutes but it gave me time to soak in the surroundings. I ordered a 12 oz hot London fog with regular milk and really enjoyed. It was perfectly hot and sweet!

I took a chance with the seasonal latte even though I don't typically like floral tastes and really enjoyed it! Also grabbed a bag of beans as a gift. Latte isn't cheap, but pretty standard price. Staff was also very friendly despite the line (which moved quickly).
Located on the bottom floor of a tower building, Olympia Coffee is a small coffee spot serving up tasting menus and delicious local pastries. This was one of the more unique stops on our Seattle adventure. The space is just a small "booth" inside a regular lobby space. There is plenty of seating throughout the building, which is a plus. My favorite thing about this place is the three different tasting options, of which I ordered the Trifecta. It had a lively espresso shot, cortado, and sidecar of brewed coffee. While the coffee wasn't the best I had in the city, it was still very good and worth the stop. The employees were efficient even though it was busy (there were a lot of them for the tiny space) and very kind. The cashier made a recommendation to order the trifecta "for here" only. Not sure if it's even possible to get it "to-go". They also had a great selection of pastries and treats from a local bakery, which I did not indulge in this time around. Great stop and a worthy addition to your Seattle coffee list if in the downtown area!

Such a spacious and modern coffee shop! It's located inside of a huge airy building / hotel, so there's plenty of seating for people to lounge or study in. I really wanted to bring some coffee beans back to California and this place seemed to be high on the recommended list of having the best blends. Walked out of here with the medium roast "Morning Sun" and a hot vanilla latte with low fat milk (slowly building back up my lactose tolerance). Love the subtle homemade vanilla syrup flavor with the mildness of the espresso. Just the right amount of sweetness to coffee ratio in my opinion! You can definitely taste the coffee, but it's not too strong or bitter. My boyfriend got the Jade Cloud and it was also not bitter -- had a hint of a fruity taste with the brewed green tea. Only note is the water was way too hot and almost felt like we could've burnt the leaves haha. Cute spot! Wish we had more places like this in the valley.
This was such a cute space! There were plenty of people working on their laptops on a Friday afternoon. The menu didn't have a ton of unique drinks but they did have some mochi donuts. You order at the counter and then wait for them to call your name. I got the hot chocolate and it was delicious!

Olympia is a beautiful café tucked inside a hotel lobby, so there's plenty of seating. The space is modern with high ceilings and lots of natural light, making it a great spot to work, read, or catch up with friends. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the matcha latte, which was creamy and delicious. I also tried the almond pastry. It was flaky, buttery, and not overly sweet--just the way I like it. read more

This is for the location in West Seattle near Alki. It's a tiny shop with a few sitting areas inside and out but not much and fills up quickly. It has a Hawaiian flare with drinks and breakfast sandwiches that have Spam in them. My son likes their matcha. I tried a latte with cinnamon. The coffee was good, and my son thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich with Spam, egg, and cheese. I had a croissant like muffin that was lightly sugared and tasty. Service was friendly and fairly quick. If I went again when visiting my son, I would try the drink with coconut milk. read more

I love going to see places with stunning designs, so Olympia Coffee was on my list when I saw people post the beautiful interior of the building that it's located in. It would be a really good place to work. There are plenty of tables/chairs to sit at with ample lighting. It's also not too loud. I saw a lot of people with their laptops working. Lighting here is amazing too because of the windows. Coffee here was good. I like that they have house made syrup! I'm not an expert coffee drinker but the drinks were not bitter and had just the right amount of sweetness/flavor from the syrup that is chosen. They didn't really have many drinks that stood out or were unique but I say they do their coffee well (and sometimes that's all you need). Whoever was manning the cashier the day I went was super nice and friendly. He was making conversation with everyone in the line as they were ordering. Even though there was a long line when we got there, it moves pretty quickly and we were able to order and get our drinks in a timely manner. read more
I found out about this coffee shop through my new coworkers who seem to love this spot. I love their house-made sugar syrup with my typical latte order. I've also enjoyed several of their specials. They are located on the first floor of an office building high rise. There is always a line but it moves very fast. There are also plenty of seating, either in the lounge directly across from their counter or elsewhere spreaded across the office building lobby. One thing I also want to point out is that they are a Certified B Corp. I recently learned what that meant and so I'm happy to support businesses that are committed to a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative way of doing business. read more
Found this little "hot spot" while attending an event at the convention center. It was early, it was open! Not much of a vibe as it's in the lobby of a large building. But very clean, very well lit, nice setting to sit and enjoy your coffee. The counter service was awesome! Wish I could recall their name. Wonderful cafe Americano. read more

This coffee spot is located behind a very unassuming entrance but once you walk in, you'll be taken aback on how grand and iconic this place is. The lighting, decor and comfortable various seating setups are wonderful! I took photos that is mostly near the cafe but you can continue to explore so much more! Hot regular latte (4/5) The coffee itself is not bad. I ordered a regular latte and it had zero acidity with a good amount of bitterness. However I didn't taste much of a distinct coffee flavor. Service is fast and courteous with a warm smile. read more

Inside this gorgeous, spacious, unique, and tall windowed building sits a pretty awesome coffee spot - Olympia Coffee. This is a great spot to come in do some reading, working, catching up with friends, or just simply grab a coffee & pastry or taco and admire this spot. Check out the tiling here too! All the greens are super detailed classic deco-style this spot has is worth a visit alone. Seating here ranges from short round table 2-seaters to a long row of individual with some really cool modern mushroom work lights on top. I love each seating area. There are plenty of plugs to use on those long tops too. I got a black sesame hazelnut latte and it was so delicious and the perfect way to kickstart my day. I ordered a Sunrise taco as well maybe called The Jack? I had black beans, cheese, potatoes, pico, and all on a homemade corn tortilla. It was so damn good. Service was friendly, quick, and my order was all recommended by the nice person who took my order. They are quick here so stay close to hear for your order/name if you're ordering and running. Otherwise, go find a cool spot to sit so you can hang out for awhile here. It's a super nice vibe here. read more

Glad I had a chance to visit with my family for a light breakfast. Great place to hang out with friends that provides many seating areas. We enjoyed our experience here. read more
Located in a very cool inviting large space. The shop itself is some small kiosk looking space. Service was fine. Unfortunately the iced mocha was not good, possibly due to whatever chocolate they use. I was quite disappointed as it was expensive for a small size. read more

I am loving this Seattle coffee shop! If not for the closed café inside of the Seattle Convention center all two days I was attending a convention I don't think I would have found Olympia coffee. I'm so glad I ventured out of the building in search of caffeine. My feet brought me to Olympia Coffee, on a corner about 2 blocks away. Inside is spacious, lots of comfy seating and a very easy process to line up and get your order in and all the workers are friendly and happy! They also have lots of pastries and most excitingly they have Gluten-Free pastries! Unfortunately, the GF treats (they had two kinds at the time) both were dry, crumbly, and a little cardboardy but actually perfect to go with a hot latte. And Let Me tell you... that latte I got was Ah-Mayy-Zing! You've heard of pumpkin spice - it's the rave all over the world at this time of year every year! But have you heard of Sweet potato spice latte? I have not until Olympia coffee and it was soooo good. Definitely satisfied my caffeine crush! I had to go back for a second try the next day (and last day in Seattle) and had to try the Black Sesame hazelnut latte. It. Did. Not. Disappoint!! Will definitely be back again next visit.. I'm looking forward to whatever unique flavor they'll have! read more
Coffee shops are usually pretty standard across the board and other than maybe a few unique or novelty drinks you're in for more or less the same experience. Olympia Coffee is on the better side of most coffee shops. We went with two iced lattes that both hit the spot but didn't necessarily blow you away. However, the EXCEPTIONAL thing about this particular location is the building it is located in. The architecture of the lobby is gorgeous with various nooks and recessed areas to settle in with your drink. It elevates what could be a rather standard coffee experience to a higher plane. read more
I keep seeing this place pop up on my TikTok and finally got to go during my lunch break! This place is soooo cute and such a good place to work or study from. There was a bunch of seats and I saw a couple outlets. And free wifi!!!! I got their summer drink (black sesame hazelnut latte) and it was so good. There was actual black sesame seeds and it surprised me since I wasn't expecting that There was a line when I got there, but it moves pretty quick and I got my drink pretty quick as well read more
It is inside of a building. More than an enclosed coffee shop, there's the counter where you can order your coffee, and then find seating within the vast area behind. There was a long bench where my baby could crawl around. We came around 5pm. Unfortunately, they didn't have any food options and hardly any non-coffee options. Not sure if they had sold out by that time, or if they normally don't carry much food. The bathroom has a scanner to scan your receipt, but after an hour it didn't work and I had to grab a security guard to open it for me. The area does have a cool vibe, but not enough options for me personally in terms of food and drinks. read more
Absolutely stunning interior. Truly jaw dropping. I know it's nested inside a business complex but very aesthetic. The barista was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about their various drinks and syrups to help me pick what was best for me. I ended up getting a mocha that I loved. The coffee was alright. Definitely pricey for what you get. I forgot to take a picture but I also got a blueberry scone that unfortunately was not good :( it didn't taste much like a scone. It was more cakey than expected. I wouldn't go again for a pastry but the space is cute to work from if you want an aesthetic well-lit place to work from. read more

I gave this coffee shop a second try and decided to visit during off peak hours instead of the morning rush. I guess it's been about a year and a half since I last came here. It was a much better experience this time around. The barista was nice. Customers were more chill and polite. Seating options were more abundant in Cedar Hall too. read more
My new favorite coffee shop in Seattle! The interior is gorgeous, with green hues and a warm vibe. I love the high ceilings and amount of natural light. You can spend a whole day here and not get tired of it. And you can, because there are outlets and bathrooms! There's a lot of seating so it's good for groups. I ventured upstairs and found more seating (it appeared to be a public space as it wasn't locked/blocked off?). The drip coffee, espresso, and cortado were all delicious. The tasting menu options are perfect for those who are indecisive or want to have a taste of everything! The donut I had was decent and not stale, but nothing amazing. I love a coffee shop that has "for here/dine-in" mugs. I don't know if they do refills of their drip coffee, but I'll be sure to ask next time. read more
Solid coffee and an AMAZING interior. There is SO MUCH seating everywhere. Multiple levels!! I absolutely loved the ambiance and how vast the space was. Cute coffee shop in downtown that's perfect to catch up with your friends or coworkers! This location is in very busy downtown Seattle so i wouldn't recommend driving/parking. The coffee place is located on the first floor of a giant building inside. It will be hard to find from the outside. Their coffee price is pretty steep, i got the smallest coffee (8oz) for over $7 for their one of seasonal drinks. They rotate their seasonal menu, so your fav menu may be gone in a few weeks/months. Coffee was strong and wasn't too blend. I enjoyed the aroma. I would say service was average, it was really busy inside so everyone was trying to have people get their orders and move the line. I would come back to try different flavor since this location is walking distance from my work! read more
