Cute cafe with a wonderful space needle view next to a McDonald's. Easy to find when walking and by bus. The service was quiet and efficient. Cafe was very quiet, open, bright, and spacious. As for the drinks and food we found everything to be good but not memorable or outstanding. I tried the Jasmine Matcha which was tasty with floral notes and very light and smooth. The drink was good but I have tried better matcha in downtown seattle. Nice cafe and a good choice but not a place I see myself returning being honest with all the other awesome cafe options in downtown Seattle.
Love this spot! The tea selection is excellent, especially if you want a milk tea. It was perfect for a rainy day when we went in last week. We both got hot milk teas which was nice. The lobby area is dog friendly, so you can bring your pup in to order, but you can't sit inside (though there's a patio you can hang out on outside!). It's covered but it was raining pretty hard so we just grabbed to go. The inside is really cute with some local art and options for small purchases of tea and such. Big windows too! The staff were very sweet when we came in not too long before close so excellent service. Overall highly recommend and will be back, especially in fall for some hot milk teas but they have lovely iced fruit teas for summer I want to try too.
One of the smoothest matchas I've had in a while - this place definitely lives up to its hype! The drink was so refreshing, perfect for a nice spring day. The strawberry puree added the perfect amount of sweetness to balance out the matcha flavor without overpowering the drink. You can tell the matcha quality is there, super clean, not bitter at all, and really well-balanced. I throughly enjoyed each sip and can't wait to go back for more!
New cafe alert!!! I got the matcha latte with oat milk as my alternative. It was delicious! The matcha was not bitter at all, smooth and more so earthy (which i enjoyed). If you're one of those people who complain about it tasting like grass, then this wouldn't be the right drink for you! The owner is very nice and welcoming. You can tell how much he cares about what he's doing and how he's doing it. It's a perfect place to gather with friends, possibly study or even just a quick come and go. Check this place out!
Service was fast and friendly. Interesting drink options. The Jasmine Green Tea Latte that I got was very tasty. I would definitely come back to try the other offerings. Chill seating area indoors and outdoors for small groups. Easy to grab and go. Close to Space Needle so parking can be a challenge.
Under the Tea Lattes section, I tried the Osmanthus Oolong Tea (Golden Bloom) and the Phoenix Orchid Oolong Tea (Crimson Mist). Both were delicious and definitely on the lighter side rather than a dark oolong. Crimson Mist leaned more earthy, while Golden Bloom was noticeably more floral. I mainly came for their premium kung fu tea, and honestly, the menu is overwhelming in the best way possible. I wanted to try everything. This time, I went with the Mountain Haze Green Tea. Grown at high altitudes, it's very light, smooth, and low in bitterness. The tea is steeped for you and served in a pot, and you can request multiple cups if you're sharing, which is a nice touch. Since green tea is a popular choice, here are a few extra notes. Dragonwell, typically from Hangzhou, has a nutty sweetness with subtle chestnut notes. Taichi Sprouts is milder and more grassy, but still carries a gentle sweetness. And if you're unsure what to order, Jasmine Green is always a safe bet, you can't go wrong with its classic floral aroma. Huge shoutout to Jessie for taking the time to clearly explain the different tea categories. I'll definitely be coming back, and next time I want to try their ice cream as well.
Tried this when they were still fairly new and was really happy with their drinks. We tried the caramel macchiato and it was one of the better ones I've had They also had a large selection of teas and they had samples out so you could try it before ordering, super helpful. The staff was really friends and patient as we chose what to order and tried different teas. They also had plenty of seating. There was limited parking since the location is near the space needle, but that's to be expected.
Cute little coffee shop! They have plenty of coffee and tons of tea options. They even have gelato! My favorite beverage was the shaken osmanthus oolong tea! Perfectly sweet. We also got the golden bloom tea latte. The shop had soft music playing. Super clean and plenty of seating. Service was great! They were nice and drinks came out quick.
Coffee and tea though a Limited selection of items to eat. My wife got the Affagoto and the ice cream was gummy. My caramel macchiato, however, was good. Service was good but not great.
Quiet cafe in the busy city. Great location and service was so fast! They have a great option of drinks and pastries. I got the pistachio oat milk latte and it was so good. Not overly sweet but so flavorful. 10/10 recommend! There are a few tables and was a nice spot to get some work done. WiFi was good speed (IYKYK)
The osmanthus oolong tea is quite good, especially on a hot day. The cafe is quite nice for working as well.
Was walking around downtown and saw this new tea shop that just opened. When I walked in the barista was really nice and gave me a couple teas to sample. I decided to try their Jasmine milk tea. It was nice and smooth and had a good balance between the sweetness and the tea flavors. The customer service was great as well. They made sure to walk us through their menu and the types of teas they had to offer. Definitely recommend this spot!
Great place to get tea and coffee. I love their latte which had flavors of pistachio. The Matcha latte was pretty good too. Super friendly service, I would come back.

I got the da hong pao tea latte. It's not often you find this tea! It's pretty light, so not as flavorful as I would have liked (minus 1 star), but it was good and refreshing overall! Good and convenient location near the space needle! Street parking is hard and paid but doable after circling around during peak hours. Nice spot to hang out! The service was good and friendly. read more
Chaco Coffee & Tea is a newish cafe with a surprisingly large variety of teas, including multiple types of rarer Oolong and White teas not typically found in western cafes. We were initially enticed to visit Chaco Coffee & Tea given the mention of boba on their website. There aren't many options near Seattle Center, so having an additional one is always welcome! Walking in, unfortunately we found no mention of boba anywhere on the menu. I guess it's a future option or perhaps the website is just wrong, considering that they show photos of rolled ice cream, which they also don't serve. Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants. read more

REAL TEA FLAVOR! We were walking away from a Seattle Center Festival when one of the employee from here was handling our samples and WOW! A lot of tea or bubble tea shops skimp on tea flavor in flavor of more sugar toppings and flavorings but this is one of those rare tea shops that really bring out the flavors of the tea and it's delicious! And they have more options than the basic green or black! Light, refreshing, but intensely flavorful: floral, sweet, earthy. Definitely a relaxing way to cool off from the summer sun! Also has a nice selection of specialty tea pots, teas, and coffee. read more
