This newly opened cafe shares space with an Element by Westin that's situated near the ever-so-noisy-and-dangerous Aurora Ave. To get here, I'd use street parking around the vicinity and not enter through Aurora Ave as your stops are gonna be sudden when you do reach Roy St for parking. The inside is relatively minimalistic with green chairs, coffee tables and a decent amount of seating - both chair and couch - for those wanting to do laptop work here. There is incessant traffic on Aurora on the Friday afternoon around 2pm during which I decided to come here, but it's muffled to the point where it actually sounds relaxing... so much so I could actually fall asleep here! Keep in mind that you'll need to get a key card at the front to use the restroom, which this place shares with the hotel. From all the matcha and Vietnamese coffee offerings they provide here, I got their banana pudding matcha with oat milk, which was one of the three advertised special menu items. Banana pudding paired very well with the lightly sweetened ceremonial matcha layer, adding a sweet, creamy top onto the drink. The overall banana pudding to matcha ratio here was just right, with neither of them overpowering the other. This drink literally felt like a harmony between the two! I got a chance to speak with Yuri the owner of the cafe who was working alone making the drinks, and she was very welcoming; she handed me and other customers their drinks when she was finished making them. I'm highly rooting for this place to flourish and have more people coming in since the drinks here hit! Next time I'll come back for the many tiramisu cakes here along with probably the earl grey matcha.

The customer service here could've been friendlier. I ordered the Ube matcha with the Ube cream top and oat milk and it still tasted kinda earthy. Not worth the price I paid for it. The space is kinda small inside with some seating. Overall, I wouldn't come back here again and I don't recommend this cafe.

I visited on a Tuesday around 3:30 PM, but they were out of coffee, which was a bit disappointing since they close at 5 PM. Because of that, I decided to come back on a Sunday around 10:15 AM to make sure they actually had coffee available. I ordered a coffee with salty foam at 50% sweetness. I'm glad I chose the 50% option, because the foam itself was already very sweet and ended up overpowering the flavor of the coffee. That said, the coffee itself was still decent. The ambiance is very nice modern and posh. It was also empty when I visited, which made it feel like a great spot to work from a cafe, especially on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Kind of an odd location, and you have to find street parking because the cafe is located in the space next to a hotel. My friend and I stopped by on a weekend morning and we were the first and only customers there for a while. We ordered the banana pudding matcha latte (one with oat) and a Thai tea persimmon cookie. The staff were incredibly friendly and even brought out the drinks to us at our table. We sat and hung out there for a bit because the location is actually quite spacious with plenty of seats. I'll definitely be open to trying their other menu items.

The matcha drinks are slightly on the sweeter side but the flavor of the drink and matcha are still very evident. Loved the strawberry matcha drink, reminded me how good strawberry matcha drinks are. The banana pudding foam was very generous too. The chiffon cake was soo light and moist, raspberry was perfectly tart and blended well with the sweet cream. The cafe's hidden away a little bit next to a hotel but feels very cozy and clean. It's a little hard to get to without a car but staff was so kind and friendly!!

Finally had the chance to check this new cafe out. It is pretty good! Got a matcha latte and a viet drip coffee with sea salt. The viet coffee is definitely the move. The coffee itself is super strong and the sea salt adds a nice flavor and creaminess to it as well. Just a heads up that we had to do street parking, but I honestly had no trouble finding a spot right away.

Thanks to Roanne and Peter (IG @chaucakes) for putting this on my radar screen! On this sunny MLK Day, I decided to check out TruLe Yours Cafe in the vicinity of South Lake Union and lower Queen Anne in Seattle (1/19/26). Pro tips: From 99/Aurora southbound, keep to the right. Do not take the left turn exit to Denny/Westlake. Do not take the center lane into the toll tunnel. Turn right onto Roy Street off of 99/Aurora. The cafe is located on Roy St. between 6th Ave N & 99/Aurora, adjacent to Four Points by Sheraton, and street level to Element by Hilton. There is paid street parking in the vicinity. The interior is bright with natural light and high ceilings. Pleasant modern aesthetic. There are fresh foliage and flowers for that pop of color. Seating wise, there are two sets of small couches flanking coffee tables, a pair of three tops, one two top, and counter seating facing Aurora. The overhead music & convo prevails, and well muffled from street traffic noise. I ordered a 16oz iced Matcha with matcha cream, 50% sweet, condensed milk, and whole milk. I also enjoyed a strawberry corn cookie from Anh Ơi. Both items were on point. With tax & tip, this came under $19. A bit pricey, but a worthwhile treat. Congrats to another indie pop-up making the transition to a lovely brick and mortar! Overall, clean and welcoming spot with pleasant service and reasonable variety of menu items to select from.

Got the matcha latte and it was sooo good. Not too sweet, not too bitter -- it still had that earthy matcha flavor that I really like. I also tried the banana pudding matcha and yum! The pudding was creamy and slightly savory without being overly sweet, which made it really balanced. The interior is nice and modern with decent seating, so it's a good spot to hang out. Service was really nice too. Definitely a place I'd go back to for matcha.

Solid little new coffee shop inside a brand new hotel. They have not been open 3 weeks so they have a sign that says the staff is still learning and figuring everything out which I actually appreciate. That said, the space is beautifully decorated. The staff is really nice! We got 2 drinks- 1 matcha and 1 customized really strong Vietnamese coffee. They made the coffee really strong which I loved. The matcha tastes really clean and not grainy along with the delicious banana pudding! 5 stars!

A nice Vietnamese cafe to try out! I had their Vietnamese coffee with added banana pudding and it was good. The drink was light and sweet, and the coffee and banana pudding went well together. I did wish the Viet coffee taste was stronger, but still definitely enough caffeine. The ambiance is pretty nice. Very spacious, clean and organized, great lighting and cute decorations. The service was good. The staff was friendly and asked us if we needed any adjustments to our drinks after receiving them. The drink menu is a bit small unfortunately. They do have snacks and desserts if you're looking for some, however, they are a bit pricey. Parking is very limited too and the location isn't the best.

Banana pudding is alright, but the matcha wasn't great perhaps the quality is different? Service was quick, no one was inside (usually odd for a matcha cafe). The chairs were dirty (there's hair everywhere), so we left as soon as we saw how uncomfortable it is to hang out here. Not worth visiting again. Just not on the same level of standard compared to other matcha cafes I've visited.

The drinks here were fantastic! They have a really cool menu for matcha, which I deeply appreciated. The staff person was also very sweet and was clearly trying her best and maybe was newer and learning. She did everything with intentionality and an endearing smile. We weren't in a hurry so it was fine but I wonder if perhaps a second staff member is needed as she had to stop to make everything in between each order and these are some involved drinks too. Give her some help with staffing! She did great though - it's more a commentary on staffing. The vibes seemed good with lots of seating and natural light for staying and enjoying your items. I will note that if you're not staying in the hotel though it's a bit tricky to get to as you can't cross Aurora to get to it. Make sure you're either going over the bridge on the west side or under it and then doubling back on the little path alongside the hotel above Mercer to get there. Now that I know how to get there I'd go back and try more!

Great place to get Matcha around Queen Anne! The place is very clean, modern, large. The service here was amazing! I really enjoyed the banana pudding Matcha latte and their pastries. Overall, I highly recommend and I would come back.

Out of the three, this one might be the coziest and most charming. Stopped in on a classic misty Seattle day for a chai latte, which was warm, balanced, and exactly what I wanted for the weather. The staff was incredibly friendly and even let me briefly bring my dog inside while placing a takeout order, which I really appreciated. The location is hard to beat: ample outdoor seating, easy street parking, and just steps from Kerry Park, beautiful residential streets, restaurants, and Molly Moon's across the street. It really captures that relaxed neighborhood coffee shop feeling Seattle does so well. Didn't try the food this time, but the pastries and burritos looked great. I remembered that there was a Caffe Vita near 2nd & Galer. Nice retail stretch with pizza, sandwich, ice cream choices, plus a French cafe nearby too. Lucked out with parking right at the corner. Several folks were seated outside enjoying the pleasant spring sunshine. I've been to other Caffe Vita locations in Capitol Hill, LQA w/KEXP FM at Seattle Center, Fremont, and Caffe Fiore on Sunset Hill/Ballard. There are other spots in Seattle, plus expansion to New York and Arizona. This was our first visit to this specific site. I liked the interior - wood, mirrors, art prints, and of course the wrap around counter with merch, coffee roasts, and Macrina pastries. Variety of indoor seating available, as well as, outdoor sidewalk seating. The barista team during this visit were very welcoming and efficient. I had my usual 16oz iced mocha and The Homie had a 16oz iced Arnold Palmer. I was happy that my accrued points resulted in a significant discount with this transaction. One of several indies in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood and has remained consistent and welcoming.

We were initially enticed to visit Chaco Coffee & Tea given the mention of boba on their website. There aren't many options near Seattle Center, so having an additional one is always welcome! Walking in, unfortunately we found no mention of boba anywhere on the menu. I guess it's a future option or perhaps the website is just wrong, considering that they show photos of rolled ice cream, which they also don't serve. Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants.
