Banana pudding is alright, but the matcha wasn't great perhaps the quality is different? Service was quick, no one was inside (usually odd for a matcha cafe). The chairs were dirty (there's hair everywhere), so we left as soon as we saw how uncomfortable it is to hang out here. Not worth visiting again. Just not on the same level of standard compared to other matcha cafes I've visited.

The matcha drinks are slightly on the sweeter side but the flavor of the drink and matcha are still very evident. Loved the strawberry matcha drink, reminded me how good strawberry matcha drinks are. The banana pudding foam was very generous too. The chiffon cake was soo light and moist, raspberry was perfectly tart and blended well with the sweet cream. The cafe's hidden away a little bit next to a hotel but feels very cozy and clean. It's a little hard to get to without a car but staff was so kind and friendly!!

Got the matcha latte and it was sooo good. Not too sweet, not too bitter -- it still had that earthy matcha flavor that I really like. I also tried the banana pudding matcha and yum! The pudding was creamy and slightly savory without being overly sweet, which made it really balanced. The interior is nice and modern with decent seating, so it's a good spot to hang out. Service was really nice too. Definitely a place I'd go back to for matcha.

Thanks to Roanne and Peter (IG @chaucakes) for putting this on my radar screen! On this sunny MLK Day, I decided to check out TruLe Yours Cafe in the vicinity of South Lake Union and lower Queen Anne in Seattle (1/19/26). Pro tips: From 99/Aurora southbound, keep to the right. Do not take the left turn exit to Denny/Westlake. Do not take the center lane into the toll tunnel. Turn right onto Roy Street off of 99/Aurora. The cafe is located on Roy St. between 6th Ave N & 99/Aurora, adjacent to Four Points by Sheraton, and street level to Element by Hilton. There is paid street parking in the vicinity. The interior is bright with natural light and high ceilings. Pleasant modern aesthetic. There are fresh foliage and flowers for that pop of color. Seating wise, there are two sets of small couches flanking coffee tables, a pair of three tops, one two top, and counter seating facing Aurora. The overhead music & convo prevails, and well muffled from street traffic noise. I ordered a 16oz iced Matcha with matcha cream, 50% sweet, condensed milk, and whole milk. I also enjoyed a strawberry corn cookie from Anh Ơi. Both items were on point. With tax & tip, this came under $19. A bit pricey, but a worthwhile treat. Congrats to another indie pop-up making the transition to a lovely brick and mortar! Overall, clean and welcoming spot with pleasant service and reasonable variety of menu items to select from.

Solid little new coffee shop inside a brand new hotel. They have not been open 3 weeks so they have a sign that says the staff is still learning and figuring everything out which I actually appreciate. That said, the space is beautifully decorated. The staff is really nice! We got 2 drinks- 1 matcha and 1 customized really strong Vietnamese coffee. They made the coffee really strong which I loved. The matcha tastes really clean and not grainy along with the delicious banana pudding! 5 stars!

A nice Vietnamese cafe to try out! I had their Vietnamese coffee with added banana pudding and it was good. The drink was light and sweet, and the coffee and banana pudding went well together. I did wish the Viet coffee taste was stronger, but still definitely enough caffeine. The ambiance is pretty nice. Very spacious, clean and organized, great lighting and cute decorations. The service was good. The staff was friendly and asked us if we needed any adjustments to our drinks after receiving them. The drink menu is a bit small unfortunately. They do have snacks and desserts if you're looking for some, however, they are a bit pricey. Parking is very limited too and the location isn't the best.

Great place to get Matcha around Queen Anne! The place is very clean, modern, large. The service here was amazing! I really enjoyed the banana pudding Matcha latte and their pastries. Overall, I highly recommend and I would come back.

Finally had the chance to check this new cafe out. It is pretty good! Got a matcha latte and a viet drip coffee with sea salt. The viet coffee is definitely the move. The coffee itself is super strong and the sea salt adds a nice flavor and creaminess to it as well. Just a heads up that we had to do street parking, but I honestly had no trouble finding a spot right away.

Super great space to work in!!! The staff were super sweet, the space is quiet, and it was super empty. The banana cream matcha latte was very delicious! Could have used a little more sugar, but I did get 50%. Highly recommend!!

Look no further than Anchorhead Coffee. They've been around since 2013 and I've always enjoyed their coffee and the ambiance in their cafes. Today, I stopped by their Pike Place Market location and also got friendly service. I tried their seasonal Salted Brown Butter Caramel Latte. Their caramel is made in house. I got my drink hot and it was delicious with the melted caramel. I was pleased that this drink was not too sweet compared to most flavored drinks in other cafes. The location of this cafe is a little off the beaten track, which means it may typically get less foot traffic compared to other cafes in the heart of the market that often has long lines. If you want to avoid those long lines, go here. This place also has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. check it out for yourself soon!

We tried a few, but we ended up coming to Anchorhead twice. We tried the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew and the Blue Berry Matcha. I love my sweet coffees, and the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew hits the spot. It was delicious and you can taste the flavors of the cereal. I'm not a matcha fan, but the flavors from the blueberry paired nicely with the matcha. I would definitely recommend this as well. The dining area and bathrooms were clean, wifi was good, and the staff was nice. This place checks all the boxes for a welcoming coffee stop.

Both were delicious and definitely on the lighter side rather than a dark oolong. Crimson Mist leaned more earthy, while Golden Bloom was noticeably more floral. I mainly came for their premium kung fu tea, and honestly, the menu is overwhelming in the best way possible. I wanted to try everything. This time, I went with the Mountain Haze Green Tea. Grown at high altitudes, it's very light, smooth, and low in bitterness. The tea is steeped for you and served in a pot, and you can request multiple cups if you're sharing, which is a nice touch. Since green tea is a popular choice, here are a few extra notes. Dragonwell, typically from Hangzhou, has a nutty sweetness with subtle chestnut notes. Taichi Sprouts is milder and more grassy, but still carries a gentle sweetness. And if you're unsure what to order, Jasmine Green is always a safe bet, you can't go wrong with its classic floral aroma. Huge shoutout to Jessie for taking the time to clearly explain the different tea categories. I'll definitely be coming back, and next time I want to try their ice cream as well.

We were initially enticed to visit Chaco Coffee & Tea given the mention of boba on their website. There aren't many options near Seattle Center, so having an additional one is always welcome! Walking in, unfortunately we found no mention of boba anywhere on the menu. I guess it's a future option or perhaps the website is just wrong, considering that they show photos of rolled ice cream, which they also don't serve. Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants.
