I really love URL Coffee in Cap Hill, especially for the drinks. That is probably the biggest draw for me, and they have become one of my go-to spots when I want something that feels a little more special than just a basic coffee run. The food is genuinely delicious too, but I do have one gripe: the bread can be really tough, which makes it kind of a pain to eat if you are there trying to work, answer emails, or do anything besides fully commit to wrestling your sandwich. Great flavor, mildly aggressive texture. Still, I keep coming back because the drinks are that good and the overall vibe is solid. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.
It's a cute coffee place located in a convenient area for people staying or visiting the area. They have some chill music and you can get together and catch up with friends. I ordered a matcha latte and a blueberry scone which were served very promptly after ordering. Would come back again for the matcha latte
The walk to work latte never misses! My favorite coffee drink in all of Seattle. Sweet little treat in the form of a drink.

I also think that heavily flavored drinks aren't my thing anymore (trendy flavors like lavender or caramel) and I just want really well done coffee. The walk to work balances a latte with their sweet twist without overshadowing their coffee flavor. === Service === Service is friendly and they're always busy. The baristas are very knowledgable and efficient, but sometimes they seem a little swamped so be prepared to wait a little bit. === Ambiance === This place is kept clean and there's a large shared table where the majority of people sit and work. If you like aesthetic modern interiors you'll love this place. I look for places that look like this, lol.

Their specials aren't really that special, they're very simple drinks like a caramel or a pumpkin spice. Nothing unique or fun. I do have to give them props for house made syrups but other than that there isn't that much for me to miss or crave about this place. The cups aren't anything unique, the drinks aren't creative, and the inside is simple.

I had heard that was their best drink and the people were right. The sweet cream foam was so delicious. It was the perfect amount of sweetness, thickness and cream. It really gave the espresso the perfect amount of creaminess and sweetness. The espresso was also very good (according to my boyfriend, who is more of a coffee drinker than me). I really want to come back to try their sweet cream foam on top of the matcha latte. I wish I lived or worked somewhere closer to this area. First Hill can be hard to get to sometimes :( otherwise I would come more frequently.
Trying to find a new coffee shop to visit every time I visit Seattle and finally made it to URL Coffee. The baristas were all very friendly and quick to take our order. There's somewhat limited seating, so can certainly fill up fast. But I can see this being a great place to study or sit and read while having a cup of coffee. I had the walk to work with house made vanilla syrup. The latte itself is the perfect amount of sweet and espresso flavor, and the sweet cream on top is a little bit thicker but definitely delicious! My partner got a cortado and said it was good as well. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
Good place to get coffee and Matcha. I wish my Matcha had cream on the top like their other drinks. That is why I am a little underwhelmed, but the matcha is good in flavor. Good and quick service too. I'd come back and try their coffee.
Come for the ambiance and stay for the espresso and house made sweet cream foam! This coffee shop near Seattle University offers a few small tables and one large communal table for great work spaces. The lighting also made it feel warm and cozy. Their sweet cream foam easily beats out Starbucks. Service was super quick and the baristas were welcoming and kind!
Second time visiting this spot, but my first time trying the iced matcha latte. First off, very cute space. Great to hangout with people and even do some light work. Chairs/tables are very scandi/minimalist, but not at my level of comfy so I personally wouldn't stay for longer than an hour or two lol. The walk to work latte was great and not too sweet (obviously be aware that it has sweet cream foam on top). I think their coffee is a little bit on the bitter side, so it pairs great with the cold foam. The matcha was a big reason why I came back. I think it was a pretty great drink! It was a very floral, strong matcha latte; NOT skimping on the matcha at all. I think half-sweet is the perfect level, but my sister ended up getting full sweetness. They use a simple syrup for sweetening. Service was speedy and baristas were very informed. Will be back if I'm in the area!
Ordered an Americano at URL. Delicious coffee, good undertones. Stayed for about 30 minutes, not the most comfortable seating. Loved the mug the coffee was served in. My friend loved his speciality drink.
Was very excited to try this place because it had such great reviews on social media, but we had a disappointing experience. As first time customers, we had some questions about two of the drinks, but the barista who rang us up didn't seem to want to answer our questions and wasn't very friendly. As for the actual coffee, I don't think the espresso shots were extracted quite right as it tasted very acidic. The cream top for the drink "Walk to Work" was good though. Interior is cute and vibey, reminds me of a section you'd see at IKEA.

I'd been meaning to try this spot for a while, and I'm so glad that I finally did! First, the staff were super helpful and friendly - we weren't sure what we wanted at first, but they were patient and were willing to make the walk to work coffee hot instead of iced for us! I've been preferring hot lattes lately, and this one HIT. I loved the strong flavor of the espresso that wasn't overpowered by the cream top. I'll definitely have to try it again in an iced version on my next visit. The interior was so cozy and I loved the decor. There was wifi and a couple outlets available. The space was buzzing the whole time we were there - empty spots seemed to be scarce and momentary, though we did get lucky to snag a nice spot after some people left. I definitely plan on stopping by again! read more
After lunch, my friend and I made our way to URL Coffee for an afternoon caffeinated drink. We were both in the mood for something that wasn't coffee, so we each got an iced matcha. The interior is spacious, and we were able to find seating by the window. It was pretty packed last Friday with most people studying or getting work done. ICED MATCHA LATTE - 7 + whole milk The matcha had a good matcha to milk ratio and tasted fine. However, it was unpleasantly gritty and grassy, which was disappointing. Sadly, I would not recommend the matcha here. Their signature drink is the "Walk to Work" iced latte that has a sweet cream on top. This is what people usually get, so I'll consider it for a future visit. read more
This cafe is a pretty nice one to be in if you wanna get some WFH work done and enjoy some coffee, matcha and/or small pastries. Located around Broadway, you're gonna have some trouble finding parking to get here if you're driving. I used some residential parking several blocks down on 11th Ave that wasn't marked by Zone 7 permits to get here on a Friday afternoon around 2:40pm. While the inside is relatively chill and quiet for laptop work, music is slightly louder inside than what you'd expect from a cafe; sound reverberates easily inside especially when you pull up a chair from one of the tables. Any outside traffic noise is muffled very well by the interior. As for seating, there'a bench seating near the windows and the side of the front counter, a long table for group seating and two smaller tables in the back. Drinks here come out relatively fast no matter what you get, as I've observed from others grabbing drinks after me, so staff was working very efficiently throughout. I got their matcha latte and there's not too much to say about it. It's borderline ceremonial though most likely because I asked for it sweetened, and there wasn't much sweetness. Good for me though since I could easily pick up the grassy tones though they are mid-level. I'd say this visit isn't representative of what they offer but I still enjoyed my drink here. Plus patrons kept coming in for stuff so they have a lot of traction. I'll grab their Walk to Work or Mischief on another unplanned trip here when I'm in the mood for coffee. read more

Located in the border of Capitol Hill / First Hill, near Zig Apartments, this place is a cozy coffee shop that is known for their Walk to Work latte. For $6/6.75+tax, it is fair price, featuring a latte with sweet cream on top, which is fairly aesthetic regardless of whether or not you get the 12oz or the 16oz size. The drinks came out fast and it is convenient on the go. Location is a bit hard to get to without a car, and parking is a bit limited, but I recommend if you are in the area. FYI kitchen is closed Sunday and Monday so it was a bit of a letdown as we wanted to get some avocado toast along with the coffee, and I wish it was advertised in advance somewhere so we could've made a visit at a future day. Only pastries that they can heat up are available, which had limited options that didn't stand out for us. read more

My friend recommended this spot to me when she was in Seattle so I knew I had to try it! First thing I noticed when I walked in was that the ambiance here is so nice. Perfect place to study, work, or just hangout with friends. I ordered their signature walk to work coffee. The cream top worked perfectly with the coffee. Service was super quick and easy. Took less than 5 minutes for our coffee. Make sure to visit here if you're ever in the area! read more

I stopped by the cafe on Monday around 2PM, and it was quiet with hardly anyone inside. Finding parking took a little time since they only have street parking available. The interior is a cute, minimalistic space with a simple vibe that I liked. I ordered their signature drink Walk to Work, which is a latte topped with sweet cream. The flavor was nicely balanced and rich. Overall, it was a pleasant, efficient experience! read more

I really enjoy the ambiance and vibe of this coffee shop. The lanterns and wood furniture create a cozy feeling. The service is great and ordering is easy. The menu is rather small with no Gluten free options. My partners and I stopped by here on a Saturday morning and it was busy but we were able to find a seat. We both ordered the specialty "walk to work drink". The drinks were very tasty but felt more like a dessert than coffee. The cream/milk was very overpowering. I am usually not sensitive to milk but this drink made me need to run to the bathroom I think it's a fun drink to get once in a while. There espresso didn't come through strongly but also was not bitter. Plus 50 points for having ceremonial matcha!! Neither of us finished our drink. I would come again but would order a different drink. read more

THE BEST SWEET CREAM FOAM. URL Coffee's matcha is the most consistent matcha I've ever had. I've been here a few times and with every visit, the drink tasted the same as the first. The employees are always nice, it's cozy and quiet. I order the 12oz iced matcha latte with house-made sweet cream on top ($7.45). The sweet cream foam is the best I've ever had. It's thick, creamy, sweet and consistent. The matcha itself is not sweet so I always ask for sweeter. It's also on the thicker side. I would highly recommend! read more

order the Walk to Work - you won't regret it. URL has been on my list for awhile and I am kicking myself for not getting here earlier. I loved how airy and bright the shop felt, although during busier times you may find it more difficult to find seating. The Walk to Work (latte with a house made cream top) was hands down one of the best lattes I've tried in awhile. It definitely leans on the sweeter side, so ask for less cream if that's not your vibe. Have heard great things about the matcha so definitely will be trying next read more

I wanted to like this place more than I actually did, but its still a pretty good cafe! I was interested in this place for their signature walk to work drink, as I've had an einspanner before and it sounded just like that. When we arrived at around 1pm on a friday it was quite packed, and their seating is mainly just one super large table so you're forced to sit near other people if crowded. Upon initial sip I really liked the strength of the espresso and sweetness of the cream - it made for a very well balanced drink. As time went on, it felt a lot more milky and didn't have as strong of a coffee flavor as I enjoyed. The cream also seemed to melt into the drink but somehow didn't add much to it? I also tried some of my friend's matcha which was good too. They have wifi here so you can work as well, and overall the vibe is very calm and pleasant. read more

I tried the ceremonial matcha with house-made vanilla syrup and the Walk to Work iced latte with house-made sweet cream, easily the best sweet cream I've ever had! My last stop in Seattle Such an amazing curated cafe! I loved the vibes in this space. The owner is so fashionable and knows a lot about curating a thoughtful space. I got the "walk to work" iced latte which was just a latte with a sweet cream top, similar to an einspänner. My friends got vanilla lattes and iced matchas! They said it was great as well :) I also got the (orange?) hazelnut roll and it was delicious!!! It's been a few weeks and I'm still thinking about it. I'll def come back!! read more

Cute little cafe that is great for studying as there are a good amount of seating places. The drinks are alright and not too bad for the price. The baristas were pretty quick with it and the wait wasn't too long. The interior is really aesthetic and would be a place I'd come to for a study spot and a little drink for myself. I like the matcha latte they have but it could be stronger in the matcha taste and less milk taste. Overall, I'd say it was about average. The teas aren't too bad. The green citrus tea was not very strong in the citrus taste and tasted more like green tea. I have yet to try the other teas and other things in the menu. read more

Enjoyed their walk to work latte! The cream top is delish. Def a sip while working latte because it was strong hehe. The inside seems great for working and hanging out. It was pretty packed when we came around 11:30AM. My bf got the vanilla latte and rated it 7/10. Walk to work was 8.7/10 for me. read more

Whenever I'm in the mood for a strong and creamy coffee, I come to URL. Walk to Work is their signature drink, which is an iced latte topped with sweet cream. It's so simple but so delicious. Their coffee is strong and smooth, while the cream adds a rich taste profile to the coffee. While it's not cheap ($7.5 for 16oz), it's one of the best coffee you can get in the area. I also love the aesthetic of the cafe. The cafe isn't that big but it feels spacious thanks to the abundance of natural light and simple yet cozy decors. read more
