I finally tried Analog Coffee, and it definitely lives up to its popularity in terms of atmosphere. There's almost always a line, and the space is cozy with a clean, well-designed aesthetic. I got a hot oat milk latte with vanilla. It was good overall but I wish there was more vanilla flavor. The latte art was nice though! Seating inside is limited and there's a few small tables outside, so it's better suited for catching up with a friend rather than working on your laptop. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area, it's tucked away in a quaint part of Capitol Hill and is well loved by locals.

one of my favorite coffee shops I've tried in Seattle. I love the overall vibe and that it's tucked away in the neighborhood. they also have a super yummy and unique breakfast sandwich. my go to is a black cold brew with a splash of cream.

    Order foods after drinks

Tried Analog for the first time today- We really appreciated how knowledgeable the first barista was. She walked us through the beans and expected flavor profiles, which made us SUPER excited to try the pour overs. Unfortunately, the final cups didn't match what was described. Both tasted a bit over-extracted and lacked the distinct flavors we were expecting, especially at $9. It appeared the gooseneck kettle was being filled from a commercial water boiler, which may make it harder to precisely control water temperature for pour overs. We also had a confusing experience with ordering. There appeared to be one line for coffee and a separate line for checkout, and there was signage suggesting food could be ordered after coffee. Based on that, I went to the register just to grab a pastry, but was told I had cut the line (no one was waiting to pay) and that it was a "favor" not to send me to the back. It might help to have clearer and more consistent signage about how ordering works.

Long line but def worth it. Their breakfast sandwiches were amazing and their coffees hit the spot. They have outdoor seating as well, which dog owners usually sit out .. so if you want to sit near a cute dog, outside is the place to sit haha.

Staff were friendly and the coffee was great! I got a cortado and I appreciated that they provided sparkling water with it. I decided to get a rice bowl and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The veggies were cooked well and tasted super fresh and it was really filling. I think the value of the rice bowl is really good. I bought a bag of Proud Mary coffee as well that I'm excited to try.

Such a quaint and cute coffee shop in Capitol Hill! I was recommended it by a friend and would definitely come back :) I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was great as well as reasonably priced since coffee is becoming so pricey in Seattle :,) The staff were so friendly and so great in helping me out, the only reason I am deducting a star is that the WiFi was horrible as I couldn't connect there the whole time I was sat and had to use my own hot spot...

I came to Analog on a Sunday around 1:30pm! There was a decent crowd already here, and while it isn't the biggest space, there's counter seating as well as small tables in the back. There's an order line and line where you pay/pick up food so don't be confused (I know I was). I ordered a honey latte and egg sandwich ($15)! I highly recommend adding mushroom and making the sandwich spicy. I really enjoyed both items! The only issue I ran into was that their wifi was super spotty. However, the workers were really mindful about this and communicated that they've been trying to get it fixed. They restarted the router and then it was working just fine!! The cafe definitely has a cozy vibe which I love. I also really liked seeing people sit at the counter and unclip the newspapers to read, I haven't seen this idea anywhere else. I would come back but maybe not to study!

Avocado toast from B side with Analog latte

Analog is the coffee shop near my daughter's place and my frequent stop when visiting. It's great coffee shop with an awesome analog music selection. The staff is always friendly and prompt, prices are fair, and the food from B Side is great. As my daughter says, it's cheaper to buy the avocado toast from B Side than purchase all the ingredients to make it at home (in today's economy, she'll add).

    Espresso Tonic

For my second coffee of the day, I was feeling something fizzy and lightly sweet, so the ESPRESSO TONIC (5.60) was the perfect option. The drink came out super fizzy, and I was told to wait a bit before mixing the espresso with the tonic water. Overall, the drink satisfied my cravings but not the best I've had. I wasn't the biggest fan of the tonic water flavor, sadly. I would come back to try other drinks (like a latte or pour over) and get one of their many pastries if I'm back in the area!

analog was really busy over the sunny weekend but the baristas are quick and efficient! we ordered at the machine and our drinks were ready as we were paying, so essentially no wait for the drinks. i tried their seasonal orange blossom syrup in my latté which was actually so yum paired with the espresso. it was super light; hints of citrus but also floral-y, but not to the point where it overpowers the coffee. it was also not too sweet which i like.

Waiting in the line is worth the wait this is probably the best vegan avocado toast in town and I really appreciate the seasonings, the veggie bowl is also good. the coffee is also good.

    Avocado toast

The place was packed when we got there but thankfully there was still some seating on the back side patio. Go early if it's a weekend. The food was alright. I got an overpriced avocado toast and a latte. Service was friendly. The place was charming but would probably only go back for a coffee next time as food options were slim.

    Breakfast sandwich

The coffee here is so good, the latte was so smooth and delightful, and my breakfast sandwich was so unique, funky, rich, and well balanced that I was thoroughly surprised in the best way. Ten out of ten!

The grilled cheese was made to perfection the bread was fresh, thick, and delicious, and it was packed with cheese! The tomato soup was also delicious with a unique flavor. My only (very minor) complaint is that it was served in a cup, which made it hard to dip the grilled cheese. A bowl would've been much better for dipping! Because you never turn away a delicious PNW Salmon dish. The place is cute, mainly wooden, lots of plants inside (my allergies were killing me here hehe). Plenty of sitting areas and window views too. I got lucky to seat by a window to just enjoy the rainy view. Their Salmon toast was delicious! I asked for the cream cheese on the side because I cant have lactose but I still wanted to try their dish with all ingredients. So I dipped the slices a few times to try it all and omg its so perfectly paired. I totally recommend it! The coffee was ok. I had their gingersnap latte seasonal drink. I asked with only 1 pump of sweet and alternative milk. I was not impressed. I prefer black coffee haha but if you enjoy sweet drinks you may enjoy this one. I still finished it, so it wasn't terrible just not something I'd order again. Also, Idk why my coffee was served on a to-go cup. Maybe that took some of the joy of it? Overall, I recommend the this spot. Staff was friendly. The menu is vast. Sitting arrangements are great and cozy. Within walking distance from the convention center and a couple of the hotels in the area.

They sell themselves around being a holiday themed shop which isn't a bad thing, but when it's not the holiday season, the charm feels almost mismatched. All that to say, I love the idea, the space, and the vibes here but have often looked past it because of my perception with the branding. However, I will say their menu is great and the holiday joy is more of a supplement rather than a cover up or gimmick. I would comfortably visit Jollidaze for their drinks and get a working session. Wifi available, washroom (restrooms) available, and outlets available. Ube Phe Latte - rich, creamy, ube foam on top of a strong ca phe! There's also some ube milk, so a three layered drink. Both parts of ube were nutty, sweet, and paired with the ca phe amazingly. Strong Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk always hits but the ube mixture is a cherry on top. Up there with the other ube coffees around. Strawberry Matcha - honestly a simple no frills strawberry matcha. Smoothly whisked matcha, lightly sweetened strawberry puree, and a cup to be mixed in. Maybe more jam than other spots, which can help sweeten the drink and add some texture (chewiness), so might have to say above average.

The pour-over, however, was phenomenal: deep, rich, and full of berry notes. For food, we had: * Almond Croissant: Perfectly crispy on the outside. However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time!
