I expected it to be overcast! Street parking right in front of the cozy shop was easy. Inside, Overcast Coffee was warm and welcoming with comfy furniture, dim lighting, live plants, hipster/jazzy music, and a convenient restroom. Service was knowledgeable and efficient. I asked for sweetener on the side because I was warned that the matcha might be bitter since it's authentic... imported from Uji, Japan! The Matcha Latte with soy milk was perfect! The beautiful Latte art was a bonus! I understand that it's challenging to design something with soy milk, but this flower pattern was done so proficiently! Wow! Genuinely personable & efficient. Amazed how they work through all the voluminous orders whether for onsite or to go. They have been open about a year. Very glad to have stopped in & checked out yet another successful indie cafe in Seattle's vibrant Fremont neighborhood.

The iced dirty chai is also delicious-- the spices and flavor were really well balanced. For pastries, the cinnamon roll was delicious (I believe it had a cream cheese frosting). They had a selection of pastries and a few breakfast sandwich options as well. My friend got the bacon and egg sandwich and said it was a good choice!
