I finally made it out to Day Made Kaffe. I've walked by it a lot, and it's almost always busy. It was steady but not crazy busy around 11:15 AM. Most seats with tables were taken but the outside tables were free.... which is wild because it was a beautiful day. Anyway, I ordered the coffee affogato. I was the first person to order it that day, so they said it would take a few extra minutes. But really, it didn't take too long at all. The soft serve is as good as the reviews say. The espresso was delicious too. I would definitely get it again. The person at the counter was really nice and friendly as well. It's a great place to grab a cup of coffee or affogato. came here twice! once in their earlier days for a drink and once last week for their soft serve. i ordered a matcha my first time here and it was just ok, felt like it was more milk than matcha. i havent ordered it again so im not sure if it's the same now... their soft serve is fantastic though! smooth, creamy, just right. i had the seasonal tomato one and it was really good, a perfect combo of sweet and savory and tart. i would have never thought olive oil would be a good topping but it really added such a fun layer to the flavors. i hope they continue to do more collabs/fun seasonal flavors. the vibe of this cafe is unreal. so pretty, airy. good for wfh (they have wifi) or reading or chatting with friends. it's especially beautiful during golden hour! read more

This is a pretty chill cafe not too far a walk from the Waterfront! I got here on a Friday afternoon to a minimalistic interior with calm music, several tables split between two floors with people on their laptops, and a front counter where drinks are made and pastries are displayed. I came across this online when one of my Yelp friends got their affogato but when I asked about it, staff said they would bring it back in a couple of weeks as of this writing. Staff was also helpful in answering questions I had about the other drinks. It's only a 9-minute walk from the Union Station in Chinatown to here, so you could utilize parking in Chinatown itself and walk over if you'd like. I got their iced matcha latte with oat milk to drink inside. They use grassy, earthy ceremonial matcha here so that's a plus! It isn't sweet in any way and is in a relatively small cup for $8 before tax but you're not charged extra for oat milk as stated on their menu, which is yet another plus for those who are even slightly lactose intolerant. Stopped here for a breakfast work session. We got the Salvadorian Meat Quiche. It was a pastry item with meat and potatoes in it. It was delightful and perfect for a quick bite. The service was quick and easy. It is exactly as you would want a coffee shop to be. Ambiance was amazing too. Big enough tables for you to get some stuff done on your laptop. And free WiFi is always a plus. Quiet but low humming cafe music was very appropriate as well. The only reason why I won't give full 5 stars is because I wished the coffee was a bit hotter and it wasn't served in a glass cup. It felt like it cooled down too fast. But it was still delicious. Great coffee shop in pioneer square! There's two levels and a decent amount of seating. Lot of people had their laptops and were working inside. I got an iced coffee which was really great! And the BMO (I think that's what it was called). It was like a sourdough sandwich with butter and a thick slice of cheese in the middle. Super good actually! This spot is def on the expensive side though. My coffee was $8 which feels like a lot but the beans do seem very high quality! read more

This was a really lovely little spot! The staff were very helpful and they have vegan options for pastries. It seems to mostly be pan de selva options which I loved! The matcha tonic was really unique. I'm not sure if I'd order it again but I'd def order a matcha and pastry again. The inside was a bit cramped and noisy/busy, so not as ideal for sitting and reading as I'd have liked. They might be dog friendly as I saw a little outdoor table though so bonus points there if so! read more

I love this place! One of the few coffee shops in Seattle that seem to take their coffee seriously and is a specialty coffee shop serving thoughtfully sourced single origin beans and blends. The food offerings are limited, but what I love most is the rotation of espressos and pourover beans and additional options at an extra cost for more experimental/interesting varieties. The service here is always really friendly and it's in Pioneer Square, so it's definitely a stop to make if you're in the area. read more

What a lovely shop in Seattle! My partner and I were searching for coffee for our last morning in the city and I came across Day Made on the map. I loved that they had a GF pastry offering - the honey quesadilla - and I'm so glad we tried it. It was absolutely delicious and the (I'm assuming owner) who helped us was super knowledgeable about what the pastry was - which I always appreciate. It wasn't just a random thing on their menu, it seemed handpicked to be a delicious GF option. The latte was probably the best I had in the city and my boyfriend's plain drip coffee was a good brew, too. If we had more time to hang out, we would've, since the place was a perfect mix of cozy and vibrant, so it would be a lovely date or catch-up spot, too. read more

Day Made is the newest coffee bar in Pioneer Square. Located in the former Fruitsuper location. A Copenhagen-style kaffe bar with specialty pour overs, espresso, tea and soft serve. Also carrier of Coffee Collective beans. Visited this charming cafe yesterday with friends from work. I can see sitting here during lunch with a book, drawing or editing photos. Wonder natural lighting, clean lines. Counter seats along the window up front along with tables on the main floor. There is an upstairs I'll have to check out next time. I enjoyed my espresso tonic very slightly sweetened with just a dash of apple juice. I like that it's all about the taste of the coffee at this cafe you won't find any flavored syrups, you may add a bit of simple syrup if you desire. Also found out chatting with Ash the owner, that Day Made will be carrying pastries from Ben's Bread and my favorite treat from Pan de La Selva their semita cause it is reminiscent of a Copenhagen dessert. cute new coffee shop in pioneer square and it's worth the visit! ordered the apply espresso tonic (because as you know, I will always order a tonic if it's on the menu) and it was delish. I wish the tonic were bubblier, but that's on me. The flavor combination worked perfectly with Olympia's Sweetheart beans. The space was very cute, very hygge. Not that big, but enough space to take a seat with a friend for a casual chat. There's space upstairs too, but I didnt go up there to check it out. I came on a busy Saturday with a line out the door and there was only one person working the bar but she was extremely fast and kind! I ordered two iced ceremonial matcha latte ($8 each) and it was made right in front of you. It was made with premade matcha which isn't always a bad thing but I would ask for an extra gram or two next time. It doesn't come sweetened but you add the sweetener yourself on the condiment bar which i love because you could adjust how you like it.
