i'm writing this review about a year after trying mintish for the first time. i first discovered it before its opening. a friend sent me a post on their instagram account that was just a 'coming soon' post. from the images, i couldn't determine where it was opening, the only thing i knew is that it would be opening in capitol hill. i was ecstatic to see a palestinian coffee shop not only coming to seattle, but also to the neighbourhood that i was soon moving to. i first tried mintish with a friend. it wasn't long after their opening. the staff were extremely friendly. the inside was bustling, but the inside is decorated so nicely. levantine art on the walls, references to the keys back to palestine, and fairuz playing over the speakers... the joy i felt was unmatched. i probably made a fool of myself telling them how happy and excited i was to see a levantine coffee joint in my neighbourhood! to celebrate the occasion, i got an iced levantine latte with a knafeh cheesecake. it's definitely one of the best lattes i've ever had, period. my friend and i stored the cheesecake for later, but it was still delicious! now, as long as i'm in town, i'm there usually once a week on average. i switch between the levantine and demasc lattes -- they're both too good. everything on this menu is a hit, you truly can't go wrong, including the food. i'll order that labneh avocado toast when i'm wanting a snack, or take a cheesecake to go when my sweet tooth is calling. if you're visiting seattle and capitol hill is on the list, mintish is a must-stop. it is a story of palestinian success and excellence. read more

**vegetarian review** I went there on Sunday afternoon to work and eat. It was world cup final so it was quite busy. And loud. It's a cute space. The halloumi sandwich was delicious and the best item I ordered. I also got labni avocado toast which I think needed little more acid and salt. Zatar grilled cheese which was nice but not that special. And the pistachio croissant which was nice but felt a little old - like heavy on butter. Overall nice cafe and nice neighbourhood. We espied this spot from across the way when touring an apartment, and it literally looked like a utopia, super bustling with folks sitting outside bistro style and kids milling about. So on our weekly quest to try a new coffee shop we set our eyes on Mintish. And we happened to stumble here on a World Cup match day. The spot was chock full of Egypt fans, and spirits were high! We got greeted with cheery hellos from everyone behind the counter. Seems like a spot where folks take an ice pick to the Seattle Freeze. We came armed with books in hand so we headed over to the quieter area that's part of the apartment lobby to enjoy our Levantine latte, doppio, and Zataar croissant (I always lose in a faceoff against a pastry case). The latte was delish- sweet and spiced, and the doppio was fashionable and came beside a shot of sparkling water. The zataar croissant was a delicious savory cheesy guy. Seems there a seating flavor for everyone. Enjoy the morning/noon sun outside, feel the hustle and bustle in the main seating area, or come read/work in the lobby area. Would recommend! read more

Cool hangout spot with nice ambiance! Lots of seatings, outlet, wifi. Employees are really friendly and dedicated. I'd say the day I came was warm, and because they opened the big window overlooking the street, it was a bit stifled. I got pistachio latte and it was okay. I think it'd fit my taste more if the pistachio flavor has been stronger, because I mainly only tasted the coffee. Overall, nice place to catch up with friends and work. Excellent spiced chai! We tried the zaatar croissant and it was fantastic, very flaky, buttery, and the zaatar flavor paired perfectly with the pastry. The kunefah cheesecake was perfectly dense, rich, and creamy without being overly sweet. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with outdoor seating that makes it a great spot to relax, they are also pet friendly. As a bit of a coffee purist, I usually judge a coffee shop by one thing: the Americano. If they can make a black Americano smooth, balanced, and velvety without bitterness, they know what they're doing. Mintis Coffee House absolutely nailed it. Today I tried their house-made pistachio paste latte with oat milk -- and wow. First of all, anything pistachio immediately has my attention, but what impressed me most was that it wasn't overly sweet. Perfect for someone like me who prefers coffee-forward drinks over sugar bombs. The pistachio flavor was rich, subtle, and beautifully balanced with the espresso. And the Americano? Spot on. Velvety, smooth, deep, and incredibly well-crafted. There's a reason this place is always busy, packed, and has a line out the door. Between the exceptional coffee, Turkish-inspired menu, unique Turkish coffee variations, and incredible baked goods, it's absolutely worth the trek from the north end. Highly recommend. read more

I've never had such good coffee in this area until now. My friend recommended this spot for their pistachio latte, and as soon as I heard that I knew I had to come try it out. They have a decent amount of seating but it is a little cramped, so just be mindful of that. I got the iced pistachio latte with oat milk, which came out to around $9 (quite pricey, but all places are nowadays). The drink was SO GOOO though! The pistachio flavor was actually present, and the espresso was so smooth. It was the perfect level of sweetness all around too. We also tried their minitish cake which was decent but nothing too standout. I want to try their pistachio croissant and date latte next! read more

I'm still thinking about MINTISH's pistachio latte - it was so smooth and creamy. The pistachio flavor was so good, it didn't taste artificial at all. They also perfectly balanced the coffee and foam, the foam didn't melt as soon as I started drinking like other places. The staff here is also super friendly and quick, despite how busy they get. The cafe doesn't have much seating and can get crowded, so it may not be the best place to get work done. But I highly recommend checking MINTISH out for their coffee! read more

Love this coffee shop! Pastries are made in-house. Atmosphere is cute and cozy. Service is excellent. There is space to work with outlets available for laptops. One of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! This place really blew up, and for good reason. The service is super friendly, they are open late, and on late nights that I paid them a visit during Ramadan especially, the vibes were spectacular and so joyous and wonderful. It's nice to see more establishments open late and supporting the Cap Hill energy. I've been noticing more late night middle eastern/levantine coffee culture places opening as of late, and loving that this is happening. As for the drinks and food- both stellar. My favorite drink so far has been the pistachio latte, which they make cold foam / real pistachio paste in-house. I always order it half sweet though, as it's a lot. And cold! So the foam doesn't dissolve immediately. So nutty, delicious, creamy, and perfectly balanced with a vibrant pistachio flavor (and not artificial) like many other places have. I've also tried the tahini latte - I think it could use stronger tahini notes, but nothing I've tried here has been bad. The food is also awesome. My favorite is the pistachio croissant, especially when it's warmed up. The pistachio cookie is also good. I've tried the date cake too - it was okay for me, a little too sweet, but I could see someone with a strong sweet tooth loving this, especially with the syrup it comes with. The employees have been so so friendly too! That also brings in the great energy to this space. read more

Heard good things about this new coffee shop and when I was in the area for an event I finally tried it. The coffee did not disappoint! I ordered the Levantine latte with oat milk and it was delicious. I also got a za'atar croissant and a lemon mint cake to take home. Both were excellent. The cake was flavorful and moist. The service was very friendly! I even asked if I could leave a poster for an event and they said they would try to find some space for it at the counter. The aroma of the place pulls you in. The friendliness of the staff makes you feel like you are at home. The coffee is smooth. I ordered the pistachio latte and it was warm and velvety with notes of roasted pistachio and caramelized sweetness. Each sip was rich and nutty, balanced by a silky espresso finish. The croissants are flaky and buttery with the perfect exterior. The avocado toast was just as delicious. Fresh and bright ingredients but I just wish it had a little more avocado on it. But still a complete perfect bite. Tucked away on a quiet street in capital hill, parking is available on the surrounding streets. There is one ADA parking spot close by. This is amazing how a new indie cafe located on tree lined street one block from Broadway felt like a restful oasis (9/14/25). I savored a Leventine latte and a moist date cake. I sat at the counter facing the sidewalk. It was pleasant having the windows open and just enjoyed being onsite. I look forward to a return visit to try other menu items, especially the sandwiches. Learning how they started to open revealed their patience and eagerness to bring uniqueness to this area. I learned Levant because of this store. They are living up as a rising sun as well. The place is decorated with creativity, and many people enjoy the open window. The flavor of Turkish coffee is strong, intense, rich, and aromatic. I prefer it black, but I've heard other customers rave about the flavored options. All the signature coffees I've tried, as well as those I've overheard others trying, have been outstanding. The pistachio cheesecake is unlike American or Japanese cheesecake; it is rich, and you can taste the pistachio. My friend, who isn't typically a cheesecake person, enjoyed theirs a lot! The date cake lives up to its description as a rich spiced date cake. I love dates, and if you do too, you will fall in love with this cake. It took me three days to finish! Lovely interior with good seating options. There was even a comfy bench, which is rare in Seattle. The sandwich and coffee were super good! The staff are very sweet and it was lit for a Sunday when I was in with nowhere to sit down, it was so busy. Finally, a cafe match made in heaven! I'm not a coffee enjoyer but I do love cafe spaces and Mintish is a new favorite go-to. I went with my partner to Mintish to get some work done and to try a new place out and all of my standards were met and exceeded: 1. Great beverages and pastries! I don't love coffee, so the abundance of iced tea and refresher options are a must for anyone who feels the same. I got the blueberry mojito refresher and it was a delight. The same praise goes to the two croissants, I liked being able to choose from a sweet or a savory option. 2. Seating, outlet, and Wi-Fi offered! If you plan on getting some work done, Mintish is a great space for that and more. It was a very comforting space with an even balance of talking to productivity. The staff are also extremely kind! Their pistachio latte was really good. It was a nice hot beverage during this fall season. Caught the light rail up to Capitol Hill. A colorful tree-like art piece is right next to the cafe. Chihuly maybe? I was greeted when I walked in and the dining area was already packed. Lots of laptop campers. They might need a bigger space in the future to accommodate their growing customer base. I wasn't planning on sticking around but a couple of customers got up as soon as I grabbed my drink and I was able to sit for a bit. They're definitely on my top 5 Capitol Hill coffee shops. There is no ambiance to speak of, it's on the bottom floor of an apartment (or condos) building and has all the charm of an insipid residential add-on.
