Great coffee. The barista that served us today has worked there for four years and was super friendly. I orders the cafe nico (?), which had some cinnamon and orange zest. It was quite nice. Recommend checking it out!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was a nice coffee shop. It was very spacious inside with many seating options to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordering was very seamless. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got a Latte with oat milk. At first I wanted to take it to go but the ambiance was nice inside, so I just stayed in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I should've just said "for here". Anyhow, I secured a nice window seat and enjoyed my drink and the view. My latte was good. For me, I like medium roast and it tasted more towards a medium-dark roast. It wasn't bad, my latte was delicious. It was just a little different than I was used to. The drink came together very well, the oat milk was creamy and the espresso was very rich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all, I think this is a cool place to work and catch up with friends. I might read or journal here, but depending on the day and the lighting it can get a little dim for that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd come back again.

The Cafe Nico was sublime, a smooth flavor with a hint of orange. Purchased some whole beans for my morning espresso. Espresso Vivace is deserving of every accolade.

Vivace espresso "Ooh La La". Every time my tastebuds desire that taste of a robust caffeine fix , I stop at VIVACE on Broadway! Definallty the emerald city's smoothest java shot around. What's amazing is theres no acidic taste ruining your beverage , just a smooth euphoric rush of caffeine coursing through your body. I normally get an iced latte to get my geyser gushing but a straight shot does happen occaisionly. Outside of the superior taste the caffeine kick back is like a NASA ROCKET BOOSTER piloting Artemis II... Now the hired hands are fined tuned & trained baristas extracting the brown juices from local roasted beans. BTW VIVACE roasts its own coffee, specializing in a Northern Italian style developed by founder David Schomer since 1992... This is why you'll love its taste... [[HIGHLIGHT]]VIVACE's interior space is very large for small & medium size gatherings with a hipster eclectic taste of furnishings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also beware free WiFi if you're a lounge lizard is available...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]During good weather days outside seating is available for the rare days the gods allow Seattle sun to shine down upon us. Table & chairs on sidewalk allows you front row seating to the freak show for entertainment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not much more to say, so grab a shot of caffeine!

10s across the board for Espresso Vivace Roasteria! Highlights: - Best coffee experience I had in 2025 - [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great people watching[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great location[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - Best customer service I received during my trip to Seattle - [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great overall vibe and quality product, so I ordered two drinks[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Best coffee in Washington. I have been coming to Vivace since e they had their coffee roaster by Cal Anderson. After a long day, Vivace hits the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chill music sets a nice vibe and the service is friendly and welcoming into their establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Posters on the wall showcase local flavor and they have a rack with publications so you can peruse through and may find somewhere else to venture to while up on cap hill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Take home a bag of their coffee beans, but good luck getting it to taste the same as these artisans behind the counter make day in and day out.

Espresso Vivace is a Seattle classic! I've never had bad coffee here. Their signature Cafe Nico is a must-try and my go-to espresso beverage of choice here.

I tried this based off of a recommendation from a peer. This is a no frills, quality coffee shop. You order with a barista, they make it on the spot, you pay, then go on about your day. I got an iced latte with simple syrup and it was fantastic. Their espresso was so so good. I bought a bag of beans on my way out to enjoy at home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is quite spacious and seems like a great spot to either do work or catch up with some people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Thanks a latte Espresso Vivace Roasteria... now I can't stop thinking about you Street parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dimmed spot with lots of seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried the White Velvet and infamous Nico. Both were amazing and smooth. I wish they owned an oven or microwave to heat up the pastries. Squash bread was yummy and not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You clean up after yourself once you're done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So I have heard about this shop and decided to try it out. Lucked out with a street spots (use pay to park app for 50 cents for 30 minutes). Probably drove the Barnstable crazy with my questions. Ordered lavender cold brew and added milk. Delicious loved the super smooth coffee. Also bought a pound of beans. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cool vibes inside. Light music that still let you have a conversation which I appreciate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Oh my goodness. Interior was spacious airy. A no frills spot. This was drop dead amazing. I have never had my tastebuds tickled in such fashion. Amazing and the barista was stellar. She knew what she was doing making latte art with tiny details. Such a professional. I will only be back here for my coffees and showing for out of towners. There's something deeply special about their coffee roasts. Euphoria in a cup.

This coffee shop was recommended as the coffee shop I had to visit. The Nico was the recommended drink so early Sunday morning I made my way up. I walked in and while I waited I checked out the pastries. I was greeted and I ordered one of the pastries and my drink hot. Service was good and as efficient as they could be as they were busy. My drink came out and it was delicious. A perfect sip as I walked back in the snow. A spacious area for people to enjoy their coffee and get some work done.

Loved the vibe, friendly & mellow staff, and the seating area space. There are long tables to work at, comfy seating with games, and chairs to enjoy your coffee with friends. I ordered a drip to try out...did not disappoint. My kids ordered some iced coffee - sorry I wasn't paying attention when they ordered - and they were delicious! We did order a few food items to share for a snack but they were gone before I could snap a pictures. The coffee was perfect, no hint of burnt flavor. We came in on a rainy morning and found seats next to the glowing fireplace. Talk about cozy! Massive windows overlook the chaotic market below. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, a few food items, and snacks. My salted caramel latte was pretty incredible. This might sound cheesy but as I drank it, I really couldn't believe how exquisite it was. Very lightly sweetened, unbelievably smooth, the foam holding its shape all the way to the last sip, and that little touch of salt tying everything together. No joke, possibly the best latte I've ever had. Back to the space, it's dark, warm, and sexy, with soft gold and amber accents. It reminded me so much of the way I designed my own home so of course we ended up staying much longer than planned. We felt so at home. So if you're a coffee lover, you need to find this spot and experience it for yourself. One word - transcendent.

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups.
