I saw this place recommended on Reddit and was overall happy with the coffee here. It definitely is more focused on the bitter part of the coffee but it definitely is bold. Out of most other coffeeshops this place is on the lower priced side. The main downside was the service. She wasn't the most personable to say the least but I guess the coffee is the more important part of this more "hole in the wall" kind of coffee establishment. I did not think this tiny little window shop would rock as hard as it did! We tried to enter then realized it was just a walk up lol. They had a classic menu then a couple seasonal specials. This spot was located near our hotel so I wanted to give it a try! I saw from one of the photos on Yelp that there was this burnt creme latte. I asked the worker what that was and I forgot exactly but she said it was a combination of vanilla, hazelnut and I think something else. It sounded good so I ordered it. My drink was good, nothing amazing but like a regular latte. I liked how it had a nice color to it (not too milky or light). My drink came out fast and I noticed the line got long afterwards. When I was attending a convention at the Summit building of the convention center, I went to Monorail a few times. Seattle is supposed to have good coffee, but the coffee at my hotel was meh, and I needed a fix. I found the service to be always fast and friendly. There would occasionally be a line, but they would move through it really quickly. Everything was made to order. My friend was sad they don't have drip coffee, but since I prefer mine to be freshly made, it was great. I tried a cortado, an oat milk latte, and an iced oat milk latte, and all three were really good. I didn't hang out in front but they do have some tables nearby. read more

I will say, I really like the flavor of the espresso here and can tell it was good quality but the fact that I chose the pistachio flavor really affected my opinion of the drink. I didn't love the syrup as it was more the artificial pistachio flavor, as opposed to the flavor of the nut itself like in a pistachio butter. I ordered a cortado and sister ordered the ube matcha. The cortado was delicious and the matcha was perfect with subtle sweetness. Service was impeccable.
