Cold Brew

After spending some time at Pike Place, my friend and I were in the mood for coffee. We did a bit of research and decided to check out Monorail Espresso. This location is more of a stand with no interior, making it a nice grab-and-go spot. COLD BREW (12 OZ) - 4.75 It was strong but had lasting, bitter after taste that made me think it was over-steeped. Unfortunately, I didn't like the drink and didn't finish it. My friend got the hazelnut latte and couldn't taste much hazelnut flavor initially and thought the espresso was bitter. Overall, seemed like the coffee was a miss for both of us this time around.

This spot was located near our hotel so I wanted to give it a try! I saw from one of the photos on Yelp that there was this burnt creme latte. I asked the worker what that was and I forgot exactly but she said it was a combination of vanilla, hazelnut and I think something else. It sounded good so I ordered it. My drink was good, nothing amazing but like a regular latte. I liked how it had a nice color to it (not too milky or light). My drink came out fast and I noticed the line got long afterwards. So it's definitely a popular place that is worth to check out!

Coffee: 5/5 great quality coffee. In a busy city location. Price is on the more affordable side. The coffee aroma was deep and definitely delicious. Service: the shop is a tiny that's located in a big building. You mostly have to do to go, since there are only 2-3 tables outside, which is right beside the roads. There were locals and many tourists waiting in line, but it took very short! Would definitely come back. Ambiance: busy city setting. Love the vibe

Great coffee window (no seating, no inside) with solid Seattle coffee. They know what they're doing!! Good mocha, not too sweet. Perfect cappuccino- hit the spot!

When I was attending a convention at the Summit building of the convention center, I went to Monorail a few times. Seattle is supposed to have good coffee, but the coffee at my hotel was meh, and I needed a fix. I found the service to be always fast and friendly. There would occasionally be a line, but they would move through it really quickly. Everything was made to order. My friend was sad they don't have drip coffee, but since I prefer mine to be freshly made, it was great. I tried a cortado, an oat milk latte, and an iced oat milk latte, and all three were really good. I didn't hang out in front but they do have some tables nearby.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The baristas are awesome, and the coffee is great. There is limited seating outside, but great to take to go!

This is a great, quick coffee spot in Downtown Seattle, and honestly it was the best tasting coffee throughout our trip in Seattle. FYI - there's no indoor seating--t's really just a small booth/kiosk with fast service to get you back on your way. There is some outdoor seating too for those wanting to linger a bit that we saw people using as well. We tried the lavender latte here, and it was really good! It was our first time having a lavender latte, and we were amazed at how well the floral/earthy flavor blended well with the latte. Plus, the quality of the coffee beans is very noticeable here. They had many other options as well, including teas, small bites, and some fun looking merch. Definitely check out Monorail Espresso if you are in Seattle!

Monorail Coffee gets an instant 5 out of 5!!! The coffee is probably one of the best in downtown Seattle!! It's a small place, but this spot makes a delicious and very tasty coffee!! The temperature of the coffee is perfect....the froth has the perfect micro-bubbles balance and an excellent espresso shot!!! The service is very nice and friendly. I think you're going to love this spot too!!

Good latte! Their foam was so silky and smooth! Not to mention their art was so cute! Their London fog didn't have much flavor but their latte flavors were very good! Try marshmallow if you want something fun! Good and fast service!

Stunning!! I came here 3 days in a row while in Seattle and it was perfect. My first day I went to the window and asked the barista for a recommendation in which he offered the burnt crème latte and I never looked back. Well priced and quick service and never a wait even at peak hours before work and super friendly baristas! Not too mention the flavor of the latte was stunning. Such a cute spot and loved my coffee everyday.

8oz iced americano with a little cream

Prior to visiting Seattle, I saw some random Instagram story where this place was listed as someone's favorite coffee spot. I had never heard of this place before but figured it would be worth a visit. It was a surprisingly warm day in Seattle and I was craving an iced americano. This place was a short walk from Pike's Place but well worth it. Excellent americano and priced well when compared to places like Storyville. Definitely a must stop when in the area.

April W.

Yum! Stumbled across this cute coffee spot while walking through the area. There was a line so I figured whatever they served would be worth the wait. Thus, I stopped by on my way back and grabbed a vanilla latte and service was pleasant and efficient. I quite enjoyed the my drink and hope I have another chance to return during my time in the city.

4.5 stars. Came here on a beautiful sunny afternoon and everyone seemed to be in a great mood. The location has some outdoor seating and friendly baristas. Espresso was good as well. I wish they had spoons as I had to drink a little of the top to be able to mix but given the location that would be difficult to give out full silverware. Nice prices as well given its downtown location

I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure!

The employees are also friendly and helpful. Prices here are a bit steep, but drinks are high quality.

I first tried the turon matcha which I thought was good but had a mild banana flavor. I was expecting more of a caramelized flavor but I still thought it was good. The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. Overall, the matcha here is smooth and both drinks weren't too sweet.

We went around 11 in the morning, and it was PACKEDDDD. The inside was completely full, and there was even a line out the door, so I honestly didn't think our group of 4 would find seating. The line moved really fast tho, and we managed to grab one of the viet style low table and chair setups that you'd typically see on the street back home, I liked it a lot. Drinks: 1 phe muoi $6.75 1 matcha einspanner $8.75 1 earl grey matcha $9 1 banana pudding matcha latte $11 1 hojicha latte $6.50 Their matcha was smooth, no astringency, I wished it was more matcha taste bc it's a little light but that's just me bc I like umami matcha. Food: Phe Sliders $13 MUSTTTT GET!! My group absolutely devoured these. The rolls were soft and airy, and somehow the sliders still felt light and not too heavy. The aioli was sooooo yum we scrape every bits of it lolllll. I'd honestly come back just for this dish alone. xoi chay $15- Really good breakfast option. The sticky rice was soft and chewy, and all of the toppings came together really well. Easily my new favorite spot.
