It's alright. Matcha quality seems good & color is good but strawberry matcha was way too sweet and I didn't like that the strawberry was like a syrup and not a jam- just hides the taste of matcha completely IMO and not my taste. Service was soso, cashier was pretty friendly but the workers were just all standing around talking to like a group of their friends and we waited outside the store because it wasn't very inviting (the vibe in there). Very small space. They were sold out of a lot of things. I've been to their Tacoma location as well and enjoyed that more. Wouldn't recommend this one.

Good new matcha store to try! I had their strawberry matcha with vanilla foam and it was good! The drink was on the sweeter side which I liked. I personally like matcha on the less bitter side, which was the case. The service was good! The employees were nice and helpful and the drinks were quick to be made! The ambiance of the store was nice. It was nicely decorated but the place is pretty small with no seating inside. However, it is connected to a big building and there are seats there.

I know they were in their soft opening for a bit and maybe they are still ironing out the kinks, but I'm a bit disappointed with this place. I walked by many times over the last few months, from the time the store was fully vinyled up, to the time they peeled it back partially and revealed the interior. They'd look open -- I'd peep in and see milk and supplies out on the counter, tips in the jar etc but no one at the counter and the door locked. The next day, I'd get a drink at another cafe, then walk past Jin and saw customers entering. The day I finally made it in, I was excited! But then I entered and wasn't greeted as 2-3 employees were standing together talking. When the barista approached the register, she didn't give me much time to look at the menu before immediately asking me for my order. I took a few seconds to decide and by the time I looked up, she'd walked away and started back talking with her coworkers. I got the Hot Girl Matcha, which had honey, olive oil and sea salt. The foam had a nice flavor, but aside from that...the actual drink was essentially just green milk with no distinct matcha taste. If they truly use 4 grams like their menu *claims*, they need to consider decreasing their cup size because the matcha is getting too diluted. My drink was about $9 and I don't think it was worth it at all.

This might be my new favorite flavored matcha in the area! As soon as I heard of the misugaru matcha I knew I had to try it. I love anything grainy and nutty (but not actual nuts since I'm allergic haha) and this drink spoke to me. I got the misugaru matcha iced, with oat milk. It was a super vibrant green and the flavor was absolute perfection. Nutty and rich, just the right amount of sweetness, and you could still taste the quality matcha after. The drink was also a generous size compared to other matcha spots around here. I would absolutely come back for this drink!

Good quality matcha served here and prob one of the best I've had! They had their soft opening this past Friday. Good thing we came around 10:30 since there was a line forming as a result! I got the Misugaru which is a staff favorite! Highly recommend.

Stopped by for their soft opening and am excited to try more. It's a small shop attached to a corporate building, no seating inside unless you count the chairs in the building lobby. I got the misugaru matcha, which was tastier than I expected. I'm not the biggest fan of flavored matcha drinks, but misugaru goes well with matcha without overwhelming the flavor. Service was friendly and the cafe is well decorated.

I went here during their soft opening on a Saturday around 12:15pm after one of my besties heard about this location opening up on social media. This location is inside the Puget Sound Plaza, with no designated seating for the place except out in the lobby near the elevators and a chirashi bowl restaurant. If looking at just the inside where the staff are making your drinks, it's modern and cutely decorated. You order up at the front, and there's menus around, one at the door and another to the immediate right-hand side of the counter which is also a mirror made of glass... I got their matcha-banana, which is their ceremonial okumidori matcha with banana puree on top. I asked for oat milk, which added another .75 to the $8.50 cost on it. Matcha, for the most part, is apparent throughout the drink, and the banana puree blends well. It's not overly sweet and is comparable to some other banana matcha offerings throughout the Seattle area. My drink was pretty deep green, so the matcha is there, though it is a smidge weaker than those places. Not that I prefer straight-up matcha, the banana puree doesn't take away from it. I do love that they have a ton of variations on their fun drinks, with the matcha-banana being one of them. My friend also got another fun drink - their hot girl matcha - for his sis, who enjoyed the drink. Happy to have another great matcha place around downtown Seattle! The misugaru and houji-banana are gonna be my next choices when I come back, hopefully for their grand opening.

Went during their soft opening and was happy to see that there was no line! It's a really small shop connected to a lobby with seating area but it's pretty small. It's decorated pretty cute though. Overall the drinks were good, I left like the matcha flavor in all were low and I feel Like you can tell through the color. I felt the hot matcha girl had the most matcha flavor, the strawberry matcha I think is made with strawberry milk so it's not super strong in strawberry flavor as I'd like but if you don't like that it's not bad. I debated a 3 but I felt like they had fun and different flavors than other spots which I think gives it its edge, the matcha flavor is a bit weak though for me. Overall mot bad, not sure I'd go out of my way for it but great spot if you're near by.

We ordered the banana matcha and the hojicha banana latte. Both were delicious! They were friendly and the little place is very cute, though can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention.

Great place to get Matcha in the downtown Seattle area. Cute small shop that was very convenient. They have a large menu of unique different types of Matcha. Friendly service, I highly recommend and I would come back.

They're still following their soft opening hours (closing at 3 instead of 4) as a heads up. The matcha was good and seemed well made - I had the lavender matcha with soy milk. They are also still using their soft open menu too as a heads up. The servers were fine - just normal and polite. Their space is off the lobby of a building, so the seating is in the public lobby area. I would come back and try the other matchas, but would come early in case the hours still don't match up.

Really enjoyed their atmosphere and expansive menu featuring so many flavors and flavor profiles!! I tried the staff pick Misugaru which was perfectly nutty and yummy. I would love to try the hot girl matcha which features salt flakes and olive oil. It is a pricy matcha costing close to 9 dollars after tax but the portion + flavor make up for it!

Came in on a sunny Saturday morning and was greeted by very kind staff. The soft opening menu has a lot of options, and luckily me and my friends were able to try out three. Overall the matcha mixes were on the lighter side, which some of us preferred. While I usually prefer a darker mix, I really enjoyed my Misugaru matcha and definitely would come back to try more of the menu.

Vietnamese coffee is typically made with robusta beans, which have higher caffeine and a heavier, almost thick mouthfeel compared to arabica. I ordered their Hanoi Egg coffee and also their Kettle Corn coffee, from the server's recommendations. I found myself noticeably surprised by how there was bittnerness, but it was not too harsh. There were some also some chocolatey undertones in the Egg Hanoi, with the egg pudding. I would have preferred less ice, less egg pudding and more drink. Overall though, it did not take away the flavor for me. As for the vibe, there was Kpop music playing in the background when I visited and multiple tables already occupied from people working on their laptops or sitting down to talk. The aesthetic is minimalist chic - steel tables with that warehouse feel. They do not have pastry options so don't come hungry! Drink: (4/5) I was headed to a date nearby but was a bit early so I decided to check out Plus 84 for the first time. As a good baseline, I decided to get the Hanoi egg coffee. I also just visited Vietnam in April where I had lotss of egg coffee so I was really excited to try it back home. For starters, the coffee here has great depth. It's sweet but not overbearingly so. It also has that caramelized note that I usually look for. I'd just say that I wish their egg cream had more flavor. At least in the drink I had, the cream seemed more for texture since it didn't have much flavor by itself. I still enjoyed it though and would definitely get it again. Service: (5/5) Super kind people and I barely had to wait for my order. Other notes: If you're new to Viet coffee, please do not chug it or drink it in one sitting. It is powerful stuff. It's the kind of drink you leisurely sip on!

Relatively low sweetness, although I think it was right amount. If you want more pumps you can ask for more (I think? They may not recommend it, having worked at a cafe myself, but worth a try if you have a sweet tooth). The color was gorgeous both unblended and blended, the right shade of green. The flavor was rich, well harmonized, delicious. I finished it quickly because I absolutely despise having the ice melt the drink, which speaking of, there was a good amount of ice in it. If you're someone who isn't a fan of ice packed drinks, you may not like it. For me, I'm drinking a MATCHA latte, not a matcha LATTE, so I don't mind. You can always ask for light ice but I don't know if this cafe is the type to compensate with adding more milk or doing the same volume with less ice, leading to a not full drink. In the latter case, you might as well keep the ice. I bought the matcha powder for $34.99. For 30 grams, WOW quite expensive, but I'm far from Yoka and I was thinking this would let me bring the Yoka experience home. I have my own matcha powder but I was curious what their signature blend tasted like. Whisked at home, I still got that rich green top with a dense microfoam (for my matcha, I did 3g matcha to 35g of hot water). I noticed that the powder was REALLY fine, you basically don't need to sift it. It was delicious, not too different from the one made by the Yoka baristas other than the sweetness- I added 27g of my own homemade syrup which idk what that equates to in pumps, but it was splendid. Got a good mouth feel, some mild powdery-ness despite the water ratio + amount of powder used, but perhaps I didn't whisk enough. Was the matcha powder worth it? For sating my curiosity, yes. However, I think it would be best if you went to Nana's and got their matcha powder for 100g priced at $60. Cute location, idk what the ambiance would be like, especially during a busy weekend, but in the morning it was nice and peaceful. I'll probably take my cousins here when they come up to Seattle.

However, I think I would skip the gruyere pull apart pastry next time. I usually don't mind gruyere in savory pastries, but this one was especially greasy.
