I came for the soft opening and it was beautiful inside! The staff are very friendly and offered to give recs. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte (~$9) with whole milk and half sweetness and it was perfect! I like how there wasn't too much ice as well. S/o to the amazing worker that saw me staring at the guava raspberry pop tart and handed one to me while waiting for my drink

So glad to see they finally have a brick and mortar location! They've done a great job with the spot where one of my favorite candle places used to be. There's plenty of types of seating including couches, bar stools, large table, and small tables. Great lighting near the windows. The menu has some classic mat has, more special options with cream tops, and then not matcha things. They have oat or corn milk too which was nice. They were very kind and gave me a 1/2 lavender 1/2 earl grey matcha since I wanted to try it out. It was good! I will definitely be back!

I love this place! Mina was so nice and welcoming. The place itself is clean and great for dining in. The banana pudding matcha was probably the best-tasting one. It was thick and creamy, and you can actually taste the bananas. The umami of the matcha complemented the sweetness of the pudding very well. I highly recommend this place and would come back!

Cute new matcha place! The people running it were very friendly and sweet. The matcha itself was strong tasting although a little on the pricey side for the amount you get. Would go back and try some other matcha drinks +flavors in the future once they've gotten more settled in.

Worst matcha I've ever had in Seattle and I've had many. I'm so sad cause I really was excited and told so many people about it but was extremely disappointed. Both matchas tasted horrible (the double and the strawberry) my husband also couldn't drink it. We took one sip and threw it away. So unfortunate as they were also $10 each. :(

A hidden matcha café that just opened near the U-District, slightly outside of the Ave. The interior of Mina's Matcha is really nice--perfect for getting some work done if you're able to snag a seat. I stopped by right after their first soft opening. There was a line, but it moved quickly. What I ordered: Strawberry Matcha Latte Chai Latte Parking can be hit or miss, but you might get lucky and find free street parking nearby. I can't wait to try the other matcha drinks they have to offer like the ube matcha!

I ordered a 12oz strawberry matcha latte and was told it contained 6g of matcha. With that amount, the matcha flavor should be pretty pronounced -- color, aroma, and depth included. Instead, it was overwhelmingly strawberry and very sweet, with almost no detectable matcha. For a $9 drink, that was disappointing. Hope they revisit the ratios.

I got their classic matcha with a sweet cream top! Definitely one of the best matcha spots that's opened in Seattle recently! Price is good compared to others. I'm doing work here and it's the perfect space! Great WiFi and aesthetic spot to be productive! This is my new go to since it's very close to where I live Service excellent.

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

I looked up their yelp page as well as their Instagram and knew I had to come just to get one of their lattes with their amazing foam art! They have a variety of waffles and sandwiches on the menu that seemed appetizing however because I got here after 3:30 the kitchen was closed but they have a variety of pre-made burritos and sandwiches that you could still buy. I love that they have a huge variety of non-dairy milks including soy which is my favorite. I wanted to get the turmeric latte however I mentioned that I couldn't wait to see the foam art and the Baristas told me that due to the light color of the latte, it would be difficult to see the foam art so I instead ordered the red velvet latte with soy and it was as delicious as it was cute! I also got the egg and sausage cheese burrito and it was chock full of eggs and sausage... very filling. The decor and seating options are plentiful upstairs and downstairs. They also have free pineapple infused water for guests to drink which I appreciate. Seems like a popular spot for UW students to do work as there are lots of outlets for their laptops.

I was surprised that the cake was so cheap around $4 but after the first bite, it tasted like it was from a Safeway bakery, which made me feel a bit scammed. The latte was a very light roast, so the coffee flavor was barely noticeable and it felt more like drinking hot milk. On the positive side, the servers were sweet and friendly. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our drinks, and the place was packed around 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
