Coffee and matcha were amazing! Service is great and friendly. Table was limited as there were many people taking space with their laptops.
Someone told me this was the best cappuccino in the city, i may agree! Only wish it was double the size!! Reasonable-ish prices (understand that specialty coffee is expensive these days with import taxes, etc.) Space was very open, lots of natural light and tables for working. Music wasn't too loud, etc. I will be back for a study/work day. Parking: street parking/neighborhood. recommend walking around the neighborhood, cute shops nearby.
I had this place bookmarked since April 2024. It has a very vibey, work-at a cafe kind of atmosphere almost everyone was on their laptop working. There were two baristas. One made the Americano, which unfortunately tasted very burnt. I ordered a latte, which was decent. The same barista who made the Americano also spilled some coffee while bringing it over. I expected him to offer a refill, but he didn't and didn't seem very interested. The latte was good, but overall, considering the price, I felt it was just okay. I don't think I'd personally go back again unless someone else really wanted to try the place.
Yesssss! I know Seattle is known for being a "coffee" city but There's just so many coffee shops that I find underwhelming. This place is so close to perfect. I love the entire vibe of this place. Its got this modern coffee shop thing going where there's place for people to sit and chat or even just chill if they wanted to. The gear they have hear is amazing. They can make awesome coffee and I think the baristas here are well trained to make good coffee. I got a cortado which usually gives me a good feel or the coffee and it was pretty tasty! If anything It was a little over extracted and I think it would have been better grinding just a tad coarser. Of course lastly, the service was top notch. Even though they were busy they didn't rush me and was able to talk aboutt some of the coffees they were serving.
After our first coffee stop, we wanted a second coffee so my friend and I went to Santo Coffee, which was incredibly lively with lots of customers and friendly baristas. They roast their own beans but they also source from other coffee roasters like Black & White from NC. The interior was nice and clean with lots of seating and tables. CORTADO - 5.15 This isn't their specialty, but they make a fantastic cortado here. The light roast espresso shot was pulled well and paired beautifully with the steamed milk. Initially, there wasn't much of an after taste, but as I continued the drink, the depth of the coffee became more prominent. Overall, really fantastic cortado with an intricate latte art on such a small glass. I ended up coming back to Santo Coffee the next day with two other friends who also enjoyed the coffee. I would definitely recommend Santo Coffee for a good cortado and a good ambiance.
Modern yet tranquil high end coffee shop. The employees seemed to be of European descent but the inside had a clean Japanese vibe. I had the house iced latte and a morning roll (a sweet flakey mini croissant adjacent pastry). The coffee was dark, smooth, and easy to drink. The roll was also soft and carefully made. There's tons of inside open seating accommodating groups or individual travelers. The Wi-Fi was slightly weak here, which kind of cut into a few chores I wanted to tackle over breakfast, but otherwise it was a very relaxing work space.
Neat space rocking a cool, contemporary design. I sat on the bench along the window and enjoyed a drink on a marble pedestal table. My cappuccino was nicely espresso-forward with a fruity taste but smooth and well-balanced bitterness. I bought a bag of the Santo Blend beans and was informed it normally comes with a complimentary drip coffee; it was near closing and they were out of drip at the time. That's alright, my pour over the next morning perfectly captured the same flavor profile.
Love love the coffee, perhaps the best I've had in the Seattle area. Shows the barista puts in a lot of effort and thought into each cup, the aroma the espresso and the flavor are all 10/10
Ah, Santo Coffee -- this spot holds a soft place in my heart. I'm not usually someone who studies outside of home, but this was the place I ended up going if I ever left my house while prepping for my boards many moons ago (and they went great!) They roast their own beans, and while they're not my absolute favorite roaster in Seattle, they still deliver a reliably good cup. What really makes Santo stand out is how it brings together all the elements that matter: - Friendly, genuinely kind staff - Well-designed space with good natural light - Solid coffee that's both approachable and well-made - Great location in Roosevelt, close to Whole Foods and plenty of restaurants This is what keeps Santo in my recommended list of coffee shops in Seattle
A high end coffee shop, that is just a small drive from the Green Lake path. We were lucky to discover this on a on a rainy day. Though, it was PACKED, we managed to get seating at the bar, and have a nice conversation with the barista. Every cup is carefully crafted with the perfect balance of coffee to syrup to milk ratio. The baristas were SKILLED at latte art, and took their time with every order. Appreciate this place and will be back!
In an unassuming location, Santo Coffee is on the first floor of an apartment building. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, this is the perfect place for a relaxing cup of coffee. And Santo delivers. With Colombian inspiration, Santo's coffee is bold and strong. They also have a few speciality lattes featuring Colombian flavors. I got the Panela latte and it was great! Sweet, layered with warm spices, and balanced with smooth espresso. They are fairly busy in the mornings, but service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth the visit and it may be one of the best in Roosevelt!
I have been to this coffee place a couple of times the coffee itself is quite scrumptious. There is some seating but they can fill up really quickly. If you are lucky and can grab a spot on the couch it is so comfortable and a great place to relax. The service is always quick and there is a punch card for rewards so if you visit frequently I would definitely recommend. I wish there were more food options but the coffee itself definitely makes it a spot to visit.

Santo is easily one of my top favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The coffee quality is exceptional and the baristas are always genuinely welcoming. Their signature Panela Latte is an absolute must-try and my go too but you can't go wrong with a classic latte from here. Their drinks are always consistent and not overly sweet. I love open space and the natural lighting that comes. The cafe does however tend to get crowded so most of the time I've had to take my drink to go. If you are able to get a seat I think it's a great place to get your work done as the cafe has a very relaxed environment. read more
One of my remote work cafe spots for whenever I feel like getting out of the house. My favorite drink I like to order is the raspberry mocha - smooth coffee complimented with the subtle sweet chocolate and the tart raspberry. It's the perfect drink to sip and savor while getting some work done. Keep in mind there isn't toooo much space in this shop so would recommend coming at peak times to avoid crowds. read more

I've come here twice in a row since finding this spot. Personally not a big fan of their coffee, but keep coming back for the ambience and amazing service. I love getting work done here and the vibes are so good. I did really like the prickly pear green tea but the coffee was too bitter for my taste. Also the sandwiches r $10 but look and taste like gas station sandwiches Don't get me wrong tho, ik I'll be coming back and I would bring my friends here! FYI it gets very busy on the weekends and WIFI is slow read more

Santo Coffee is a great spot, with room to work and to chat. I didn't stay long, as I got my order to go, but the space is clean with lots of natural light and I would definitely go back with a laptop, book, or friends! I got the seasonal raspberry mocha and The Roosevelt sandwich. Both were delicious and I'd recommend them to coffee and food lovers. Service was friendly, thoughtful, and efficient, which is always appreciated! I look forward to visiting again. read more
I ordered the salted caramel off the seasonal menu. I asked for less sweet and the cashier was.kind enough to inform me that it's not sweet already. Coffee was delicious but everyone there had no smiles. It was quite so called very trendy cool young people's gathering. Felt very California vibe like. read more
I tried Santo for the first time on a thursday afternoon and i'm so happy I did!! I tried coming another time but it was so full I left, so I definitely recommend coming earlier if you're wanting a table to study at. I first settled on a counter space by the door, but spots did open up throughout the day if you're willing to be patient! I ordered a matcha latte that was sweetened with honey ($6.23). It comes unsweetened so definitely ask for either honey or simple syrup or vanilla. The flavor was really yummy and it's definitely one of the better matchas I've had in seattle. Also I really love the green interior of the place, and it's nice that there's more casual seating on the right of the cafe and study tables to the left. They also sell merch!! read more

Laidback third wave coffee shop with plentiful pastry offerings and a nice selection of coffee and tea drinks. The chai latte with oat milk was well spiced and perfect for a cold winter morning! Service was quick even though they were crowded. read more
One of my favorite Seattle coffee shops! I got their seasonal honey cardamom latte and it was great, not too sweet and had that cardamom spice flavor. Definitely a unique combo I haven't seen in a lot of places. Their coffee is always super high quality and you can tell the baristas care about making a good cup of coffee. There were a ton of people working when I went and plenty of tables for that, although I didn't spot too many outlets. Street parking in the area is pretty easy. read more
I tried both the Panela latte and the matcha with oat milk but wasn't a huge fan. The matcha was pretty bland and flavorless and the Panela was somewhat the opposite, being much more strong and bitter than most lattes. The spinach and Brie pastry I had was the only item I liked but I would not come out here for the drinks again. The service was fine. They were really busy and full of people. Every seat was taken around 1pm. The aesthetic was fine but I had difficulty concentrating and getting work done with feeling very cramped and crowded. The person next to me was pretty loudly going from zoom meeting to zoom meeting for hours so that also impacted my focus and is more a commentary on that person's etiquette than the space. I probably won't be back but I just don't think it was my vibe which is fine. read more

This is one of my favourite coffee shops in Seattle. My husband and I ordered a cappuccino and iced latte. Both were excellent and gave us different layers of textures, flavours and smoothness. I would love to go back and try other other coffee beverages. The interior design and decors were phenomenal that once we stepped into the coffee shop from the main entrance, we loved their green luxury sofa with accessories. A shelf with different retail items on the other side matched the sofa. The coffee shop logo with great drawing or painting on the wall drew our attention right away. The customer service was great. We only saw male baristas. All of them were great. We could see they knew what they were doing and they have good relationships with some of the customers who probably live in the neighbourhood read more

5 stars solid for their coffee, but the pastry was very underwhelming. I went here around 8:30am on a Saturday and it was fairly busy, with more than half of the seats occupied. That is a hint that the coffee shop is good (aside from the ratings). I got their signature Panela latte which had small hints of fruit and honey in an otherwise regular latte, but they did their portions and ratios well for me to thoroughly enjoy the drink even though I am not really big of a coffee fan. If I easily drink this and was satisfied, that meant the coffee is indeed amazing! To go with the coffee, I got their spinach and cheese pastry. I asked for it to be heated up, but they only partially heated it up, so I was able to taste the warmth outside but it was a bit stale and the spinach & cheese filling cold, so that was a miss. This is overall a very solid coffee shop just for coffee and to work, as there is a nice modern and minimalistic vibe, while the noise level is average. I would personally skip on the pastries as that is a miss unfortunately. read more
This place had great reviews on our visit to Seattle. Very to the point no fuss menu. We got an ice coffee, cortado and a ceasar salad with chicken. Salad was pre packed but very good quality. Cortado with the side mineral water was perfect. One of the best I've ever had. Ice coffee was part of their batch brew and also good. They allowed you to put your own milk which my husband really liked. Staff were friendly and things came out in a timely manner. Only suggestion is they should repeat names if drinks are not picked up. I noticed a few times drink sat when staff got busy and name announcements were not loud enough for atmosphere. Overall location is very cute, trendy and a place to work or catch up with friends. read more

Came for the coffee, stayed for the vibes. The workers here are so nice. I came here to do some work, the wifi was great, seating was hit or miss depending on which spot you get. The staff were so nice though. They watched my laptop when I had to run out to check on my car, and were really accommodating when I was looking for a charger. Honestly staff was 12/10. They're really chill and treat their customers like friends. I love it here. read more

Simply the best! I have never fallen in love with a coffee shop until I walked into Santo but now I know what it feels like. The best customer service you will ever find, always great energy and ambiance in the shop, and the best coffee recommendations from the A-list incredible out of this world staff. They also have some delicious baked pastries on display. My go to favorite is the Rosebud Herbal Tea with honey. Hope you'll come and make Santo your second home like I did! read more

Santo Coffee is a cute neighborhood coffee shop with great ambiance. The baristas were very friendly. I tried their iced vanilla latte which was smooth and not overly sweet. However, it was $6ish for just 10oz, which was quite expensive. I would come back and try other coffee. read more

The BEST vanilla latte I've ever experienced . She had the chai tea latte, and said it was amazing as well. Super cozy coffee spot , with quality blends ... making this a must stop coffee spot when in Seattle !!! read more
To drink I got one of their specialties; an iced Panela latte. Overall it wasn't too sweet and refreshing for a warm day like it was. The orange bitters weren't all that pronounced though so maybe I'll try the latte hot next time to see if I can taste more of those notes. It could've been that I had some allergies and couldn't taste all that well though :). Additionally the space is relatively WFH friendly however I'd recommend trying to show up early as seats fill up fast! Especially those seats closest to outlets if you need it! Otherwise it's a nice place to get some coffee since they have big windows that open when the weather is nice outside. Definitely want to come back to try some more of their drinks! read more
