    Almond Milk Latte + Decor
    Luba K.

I was a regular here for years and in addition to spending thousands of dollars, left this location a glowing, five-star review. The staff at the time were warm (Michael was the best), knew regulars by name, and made every visit feel special. The coffee was excellent and it felt like a true neighborhood gem. Over time, the people who made this place so memorable moved on, and with them went the quality and the warmth. I opted to support other local coffee shops instead. I returned recently to use a reward I had accumulated, excited to see how things had changed since my last visit. When I asked to check my rewards balance before ordering, I was told I could only do so after completing the transaction. Every other coffee shop I frequent allows this beforehand, so I pushed back to clarify. What followed was one of the most unwelcoming interactions I have experienced at any business. The staff member's tone was hostile and dismissive from the moment I asked a simple question, and it did not let up. I felt uncomfortable enough to cancel my order entirely. When I asked for a receipt to confirm my refund, she threw it away in front of me. A colleague had to ask her again on my behalf, and she snapped that she had already discarded it. Another customer standing nearby witnessed this exchange and looked visibly appalled. I reached out to the owner privately before leaving a public review, hoping to have a real conversation. She chose not to follow up with me about my experience. Instead, she wrote back to say she had already spoken with her staff and that a separate customer had contacted her to say I was the problem, and that her team had handled everything with grace. She closed by suggesting I had not met a basic standard of respect. I want to be clear: the customer she referenced appeared to be acquainted with the barista. I will leave readers to draw their own conclusions about whose account was actively sought out. I also want to note that I am not alone in this experience. Other reviewers here have flagged the same pattern of cold, unwelcoming service at this location. That tells me this is not an off day. It is worth reading those reviews before you visit. The refund for items that were never made has still not been processed, four days later, which caused me to have to reach out to an owner again. I have now been refunded. I share all of this because I think people deserve to know what to expect, both at the counter and if something goes wrong. This is not the place I once loved, and the ownership's response confirmed that.

    Old fashioned

Came on a Sunday early evening. Had my laptop with me to do some work and grabbed a nice Old fashion instead coffee. My second time here and I like it. Cute setup. Everyone there seemed to be working on their laptop so it was a chill vibe. They have music playing too which is cool because I left my headphones this day. I gave 4 stars because the bathroom was out of order and of all days I needed to use lol. Great place though.

    Iced Orange Cardamom Latte

This was our first stop after landing in Seattle and we decided to get some coffee here. I ordered the Iced Orange Cardamom Latte and I was really intrigued how they managed to balance such strong flavors with the espresso. It was on the bitter side but the syrups helped sweeten it. My only gripe with it is that it had max 30 minutes before the water melted and the bitterness made it almost undrinkable. The interior was very pretty and the heaters were much appreciated.

I'm always on the look out for coffeeshops where I can sit down and get some work done, and that's exactly what I did yesterday. Armistice Coffee Roasters has a good amount of seating, not just indoors but outdoors as well. Service was also very friendly, it was my first time there so I asked the staff what was their signature drinks and they had a few seasonals to choose from. Very helpful in suggesting which coffee to get, and I ended up choosing the seasonal Lavender Salted Caramel Latte. I would recommend this drink if you're more into sweeter sips, although my first sip had a big sea salt piece which caught me by surprise. Luckily I love sea salt, but if that isn't your vibe then I would suggest ordering something else. The rest of the latte after giving it a good stir was nice and silky, and overall enjoyable. Wifi was great for me, the environment was calm (other than the occasional heavy clanking taps that I assume baristas are chucking out the old grounds), and it just felt like quite a productive space. While I'll always be checking out more coffeeshops in the city, Armistice may very well become my go-to when I need to grind some work (get it, grind? like coffee grinds... I gotta stop making with the puns lol).

This is a great place to grab coffee and a drink. It's nice inside but can get busy. The coffee is awesome. I'll be back soon to get my fix!

    Rose fog

Stopped in for a pick me up on my way home and tried the rose fog. The flavor was delicious and the petals on top were pretty but ultimately not tasty lol. The server was nice. The vibe was chill but I was taking it to go.

    16oz Iced Chai Latte

We ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich, a bacon ranch sandwich, a spiced chai latte, and salted caramel latte. The breakfast sandwich was yummy, but still cold in the middle even though it was heated up. The bacon ranch was good, it was on a yummy 6-8inch baguette, but needed a little more ranch. The chai latte was delicious. The salted caramel latte was not extraordinary, but still good. Could've used more flavor and salt, especially if it's a whole dollar to add a flavor, which is a bit excessive in my opinion. The service was fast, though we came on the Labor Day holiday so it might've been less crowded than normal. The ambiance was amazing. Hung out at a table and played some cards for a little while! Very convenient to get to via the lightrail.

    Iced Matcha Latte

Had to move cafes to finish up some work and came here. Was unsure at first glance because it looked packed but upon entering, there were a few empty spaces to do work. There is a parking lot directly across though I don't believe it's associated. Street parking was not too bad on a Monday afternoon. Energy was pretty high and on a hot day, the air conditioning inside was a blessing. Iced Matcha - default sweetened and done perfectly. It's slightly sweet while allowing the matcha to shine. Powder is ground finely and there was no residue or particles evident. Balance of matcha and milk was pretty good, only slightly leaning towards the milk.

    Breakfast Sandwich

Horrible breakfast sandwich and mediocre service. This place is very aesthetic - cute neighborhood roastery vibes. BUT the sausage breakfast sandwich was honestly so terrible, it ruined my entire visit and this review... This place obviously specializes in coffee and I think a mocha (or something more rich) would have done it justice! The beans seem to have a lot of flavor, but I got an iced vanilla latte and it was quite bitter and not sweet enough. Charging $7.50 for a the smallest breakfast sandwich you've ever seen is absolutely wild work. With only a slice of cheese and a simple egg/sausage patty, it was incredibly dry and tasteless. I was expecting something much larger with more toppings or flavor for that price. It just feels like a money grab at that point...like why even have it on the menu? I hate leaving bad reviews, but Seattle coffee shops need to seriously reconsider pricing things like this, or at least the quality of food if they expect customers to keep coming back.

We walked in as a party of 2 on a Thursday around 9pm and it was not too busy - probably half the bar was occupied. We opted to sit at one end of the bar because the bar seats are where the vibes are at. The place is decorated in a fairly elegant and old school manner, so you are somewhat transported away from the outside reality. We got the Tobe's Thique Mint and Garden Party. I loved the creaminess and cinnamon afternotes of Tobe's Thique Mint, and it also looks somewhat pretty. It is quite a heavy drink, so one was enough to fill me up. The Garden Party was a bit of a miss since as much as I tasted the orange and grapefruit, it was a very light drink and tasted a little watered down. The biggest plus is that the drinks are fairly affordable compared to the greater Seattle area, priced at $14. I liked how their menu says 14 for $14, as they have just 14 cocktails to choose from and the drinks seem to rotate seasonally. For us, we went just in time to still have the spring menu, but they will change to the summer menu on June 20.

Took almost an hour to get seated, but we were able to grab some drinks from the coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel, which was a nice option. Once we got upstairs it was gorgeous! Lots of great seating options both inside and out. The views of downtown Seattle and Bellevue were EPIC. The staff were very friendly as well! I have to say, for the price the food and drinks weren't at the level I expected. We ordered nachos, crab Rangoon dip, and pretzel bites. The nachos were probably our favorite, but they weren't anything special for $22. The Rangoon dip was mostly cream cheese and barely had any flavor. I think they were depending on the nori chips to bridge the gap, but those didn't taste the greatest. Finally the pretzel bites were okay, but nothing I couldn't get at another gastropub for a much lower price. The drinks were fine, but not that strong. I ordered the Glacier Peak which was beautiful and refreshing. We'll be back for the views and maybe a couple of cocktails, but I'd say if you're bar hopping, spend money on food somewhere else in the area.
