Wanted a smoothie after a wed morning run and this has been the best spot for smoothies we've found so far so close to the lake, got here a little after 8 and all the side tables were already filled up with people working and chatting. We decided to try a new smoothie than we did last time and to try a coffee and sandwich this time. Everything was really good and the service was really nice and friendly. After we ordered they informed us that they ran out of bacon and asked what meat we could sub with and offered extra cheese for the inconvenience, worked great with me bc I got Canadian bacon instead of normal bacon. The sandwich was really good, the cheese made it. 8/10. Walking distance from my injectors office at SkinSpirit! I stopped in and orders breakfast and a matcha latte for my friend and I. Matcha was yummy, sandwich was ok. I'm not sure if they make their own or not, I rate it 3.5/5. It was okay. I ordered and waited at a window seat and watched the neighborhood dogs enjoying a walk with their owners. The coffee shop def gives off Seattle vibes and I can see it being a calm and peaceful place for studying or working. I'd definitely give them another try when I'm back in the area! read more

I really appreciate this place. The servers/baristas are nice, the matcha is pretty good, and the space is accessible. Unfortunately I did not read reviews before I ordered and drank my chai. When I opened up Yelp, I was shocked to see others agreed it was the "worst chai of my/their life", but m honestly - same. It was totally drinkable! But I would describe it as frothed milk with cinnamon and sugar on top. I couldn't have told you if there was chai tea, earl grey, or coffee in my drink, it really just tasted like milk with a shot of ambiguous tea. That being said - service was fast, and the folks behind the counter were very nice. They reported pastries and baked goods are made in-house and that the carrot cake is the most popular. There were very few empty seats on a weekend afternoon, but the ambiance was friendly and relatively quiet. I'd probably prefer noise canceling headphones if I tried teleworking there but it honestly seemed doable. My husband was given scolding hot tea without a cup sleeve. The cup was too hot to hold and he jolted when he was given the drink. Hot water splashed out onto my 1 year olds leg. It was so hot that 6 days later he still has a burn mark on his leg. I called the cafe to notify them what happened, and that I think they should provide cups with a sleeve or not serve scolding hot tea. They advised they double cup their drinks. With the voluminous cafes in Seattle, clearly I've been under a rock for a long time. He crafted a delicious and refreshing 20 ounce iced mocha. I spent some time by the window counter enjoying this. I want to like this shop but have had many bad experiences. They have a couple great baristas but most of them are perpetually grumpy, rude, and seem like they hate their lives. Pros: their fresh food is great. There isn't any bad baked goods. I got a shot of espresso and their banana bread after walking around Greenlake in the morning. It wasn't great. The espresso tasted more sour and didn't have the crema I was expecting. I caveat that I like fluffier banana breads, if you like denser ones than this is for you. There wasn't outside seating but it was easy to head back toward the park after picking up the food. At 5:30 pm Starbuck Greenlake was closed so I gave this place a try.. I paid $10.17 for a "Grande Triple Latte". $8.17 + $2.00 tip they required me to pay before they would start my drink and with tap to pay I had to tip for unknown service. I tipped 24% for counter service in hope of excellence. I was disappointed by the attitude and dismissiveness of the barista. I felt like I was a real inconvenience to him. The paper cup was so light, it was only 1/3 full of liquid and 2/3 foam. Thought they mistaken my order for a Single Grande Cappuccino. There was so much foam I couldn't stir sweetener into the drink, it just floated on all the foam even using the tablespoon left in an open tray (no paper straws or wood stir sticks available). The coffee was so weak it tasted like an improperly packed single shot or made with Folgers drip. The whole drink was barely lukewarm. The milk that was added must have still been cold and only excessively foamed instead of heated. I got 4 sips total then empty cup of foam. Get a real barista. But I won't be back. read more

I didn't know this place at all and only went in because it was the closest coffee shop when I was cold and needed to warm up. I got a London Fog and Nutella croissant. The London Fog was good, but I couldn't stop thinking about that croissant all day. Every coffee shop, grocery, and bakery seems to have croissants now; but they're very Americanized and mass produced. They don't really resemble French croissants that well. This one did!! It was flaky and rich, and the Nutella was integrated into it beautifully. What a great treat. I can't remember the last time I had a croissant in Seattle (or the US) that rivaled what I ate in Paris. It didn't hurt that the barista was very attractive too. I'll definitely be back. The only missing star is for the industrial atmosphere with high ceilings and bare hard surface floors reflecting a lot of sound. More intense than chill. I've been coming to revolutions since I worked in Seattle a few summers ago. I always loved the friendly, personal neighborhood feel of the shop -- the customers, the baristas, the way it nestles into the neighborhood! I love their strong double espressos and the occasional sweet (but not too sweet!) hot chocolate (always with whipped cream) that I inevitably imbibe way WAY too fast lol UPDATE: They have these new bolted on solid, finished wood tables that seem to be literal slices of tree! I really wanted to love this place. I mean, the inside is spacious and they have a variety of yummy looking pastries at the counter. They are super dog friendly (they have a bowl of free treats for furry friends). The location across from Greenlake is perfect... I could go on. The cappuccino I tasted this morning, however, left MUCH to be desired. It was extremely bitter and I could taste coffee grounds throughout the cup.
