The service was really nice, the snowy was really good but if you don't like too much sugar you would like to share with someone else or I highly recommend to order with light condensed milk. The food was really good tho! Ambiance really cute!!
Great shaved ice spot, the large shaved ice bowl was split between three people, and it was more than enough. Service was friendly and it's a nice university spot for students wanting a cold sweet treat. There's limited parking out front and enough some seating inside even during the evening rush.
Nice shaved ice place! Got a small strawberry for two people. Would definitely recommend the regular size for sharing instead. Fruit tastes really fresh though and shaved ice is flavorful. Lots of seating inside with only one other group ahead of us on a Sunday as they opened. But service took a while since I think there was only one person.
I've tried three different bingsoos in the two times I've been here, and all were delicious. I've never been to a shaved ice place where the ice had a creamy / milky base to it, and I don't think I can ever go back. It made the bingsoo so much more enjoyable! The portion sizes were also huge, so it may seem pricey at first but you can definitely split with your group. The regular size was enough for three of us! The space itself was also clean and spacious. You don't get too much interactions with staff, as ordering is through a kiosk. There's also a self-serve water station. So far, this is my favorite dessert place on the Ave! Would highly recommend for when you're craving a sweet, refreshing treat!
The quality, presentation, and taste of the bingsu were all top-notch! The watermelon bingsu was piled high with juicy, sweet melon balls--so refreshing. The strawberry bingsu came with a generous swirl of whipped cream on top, and the sweetness was just perfect. The taiyaki had a crispy outside and a soft inside, filled generously with sweet red bean paste--such a perfect way to end the dessert round. Snowy Village The shop isn't huge, but it's always bustling with customers, giving it such a lively vibe. If you're looking for something sweet, cold, and absolutely satisfying, I highly recommend it!
Cute Asian dessert spot in U District, known for their bingsu. Ordered a "lite" mango bingsu, which was the smallest size and pretty pricey, at $11. The presentation was so great, and it was a decent amount of dessert. It didn't knock my socks off, but was tasty. Would go back if I was in the area.
TLDR: Flavors are TO DIE FOR. Only reason for 4/5 is because it's quite expensive. So it's a place I'd only go every one in a while to treat myself. Everything on the menu is a work of art so it takes about 10 minutes to get your order, longer if they're busy. Once you get it though, it makes sense ! The shaved ice looks so delicately balanced. Personal favorite is the pesto taiyaki; the pizza one is a close second. Seasonal mango shaved ice is the best, but is only available until August. Get it while you can! There is lots of seating and they play RnB music. Must bus your own table. Free water provided !

We went on a rainy Saturday night and had a delightful time! The space is airy and vibrant, and the food was fun and delicious. The shaved ice is made with milk, but they have an oat option for those of us with lactose challenges. My husband and I each got a "lite" size, and it was a perfectly fine amount of dessert. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other flavors and items!
Get the default size. The regular is a lot of food! My friend got the mango and I got the black sesame with condensed milk. It was all good.
Maybe I tried the wrong meny item but I was extremely unimpressed with the croissant taiyaki. Outter dough was crispy and tasted burnt. The croissant dough was not very flakey and the butter in the dough overwhelmed the dish. We tried three fillings. You could barely Red bean was barely because the dough was too buttery. The nutella filling basically just tasted like nutella on much too toaster store bought croissants dough. It lacked a creaminess or robust flavor. The custard filling was a plain vanilla but the custard had solidified into a thick gloopy filling. It was not a rich creamy custard filling you might expect. Over all food was not impressive but would give them another chance to try the Bingsoo. Ambiance was super adorable and service was prompt/nice

The bingsu came out relatively fast and it was larger than I expected. However, my husband and I still managed to eat all of it. It was tasty and pretty much what I would expect it to taste like. The thing that stood out was that the taiyaki was excellent! It's not your typical one where it's bready. The outside texture was more croissant like (which they did describe) but it was just so delicious! My husband ordered the pepperoni pizza one and it hit the spot. I'd definitely come back just for the taiyaki. We had also stayed a little past 10:45 (sorry!) and they didn't even say anything to kick us out. So nice! We just noticed the time and hurried out.
Been coming here for years and this place never disappoints every time I have a sweet carving. The shavings are so fine and just melts in your mouth perfectly. Minimal clumps and the snow is perfectly sweet and not overpowering. Love trying out the different flavors they have and I recommend the mango (seasonal) and the injeolmi ( soy bean powder)

This snowy village location has never failed me when I'm in need of a refreshing sweet treat! Employees are helpful and nice, and the inside is clean and has enough seating. The seasonal watermelon bingsoo, strawberry bingsoo, mango bingsoo, all tasted amazing. Their fruit always tastes fresh and the shaved ice is not too sweet. No complaints! read more

I liked Snowy Village. The bingsu was good, but what stood out most was the fresh fruit. The mango was sweet and actually fresh, not frozen, which made a big difference. The space is cute, staff were nice, and portions are pretty large. Parking is a bit annoying. It does seem a little pricey, though. Only downside is the shaved ice isn't super consistent. The top is sweet and fluffy, but the bottom gets more compact and less flavorful, so we had to add condensed milk. Still a solid spot overall. read more
Very cute and relaxing place to catch up with friends! While I first thought the menu items were expensive, the bingsoo is quite large. For four people, we ordered a large piggy bar and regular injeolmi bingsoo, This came out to be ~$36. The piggy bar is definitely very sweet, while the injeolmi is more balanced and nutty. I enjoyed the bottom strawberry layer in the piggy bar but liked the injeolmi topping. Layers of injeolmi or red bean would make the injeolmi bingsoo even better. Excited to come back and try their fruity flavors! read more

Pretty empty on weekday night. About 15min wait for bingsoo. 8/10 Taro Regular $16 - Mochi bits were bomb, red bean was fresh, warm, sweet enough to pair well with the bingsoo and ice cream. Taro flavor was ok in strength for both ice cream and bingsoo. They layer the flavor in the ice so it is not bland at the bottom. Pretty good overall but expensive for bingsoo. read more
We waited to order at the kiosk but an employee was eating behind the counter, not very clean safe. We ordered the strawberry bingsoo and there wasn't too much of a strawberry presence flavor wise and fruit wise there were just a few thin slices on the edges. The shape of the bingsoo is very cute but a little hard to eat, especially when sharing. read more

A great dessert place to go with friends! I like how they have smaller sizes for single portions so you can try more flavors and each person gets their own bingsu The shop is super bright inside and it's a great place to study or catch up with friends. Bingsoo texture here is hard to beat -- they have milk based shaved ice so the texture is super creamy and light (while other spots tend to be more chunky and icy)! 4.5/5 - Taro bingsoo, loved the red bean and mochi! Wish it had more toppings included in the order. 4.5/5 Taikayi is also made to order so its super crisp (both the custard and red bean filling were delicious) Would recommend a visit if you are in the UDistrict area! read more

First time trying bingsoo. It was a good dessert was filling but not too heavy. A little hard to hear as they are calling names and numbers for when it's ready. Otherwise no complaints! read more

4/5 Stars A solid spot for bingsu if you're craving something sweet! They specialize in different flavors of bingsu, and while the ones we tried (strawberry and Oreo) were just okay, the real star of the show was the fish waffles. You can choose between savory or sweet fillings, and since they're made fresh, they come out perfectly crispy on the outside with a warm, gooey inside--definitely the highlight! The place itself is bright and has about 5-7 tables where you can sit and chill. It's a self-serve setup, so you order at the counter, they call your name or number when it's ready, and you clean up after yourself when you're done. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. One big plus is that they stay open late, so if you're looking for a casual spot to hang out with friends, it's a great option. Would come back mainly for the fish waffles! read more

Went here after dinner one day as we wanted some bingsoo and this is one of the only spots we know in Seattle that has it. Pretty popular spot that always has people there, has people just hanging out. We ordered a couple to try and the service was pretty quick, he also tried the Nutella taiyaki which was made fresh and soo warm we had to wait to take a couple bites. Arrived here on a Friday afternoon with a friend at 4 pm for some Korean shaved ice! The place has a minimalist aesthetic with its ambient lighting, plush decor, and marble white countertops. The place had a few customers already dining from couples, families, and groups of friends. We ordered through the self serve kiosk and shared a regular Blueberry Cheesecake Bingsoo that's good for 2-3 people. Their Bingsoo comes in different quantities from small, regular and large Lovely tower of color from the deep indigo from the blueberry and pastel white from the cream and shaved ice. Super refreshing crunch with each and every bite, especially on a warm day. The blueberries were oh so sweet and the cheesecake bites were so thick and creamy. Cheesecake bingsoo was good-- not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. We got the 'single serving' size, and it was big enough to share with two people. Their bingsu is delicious! The Mango is good. Juicy, ripe fruit with whipped cream piled high. The Injeolmi is EVEN BETTER. Topped with red bean, mochi-like rice cake, almonds, and injeolmi (roasted soybean) powder. There's a self-order kiosk at the front, where only one person can order at a time. The line backs up pretty quickly, as you can imagine, when people are slowly browsing the menu and toppings on the screen. The workers stay in the back making bingsu, and they eventually bring your orders to the counter. The tables were sticky and the bingsu took 20 minutes to come out. But aside from those two minor inconveniences and slow ordering, everything else is great. read more
Snowy village is one of my favorite spots for Korean-style bingsoo! It's different from shave ice in that it uses a milk base, so the ice is creamy. I was surprised to find that snowy village now offers non-dairy options! As a lactose intolerant person, I was very excited. There are a limited number of non-dairy flavors. It uses an oat milk base and coconut milk ice cream. Unfortunately, I think I prefer the milk-based ones better. The ice is more dense in the non-dairy, and the coconut ice cream just isn't as good as regular ice cream. I am so happy that it's an option though!! The regular size easily feeds 2 in my opinion. There was ample street parking outside the shop and there is a restroom in the shop. There is a lot of seating and self-serve water. It's a casual place that students can sit and do work in (as it's in Udistrict). The staff all stay in the back rooms. We ordered off a screen and never interacted with a single person. read more
thoroughly enjoyed my bingsoo here! loved the movie and injeolmi as well as the flavor of the ice. overall i think it was great tasting and while a touch expensive when compared to the price and portion-size of grace street in nyc koreatown (my gold standard for bingsoo), i enjoyed the experience here and was a great relief for a hot day! ambiance was nice with good decor and aesthetic spots to take nice photos in. service was fast and friendly! would recommend! overall: 9/10 taste: 10/10 price: 7.75/10 rounding up to 5 stars cause i haven't had better bingsoo in the area + had a good experience here overall :) read more

Great way to cool off on a hot day! Always love the cheesecake, piggy bar (strawberry and oreo), and sweet mango flavors and also appreciated the discounted bundling of the personal sizes. Dessert melts in your mouth and is piled to the top! read more
Came here after a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed! The berry flavor was new so we tried it. The regular size was enough to feed 3 people! The service was fairly quick and they brought it to our table. The presentation was also beautiful with the toppings, definitely Instagram worthy! Don't come alone because it is a very big portion but a good place to come with friends, family or a date! read more
