Great ice cream with fresh and clean ingredients. Uou pick your base and they crush in and blend your mixins. I picked lavendar base with strawberry and blueberry mixins with hot honey sauce on it. Was a fun combo. Staff was kind and offered samples which i recommend before picking your base. The only downside is because they blend the each combo there and will always be a wait time but it was worth it. We arrived around 9 pm and it was still very crowded, popular spot with some outside sitting with a very casual ambiance . Will definitely come back
Love the concept of Many Bennies! My kids loved it and enjoyed choosing their own combinations. It is a bit on the pricey side so I would be prepared to share or pay up for each cup/cone.
Food - huge serving & very fresh feeling. the eyes are little candies. when i got to the bottom of mine i think its maybe the plain cream without the mixed in fruit and i actually really liked it. i wish it came in a way smaller portion though because i was struggling to finish this giant cup! worth the price though, just would want a smaller portion for less. Service - excellent! they even have lactaid which really made me laugh. Ambiance - tons of outdoor seating. its right next door to a climbing gym, so would be such a nice treat to yourself after going climbing.
How could you not like Many Bennies with those googly eyes!! Small menu, good flavors, great vibes. And let's not forget sooooo cute!!!
my favorite combo is the vegan vanilla with strawberry/raspberry and chocolate drizzle. they also just added smoothies which are perfect after a bouldering session at SBP next door
Not sure if Many Bennies was unfairly overhyped, or if it really was just meh. I got the Sweet Cream ice cream, blended with strawberry and banana. It wasn't very creamy or sweet. But at least the ice cream was cute with the googley eyes.
Everytime I go here, it sounds and looks a lot better than it actually is. Many Bennies is a cute outdoor ice cream shop next to SBP in Fremont. Their signature is soft serve ice cream that is fruit flavored. Their blackberry flavor is the most popular and objectively the best ("good" rating); I've also had the blueberry and strawberry which are decent and the mango which is way too sour and not worth getting. You can also customize your ice cream base, though it doesn't make a huge difference for the ice cream imo because I only taste the base at the very bottom. I've had the sweet cream and London fog and both are ok. For me the primary problem with the ice cream is that the fruit flavors aren't super strong and don't taste super fresh compared to other better fruit ice cream I've had. The idea of swirling fruit flavored soft serve is cool but their flavors don't really mix well to create something better. It's also super expensive for soft serve ($8 for cup before tax). There often is a long line and the service is quite slow, so you can end up waiting a long time. The staff are nice but they're prone to mistakes - I asked for strawberry mango but they gave me some random blackberry mix. They ended up remaking it for me which was nice but it's definitely better if that mistake was not made. Regardless, mistakes like these don't really affect my rating of the place. 4.1/5
I am not a huge ice cream fan since I'm lactose intolerant but when I heard this place opened up that offered a twist on ice cream, I was intrigued. Many Bennies offers fruit based ice creams, which was a really interesting concept to me so I had to give it a try. We visited on a Tuesday night and it was quite busy even 15 minutes before closing. The ice cream stand had a few seating areas in a covered area right next to a bouldering gym tucked away in a fully residential neighborhood but there was ample street parking. We waited around 5 minutes to order and the staff were really friendly and accommodating even though we visited close to closing time. We ordered the lemon raspberry and sweet cream base and I added strawberry to the lemon raspberry. The ice cream was very creamy and fruity and the presentation was SO CUTE. They also offer free lactaid too!! It cost around $6.50 for each cup of ice cream and it was quite a bit of ice cream too. I couldn't finish the whole cup by myself since the dairy caught up to me but I really like the concept of having fruit based ice cream. Very unique!

Many Bennies had been on my try list for a while, but I ultimately thought that the concept was fun, but the texture just wasn't my favorite. I ended up trying the earl gray base with blackberries and blueberries and what I didn't realize is that everything gets blended directly into the base before they serve it to you. Unfortunately, the berries completely overwhelmed the earl gray flavor and I feel like it also impacted the texture so it was a bit too water-y and not that luxurious creaminess that I'm looking for with soft serve. Logistics wise, you'll have to find street parking, but I've never had too much trouble with the residential neighborhood they're in. I went at 7PM before a late-ish dinner reservation on a cold, rainy Saturday, so there weren't too many folks in line. Their seating is technically out doors, but it's covered with plenty of heat lamps, so it was actually pretty warm to the point that I took off my jacket! I think it's fun if you live in the area, but I definitely wouldn't wait in line or go out of my way for it.
Super delicious ice cream. Located right outside SBP Fremont, this is a great place to go after bouldering. You are able to customize your ice cream by blending up to 2 fruits into their base. You can choose from many different bases and I got the limited edition lemon raspberry. I mixed it with blueberry and blackberry. So yum! They have free lactaid as well and vegan base if you want to avoid milk! The ice cream is the perfect size for one person and derive is quick. I will be back!
Never heard of this ice cream place before some friends took me here but this place is yummy! This is a fun little small New Zealand style(?) ice cream shop next to SBP in Fremont. Ordering is done at a window next to SBP, and there's a small outdoor seating area next to it with some tables and benches. I got a cup of the mango (seasonal option) with sweet cream base. Flavor was good! I liked how you can sometimes get mango fruit chunks in a bite of ice cream. The amount of ice cream which you get for the price is also great, my cup came really loaded up. The eyes which they add to the ice cream are cute, too. Not too enjoyable to eat though. Service was super friendly but somewhat slow, I think they didn't have too many people working so it took a bit of time to order and for the ice cream to come out, but the taste and quantity more than made up for it. Definitely a cool spot to grab some ice cream that's not a major chain like Salt&Straw or Molly Moon!
Very refreshing and perfect for the weather today, everything's outdoors so definitely better on a sunny or nice day. Recommend going on a Sunday after the market or even coming here then walking to gas works. In the ice cream we could definitely taste the fruity flavors and adding a topping was worth it in my opinion. The servings are also pretty generous although it was ~$10 (w/ topping) I shared with a friend and it was enough. People working were also friendly.

We came here Sunday evening around 8:30 PM, and wow... the line was long! There were about 30 people in front of us and at least 25 behind us. At first I thought we'd be waiting forever, but the line moved really fast. We only waited about 30 minutes, and it was totally worth it. My 3 1/2-year-old nephew had been asking to come here because he saw pictures of the ice cream and thought it looked so cool. He was so excited to finally get one! Of course, after two bites he said he was full , so I ended up finishing both. We got the blueberry & blackberry swirl and the raspberry & strawberry swirl. Both tasted so fresh, creamy, and full of real fruit flavor. You can definitely tell they use quality ingredients. The shop was very clean, the staff worked fast, and everything was well organized despite how busy it was. A special shout-out to the young Indian woman working at the front. My nephew was getting a little wild while we were ordering, and she was so patient, kind, and sweet with him. Those little moments really stand out, and I appreciated how welcoming she was. I can honestly say this is one of the best ice cream places I've tried since moving to Seattle. The presentation is beautiful, the flavors are amazing, and the quality speaks for itself. The service was great as the ice cream is customizable to your liking. In addition to that, they also provided lactaid for those who like to push your limits. I definitely liked it as it wasn't too sweet and the presentation of the ice cream was cute. The candy eyes were a bit hard for my liking but that's about it. read more

I apologize to the country of New Zealand. I'm sure your style of ice cream is not as bad as my experience at this place, and I'm sure that if I ever visit you, I will make sure to try your soft serve and experience it firsthand. If it's truly this bad, then I will apologize to this ice cream shop, but for some reason I doubt it. This is a place that had a bit of a line when I went. The main reason for this line is that unlike other ice cream shops, they blend each scoop to order, meaning you can wait up to 10 minutes after placing your order for your cup or cone. The concept is interesting. Blending frozen fruit with sweet custard could create something unique, which is why it's popular in New Zealand and has spread to many places across the world. However, it completely falls flat here. The first thing I noticed is the sweetness just isn't there. The best approximation I can give to this is if you had a fruit smoothie, put it in the freezer for a while, then took it out for about ten minutes. It just tastes like cold and icy fruit. The fattiness, the sweetness, the richness of traditional ice cream - all collapsed into nothingness. If you bought a Ninja Creami you might genuinely be able to make a better product than this. I chose strawberry and mango as my mix-ins, but the mango seems to have disappeared into thin air. Maybe it went to the same faraway place that the sweetness did. It pretty much just tasted like strawberry. I went for graham cracker crumble on top of the ice cream. I was apparently mistaken though, because what I got instead were giant pieces of graham crackers, clearly broken apart by hand just before. The whole point of a crumble is you can get small pieces with each bite of ice cream, creating a textural contrast that works. When you have giant pieces though - that means you're eating ice cream, then one bite of the cracker. It's not even close to the same. What is this, a crumble for giants? The unfortunate hilarity of how bad this was concluded when at the bottom, you realize everything's not fully blended through. There are still pieces of half-destroyed frozen fruit at the bottom, which is just incredibly unappealing. Why I mention the hilarity though - is that the sweet cream ice cream that should've been blended throughout was amusingly the best part to eat just by itself. This goes against the entire point of the ice cream and should have never happened, but the fact that it was the only part of this that tasted good just adds to how truly awful this was. Oh yeah, and this one scoop in a cup was ten dollars. ten. for a single-scoop cup of ice cream. that may be the most expensive ice cream I've ever had. But guys, they have googly eyes!!! Look at how cu- If you line up for this place you should be institutionalized. 1/10 read more

Life-changing ice cream? Not quite, but it's really good for the price and size. I walked by this place on a weekend after a run and noticed it had just opened. I've been seeing Many Bennies all over social media and since there was no line I figured I'd try it out. I got the sweet cream base with mango and strawberry ($6). I enjoyed the flavor a lot and thought the base + fruit complemented each other well. Because it's a softer serve you don't have to worry about it being too dense. There are places to sit and eat however it's all outside. On a colder day you may want to take it to go. I enjoyed this spot and will be back. read more
I've seen long lines of this place in summer, but didn't try until one day there was no line. Honestly, the ice cream was good, but not amazing. The texture felt a bit too dense, and I've had creamier ice cream. I would get it again, but probably would not line up for it. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. A fun and unique place to get fresh fruit ice cream. They only have two bases to choose from, then you pick the fruits you want blended into the ice cream. A little pricey but it's fun for the kids. They also have a spacious covered patio. read more

Finally got to try Many Bennies in Fremont and I would say it lived up to the hype! I had a cup with the sweet cream base and tried the mango and blackberry flavors. It was super creamy and tasted like actual fruit (not too sweet and really refreshing). Also, we loved the cute little candy eyes on top, which was a fun touch that makes it totally Instagram-worthy. There is usually a long line (especially during summers), but we lucked out and came on a Sunday evening and there was no wait at all. Definitely planning to come back to try more flavors! read more

Creamy and fruit ice cream which was very refreshing on a warm summer day! We found street parking and got lucky because the line wasn't too long. I will say that service is a little on the slower side because they blend each ice cream to order. I got the sweet cream base with blackberries. It was good but for some reason, I didn't get the ice cream craving satisfied quite like other ice cream spots. But still tasty. I love that they give Lactaid and the lemon curd was nice as well. A little on the pricier side but definitely different than other ice cream spots if you're looking for something more unique! Great outdoor seating area! read more

TLDR: overrated new ice cream shop We've been here several times since they opened. First time, I got their seasonal flavor lavender with banana and mango. BAD CHOICE. The lavender overpowered every single last bit of banana or mango flavor. It felt like a gigantic lavender in ice cream shape. The consistency was also disappointing in a way hard to describe... Also I saw them handing some people ice cream in cup with the waffle cone on top, which was so much more convenient than how they put mine together - waffle cone with an extremely tall thin ice cream top. It turned into a disaster when the goggley eyes fell and I tried to clean them off of the ground as an etiquette - the entire ice cream top collapsed and half of them fed the concrete ground ... oh, btw. the area around this ice cream shop was full of those googley eyes... We gave them second and third chances with the basic flavors (sweet cream and the vegan one). They were good, and not overly sweet which I always appreciate, but nothing special. And the googley eyes were more for advertising than tasting, IMO. IG the most unique thing about their ice cream is they blend in real fruits? Oh, and I very much dislike how they handed out their ice creams - plugging the cones into the holes in front of their window... quite gross considering their traffic and the dust and the germs and everything else and how infrequently they'd clean that rack... read more

How cute, but only partially worth the hype if I'm totally honest. Basically you order an ice cream (vegan vanilla or sweet cream) base then add up to two fresh fruit which they blend in. Then choose your topping(s). The line was long but moved reasonably fast, so we weren't waiting forever. There was outdoor covered seating, but we planned to enjoy the ice cream at gas works (did end up finishing them before we got to the park lol). The SB ice cream was pretty tart, I think I liked the MB combination more (most likely because I LOVED the toasted coconut chips). I don't think I'll go out of my way to go back, but it is a fun place to try once. Service was friendly, portions were appropriate. Vegan friendly options. Staff were all super friendly :) Your choice of cream base (sweet cream, vegan vanilla, lavendar) is blended (made to order) with up to 2 fruits of your choice into a swirled dessert and served to you with candy googley eyes! I got the banana blueberry and liked the flavor but friend got strawberry mango and the consistency was even better super smooth I have to order that next time! I have a huge sweet tooth, so I was excited to hear a new dessert spot opened up in my area! Located near the Fremont area, parking can be tricky to find as it's primarily street parking. But the entire area is really cute to just take a stroll and shop around. The store is a small window front where you can quickly take your order. There's outdoor seating available too to enjoy your dessert. They offer a lot of flavors and mix-ins to try which were all fruity and unique combos! We ended up ordering the blueberry flavor which was so fresh and not artificial at all! It's also so cute with their famous chocolate/candy eyes. The portion size was really big so I was able to share it with my boyfriend. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Many Bennie's if you're in the Fremont area! read more
Many Bennies is a cute new ice cream shop that has a fresh fruit-forward concept that is custom made to order. It's a tiny storefront right next to Seattle bouldering project in Fremont but has a patio for outdoor seating. It's nice in the summer, but I'm not sure how it'll work in the cold winters. I customized a lavender base ice cream with blueberry and blackberry fruit mix ins. They also had strawberry, cherry, banana, and mango. The fruit options change with the seasons. For the bases, you could choose between the original sweet cream, vegan base, or lavender. Finally, I Added cacao nibs as an extra topping (+50¢). It was good, but I thought the fruit flavor could have been even stronger. Plus, there were bits that were not fully mixed. The eyes are a cute concept, but don't really taste good lol. It's a bit expensive at $8 a cup (and extra for a cone) but the fresh fruit concept may be worth this upcharge. Unfortunately when I went, they were out of a lot of fruit options, including mango, which I really wanted to try. Guess I'll just have to go earlier in the day next time before they sell out. read more
Many Bennies is a walk up ice cream spot in Fremont. They blend fresh fruits into the ice cream on the spot. They are curently in their soft opening but it was the first time for me to have ice cream this way. There are a bunch of toppings available and you can choose up to 2 fruits. They also have rotating bases for their ice cream. There is a big seating area that is covered as well. Free lactaid if you need it! Staff: nice (4/5) Sanitation status: (5/5) Strawberry and Blackberry with Sweet Cream Base (4/5) The Ice cream was really soft and smooth. I would definitely want to try other combinations. They also had a vegan base which a friend of mine got and I actually preferred that base over the sweet cream. read more
I couldn't tell if the long line for this place was because it was right next to The Bouldering Project (while a bunch of people were still inside) or if it's just that popular. After having their ice cream, it's safe to say the latter is probably more true. I got here at around 9pm on a Tuesday night, got to the front to order at around 9:30pm and got my order 5 minutes later. This place is in Wallingford and not too far off from Fremont, so good luck finding any sort of street parking... You get a choice to get the ice cream as a soft-serve or in a cone. Then you can choose what base you want for your ice cream, two kinds of locally grown fruit for your soft serve, and then any toppings you want. You'd have to look really closely at the menu (located near the front) to see that bananas and mangoes are also part of the fruit list. I decided to get a strawberry mango sweet cream base in a waffle cone, and add lemon curd per my server's recommendation. This came to almost $9 for the whole thing, which isn't too bad. There's some outside roofed seating nearby to use as well. The cone is pretty big, the cream is really good and all the flavors hit at the same time for me here! There was a clear, distinct taste of both strawberry and mango, when I thought that the strawberry would overpower the mango. The lemon curd added an extra citrusy spike to my ice cream, which pairs very well with how sweet the soft serve already is. The strawberry banana was a high recommendation from some people when I was standing in line, so that might be something I try next time I'm here! read more
We walked by around 8:30pm and decided to come back later because the line was so long and thought that it might fizzle out. We thought the long line might be related to people leaving the climbing gym, but it was not. We came back around 9:30pm and the line was even longer!! We actually ended up being the last people in line and had to hold this sign so that no one would get in line behind us--a very difficult job, as this place seems to have blown up on social media. Probably needed to break the bad news to about 20 people who arrived after 9:30pm (it was a Wednesday evening). Important to note: they close at 10:00pm, but apparently bring this sign out every night at exactly 9:30pm to ensure they close on time. In terms of the ice cream, personally, I was not super impressed. It wasn't all that flavorful, but maybe this just isn't my thing. I got banana, strawberry, and chocolate drizzle with a sweet cream base. The staff were very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Props to them for dealing with many entitled people that pushed their way to the front to ask for an exception to the line being closed. My husband and I both love fruit flavored ice creams so we were very excited to try! It's definitely more of a natural flavor than some artificial fruit flavored ice creams but really good and refreshing. The toppings and waffle cone really made it so I would definitely recommend adding those! There was a pretty long wait but they were nice and working hard to move the line along! They were sadly out of eyes which I think are so fun in other review photos! read more

The ice cream here was absolutely delicious. I ordered a vanilla with Mango mixed in and coconut chip and lemon curd Toppings. Fantastic. The lemon curd was tart, the coconut chips were crispy. Their waffle cone was the best cone I've ever had. It's thinner than most and stays perfectly crisp. The ice cream is soft, smooth, and not too sweet. The customer service is also fantastic. The line was long but they were efficient. They also tried to give people a heads up when they were low on ice cream. It's not easy to walk up to a long line and let people know that you're running low, and do it again when even more people line up. Perhaps, to help the employees, they can find a sign that indicates they're running low so people don't keep filing in line. It is a little pricey on my budget, but I thought the product and service validated the cost. They have lots of outdoor seating but it was also nice to walk around the cute neighborhood while eating some ice cream. Prepare to do laps for a parking spot if you're driving. Overall, great freshly made New Zealand ice cream! You can choose a vegan or sweet cream base, then the fruits! They have some seasonal options (like mango). They also give free lactose pills! I enjoy coming here for ice cream! In the beginning, there was always a long line, but now it's a quick line! Parking is free, if you can get it! But if you search long enough, something will open up! read more

The line for this place is always insanely long, so be ready to wait! They really blew up over social media and the nonstop positive reviews had me wanting to try it for so long. I've never had New Zealand style ice cream before, and this was a really pleasant experience. I came on a Thursday evening and while the line didn't look too bad, we still ended up waiting around an hour. I ended up choosing the vegan coconut base with strawberries and blackberries mixed in, and coconut flakes on top. The ice cream itself was really good - it was so fresh and smooth and flavorful at the same time! I also got a waffle cone, which was nice and fresh. While it was really good ice cream, I wouldn't wait an hour again for it. It's definitely worth trying though! read more

yes unfortunately they do. I had to visit multiple times before I could try this place because they would sell out before closing.
