    We spent about $24 or so on 4 croissants, 2 regular 2 flavored and a malasada. The croissants were really flakey and really good, very fresh. The ham and cheese croissant wasn't our favorite, didn't really have much ham in it and it's definitely small, but the chocolate almond croissant was delicious, just small compared to the pricing for sure. The strawberry malasada was alright, the filling tasted artificial so I wouldn't go that route again. Service was quick and friendly.

    This bakery is a kind of big deal among locals. Anyone who knows the Seattle scene and gives good, solid recommendations will always have this place in their list. It's in the heart of the ID (International District) and the corner shop locations has plenty of window viewing so you can easily look to see what appeals to you. The malasadas are a culinary staple. The crunchy cereal malasadas with the cream is done right. The cream inside is light and only slightly sweet. The bread is light and airy and the exterior sugar and cereal counting help provide a nice texture. Truly a fave for me was the s'mores croissant. It was flaky, packed big on chocolate flavor, and just fun to eat and enjoy with the marshmallow and graham cracker. One of the best things about this bakery is that their offerings are always fresh. You can't pick a bad item here. Service is easy as it's a walk up window and just place your order and they box and bag everything up for you.

    Good variety of desserts, highly recommend the malasadas. The ube tastes authentic, and the vanilla had a good crunch coating. Currently they are a "order to go" situation with no indoor seating (order though a window). But they're located in a cute area easy for walking.

    Before heading to Mt Rainier, we stopped by here to pick up some baked goods for our hike! I got the tonkatsu sandwich, egg sandwich, ham and cheese croissant, crunchy creamy malasada, ube malasada, and beef curry. Our favorite was the ube malasada! The malasada was so soft and the ube flavor was lovely. Maybe it's because we had that one first, so the donut was still fluffy. The tonkatsu was a close second!

    The service was very fast and the pastries delicious. This is the quintessential Japanese/French bakery. There's an order window and no seating. My favorite baked good was the almond croissant

    I was craving something quick and sweet after my late lunch and Fuji bakery hit the spot! They serve donuts in a no-frills to-go window counter. I picked up the ube malasada. It had a light crunch from the sugar coating, fluffy texture, with a creamy subtly ube filling. I think the broche in the donut was a tad dry, but I did get it around 4pm. I also would've preferred a stronger ube flavor. Overall, the service was quick and friendly with tasty donuts. I wouldn't get this exact donut again as I found it pricey for the quality I got, but it was worth a try!

    Lattes has mainly ice

    The cheese green onion bread was really stale. Usually the other hot selling items are good. The curry bun was really tasty with the crunchy exterior but the filling was hollow. The ice tea lattes was delicious unfortunately it was all ice. I would overall come back.

    Cute Bakery in the corner of Chinatown. It's a to go only spot with no seating but plenty of delicious pastries. It's a quick order and get your stuff and go. The staff is kind and welcoming and the food is delicious. So far all the danishes are my favorite I think the blueberry one would be my number one but they are all delicious. The malasada is also pretty good but it would definitely have to be the blueberry Danish that's my number one. The prices is also pretty good for each item not too expensive and you can get a lot of treats under five bucks each.

    This is a small, hole-in-the-wall bakery tucked on a corner and easy to miss if it weren't for the long morning lines and the tempting display of pastries in the window. We tried the matcha donut and the crunchy cream donut. My friends loved the crunchy cream one for its sweetness and texture, while I preferred the matcha donut as it was less sweet, with a smooth matcha cream filling that was perfectly balanced. Highly recommend trying both here!

    If you guys work in the area near Chinatown this is one of the few places that opens early and has been around for quite awhile. They don't have any seating it's more of a front store and you order to go. I got the hojicha latte added a shot to it. Overall everything was good and wanted to try their egg sandwich and it was good bread was a little dry but the center was just amazing. I finish that in like two seconds and they always have good pastries. We usually stop by here to bring baked goods to work.

    Cheap but tasty donuts. I have literally never gotten anything from here that I didn't love from any location. I do with they had a few more vegan or dairy free options but it's definitely worth taking my allergy pills for their pastries. The service is always friendly and efficient. This is a to go window only - no seating or indoor space.

    I love this storefront bakery so much, and have been going here for quite a while since the time when the pandemic started to ease in 2022. Back then it was to have some of their lattes which I found pretty good. For this visit, I had one of their malasadas. This was on a Saturday noon, and when I got here there was already quite a long line but it went by quickly. There's no seating at this place; it's all grab and go. Other than malasadas and lattes, they also have cakes, danishes, pain suisse and other pastries, with many people grabbing their olive breads the day I went. I've tried their red bean azuki malasadas before and since I needed a stomach for an event later that day, I got just one lilikoi malasada. It's a passion fruit flavored malasada, and my current picture of it doesn't do it justice at all. It was creamy and wasn't a sour taste in my mouth. There was a good amount of filling inside my donut, and flavor profile wasn't overly strong. There's a ton of sugar on top as expected of malasadas, but this place knows how to make their fillings a little weaker in taste strongness to compensate for that. If you're not into the long lines or overly sweetened malasadas/brioche donuts that The Flour Box has, this is the perfect alternative.

    Out of this visit, I only ordered the Tiramisu cake and the Cream Cheese Danish. A classic Italian Tiramisu made with mascarpone cheese, espresso shots, Marsala wine, and ladyfinger biscuits tends to be rich and satisfying. While a 7" cake is typically said to serve up to 12 people, it could actually serve a few more. For example, we have 13 people, we still had about 1/4 of the cake left! The richness of the dessert often means that less is needed to satisfy guests, which is always a good thing when you want some leftovers! Cream Cheese Danish was delicious! Better than your Starbucks one. The croissant baked with custard and topped with carmelized cream cheese. A good Tiramisu cake should have a balanced blend of rich coffee flavor, smooth mascarpone cream, and a light, airy texture. The cake layers should be moist but not soggy, with a subtle sweetness and a hint of cocoa or chocolate. And they absolutely nailed it. Overall, the layers were meld together harmoniously, creating a perfect contrast between the bold coffee and creamy filling.

You can't really see what is offered in the displays up front, so the only downside is folks take longer trying to decide when they get there after waiting in line. They offer self-serve still or with gas water (nice touch, uncommon). We visited on a weekday. I imagine would be more crowded on weekends or holidays so plan your trip accordingly. Parking: off site lots as this place is located in the heart of Pike's Market.

Through several visits: Baguette, Large ($7.95) - Great baguette with bubbling golden exterior complete with the perfectly baked crust even after waiting 3 hours before cutting in and eating. The interior has the perfect moisture level and is delightfully soft and chewy. The taste overall has a deep developed flavor. This is a great baguette. The only problem - the price. I can find ones for half the price that are maybe 80% as good as this one. (5/5) Seasonal Biscuit ($4.50) - This biscuit definitely isn't Southern-style. It's more of a drop biscuit, combining a relatively soft and tender interior with a nice exterior crust, without any flakiness or layering. The interior is almost cake-like in texture and crumb, and is plenty moist. They add plenty of fresh black pepper inside. It's distributed very evenly, giving a peppery bite with every mouthful. Parmesan is added to the top of the biscuit before baking, giving plenty of umami and richness but only on the upper layer. (4/5) Green Vinaigrette Cafeteria Style Pizza ($6.25) - The pizza is kept under a warming lamp, so it starts getting a little dried out after I assume a couple of hours spent there. I do love the base though - it's focaccia-like giving a really crunchy dark golden brown crust underneath, which supports the toppings. The pizza slice has lots of structural integrity and doesn't flop over. There's a base of fragrant concentrated tomato paste-like flavor which is topped with a very even layer of cheese. Since it's warmed rather than freshly baked, the cheese starts congealing a bit. The cheese is peppered with parsley, garlic, and a bunch of mustard seeds, giving a special zing. The toppings go all the way to the sides of the pie, making it great for people who dislike crust. Even though it's cafeteria style pizza that's kept under heat lamps, I quite liked it. I wonder if I can get a really fresh slice if I get there right at 11AM when lunch starts. (5/5) Chocolate Croissant ($6.10) - Great lamination with a very aesthetic honeycomb pattern. Baked on the harder side, causing fantastic crispy flaky layers to flake off, but also creating a darker golden brown character that is on the verge of bitterness. Nicely buttery soft and chewy interior. Chocolate is a darker variety, probably somewhere around 70%, so it has a pleasing balanced sweetness and chocolate flavor. It's not typical baton, instead seems to be a section from a bar. Still warm and melty even through I didn't eat the croissant until ~30 minutes after purchasing. When cooled down further, some red fruity notes start appearing, so this seems to be be pretty high quality. (5/5) White Sourdough ($12.60) - Now this is a loaf of bread. Superb crust, probably 2 or 3 times as thick compared to competitors, creating a supreme crusty bite with a chew approaching a hard crunch with almost caramelized molasses notes on the bottom. The interior is moist and tender with a pleasing slight sourdough tang. It's a superb piece of craftsmanship. (5/5) Kouign Amann ($5.80) - This is another heavier bake with some acridity development on the top surface. Unlike many other bakeries where the kouign amann is basically a differently shaped croissant with sugar glaze, Sea Wolf's version feels more in line with tradition. The crumb is denser and richer, more like brioche. There's interesting black speckling inside which I believe is due to the inclusion of espresso powder given the mild coffee-like flavor. The crust is again baked hard, but it's lighter and not as flaky as the croissant. They sprinkle just a bit of salt on top of a very light caramelized sugar glaze. It's not very sweet and I didn't find it too salty unlike some other reviewers. (5/5) Plain Focaccia Slice ($4.80) - Good quality olive oil, some salt sprinkled on top to boost the flavors. Light and airy interior, but the exterior is a little wan, being more light golden brown and lacking some good crusty crisp especially on the fried bottom. Quite oily. (4/5) Sea Wolf gives out free sourdough starter, which can be requested from the cashier. Since picking it up several weeks ago, I've gone through several feed/bake cycles for making sourdough focaccia. I've visited Sea Wolf 3 or 4 times in the last month. That's a testament to how high quality their pastries and breads are. I think the only thing stopping me from visiting more is thanks to the starter I got from them fanning my baking instincts. I bake so much now that I don't have any need to buy their bread! Note: Sea Wolf charges a 3% credit card fee. This is not noted on their menu - it only appears in the POS right before paying. Butter Croissant (3.75/5): I'll admit I'm insanely picky with my croissants and I think Sea Wolf's is just okay. I want a stronger crisp on the outside, something that almost shatters and makes a mess when you bite in, but the inside has a nice chew. Kouign Amann (3.75/5): I had a really fantastic time with this my first time picking it up, they have almost a crunchy sugar caramel crust on the outside with super buttery pastry inside. Unfortunately, my second time picking this up ended up being a miss, just stale and much to dry. Cinnamon Roll (1/5): The raisins are a nice touch, but this was awfully dry. Even the caramelized crus on the outside couldn't save this and charging extra for cream cheese frosting on top of a dry dough is criminal.

I thought the sauces overpowered it a bit, and the frittata itself was a bit bland - I couldn't even tell it had sweet potato in it, but it was cooked really well. There was ample seating in the heated patio, but parking was a little confusing, though we got lucky with the small lot right next to the store. There were a lot of signs that said no parking along the street in front, but it seemed like a lot of cars were parked there?

That might have been because there was no AC inside the cafe/kitchen and it was over 80 degrees outside. Everyone had to form a line in the beating sun, which took over 40 minutes. No shade in sight until you are 3rd person from the front. Ordered 2 iced matcha lattes, which weren't whisked fresh. They clearly used a matcha concentrate in the drink unfortunately. The cinnamon bread felt stale, and less fluffy than expected. The same went for the sesame cookie, not super fresh. The cardamom bread was probably the freshest of the three items I got. I wouldn't return for any of the items I purchased.
