We were in Renton for a work event and this cafe was busy for a reason! Beautiful interior decorating and plenty of seating. Because it was busy, we had difficulties finding parking. Their food is amazing! We both ordered Turkish coffee and sooo good! They gave us a rose pistachio Turkish delight. We will be stopping again.

So excited to find this place! Having just come back from a trip to Turkey I've been missing the mouthwatering food. It's a very cute setting for working or catching up with friends on the spacious outdoor patio. Always lovely to find a new gem in the neighborhood.

Atmosphere is great and cozy and the nature outside the big windows was a huge plus! Food gave me the same feel of another place we love from Boston called Tatte. The clean and friendly service was also much appreciated! Also a good place to come to if you have gluten allergies since a few good options for that too! If you're like us from out of town and looking for a breakfast/Lunch place I'd Hasel Cafe!

Honestly, I wasn't sure what exactly to expect here but the coffee completely slayed. And so did the pastry, to be honest. The boreks were delicious and I have craved the spinach and cheese one since I had it. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming and cozy. But it was packed when we went and I wasn't sure if we'd find a seat. Thankfully, we did. I will say the ladies behind the counter weren't all that organized and they gave us a number since we were dining in, but then they didn't call out our number or bring our food to us.. so I wasn't sure what the point was there. Anyways, I'd love to return to try other goodies.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon at 11:30 a.m. and the place was definitely busy, but luckily my friend and I were able to grab seats. Right as you walk in, you can see how well they've designed the space. We both loved the decorations, and it's laid out perfectly given the limited space, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers a great amount of items to choose from--drinks, food, baked goods, and desserts. I ordered a ham and cheese pastry item and an iced latte, both of which were excellent. I already know I want to come back to try more, especially the Turkish delights! The service here is exceptional, especially from who I believe was the owner. He truly went above and beyond! He greeted every person who came in, made sure all the guests were having a great experience, and genuinely thanked everyone who left. His interactions felt authentic and welcoming. This is a wonderful gem of Renton, WA. I'll 1000% be coming back!

3.75 for food though 4.5 for service and rounded up. Pleasant cafe serving Turkish breakfast, brunch/lunch and pastries. Food was decent and the owners are very hospitable and make it a priority to check in and see if there's anything you need. Came by on a weekend morning around 10am and found the place fairly busy with a mix of families, small groups and a couple individuals working on laptops. They've created a modern yet comfy seating area with a mix of benches along the outer wall and regular tables and chairs, seating roughed around 30. Nice touch to include board games for some activities too. The baked goods (both savory and sweet), pastries and cakes are shown in their glass display cabinets, they carry some traditional favorites like borek (a flaky pastry rolled in a spiral with a choice of a couple different mixed meats stuffed inside), simit (Turkish bagels rolled in roasted sesame), lokum (Turkish delight - nougat mixed with nuts and sweet dried fruits), honey cake (a sponge cake soaked in honey syrup). They also have items like avocado toast, shashuka and other breakfasty foods. A variety of hot and cold drinks including Turkish coffee and tea are available. We got the following and dined in: - Turkish coffee $3.99 hm a bit watery compared with what we're used to from cafes in NYC and Istanbul. Served in a beautiful coffee cup with traditional Turkish ceramic floral design. - Latte $5.50: pretty standard and good. - Golden (Tumeric) Latte $6.50(?): I enjoyed the tumeric flavor, a good balance not too strong or mild. - Beef borek $9.99: pretty good, flaky crust with well-flavored minced beef of the inside, would order again! - Simit $3.99: a little on the drier side though I feel like that's how they usually are, they're kinda like a sesame-covered bagel in appearance though the texture is a little like the inside of a pretzel. - Blueberry mousse cake $7.99: pretty tasty, mousse was light and not too sweet, the inside has pieces of peaches in the middle (which was a little surprising) and sitting on a thin layer of chocolate sponge if I recall correctly. Located on the SE corner of Harrington Ave NE and local Route 900, there's parking directly adjacent the cafe enough for probably around 15-20 cars. A couple bathrooms are available and decorated nicely inside with a faux greenery wall. Would definitely come back to try some other items!

I will start by saying it seems like the owner is very proud and happy with his cafe. It was nice to see the guy working looking like this was his passion finally come to fruition. We honestly tried like 5 or 6 different things. It's a nice Cafe with lots of seating. It was really busy when we came though. It appears to have been adopted well by the locals for being so new. There were people on their laptops and a few different groups seemingly on a work meeting there. My friend and I played some UNO, (there are misc games around the walls to utilize while you have a coffee or pastry) and the man at the counter glanced at us fondly like his calling in life was right here and he was finally content . Overall not a bad cafe for catching up with someone over a cup of really strong coffee. Personally not my type of close personal atmosphere, as the tables were just a few feet apart and it was quite busy, but the girl I was with said she loved the vibe. She then ordered like 9 different pastries to-go. Maybe that's actually why the guy was so happy haha

I had NO idea such a cute little cafe was only 3 min away from me. The overall vibe of this place is so relaxing and welcoming, I could stay here for hours. Staff were very sweet and the food was great! A little pricey, but worth a try. I had the iced strawberry latte, which was super tasty! Just make sure you mix as a lot of the strawberry syrup sinks to the bottom. The eclair was tasty as well with yummy custard and rich chocolate. Everything came out pretty fast. Definitely recommend trying this place. I will be back!

The cafe is super cute inside and definitely a nice vibe to sit and chat or work. The drink options are pretty brought for a place that's not a specialty coffee shop. They have a few specials like a cloud latte and strawberry matcha along with Turkish Koffee. The workers were super sweet! Pleasant to talk to and understanding. The drinks and cake were not bad but not something I would crave but I would definitely stop by again to try some of their food like the avocado toast.

Calm, welcoming environment. Food is gorgeous and delicious. Staff is friendly and kind. They take time to answer any questions or offer suggestions.

This place has been on my list since they first opened. It's a cute little place once you walk in. Plenty of seating and a comfy and cozy vibe. Their selections of pastries are set out for that in the case. I ordered rice pudding, the chocolate cake, blueberry cheesecake and two chocolate croissants. My favorite item was the chocolate croissant. It was flaky and tender. However, everything else for me just didn't agree with my taste buds. The chocolate profiterole cake was too dense for me and the blueberry cheesecake overwhelmed with too much sweetness. However I was definitely the odd man out because my family did enjoy those items. The rice pudding was nothing to rave about either. Nobody was a fan. I would definitely recommend trying this place but I myself will probably not return.

Fantastic coffee options and Turkish delights along with some great looking sandwiches. The service is excellent. The store owner or front of house checks in with everyone and asks how is everything? He sounds very genuine in learning how each persons experience is. Beautiful venue with great seating!

I ordered the rose latte and my friend ordered the turkish coffee as well as some turkish delights. The interior is beautiful, very cute place to work in. Overall, not sure if I would come back as the drinks didn't stand out to me. The rose latte tasted like a regular latte and I didn't get any "rose" flavor in it.

I didn't get photos unfortunately but will be back and can update then. We ordered a marble loaf, croissants, chocolate hazelnut croissant (casse-noisette), brownie, kouign-amann and the fraisier. Oh. My. Heaven. This is the first bakery in a long time we have been craving days later. Everything. I mean EVERYTHING was delicious with the exception of the marble loaf. The loaf was extremely firm and had no flavor. My son who loves everything sweet only had two bites. The rest made up for it. My husband LOVES croissants and this is by far the best he has had in all of Washington. The casse-noisette was ridiculous. Often when you have stuffed croissants they either have barely any or way too much "stuffing". This was perfect. The perfect blend of chocolate and hazelnut. The crunch of the hazelnuts on top were a welcome contrast. Cannot wait to return. What a gem!

There weren't any other customers inside and we were greeted with an empty display case in the front. While barren, the owner, a gruff* French gentlemen, confirmed that he still had choux pastry left with a choice of either vanilla, coconut, pistachio, or hazelnut. We decided to go with the pistachio, which he assembled fresh for us, first by piping pistachio cream inside the choux shell, then dipping in melted chocolate and sprinkling pistachio on top. Pistachio Choux ($6) - The choux is excellent, baked until deliciously crisp on the exterior while the inside remains soft, eggy, and tender. Since it's fresh filled and we ate it right afterwards, the cream never migrated to saturate the crust - I suspect people with issues with mushiness probably let the cream puff sit too long before consuming. The cream, which is piped to the brim, pushes out against the delicate shell, causing each bite to almost squirt out a bit of the luscious, silky whipped custard. The cream coats the lips and mouth with a layer of fat. It's not too sweet and has a light nutty pistachio flavor. The melted chocolate the top is dipped into glues on all of the pistachio dip. The chocolate is slightly bitter, yet sweet, so it helps cut through some of the rich silkiness of the cream. The pistachios on top act like a crumble, perhaps pulverized and melded with butter to create a very rich yet pistachio forward mix. It's strongly flavored, and the chocolate creates such a strong cement that none of the nuts detach while eating. (5/5) Panterelli was a huge surprise as it wasn't even on our radar until we walked past the shop randomly while exploring the Farmers Market. It's a definite revisit in the future! *The owner isn't nearly as welcoming as a typical American small business owner, but is certainly friendly and eager to chat. I also love his attitude - looks aren't that important; it's the taste the reigns supreme!

The vibe of this place and the people that make it happen every morning are world class. Life situations kept me from making my way to the shop for a year or so, but when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a "it's been a while!" The coffee is reasonably priced and imo - best in the area. It's consistent and while I'm a sucker for the 12oz cold brew - I've gone off script a few times and have always been pleased. I've got family that comes into town fairly often, and almost every morning they ask to go because they think about it when they're at home in Chicago. There's plenty of seating, tho it's sometimes so bumping (because it's a great spot!) it can be hit or miss if you can stick around and enjoy the vibe. But generally I've had good luck over the years setting up at a table and chatting with friends & fam before a hike, enjoying the morning with my pup doing some socialization training or throwing a few emails around to my corporate overlords. I've seen ads for their evening events and have been wanting to make it to one, but I always seem to see the poster days or weeks after the event! Poetry nights in a space like boon boona seem like an unbeatable vibe, hope to notice & get to one soon. *Parking is also not hard to find at all. There's a free garage down the street at the transit center that is never full, and tons of street parking*
