    Chai

My friend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon for some coffee. There was luckily parking in the little parking area near the shop. I ordered a hot chai latte that was pretty good. My friend and I sat inside the shop chatting for a bit with our drinks. It's a small shop with not too much sitting, but it was nice. I would come back!

Had my eye on this place for awhile and I was delightfully pleased. My best friend, who was visiting from out of state, and I grew up in the same town. The way we both looked at each other as we took our first bite of the char siu banh mi. It reminded us of the hole in the wall place we grew up on. Bread so soft and toasty, with the sweet pork, generous amount of mayo and pickled veggies (the only way to go lol). When I came back to try it again on a different day, it tasted more dry and less veggies. Maybe it's just on the staff who are making it. But still yummy! We also tried the small size of the beef stew with bread and my boyfriend liked it. Said he'd wanna try the noodles next time. I tried the flan coffee and salted coffee, i recommend both. My bff and her husband love the original viet coffee. My boyfriend loved the iced peach tea. Had volume, not too sweet and lovely peach flavor.

Came here on a Saturday morning to grab some coffee an banh mi to take onto our flight! They were pretty busy but we got our drinks and sandwiches very quickly. They were doing a Valentines Day special so I tried their rose berry cloud tea drink, and my partner had the coconut latte. Both drinks were delicious! The coconut latte packed a ton of coconut flavor, and the rose berry cloud was the perfect mix of tea and fruity flavors. The banh mi were also delicious! We got the dac biet and the grilled pork banh mi and they both tasted great! They were the perfect lunch to take on the plane. We will definitely be back!

    Matcha with cream foam

I would like to start off with saying, there are plenty of free 2 hour free parking along the street, thank god. Upon entering, you're greeted by the friendly staff. There are a few table with seatings so you can work on things while sipping a cup of coffee or matcha. There are also food items available! I ordered the matcha with foam on top and also the strawberry matcha another time. First off, the matcha isnt the same taste found at Taz, Phe, Yoka, etc. It is more of the taste found at Vietnamese cafes, a lighter creamier matcha, which I do not really prefer. It was decent though! I suggest to ask for extra matcha maybe. As for the strawberry matcha, I wouldn't recommend. It ruined my drink, as the strawberry wasn't fresh purée, so it tasted really artificial. I was disappointed. I also had their banh mi đặc biệt. It was good! All in all, maybe their coffee related drinks are better but if you want to order matcha, avoid the flavored syrups and just order the matcha and ask for extra matcha :)

Cute coffee shop with a side gravel parking lot. Love how they had traditional wooden tables/stools outside. Huge variety of drinks, food and a couple dessert items. Staff was friendly and talked us through the menu. We ended up ordering the coffee flight since we were indecisive. They are full size portions so was too much for tbt two of us. Will be back to try the food!

My bf and I stopped here for coffee and tea before our road trip. He loves Vietnamese coffee, so we came here to try it out. He ordered that, and I got the Iced Peach Tea. My bf liked his Vietnamese Coffee, and my Iced Peach Tea was refreshing. It had little peach bits in it, and wasn't too sweet and had a good tea taste. Cute spot with friendly service.

2 Salted Coffee, 2 Grilled Pork Banh Mi

This place is a hidden gem. It's a wonderful neighborhood coffee and banh mi spot. There isn't a lot of street parking in front, but it definitely is worth the effort to look for parking! The service was friendly and a willingness to accommodate any concerns. One customer asked about the amount of caffeine in the Vietnamese coffee, and while the people working there weren't sure, they offered suggestions. Perhaps more milk, or half a serving of coffee. I thought that was gracious and conscientious. My coffee was amazing. My friend and I ended up getting the same thing. Cà Phê Muõi (Salted Coffee) and the Bánh Mì Thįt Núóng (Grilled Pork). The Salted Coffee was amazing. Usually when there's a foam on top, when you drink you only taste foam. This one your sip starts with the luxurious, silky, saltiness of the foam and as you tilt your cup you get the luscious, smooth richness of the coffee. I couldn't wait to enjoy another sip. The Banh Mi was crunchy, savory, tangy deliciousness. The crunchy outside of the baguettes with a soft inside. The tangy carrot and daikon. The crunch of the jalapeño and cucumber. And the beautiful soft, grilled, seasoned pork was an amazing bite. I look forward to my next experience here'

Wrapping up a visit and wanted to grab something before the airport drop. I do enjoy Vietnamese coffee and they offer Bahn Mi no brainer!! The shop is little off, the beaten track, located on the corner in the neighborhood. The interior is bright and clean and very comfortable. I would happily sat inside however we did have our dog with us so we ate outside. I was warmly greeted and given time to read the menu. There are multiple choices of beverages and foods. One of the things I do miss from my old neighborhood in Silicon Valley was the variety of food offerings then a 5 mile radius. Needless to say, i was very happy to give this place a try. I ordered a coffee and Banh Mi, the Thit Nuong (grilled pork). I was asked about sweetness of my coffee and I requested be a little less sweet and it was refreshing. The Banh Mi was yummy. Seriously, I wish i had ordered another to go!!! Nicely balanced veg and meat Terrific flavor, sweet add savory Crunchy but not so crunchy it hurts mouth Check it out

Salted foam and combination Banh Mi

Came here on a Saturday and there is a lot of street parking. We ordered a Banh mi combination, coconut coffee, and salted foam coffee. I also got the jasmine oolong cookie. The banh mi was huge and was packed with meats and pickles. I would recommend. The coffees were both good with the perfect amount of coffee and sugar ratio. The coconut flavor was strong on the coffee. Jasmine oolong cookie was one of the best cookies I had with just a tinge of sweetness and lots of robust tea flavor. There was a wait for our drinks and food because someone wanted a refund on their sandwich. There are a couple seats but this place gets busy.

This hidden gem nearby the Sea-Tac Airport is small but mighty. Even from the outside you can smell the savory broth or maybe it's the banh mi -- either way it smells delicious just walking up. The ambiance is so quant and absolutely adorable. We came by on a lovely spring day, so they had their windows open and it was so nice to sit an enjoy some coffee. We got their coffee flight which included one of each of their vietnamese drip coffees. The coffee here is a really strong flavor that balances out with salty and sweet accents. The egg cream is one of the more unique coffees I've ever tried but it did add a very nice thick yet fluffy texture on top. I was a big fan of the salted cream coffee, loved the cold foam top and how the saltiness really amplified the taste of the coffee-- if I was to go back and order just one coffee this is what I'd get. If you're one for the classics, the traditional vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is very good but once again- with a very potent coffee base. Not for the weak hearted. I hope I can come by again and try some of their food! I think this is the perfect spot to go either before or after a flight -- I think the airport is only about a 10 min drive away.

Cà Phê Sữa Đá/ Vietnamese Iced Coffee

One of the most well-balanced Vietnamese iced coffees I've had in a while. The richness of the brew and the creamy sweetness of the condensed milk blend perfectly without overpowering each other. Smooth, not too strong, and perfect if you want a little caffeine boost without feeling wired or staying up all night

Small inside dining area with 2 tables and some bar stools, and a couple tables outside. Self-service. As for food/drinks: +Vietnamese egg coffee (4 out of 5 stars) - egg cream is good, coffee was mediocre +Grilled pork banh mi (4.5 stars) - came cur in half! Delicious fresh bread, delicious grilled pork, I'd like a little more meat for the last couple bites. +Beef stew (3 stars) - broth was okay, meat was lean and not very tender.

Bac Siu and Charsiu Banh Mi
    Sally N.

Stopped here in the morning before church!! I didn't have a high expectation for Banh Mi but it actually wowed me! Simple but very tasty!! Should ask for some chili sauce to be added, that spiciness harmonizes well with char siu! I ordered Bac Siu, I prefer it's a little bit sweeter but overall it's a good brunch! Will come back!

This was an amazing cuppa coffee (Americano). I went back to try a shot of espresso, just to see what the difference was with cream and just straight espresso by itself. The espresso shot was really good. From an ambience perspective, it's very industrial, contemporary. It is in the lobby of the interurban hotel, and there is a fair amount of traffic that comes and goes through the coffee shop. So, if you're in the area of the Southcenter / Tukwila/ airport, and want a quality coffee shop, that's relatively easy to get in and out of, with a good amount of parking, stop by this place. JoJo will take very good care of you. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks for making it an awesome day.

The vibe of this place and the people that make it happen every morning are world class. Life situations kept me from making my way to the shop for a year or so, but when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a "it's been a while!" The coffee is reasonably priced and imo - best in the area. It's consistent and while I'm a sucker for the 12oz cold brew - I've gone off script a few times and have always been pleased. I've got family that comes into town fairly often, and almost every morning they ask to go because they think about it when they're at home in Chicago. There's plenty of seating, tho it's sometimes so bumping (because it's a great spot!) it can be hit or miss if you can stick around and enjoy the vibe. But generally I've had good luck over the years setting up at a table and chatting with friends & fam before a hike, enjoying the morning with my pup doing some socialization training or throwing a few emails around to my corporate overlords. I've seen ads for their evening events and have been wanting to make it to one, but I always seem to see the poster days or weeks after the event! Poetry nights in a space like boon boona seem like an unbeatable vibe, hope to notice & get to one soon. *Parking is also not hard to find at all.
