The coffee bean for the latte was nutty, chocolatey, and had a nice strong coffee taste to them. We also had some cute company (a doggie) in the cafe to enjoy our meal with us. I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. A simple hello and recognition that a customer has entered goes a long way. I understand that making drinks and preparing food takes time, but there seems to be an opportunity to improve efficiency especially when there is more than one staff person working. Also, when customers feel welcomed and staff are attentive (with a smile), the entire experience tends to run more smoothly. The biggest issue wasn't the wait itself, it was feeling overlooked as a customer. With a little more focus on customer service and teamwork, I think the experience could improve significantly.

Their website was easy to navigate to find out which food truck would be there and when. We ordered our food first then handed inside to warm up before picking up our order. The space was really spacious and nice. The vibes were warm and cozy with a large TV projector screen playing sports, good music and all types of seating and tables. They have a dog water bowl near the front where you can also get water with clean cups nearby too! You can also tell it is a beloved location as it was getting quite busy and there were children, dogs, and adults enjoying the space and time with one another. We got two 10oz Diamond Knot root beers which was divine! I recently started drinking root beer from breweries and I am a huge fan, as I think brand named root beer is gross. The drink paired really well with our soul food order. The bartender was really polite and seemed to be good friends with his regulars which is a good sign. I asked him where we should put the drinks and he politely let me know to the side of where he served me would be great and there is a sign to put empty glasses as well.
