My friends and I stopped by Bread & Bone to get coffee on our roadtrip to Leavenworth and we had a really pleasant experience. On the rainy morning that we stopped by, there was only one other party in the cafe having breakfast and playing board games. The woman who greeted us behind the counter was warm and friendly. If you enjoy flavored lattes, there are plenty of options here. They even have alcoholic flavorings they can add in -- think Bailey's, to spice up your drink if you're looking to jump start your morning in a different kind of way. I ended up being boring and got an oat milk cappuccino. The espresso in my drink was strong and the oat milk was frothed nicely. In addition to my drink, I also ordered a spinach topped brioche bun, which tasted great warmed up; the brioche was nice and fluffy. If you're looking for a place to sit down for a bit to get some work done, this would also be a great place to go, with plenty of seating available and free Wi-Fi. For the friendly service alone, I would 100% stop by again for a morning coffee.

Wonderful service, low volume music, relaxed ambience, restroom with diaper changing table and feminine products, lots of games and activity books for kids and adults to spend a good time, delicious food and coffee! There's an indoor swing and seating outside, as well. Very cute, super tasty, 100% recommended!

Bacon quiche

Quiche was good but very expensive ($14 for a small slice and there were no prices on the wall menu). We got three and each slice was a different size. Flavor was good but the crust had a microwaved texture. Coffee was good and normally priced. Service was good and the interior was cute. I would go again to get coffee but not food.

Cardamom vanilla latte, and avocado toast with smoked salmon

First of all, Abigail is engaging and she makes one beautiful latte that is delicious as well. I had the avocado toast on a luscious bread that was soft and fluffy- and I added their house made smoked salmon. It was absolutely yummy. Abigail was attentive and service was excellent. It was a comfortable vibe that would make anyone want to stop and rest a bit. Conversation was easy and friendly- I highly recommend! They serve breakfast and lunch plus an array of drinks. They make their own syrups- try the cardamom vanilla.

Inaccurate hours

The hours posted outside were inaccurate so I waited until they opened at 11 only to find that all three things that I intended to order were out of stock. Pretty unfortunate

Cortado

We stumbled onto this cute little cafe in north bend after our hike. We were looking for coffee and a little snack and we came to the right place. I had a bowl of their poblano and chicken soup and it was delicious on a cold afternoon post hike. My husband had a cup of cortado and it was nicely made by the owner. We will definitely be back for more soup and coffee.

Unicorn birthday cake.

I ordered a birthday cake and couldn't have been happier! The people were very easy to work with and the cake was perfect! Wonderful flavor and the buttercream icing wasn't too sweet. The cake had to travel several hours and handled that as well. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you for being so easy to work with and giving us a quality product.

BT Sour Pina Colada, Chai

Cubano, Flat Breads, Avocado Toast and the drinks as well (Pina colada, Buffalo Trace Sour) were all excellent, hospitality from the barista/bartender was really outstanding. Just in town with the Carlile's....had to stop by, you should too!

The food was great...salad and flatbread did not disappoint. But I won't be back since it's extremely overpriced.

The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I'd definitely love to come back with my watercolours and paint it. Since this is my book bestie's fave coffee shop spot, I'm sure we'll be back here soon! I'm super excited to keep exploring their seasonal drinks.

Every time I have come in the last year (1x a week or so) I am met with a feeling of judgement, annoyance and entitlement from the employees. Even asking a simple question when ordering or at the pickup bar seems to be met with immediate annoyance and defensiveness. I will say Dalia is a sweetheart, and her coworkers could learn a thing or 2 from her..... "Hux energy" which I think is just lotus are okay but are $7-8 which seems a little ridiculous for sparkling water and energy base lol. Overall I hope they can turn this business back around it's unfortunate to see a local coffee shop go down hill because of bad employees!

One of the more beautiful cheeseburgers I've seen in a while. Just a happy, crowded, community with kids running and playing around on the old golf course and family and friends enjoying the outdoor tables in the evening sun under the old growth trees. Everything you love about living in the PNW. Burgers are solid, fries are creative and crispy. Chicken sandwich has too much sauce (almost like a chili sauce, like a sweet glaze with a little kick). Chicken Caesar was good - wish I had as much chicken as the salad did with the salmon. That said, it was a terrifically fun place and I'll be back.

The outdoor seating is the real star here--relaxed, spacious, and blessed with peekaboo views of Mount Si that feel like a little reward after a long day on the trail. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, soak in the fresh air, and let your legs recover while still holding onto that mountain vibe. The food is just as satisfying--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want after burning some calories. Everything we tried hit the spot, and the menu has a great balance of hearty and lighter options. Pair that with genuinely friendly, welcoming service, and it's hard not to feel taken care of. All in all, South Fork is one of those rare spots that feels like part of the adventure, not just the afterthought. Perfect for refueling, relaxing, and stretching out a great day outdoors.

One of the best outside areas I've come across at coffee shops/cafes. Their signature drink selection is quite fun. I opted for the Bee in a Tree latte, which is made with burnt honey and cinnamon, and enjoyed it (I usually get plain lattes!). They have steamers for kiddos - I got my daughter one with the burnt honey flavor and she loved it. The pastry selection is wonderful though I would personally give a 4/5 to all the ones I tried. The matcha almond cake uses almond extract which I personally don't like. The white chocolate raspberry muffin didn't have the white chocolate come through enough and could use more raspberries. My daughter chose the double chocolate muffin which didn't seem to actually have chocolate chips in it. Other notable mentions - free wifi, clean bathroom, and an adult only upstairs seating area. Parking is in back and could feel limited if it's busy. We came on a Wednesday morning and there weren't many spots remaining. It's also right next door to the library! Overall, great cafe and kid friendly for those interested :)

Breakfast Burrito (3): It's a very small, bite-sized, refrigerated burrito in their customer accessible fridge as you walk in. They have a veggie and a chorizo. I opted for the chorizo. It was actually pretty tasty and the salsa they serve it with was a verde salsa which was slightly sweet with a slight kick. Not too spicy. It was good just very small especially for $10. Medium Roast Drip coffee (4): decent drip. Overall, this was a nice cafe and likely your only option in the area for breakfast burritos and decent coffee.
