Should you go here ? Yes! Should you order their butter flaky rolls for every holiday dinner? Yes! Has everything from this bakery been delicious? Also yes!! Coming from the city, this has been worth the drive every year around the holidays for their buttery croissant like laminated rolls! Oh my, are they to die for!! Why try and bake some yourself when this bakery has made the best roll for thanksgiving or Christmas! Everything here is fresh and delicious. There is a small cozy vibe when you go in. Surrounded by baked goods of all shapes and sizes that there is something for everyone to like and surely love! The service is fast and friendly. Cannot recommend checking this bakery out enough. But if you want the rolls (and you do) you will need to preorder them. And oh my oh my are they absolutely worth it! I assure you!

A cozy small-town bakery that made for a great post-hike pit stop en route back to Seattle -- we stopped by later in the afternoon, so the cookie was hard since it was out in the display case. The quiche was a surprising hit, especially with a dash of hot sauce. The hot chocolate was skippable, just a run-of-the-mill Swiss Miss.

They have a wonderful selection of pastries, breads, and sandwiches. We went late in the morning so they only had cookies and baked goods left, not very many donuts. We lucked out and got a couple of apple fritters, which were excellent by the way! We also got some brownie bites, an almond bar, a chocolate chip cookie, and a croissant. For 6 things we spent $30 and some change. My favorite thing was the almond bar. It is extremely big and thick. It's also very dense, but amazing. If you love almond croissants this bar is for you. It's buttery, almonds, and flaky. So good. The brownie bites taste like something I'd make at home from boxed brownie mix and bagged cookie dough mix. I don't recommend that. However, everything else was fabulous. I'd like to try their sandwiches and breakfast burritos next time.

A fun place with very good treats and a simple beverage menu. My wife described their treats as something you'd find at a nice local bakery sale and I think that's perfect. We got a hot latte and London fog to drink both were good and what you'd expect. We also got a coconut macron and some sort of peanut butter treat and they were yummy very chocolatey and sweet. Not an upscale coffee spot to be sure but they know what they're doing and make good stuff they had TONS of baked goods and they all looked delicious. Good seating and options for a lunch spit too it seemed and the staff was happy to explain what their different pastries were.

We enjoyed our breakfast here at The North Bend Bakery but the down side is that they got our order wrong and didn't bring out part of our order. They had to be reminded after helping about 10 customers. The inside is nice and right on main street for North Bend.

THE NORTH BENDER ($8.50) Roast Beef, Turkey, Pepperjack, Provolone, Red Onions, Tomatoes, and Horseradish Mayo on Focaccia. Get it toasted!

This is a small bakery located in the downtown area. The decor is zero frills but service was quick and you can grab and go your food selections in no time. My wife and I grabbed a couple of sandwiches, a pastry, and a coffee and our total came out to just over $20. Not too bad. The Turkey pesto sandwich (THE MT. SI PANINI) consists of Turkey, Provolone, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Red Onion, Arugula and Pesto on a Focaccia bread. It was good but it was a bit dry. The thickness of the bread overwhelmed the meager amount of pesto and turkey in the sandwich. The NORTH BENDER is made with both Roast Beef and Turkey, Pepperjack, Provolone, Red Onions, Tomatoes, and Horseradish Mayo on a Focaccia bread. I recommend you get it toasted. It was much better than the other sandwich and I'd get it again without hesitation. The Lemon Cobbler Bar was good but the lemon flavor was subtle. It was more sugar and butter than anything else. If you like your pastries on the super sweet side, this one is for you! Otherwise, pass.

    Peanut Butter Trifle.

Bought a sticky toffee pudding and a peanut butter trifle. $12 total for both. Haven't tried them yet but they look good.

The place was not as busy as I had expected for a Saturday evening, but a good hum of noise in the place. My son was treating me so I wanted to go big, but opted for the Burger! With him getting the fish and chips. I did partake in a well crafted Manhattan, thank you very much. Burger was prepared very well, cooked perfectly. Dressed nicely too. Enjoyed all aspects of our meal, even better I did not have to pay! Thanks for the great service. I hope to catch your name next time in!

This is a very approachable family restaurant and very popular with locals. It does try to take its name seriously and serves a wide variety of duck dishes. but there are many other things on the menu. We ordered a duck pizza which was unique pizza and salad combination with some sort of teryiaki barbecue sauce topping, but if you don't think of it as pizza it was a very interesting duck canape. The Margarita pizza was a little bit substandard dragged the overall score down... but the service was good at the beer selection. excellent the vibe. nice historic building. definitely an above average choice.

The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I'd definitely love to come back with my watercolours and paint it. Since this is my book bestie's fave coffee shop spot, I'm sure we'll be back here soon! I'm super excited to keep exploring their seasonal drinks.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more We stopped at Huxdotter Coffee in North Bend on Friday and ordered a 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, a 16 oz Mango Smoothie, and a ham and cheese croissant through the drive-through. At the window, we received the croissant and the 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, but were handed a 12 oz Mango Smoothie. We immediately pointed out that the drink was the wrong size. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake and correcting the order, the employee told us that the order had been entered as a 12 oz drink. We reiterated that we had specifically ordered a 16 oz Mango Smoothie. Instead of saying something as simple as, "I'm sorry, we'll remake that for you," we were told that she would have to refund the original charge and then charge us again for the 16 oz drink. Seriously? Apparently, Huxdotter has developed an innovative new approach to customer service: If we make a mistake, the customer gets to fix it. The mistake wasn't ours. We ordered a 16 oz drink, and the employee or the person taking the order entered it incorrectly. Yet instead of taking responsibility for the error and providing the customer service one would reasonably expect, we were essentially given a bureaucratic explanation of why correcting their mistake was going to require additional transactions. We were on our way to an appointment and didn't have time to wait around sorting out an issue that should have taken less than a minute to resolve. We simply said, "Never mind," and left. What is especially disappointing is that this wasn't about the cost of a smoothie. It was about how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen. Good businesses acknowledge them, apologize, and make them right. Telling the customer that they have to go through a refund and repurchase process because the business entered the order incorrectly is simply poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that we won't be going back. There are plenty of coffee shops willing to treat their customers better.
