I was super excited to try this coffee spot in North Bend for the first time and when I suggested it as a meeting spot for breakfast with my book bestie, I was enthused to learn that it's actually her go-to place to get her morning caffeine! The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I am a long time customer of Huxdotter - specifically the northbend location. I am really disappointed in the turn it has taken in the last 2 years, specifically the customer service. 90% of the girls who work there have 0 concept of customer service. Every time I have come in the last year (1x a week or so) I am met with a feeling of judgement, annoyance and entitlement from the employees. Even asking a simple question when ordering or at the pickup bar seems to be met with immediate annoyance and defensiveness. I will say Dalia is a sweetheart, and her coworkers could learn a thing or 2 from her..... "Hux energy" which I think is just lotus are okay but are $7-8 which seems a little ridiculous for sparkling water and energy base lol. Overall I hope they can turn this business back around it's unfortunate to see a local coffee shop go down hill because of bad employees! read more

It was perfect for the weather. The cafe also serves food. It's really spacious with high ceilings but I'd highly recommend to sit in the patio to soak in the views of Mount Si. Went in on 9/26 and didn't get the girls name who took care of us but she was very sweet. This coffee place is very nice with quite a lot of places to sit at. The coffee I had was the coconut cream cold brew with an extra shot and it was delicious. I love strong coffee and this had to be the best one I had while visiting Washington. Huxdotter is a locally owned coffee shop (in Auburn, North Bend, and now Renton!) that always has a line of cars waiting in the drive thru and plenty of customers ordering in as well. Over my many visits, I've tried the: TWIN PEAKS LATTE - I ordered half sweet (as someone who usually likes 50% sweetness at most coffee shops and boba places), afraid that it would be too sweet at full sweetness. However, I didn't find it very flavorful (honestly just tasted like a regular latte), but that was probably my fault as sacrificing sweetness level also means sacrificing flavor. I would get full sweetness/flavor next time when ordering this one. CAMPFIRE MOCHA (seasonal) - my friend and I made a Huxdotter coffee trip just to get this seasonal drink as she had called it the best coffee she's ever had. We both got half sweet and it was the perfect blend of chocolate, marshmallow cream, and graham cracker flavors. It tasted like drinking a liquid s'more! COCONUT CREAM COLD BREW - this is my favorite drink when I go to Huxdotter. The coconut cream is rich, creamy, and has strong coconut flavors that remind me of sipping coconut coffee drinks in Hawaii. I get this one full sweetness with light ice and am always satisfied. MACADAMIA LATTE (i.e. latte with macadamia syrup) - similar to the Twin Peaks latte, I thought that there wasn't much macadamia taste to it, even though I ordered full sweetness this time. Perhaps the syrup just isn't super concentrated... also tasted like a regular latte and not worth the extra $. HORCHATA LATTE - this one I ordered full sweetness and liked the strong notes of cinnamon. I ordered it hot on a cold day and it was the perfect drink to warm me up! Don't forget to enter your phone number to earn reward points! For every 10 drinks purchased, you get 1 drink free. In terms of atmosphere, it's very casual. You get a lot of hikers from the nearby trails who just want to relax after a long hike. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating making it a great study spot as well. On clear days, you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Si- which is my favorite part! I absolutely LOVED my drink. For once a latte that actually tastes like the flavor you ordered. I ordered the small iced lavender latte with oat milk, which came out to $6. I also sipped on my sibling's pistachio matcha latte and it was super flavorful as well. I could absolutely taste both flavors. Other than the raucous crowd of middle schoolers that very inconsiderately showed up at 6:59 p.m., the quality of the drinks greatly deteriorates towards the end of the day. The line was pretty long when we arrived, but the staff were able to make it though the line pretty quickly. I got one of their energy drinks and it was very good and was better than most lotus' I have had. The place also looks pretty cute and quant from the outside. My only issue was that I ordered a breakfast sandwich that came with two types of cheeses on it, I asked for one kind to be removed, but they removed both cheeses. First, they list NO prices anywhere, so you have no idea how much things cost and when you pay with a card they don't even give you an itemized list. For drinks we only ordered 1 20 ounce latte to share. It tasted mostly like milk, I get worried when ordering larger sizes and they just add more milk and not more coffee. Also, the coffee wasn't even hot, which I was hoping for since it was pretty cold outside. We ordered a breakfast burrito and a blueberry scone for food. I came by here two weekends in a row and loved both visits! The first time I swung by was a Sunday morning, and their drive thru line was super long, so we opted to go inside and order and had a pleasant experience. 5/22/22- this was such an awesome find! After hiking Rattlesnake we were craving good espresso. At first we ordered through drive through but needed to use restroom so we went inside. The coffee shop itself is cute and rustic. There were enough seating both indoors and outdoors. The restroom was clean! Huge plus! They have cute merchandise. We ended up getting a white tumbler and have been getting compliments when used here in Hawaii. They also have whole beans for sale. Now on to the coffee. Their Mexican Mocha and lavender iced lattes were excellent. Strong, quality espresso for sure. Customer service was friendly and efficient. I did notice there were flies around the merchandise table, not sure if it needed to be wiped up or something. But overall we enjoyed our visit to Huxdotter and am sad that we are so far away across the Pacific Ocean and can't visit often. read more

There's just something so charming about north bend. So we were delighted to stumble upon this coffee shop. My daughter and i go here several times a week. How could we not?
