Stopped by the North Bend Outlet Starbucks for a quick coffee run, but the drive-thru setup threw me off. It shares the lot with Safeway gas, and the flow of cars can be awkward. The line took longer than it should have, and the service felt a little indifferent. I've had better experiences at other locations, but this one's still convenient if you're in the area. The 1 star is for the view of Mt.Si If I could give ZERO stars I would. This place is the slowest, most inconsiderate and most incompetent Starbucks I have ever been to! Waited half an hour to get a burnt sandwich. Workers didn't apologize for my half hour wait, or make eye contact. They all avoided me as they gave other customers who came in long after me, their items which were the same as mine. Didn't make it right either. Will NEVER SPEND money here again. Go down the street to the QFC or Safeway Starbucks. Better service and at least if you tip they actually deserve it. read more

It is super disappointing that this is the only drive thru Starbucks in North Bend. This location is wildly convenient. In a perfect world, you'd fill up your tank, hit the the Starbucks drive thru and go. But alas, this is not a perfect world. This location is very inconsistent when it comes to beverage quality, wait times & if they decide to open at all for the day. Five cars in the drive thru can either take a normal 8 minutes to get in and get out. Or you can sit there not moving at all for like 12 minutes trying to decide if you should just leave but by the time you finally decide it's taking too long, it's too late...some other poor soul has pulled behind you. I have never seen a location closed so sporadically, although that seems to be a common theme in North Bend. This location gets 2 stars instead of 1 because I'm sure there are staffing hardships. You're probably better off going to Huxdotter 9 times out of 10, honestly. Huxdotter doesn't do holiday beverages quite like Starbucks unfortunately. read more

Wowza every time we are at this Starbucks the staff is rude and it takes so long! We love our Starbucks and just waited almost 40 minutes in the drive thru to get to the front and have the person completely disregard us for another 8 minutes and then hand us our drinks with no explanation and about burning our hands off. I've never been in a bad Starbucks store but this one is bad. It's really filthy and then you go into use the bathroom and it's outright disgusting. Garbage always on the floor, dirty floor, toilet and sinks and it smells. The sore used to have a cold snack counter but they took it out so it has less food options as well. read more

I try and stop here for coffee about once a month, as it's the halfway point of the trip. Service has always been slow. But today was the worst. Almost half an hour for a single drink. It has been a couple of years since they took out one of my favorite Starbucks stores from North Bend. This is the replacement store and it fulfills its purpose. This new store is more convenient especially if you are on a road trip and just need a Starbucks fix. It has sufficient seating for a fairly large crowd although it can only accommodate two people in the bathrooms. The baristas, when I was there were capable even though my whole milk vanilla latte was made with coconut milk the first time. It was quickly rectified and many apologies were given. Not really a big issue as I got my drink and it was perfect. The chonga bagels were fresh and toasted to perfection. The only negative, and the reason I gave it four stars, is that it is part of a gas station. read more

This is maybe the worse Starbucks I've been to. Everytime I come I order a venti frappe and a grande water but I come out with just a grande frappe. But I pay for the size of a venti. They never give me my recipes. They never would remake it. It's terrible service. If you want Starbucks I recommend stopping a different one in the area cause it is slow for one drink. Long line for the bathroom when I first entered the store. I really have to get hip and start using the order ahead on the app, so I don't have to wait for my drink, but the line for drinks wasn't nearly as long as that bathroom line. Glad I ordered a triple in my grande or I'd been drinking warm milk with sugar. Sometimes, the barista just doesn't pull the shots correctly, and that may have been the case when I visited. High traffic area with gas pumps just outside. Did Starbucks start selling gas? No, but those pumps make the atmosphere of this store just not quite right. However, if all you want is a coffee fix before hitting the road again, you might be able to fill your gas tank at almost the same time as ordering your coffee. read more

Worst Starbucks ever. They were the only coffee shop closed after it snowed. Once on the way back from skiing we pre-ordered coffee drinks so that we could run in and grab them and go, but when we got there the doors were locked. There was a sign that read. "lobby closed, please use drive-thru. It took 15 minutes to get our coffee and as you might have guessed, the coffee was room temp. Apparently someone made the coffee drinks to be picked up in the lobby but didn't consider that it could take a while to get to the window from the drive-thru. This Starbucks is notorious for messing up your order. Ask for medium roast & get dark. Ask for a decaf latte and get a non-fat latte. I know what you are thinking... Just go in and complain, right? If you are in a hurry there is no time to wait another 10 minutes for them to try and make coffee again. Lastly, I know it is a relaxed "small town" feel, but we do not all have time to sit in our car and converse at the drive-thru. It's a drive-thru. If you want to be treated like crap make sure to stop here. The baristas will tell you to use the bathroom next door in the gas station because as they say "it's usually cleaner than ours" and they don't honor the refills on iced tea unless you drink the tea while in the store. Starbucks' policy used to be "Just say Yes" but that's not the policy here. The evening shift baristas are more concerned with cleaning than with helping customers. read more

Wow, look at all the terrible reviews. I used to work at Starbucks, and it literally takes a ran-over squirrel to be able to do what these Barista's do. I went through the drive thru at 8:30PM on Friday night. Slow as ever, no cars in the drive thru. I asked for my food to be heated and for no foam and sprinkles. SUPER high maintenance for some, but i asked for it. I get to the window and the girl with only good looks going for her hands me my drink with nothing of what i asked for, and completely forgets my food and forgets to give me my card back. I was super nice when i asked, given that i had that job for 5 years. The girl literally missed everything. I hope SBux is training their employees more than how to make coffee and clean under fridges, because service is shit. read more

Understaffed and always busy Starbucks. Be prepared for everything running out and empty milk/half and half containers. The place has clean bathrooms and fast drive thru window. The problem is that there is not enough people to run this high volume shop. This Starbucks is popular due to the location right next to snoqualmie and next to the North Bend premier outlets. Expect lines and nothing fast. Overall, it's a little below average for the big city, but great for a small town like North Bend. I've lived in North Bend for a over a year and love Starbucks! I have gone to Starbucks consistently for years (gold card) but since moving here I have cut back because this store is awful. The wait is often ridiculous and the employees are rude. I have never felt so unwelcomed at a Starbucks. Also 4/5 times they mess up my drink...and never apologize. They make ME feel bad when they mess up my drink! If my husband and I go get Starbucks we drive 15min out of our way so we do not have to go to this store! The barista at the counter got my drink wrong after I tried to explain what I wanted. To not confuse her anymore, I just settled for something else. I came in with a tumbler that was clearly made for cold drinks but I got my drink hot. I didn't bother changing it (again) bc my boyfriend and I were crunched on time. I wish she'd confirm with me if I would like it hot or cold instead of making me feel rushed. I'm so glad I don't live anywhere near here. Poor customer service for sure. Yesterday, 08/14/14 at 8:48am, I stopped by for a venti drip. Found they were serving Sumatra as their dark roast option. I donlt like that roast. So, I TRIED to order a venti pour-over of italian roast. the woman at the counter got a twisted look on her face. obviously this was a stretch order for her and before I could state anything else, she told me, and I quote, they "don;t do pour overs. We don;t have a bag of italian roast open. But you can buy one..." When i started to state that i would take French, Caffe Verona or Espresso Roasts (which they certainly have "open," this woman called over her manager in what can only be described as a whining, and asked for assistance. She literally sounded like "we got another one..." The manager reinforced the policy that they "don;t do pour over" coffee, and that they only had Sumatra open. I simply asked for their names and they gladly offered them to me in a "whatcha gonna do now" attitude. Margaret Evan, was the counter person, Evan Ellington was the shift Supervisor. As I left, without even raising my voice, Evan said to my back, "Thanks again, never comeback." in hindsight, I should have not expected anything less from residence of North Bend, but am surprised this came from Starbuck employees. Not sure what's happening to this place. Used to be pretty good. Second time in a week they made my same drink incorrectly. Just a standard order. When I went back in to have it corrected the lead/manager glared at me and didn't say a word. No apology, no nothing. Sorry, but when I pay almost $5.00 for a cup of coffee I'd like it to be what I ordered. Starbucks.... You need to take a look at who's working here and make some changes.
