Aroma Cafe is amazing! I would give it 4.5/5 stars - rounding up to 5 here. The ambiance is so cozy and friendly, and the treehouse and outside area are the best! One of the best outside areas I've come across at coffee shops/cafes. Their signature drink selection is quite fun. I opted for the Bee in a Tree latte, which is made with burnt honey and cinnamon, and enjoyed it (I usually get plain lattes!). They have steamers for kiddos - I got my daughter one with the burnt honey flavor and she loved it. The pastry selection is wonderful though I would personally give a 4/5 to all the ones I tried. The matcha almond cake uses almond extract which I personally don't like. The white chocolate raspberry muffin didn't have the white chocolate come through enough and could use more raspberries. My daughter chose the double chocolate muffin which didn't seem to actually have chocolate chips in it. Other notable mentions - free wifi, clean bathroom, and an adult only upstairs seating area. Parking is in back and could feel limited if it's busy. We came on a Wednesday morning and there weren't many spots remaining. It's also right next door to the library! My son had a Lacrosse game at Chief Kanam Middle School. Downtown Fall City is very close by. After searching breakfast burrito, this was the only place that popped up in the area. Breakfast Burrito (3): It's a very small, bite-sized, refrigerated burrito in their customer accessible fridge as you walk in. They have a veggie and a chorizo. I opted for the chorizo. It was actually pretty tasty and the salsa they serve it with was a verde salsa which was slightly sweet with a slight kick. Not too spicy. It was good just very small especially for $10. Medium Roast Drip coffee (4): decent drip. Overall, this was a nice cafe and likely your only option in the area for breakfast burritos and decent coffee. read more

Highly recommend the Matcha Almond cake or the Apple Fritter for a sweets, I like the jalapeño pepper jack bagel (blazing bagels) for a savory. Staff is very friendly also. There is an upstairs area for extra seating and you can't miss the tree house ! This spot can get busy , but it's worth it . We live in Redmond and we make the drive to grab a cup on the weekends . This cafe is so cute. You can definitely tell that this is a town favorite as soon as you walk up, you are greeted by a gorgeous treehouse. That is super kid friendly and there is no shortage of kind smiles. When you walk into the establishment. There are 3 options for gluten free foods: the banana walnut chocolate chip muffin, the lemon blueberry muffin and the house made biscotti.. while it is not a gluten free kitchen they do their best to accommodate and eliminate the potential risk of cross contamination by using separate utensils and different stations while baking. They have a very nice rocking chairs in the front to create a warm and welcoming ambience and the coffees they sell by the bag also smell amazing. I got the pumpkin pie latte per request of the cashier and it was so good! It tasted just like a pie. The price was also reasonable for a coffee. I also tried an apple cider which was sweet and fall tasting. The interior is clean and welcoming. I liked how they had the history of the building inside, it was neat to read while waiting. I LOVE the variety of drinks here! There are a lot of fun and rather unique drinks to sample. They have a Nutella latte, foraged latte, and a lavender rose latte. I of course went for the foraged latte! It had a mixture of pine and fir needle flavors with the needles foraged in aromas "back yard" a delightfully aromatic drink! Unfortunately the flavor of the espresso was not prominent. I found the drink to be pretty pricy for only 16 oz. I also got a bagel, which was also pretty expensive and didn't come with enough cream cheese. The seating is very cozy, not very much room inside but still super nice and simply decorated. Located in a beautiful house, the space is inviting, and the products here are of quality. It's the best place to get coffee in Fall City. I visited Fall City early in the morning and needed some caffeine, so of course I had to check out Aroma Coffee. The menu offers a lot of different coffee and tea drinks, and they even make their own kombucha, which I need to definitely try for next time. On a hot day, I ordered the Fall City Float, which is a nitro cold brew over vanilla ice cream. The cold brew was strong and robust, and the vanilla ice cream added some sweetness and a creamy texture to the drink, making it a wonderful drink for a hot day in the sun. Aroma Coffee has something to offer for everyone here in Fall City. In addition to drinks, they also have some pastries and you can get items in the fridge to go, like their house-made kombucha. The space inside is nice if you want to hang out with your goods, and they have a porch with some outdoor seats. Anytime I'm in the area, Aroma Coffee is where I'll get my caffeine fix. read more

We call this going for "fancy coffee" in town so the kids know which coffee shop we're headed to. (The "regular" shop is in Preston where we tend to pass by more often) but it's a big treat to stop in at Aroma! The food is worth the walk up and the lines are never as long as they seem. The wait for something tasty is usually an exciting surprise and I've never gotten the same thing twice because it's always fun to order at random on this particular menu. It's definitely a local hipster vibe on the next level but it is the heart of where it tends to be happening in town year round! A sunny October day was the perfect time to visit Aroma Coffee. It's cozy inside with more noise and bustle downstairs. If you're looking for quiet, there's outdoor seating and adults-only upstairs seating in two smaller rooms. Aroma Coffee would be a great place to meet up. As a place to work, it was a bit busier than I preferred. But, there is a solution for that. The Fall City Library next door happens to be a fantastic place to do work. It's all about the treehouse and the quiet. Inside is no different from most coffee houses, small, uncomfortable, a little loud on the music front, and definitely not a place to linger. And while the service was great, it really wasn't any more great than the better coffee houses in eastern King County. The rocking chairs on the porch are terrific for cuddling up to a good book, but I kinda wish the chairs inside made it more of a destination coffee joint and not just another place to grab a cup to go. Overall, very good, but that 5th star won't come until it's perfect. read more

Aroma coffee is a delight. My husband and I drive here as often as we can all the way from auburn. It's worth a drive. The coffee is so wonderful. I'm dairy free and certain oat milks that coffee shops use make the coffee taste really bad- not here! The oat milk they use is delicious and you wouldn't know it's dairy free. Last time I was there I had the salted maple latte and it's divine. I'm on my way there now and am looking forward to another one. I've also had them make my normal oat milk latte with honey and it's fantastic. The food is wonderful too. The hot food is great and we have had many baked goods which are exceptional. It's cozy and the building is historic so it has wonderful vibes. Sometimes it's hard to find a seat but that's because it's such a wonderful communal space. The people who work here are helpful and kind, a wonderful distinction from other places that serve great coffee. Go and enjoy it! read more

I come in here and support frequently, last week my apartment flooded so I was working in here today- was about to go and order my second drink and a afternoon snack however some not so nice lady came over and abruptly told me they are closing early (right that second) I could however sit outside because their internet extended that far. It was freezing. No one mentioned a single time the whole two hours I'd been there they were closing early not when I grabbed my first coffee or when anyone walked by. I hadn't heard a single mention of it to any other customers either. On top of that their guest internet was not working all day- luckily I could use my personal hot spot on my phone but all around very frustrating and not what I would expect from aroma. Had a deadline I had to meet by 230 that I had to complete the work for in my car. read more

I love their charming renovated house turned little coffeehouse with a comfortable patio under the giant conifer. The food and drink are good, but they served day-old lemon-cranberry loaf and chocolate-banana bread, and okay Americano made of beans roasted by Camber in Bellingham. It's okay to sell day-old. I even prefer it to throwing food away--just discount it, which would help move old inventory for new. Simplifying the menu is excellent, except when they eliminate my choices: they stocked no sucralose (Splenda), nor sweet cream. They also flubbed my order, adding only a dash of half-n-half, thus letting the under-roasted acidic taste clear through. One minor note: they waste cups by nesting one in another and adhere non-recyclable printed stickies. Use instead recyclable paper coozies. Overall though, staff has good teamwork and synchronizes well to meet the crush, but their order entry workflow can miss and mixup details. read more

First off, I love this location, the mission, decor, staff, and vibe. Looks like yummy fresh bakery goods from local vendors as well, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which is great. It is such a fun gathering place. However, I have only tried their signature coffee drinks twice now, but both times I felt like my drinks were way too sweet (I got the bee in a tree, and the salted maple latte) - both times I couldn't discern any coffee taste amidst all the other flavors going on and even with oat milk, my drink was watery. My friend got a cardemon latte and she felt it was too sweet as well so she couldn't finish it. All that to say, I like the mission/venue so much, I will definitely return and hope to next time ask for less flavoring, less sweetness, or just go with something more basic to see how their coffee tastes then! read more

Seriously need to get to the bottom of this donut place I've been sleeping on, this could be the firs for second best donut I've ever had I'm my life. Such good coffee. If you live in the valley, this is the place to have the perfect cup of coffee. I live in North Bend, so coming here is a 15 min drive, but that's ok because Aroma is hands down the best option around. The breakfast sandwich I had was amazing too! It was delicious, crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, perfect. I'm so glad these guys are around now because they have become my go to coffee shop. There's also so many nooks and crannies to find, it's like this place was made custom to fit COVID-life these days. Upstairs is a kid-free quiet little nook that's so nice, and I hear they're getting a kids corner downstairs soon. Best of both worlds. So well thought out.
