If the PNW was a coffee shop, it would be Aroma! This is probably my favorite coffee shop of all time. The drinks are phenomenal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is so cozy and warm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have plenty of lounge space both inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Most amazingly, it's home to Pete's Treefort! I've had the most lovely experience here every time I visit. As far as bites and sips go, they have a great menu! My favorite has to be their Salted Maple Latte. I love a salty sweet moment. While I haven't ventured into their food menu, their case is always full of gorgeous baked goods.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A very cozy, homey coffee shop down in fall city![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Amazing coffee and ALWAYS amazing service with the nicest baristas ever. Stop by for some delicious drinks and pastries, and they even have food you can grab for a quick breakfast or lunch! A must have!

My son had a Lacrosse game at Chief Kanam Middle School. Downtown Fall City is very close by. After searching breakfast burrito, this was the only place that popped up in the area. Breakfast Burrito (3): It's a very small, bite-sized, refrigerated burrito in their customer accessible fridge as you walk in. They have a veggie and a chorizo. I opted for the chorizo. It was actually pretty tasty and the salsa they serve it with was a verde salsa which was slightly sweet with a slight kick. Not too spicy. It was good just very small especially for $10. Medium Roast Drip coffee (4): decent drip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, this was a nice cafe and likely your only option in the area for breakfast burritos and decent coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Aroma Cafe is amazing! I would give it 4.5/5 stars - rounding up to 5 here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is so cozy and friendly, and the treehouse and outside area are the best! One of the best outside areas I've come across at coffee shops/cafes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their signature drink selection is quite fun. I opted for the Bee in a Tree latte, which is made with burnt honey and cinnamon, and enjoyed it (I usually get plain lattes!). They have steamers for kiddos - I got my daughter one with the burnt honey flavor and she loved it. The pastry selection is wonderful though I would personally give a 4/5 to all the ones I tried. The matcha almond cake uses almond extract which I personally don't like. The white chocolate raspberry muffin didn't have the white chocolate come through enough and could use more raspberries. My daughter chose the double chocolate muffin which didn't seem to actually have chocolate chips in it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other notable mentions - free wifi, clean bathroom, and an adult only upstairs seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking is in back and could feel limited if it's busy. We came on a Wednesday morning and there weren't many spots remaining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's also right next door to the library! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, great cafe and kid friendly for those interested :)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Adorable little shop with a treehouse open to the public built by Pete Nelson.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Double chocolate muffin and hot chocolate with whip cream hit the spot.

What is there to NOT love about Aroma? They serve the best coffee ever, Camber Coffee beans. Their classic and unique drink options are the highest quality and made with love by the kindest, friendliest staff in the valley. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The way they have retro-fitted this historic home into a cozy, community centered place to gather is nothing less than genius.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend Aroma to anyone and everyone that can appreciate delicious drinks, pastries, and a hometown vibe. My personal faves are Bee in a Tree, Vanilla Bean latte, Spicy Chai, and the Affogato.

Just something special about this place. Good coffee, good number of options for food and pastries, friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But really the highlight is the personal and community vibe this spot has.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They got something really good going here. Definitely worth a visit.

    Rosemary Latte

I drive 30-minutes for the best rosemary latte, with the honey lavender a close second! My new favorite coffee shop in WA. Great, friendly service with great outdoor seating and plenty of indoor spaces as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quintessential coffee house (in a literal house) with creative drinks, tasty treats, and cute merchandise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great little spot fall city. Cozy coffee shop/cafe. Coffee is great, smooth and delicious. It's sourced from Camber Coffee from Bellingham, WA. Highly recommend the Matcha Almond cake or the Apple Fritter for a sweets, I like the jalapeño pepper jack bagel (blazing bagels) for a savory. Staff is very friendly also. There is an upstairs area for extra seating and you can't miss the tree house ! This spot can get busy , but it's worth it . We live in Redmond and we make the drive to grab a cup on the weekends . Hope you make it out to this spot!

This cafe is so cute. You can definitely tell that this is a town favorite as soon as you walk up, you are greeted by a gorgeous treehouse. That is super kid friendly and there is no shortage of kind smiles. When you walk into the establishment. There are 3 options for gluten free foods: the banana walnut chocolate chip muffin, the lemon blueberry muffin and the house made biscotti.. while it is not a gluten free kitchen they do their best to accommodate and eliminate the potential risk of cross contamination by using separate utensils and different stations while baking. They have a very nice rocking chairs in the front to create a warm and welcoming ambience and the coffees they sell by the bag also smell amazing. I would add this coffee shop to your visit when you come into fall city!

    pumpkin pie latte
    Julie D.

I got the pumpkin pie latte per request of the cashier and it was so good! It tasted just like a pie. The price was also reasonable for a coffee. I also tried an apple cider which was sweet and fall tasting. The interior is clean and welcoming. I liked how they had the history of the building inside, it was neat to read while waiting. There is a small parking lot as well as street parking. Inside and outside has plenty of seating. I really enjoyed sitting under the heated patio on a rainy day. Hope I can stop by again!

    Sarai G.

Drove out for this & it was so worth it! The best coffee spot for children & adults to enjoy! The new treehouse is wonderful for imaginative play! The grass area where children can run around while parents enjoy their actually hot coffee. Parking can be limited due to the small parking area & 5min street parking closest to the shop. Their spicy chai tea latter was spot on. Their pastries were perfect. It was a busy morning yet my order was out quick.

Trendy and cozy ambiance, very intentionally decorated and maintained. Kid-friendly (cute outdoor play area) with ample seating on both floors. Service was good, the line moved quick enough and coffee came out efficiently. Lots of unique signature drinks. I enjoyed the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, it was sweet but the chocolate chips were a great addition. I had high hopes for my Bourbon Vanilla Latte but was disappointed with the weak coffee and muddled flavor. I would consider coming back if it were convenient

The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I'd definitely love to come back with my watercolours and paint it. Since this is my book bestie's fave coffee shop spot, I'm sure we'll be back here soon! I'm super excited to keep exploring their seasonal drinks.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more We stopped at Huxdotter Coffee in North Bend on Friday and ordered a 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, a 16 oz Mango Smoothie, and a ham and cheese croissant through the drive-through. At the window, we received the croissant and the 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, but were handed a 12 oz Mango Smoothie. We immediately pointed out that the drink was the wrong size. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake and correcting the order, the employee told us that the order had been entered as a 12 oz drink. We reiterated that we had specifically ordered a 16 oz Mango Smoothie. Instead of saying something as simple as, "I'm sorry, we'll remake that for you," we were told that she would have to refund the original charge and then charge us again for the 16 oz drink. Seriously? Apparently, Huxdotter has developed an innovative new approach to customer service: If we make a mistake, the customer gets to fix it. The mistake wasn't ours. We ordered a 16 oz drink, and the employee or the person taking the order entered it incorrectly. Yet instead of taking responsibility for the error and providing the customer service one would reasonably expect, we were essentially given a bureaucratic explanation of why correcting their mistake was going to require additional transactions. We were on our way to an appointment and didn't have time to wait around sorting out an issue that should have taken less than a minute to resolve. We simply said, "Never mind," and left. What is especially disappointing is that this wasn't about the cost of a smoothie. It was about how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen. Good businesses acknowledge them, apologize, and make them right. Telling the customer that they have to go through a refund and repurchase process because the business entered the order incorrectly is simply poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that we won't be going back. There are plenty of coffee shops willing to treat their customers better.
