Sadly, more like a rude awakening. To start off, I enjoy the flavor of the coffee here. It's generally quite good. The late morning, early afternoon person rocks. However, the attitude of the morning staff is just terrible. 3 of the last four visits have been poor. The two women working the morning shift are really rude. Today, I ordered a hot 16oz white coffee, with oat milk, and half the normal vanilla. The lady taking my order proceeds to tell me with a scowl on her face, that I order my drink "weird" and can't keep track. I repeat my order, then ask politely, "how should I order that?" Her: A 16oz latte... Me: With white coffee Her: Yeah Me: and oat milk Her: Yeah Me: half the vanilla Her: Yeah Me: Isn't that what I just said, I just didn't use the specific word latte? Her: I don't know, whatever... I also ordered a 32oz iced latte. They made it 24oz. When I asked if it was the 32oz, the barista said, "no, you ordered a 24oz. You want 32oz now?" As she complains to the other barista that she knows I ordered 24oz (um, I'm right here, I can hear you) she pours the 24oz into the 32oz cup, angrily throws the 24oz cup across to the trash, then just adds milk to my 32oz cup. 24oz gets 4 shots, 32oz gets 5, but I guess whiners have to settle for 4 today. She then asks, "do you want to add a tip to that?" Sadly, I'm a yes man, so I replied, "sure, $5 please." No thank you, nothing, just turned her back and walked away. Like I said, there has been a poor attitude 3 of the last 4 trips here. It's not isolated. I think like their barista, I'll be turning my back and walking away too...I'm done with this place. read more

I was torn about this place, I ordered two drinks one was fabulous and the other was not. I strongly recommend ordering a white chocolate coconut Frappuccino-so good, it's sweet but deliciously creamy. The 2nd drink was an iced latte with coconut and I wasn't prepared for them to put in actual coconut flakes. The coconut flakes ruined the drink. read more

Terrible service. Gross Coffee. And the owner likes to make nasty comments online about people who leave bad reviews. Who does that? I wanted to like this coffee shack, it was on my way. However, the coffee tastes like it's old, burned, and has a weird smell (old milk?) . The staff is always rude, can't count change, and has no time for customer questions and it's isn't because of the line because it's always empty. Apparently, other people have had enough of it too. This place is always for sale but no takers. I wanted to support local businesses. But this place has issues. It is expensive for coffee that seems like it's made the day before or longer and warmed up. There are so many things wrong with this place. Staying in Snoqualmie for a traveling nurse position and this coffee shop was close to the house I am renting. Coffee is just mediocre, baristas aren't particularly friendly and the long wait in line is very frustrating but it was close on my way to work. I was already contemplating finding a new place and now its not even open in the morning anymore. I've tried going several times on my way to work around 6-6:30 am and they haven't been open at that time with no indication why. I've checked their website and it says open at 5 am. I will probably just start going to Dark Horse instead. It seems this place consistently has brand new employees that dont stay long. Received a still frozen cinnamon roll along with my drink. But it's also pretty sad when my 12 year old daughter comments; I don't think this is a family friendly stand because one girl had a top on that showed her whole stomach and back, cleavage and under boob. The other girls top had cleavage and her shorts showed the bottom of her butt cheeks.. I did use to like this stand when the girls were super sweet small town girls, man have times changed. Unfortunately, probably some of the worst coffee I've ever had. My husband got a mocha. Nothing fancy. I got a blended latte with a flavor. His drink tasted like the milk was spoiled and the coffee was old. Mine was so overly sweet, I couldn't drink it. Very disappointed that we paid nearly $15 (including a tip) for two drinks that had to be tossed. Two star review because at least the girls were friendly. read more

I've followed this little stand on Instagram for quite some time because I really wanted to try them and I like supporting local businesses. Well five months later, I did and I was not disappointed!! I ordered the Mint Frango specialty coffee drink and my husband ordered his go-to, a white mocha. Both were delicious, I know, because I had to try his as well :) The coffee was balanced so not too sweet, just enough to give you some flavor and still allow the coffee flavor and notes to come through. The gal that day was very personable and funny, she cracked us up. Very glad I came here, sorry it took me so long to come here (5 months of stalking on Insta..lol), and will definitely be returning.....frequently! read more

Fast service which is probably the only good thing about the experience. Went there with a friend for the first time, rudely hassled as if we were a bother as the only customers there. Coffee was fine, but $6 for a 12oz? Never thought I would see the day Starbucks had better pricing... as from calculating pricing it should've been around $5. Barista took my phone with my credit card across the store to make the payment, and when asked I did not give a tip. But I can't confirm wether or not she decided to add one herself as there was no access for me to see the screen or payment. And it would explain more if that is why the coffee turned out to be that much for such a small amount... Would have loved to add this as a go to local coffee shop as it's super cute but unfortunately fell very flat due to the service. read more

Quick, friendly and delicious! This place is easily becoming part of my morning ritual! I live locally and enjoy sitting at a few of the other coffee shops in town, but in terms of quality of the drinks and friendliness of the staff, I think This place is definitely the best in town. The gals that work here are always soooo friendly (maybe they're extra caffeinated), and always have good recommendations. They also have some snacks and breakfast foods if you're stopping here on your way into work. If you want something different, try the red bull Italian soda with mango and coconut. The gal recommended sugar free redbull and it was heavenly. My favorite coffee drink is the caramel macchiato! read more

Very nice staff. I love that they dedicate two spaces to their employees and the employees seemed to be enjoying working there and that is lovely to see at any establishment. At the end of the day, it just wasn't good coffee. I got an Americano black like I often do elsewhere and it just tasted stale and lacking any real flavor. I think this place has all the tools to be a great coffee spot, the owner just needs to be willing to spend money on some better product. read more

I found this quaint little place by a quick google search since I was around the area and was in desperate need for a good cold drink and thought what's better than an iced coffee on a hot day? So this place came up and honestly it was the name that drew me in - Brewing Awakening - is such a cute name and I thought with "brewing" in their name, it should have good coffee. I mean, that's makes sense, right? And I was right! I ordered a basic mocha iced coffee and it was strong, not too much ice and prepared very well. It was quick service and not too engaging but that was fine by me. So if you need a good coffee, don't want to get out of your car (it's a drive thru, currently) and are in the area, check out this place! read more

Ive worked with coffee and beverages for a while.. this place is hands down one of the worst. I kid you not, you are wasting your time just by looking at the building. The staff was rather rude when my little sister had questions, if you dont want to work or you hate who you work for its fine, but dont take it out on guests. It's unfortunate that the owner seems to ignore all negative reviews here while also allowing their employees to break the law. I attempted to go here today but when I walked up to the window and saw the barista not wearing a mask, I was disgusted and left immediately. It is against the King County mask mandate for businesses to allow employees to not wear masks. Not only is it unsanitary during a global pandemic, but it is extremely disrespectful to care so little about protecting the community you serve. I reported this violation to the county, as it is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I love Brewed Awakening! I have been going here since it opened and a a huge fan. Not going to lie, I have had a bad experience or 2 but I have always been able to reach out to the owner and it has been addressed and improved. She has even supported my daughter by buying girl scout cookies to use in the drinks. I love the coffee and other items they have (especially smoothies and bagel breakfast sandwiches) and I love the staff - everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Great place for Coffee. read more

Friendly staff and an interesting menu with lots of options. Love supporting local businesses but, unfortunately, I don't care for their espresso drinks or their drip coffee. I am not sure how to describe the flavor of their coffee. Mild and somewhat sour comes to mind. Their milkshakes are great. In a pinch, my son is happy to eat their hotdog. I recommend avoiding the "bagel dog," which might be tasty if baked in an oven until a little crispy, but was a soggy disappointment out of (I assume) the microwave. read more

I used to get my coffee exclusively at Starbucks, but since finding this place, it's our new go-to for coffee. The espresso drinks are excellent and the staff are always friendly. Secondly, I gave an hour notice and was told at that time it wouldn't be a problem, not "we require 24 hrs notice". But whatever, don't need to hear from you ever again happily! I don't write bad reviews but if I'm at the point of doing so it's because I've given it several chances. This used to be one of my favorite places, not sure what has happened but its definitely not the same. In the times I've visited that lead me up to leaving this review, I pull up, same barista, and she instantly appears irritated. It's a few minutes before noon..and I'm wanting lunch so ask for a hot dog. She replies with they aren't ready because she's been so busy. So I come through a few days later, again, trying to support local businesses, used to be a good place and I'm genuinely hungry on top of wanting my usual coffee...which is close to 6$, not a cheap drip coffee just to clarify. I get a 30 minute lunch break and drove here specifically for coffee plus lunch. Once again, same person, is too busy so no sandwiches or hot dogs just past 12. I get a coffee as I always do and it's horrible, again. I get an iced peppermint mocha, nothing too crazy. Specifically, it has hardly any flavor and tastes very watered down. I guess my question is this, if you serve food and have a sign out indicating that, wouldn't you have it ready to go at lunch time? If not the case, no big deal because truly I'm going for the coffee, but don't advertise food if it's going to be too inconvenient to make or not ready and make sure your coffee can compete with other local coffee stands. This makes me sad because it was one of my favorites and I'm very loyal and a great tipper when I find a good place but being made to feel like you're putting someone out doesn't make a person want to come back and I'm sure isn't helping the owner of this business out either. read more

My family and I came through today. We came all the way north from Tacoma to enjoy the snow. It got rained out and so we decided to stop for a cup of coffee and some food on our way out. I am absolutely appalled with the service and quality of this business. I was not only greeted by a rude barista, but my coffee taste burnt. My kids drinks were entirely too hot. Even for me, they burned both of my kids mouths and mine. If I ask for drinks to be made at kid temps I expect them to be made at kid safe temperatures. I spent $30 on cheap snacks I could have paid 1/4 of the price for. The bags of food they gave us had condensation on the inside and looked as though they were starting to mold. I did not serve this to my kids and had to waste $4 on a pastry. My husband got biscuits and gravy and it was a cold cup of gravy with half of a biscuit smashed into it. By the time we got it there was just a cold soggy mess. I don't know how involved the owner is in this company, but I recommend they retrain their staff. I will never be returning here again. read more

Stopped here to grab bagels and drinks on our way out of town. Cute place but no bathrooms. Our bagels were not even warm after being "toasted." The lady was not very friendly and didn't ask what condiments we wanted on our bagel sandwich before slapping mayo and mustard on. Cream cheese Philadelphia packets are used on the refrigerated bagels. Not the best choice. read more

Where do I even start? The coffee is brewed as if It was made from the hands of accent coffee wizards. Never a bad experience at this stand. Some of the nicest ( and gorgeous) baristas in town! They also started offering PB&J sandwiches, witch are a personal favorite of mine. read more

This place is seriously awesome. The service is hands down some of the best I've had. One time I clumsily spilled my drink in my car. They gave me tons of extra towels and remade the drink for free. Today my wife got her punch card full and they charged us for the less expensive drink! Not only that but they're coffee is pretty great too. read more

I've yet to have a decent cup of coffee from this place. Chai is gritty (they use a powder), lattes have no flavor and every time I order extra hot latte it's barely lukewarm. I'm not sure what's going on but I can't seem to score anything here but tepid water! Please improve product, service and attention to detail. read more
