The coffee bean for the latte was nutty, chocolatey, and had a nice strong coffee taste to them. We also had some cute company (a doggie) in the cafe to enjoy our meal with us. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. Every time I have come in the last year (1x a week or so) I am met with a feeling of judgement, annoyance and entitlement from the employees. Even asking a simple question when ordering or at the pickup bar seems to be met with immediate annoyance and defensiveness. I will say Dalia is a sweetheart, and her coworkers could learn a thing or 2 from her..... "Hux energy" which I think is just lotus are okay but are $7-8 which seems a little ridiculous for sparkling water and energy base lol. Overall I hope they can turn this business back around it's unfortunate to see a local coffee shop go down hill because of bad employees!

I've been here twice now, and both visits left me with the same impression: a lack of customer…read moreservice that seems to impact both the customer experience and overall efficiency. On both visits, I was not greeted or acknowledged for some time while staff appeared focused on conversations with one another or in their own world working on something. A simple hello and recognition that a customer has entered goes a long way. I understand that making drinks and preparing food takes time, but there seems to be an opportunity to improve efficiency especially when there is more than one staff person working. Also, when customers feel welcomed and staff are attentive (with a smile), the entire experience tends to run more smoothly. The biggest issue wasn't the wait itself, it was feeling overlooked as a customer. With a little more focus on customer service and teamwork, I think the experience could improve significantly.
