Mocha frapp!!! It is way better than Starbucks!!!
Roger P.

Hole in the wall type of place for sure!!! Mocha frapp is frothy but not icy. No chunks of ice left in the coffee. Flavor is extra good. You taste real coffee in there and it's not super sweet like other places. Just the right blend and combination! Barrista was very friendly and helpful in our decision. My friend tried their peanut butter mocha frapp and it was amazing too! The peanut butter flavor was just perfect. The coffee was there and nothing was over compensating. Just right. Their chai frapp was also excellent too. So far, they are 3 for 3 on their drinks... Gotta definitely recommend this place! In my book, they are a straight 5 out of 5 star. No need to talk about the location.... Definite hole in the wall place! It's small and remote but you can't miss it. It's light blue with a yellow roof. Nice service. But the drinks makes up for any little flaws that you may find... Not that I've seen any. Come and try it, you won't regret a second of it!!! Cheers!

I wasn't satisfied with any of the local coffee shops in my area until I found Wakey-wakey. The coffee is great and the prices are super reasonable. Our last snow day, I pulled in and they were open and serving. Great customer service.

Peanut butter mocha frapp = BOMB!!

Always cheerful, not always fast, always excellent coffee! And far less expensive than the big coffee chains.

Fried okra Strawberry lemonade and sweet tea. Everything was fried to perfection fish and chicken were crispy and juicy! Red Beans perfectly cooked! (Hate watery beans) And it looked beautiful. I mean check my pics. My only gripe and the only reason i did not give 5 stars .... the food was not seasoned. Not a spec of salt or spice. No pepper, no garlic powder, no onion powder, no cayenne. We were very confused lol I'm hoping it was a fluke because everything about this place is great . Especially the people who run it. So we will be back and hopefully the food will be seasoned because thats literally the only negative i have to say.

I was born and raised in Georgia so maybe that's why the taste is so bland. The meatloaf just tasted burnt and like they dumped half the container of pepper in it. The Mac N cheese was decent. They do give generous portion sizes. My son's shrimp Po boy was decent. The lettuse was not limp or wilted. My daughter's bidcuits and gravy looked flavorful but I've had jar gravy that had more flavor. The biscuits were moist. The hash brown were not crispy at all just soggy. I sent the meatloaf back requesting that it be removed from my bill. I took one small fork full to taste it. My daughters captain platter has a burnt flavor as well according to her. I did not try hers. If you want food that is bursting with flavor like true southern food, go somewhere else. But if all you care about is polite service and generous portions then this is the place for you.

Upon entering we were greeted by a gracious hostess, Sheeta. She was very welcoming, patient and kind while seating us. Jenn and I were seated and placed our beverage orders with Sheeta. I wanted to try their bloody mary; I've never had one...and, after that one, I don't plan on having another ever! It's really not a drink flavor genre I'm partial to. Our waitress Shelly took our order, I can honestly say I've absofreakinlutely had better customer service. Jenn ordered biscuits and gravy and an order of country fried steak and eggs to go. Once she stated her request Shelly asked for her order specifics in a stem quiz like manner. That threw me off so when she turned to me I said "Gimme a minute so I can study for the quiz!" I thought it was funny, so did Jenn...Shelly simply walked away. Eventually she returned and I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito with country style potatoes. My platter wasn't eat-worthy in my most honest, humble opinion and I did try to doctor it up a bit but there's only so much you can do in critical condition. The potatoes were hit and miss...literally; one bite of potato would be just right and the next bite would be luke warm or not fully cooked through. I'm addition I was going to pick between hotcakes and french toast, after choosing between country potatoes or hash browns for my burrito dish she said thanks and swiftly walked away. She remained short with us. I observed Shelly interacting with her other guests and she was very personable, polite and eager to recommend dishes...stark reality: everyone else in the restaurant was white with the acception of another interracial couple and the awesome hostess. I believe they received the same short sited service we got! It was a disgusting exhibit of 2 faces in 1 person. Jenn's biscuits and gravy showed up 1st. She took a bite then asked me to taste it, with a sour look...which made me say 'no thank you' right off the bat! She said the gravy was bland and didn't really taste like gravy...she added salt and pepper, a lot of pepper. Then the country fried steak and eggs arrived and the steak had too much breading with no real flavor or seasoning to the steak, it made the whole entree taste like "mush," she explained. The eggs would've been ok if they hadn't had the gravy on them. While we were attempting to eat either dish at our table my breakfast burrito arrived and...I was abundantly underwhelmed. It was 'cakey' and dry and after mixing the sour cream, salt and pepper into the pico de gallo, the burrito still had no real taste context...not even breakfast, much less a breakfast in Mexico! The next day I tried to doctor up the burrito to no avail...it was no use. I won't be back; Egregious Epic Fail!

I was surprised that the rest of the world (aka the people walking by on the sidewalk) disappeared while we had good conversation and great food. We ordered the cheese curds along with the spicy dry rub wings. The cheese curds were delicious, and all of the dipping sauces were excellent, but for me, the real star of the show was the dry rub wings. They were perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had just the right amount of spice. I also ordered the BBB Signature Cocktail without the whiskey, and it was refreshing and delicious. Our server was upbeat, fun, and incredibly sweet. In fact, every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere felt like a true neighborhood pub, with plenty of TVs for watching the game and lots of regulars who clearly feel at home there. The guests seated in front of us were chatting with our waitress like old friends, which really added to the warm, community feel of the place. If you're looking for a laid-back neighborhood bar with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit

Only downside - I think their space is somewhat awkward for seating and overall flow. However they are doing what they can with what they have so it's not a knock on them per se, just putting it out there that the flow is a little off especially when busy.

The biscuit was good but I wish they gave you the option to warm it up. The rice krispie s'mores was not too sweet and the density was just right. I wish the service was more consistent. The first cashier seemed upset and wasn't very friendly. The second when I ordered coffee was much more pleasant.
