According to my recent reviews, my hunt for the best matcha is going strong. I have been to Realfine's Fauntleroy location (connected to Rudy's Barbershop) a couple years ago and it was soooo good! I saw they opened this location, and I pass it almost everyday, but haven't made the time to stop in... now I regret not coming sooner! I appreciate the consistency in service and quality. I walked in and was greeted with two friendly baristas! Being a barista myself, I have been out off by the lack of warmth I feel when I enter other coffee shops but that was not the case at Realfine-- which is a big reason why I will definitely be back! They were so nice and genuinely asking about my day and my pup that was in my arms, educating me on their drinks, offering to help me with the door and open the doggy treat jar, etc. I got an iced matcha latte with vanilla and oatmilk. Excellent neighborhood place for coffee, treats and a super friendly community vibe. I came here to get a little work done (not a ton of seating, but people seem pretty willing to share the five 4-tops and there is some bar seating along the window), and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The music is kept at a pleasant level, and the banter is cheerful. You can tell a lot of regulars love this place. They have a good looking selection of pastries and a separate case of Molly's sandwiches in addition to all the coffee drinks you desire. Cozy and sweet, love it! read more

Great space- nice natural lighting w/ the giant windows in front. The drip coffee was decent- a single origin Guatemalan, which was again decent. I thought it was a little over-roasted for my taste, but I will definitely go back and try again, as I was mtg an old friend and wasn't necessarily focused on my coffee. The staff was friendly and really encouraged me in my choice- which was nice- I can use all the encouragement I can get these days. The shop is located on a busy corner of 35th- which knocks it down, just for aesthetics, road noise (if you choose to sit outside) and ease of parking and whatnot. However, there is a conveniently placed crosswalk right there- you know the kind with the flashing lights and all. Overall, I'd say my experience was Real Fine. read more

Overall, service was pretty awkward. One of the two baristas kept speaking over the barista helping us. And as for the coffee, it doesn't taste like the white chocolate mocha I ordered. Tasted more like steamed milk with a hint of coffee. read more

Great latte in the neighborhood- what else would you want? This shop got me through COVID lockdown and so glad they are still running strong. The interior is spartan and clean, but it can be loud, and one of the baristas is a little too boisterous and vocal for that room. I wonder where did the old crew go? We miss you, Amy and Nicole! I'm not an avid coffee drinker and I think a Nespresso machine does as good of a job at brewing coffee as any coffee house, but the prices are average for a coffee shop. The location is great with adequate street parking. The inside is immaculately clean and observes COVID guidelines appropriately. It's a great place to stop in during a neighborhood walk. I hope they partner with more pop-up shops in the near future that pair well with coffee. read more

Ive been a fan of Realfine for years now and was delighted to see that they were opening a 3rd location. My go-to has always been their location on Fauntleroy because it was on the way to the West Seattle bridge and usually some work errands but now I split my time between both. This new location is on my way to work. :) Their espresso is a darker roast, which I love, and, somehow, is always severed as the perfect temperature for my latte. Their brought-in pastries and treats can be very popular, especially the gluten-free cornmeal, jam biscuit, so if you're gunning for one you might have to fight me off! Their Covid precautions are top notch and you can tell that safety for their staff and customers is of the utmost importance. I love to support local businesses and especially local coffee shops that I patron almost every day. If your routine has been thrown out of wack because of working home due to covid, or maybe because the WSB is down, don't forget to stop off here! There is great coffee right in your neighborhood and it's at Realfine! read more
