Iced coffee and sausage egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich's

Good coffee, the food is good, service is pretty quick however the price is insane. My brother and I stopped and got two 16 oz coffees, two croissant breakfast sandwiches, came out to 52 dollars after a 15% tip. Could've went to an actual restaurant and got a full meal for that price. Checked what this would cost at other places and it's almost half the price.

Just moved over to West Seattle and I always love To find new coffee, breakfast spots! I came across The Birdhouse. This a walk-up counter spot. Seating out side but no inside. They are known for their breakfast sandwiches. They have breakfast and regular sandwiches. I got a "build your own" with sausage egg avocado tomatoe on a brioche bun. It was delicious. They also have this fire cracker sauce which I loved. Next time I come I want to try and regular sandwich or the salmon bagel. One of my new fav spots in west Seattle. Come check them Out.

Was craving a bagel after my long run and so glad I came here! This was SUCH a good bagel. The person who took my order was super nice as well. Will definitely be back here to try their other stuff and a coffee next time

Lil' Verde w/sausage. Sorry I took a bite before taking a pic! :(

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I got the iced Cardi B (a latte with house-made cardamom brown sugar syrup with espresso and almond milk) and my fiance an iced mocha. The first sip of the Cardi B, my eyes rolled back, and I nodded to how good it was. It's not too sweet (I ordered all of this online on their website for pick up and was not able to ask for it half sweet, but glad they didn't over-sweeten it). The cardamom flavor is prominent, so if you don't like that flavor, I'd choose something else. I also ordered some breakfast items. I got the Lil' Verda, which is a breakfast burrito on a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, avocado, and salsa verde ( I also added sausage to it). It's pretty tasty! It's a big burrito for being on a medium flour tortilla. I got the fiancé a breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun (you can choose what bread you want; they even have gluten-free) that came with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and I added bacon for him (adding a meat was only $2, which is reasonable). As I said, I pre-ordered everything on their online ordering system. My order was ready when I got there as promised. The staff member who helped me was super nice and pointed out where the hot sauce (Tapatio) and straws were. They do have separate windows for ordering and pickup. If you order online, just head to the pick-up window. It is a little spendy (breakfast sandwich w/ added meat $10.75, burrito w/ added sausage $12.75, and two espresso drinks at roughly $8 and some change), however, everything is going up in price (Gas is up to $5.09 +), so take that as you will. Overall, it's a cute little spot nestled in a neighborhood. There is street parking, but it's in an area that isn't too hard to find parking, as it is further away from the very busy spots of West Seattle. I'd come back, perhaps take the fiancée there so we can enjoy it fresh.

I was actually really excited to try this place, especially their breakfast egg sandwich with "the works" but was really upset to see that the only part they added was the sauce. It was fine, but i'm definitely not just an egg and meat sandwich kind of person and really would've liked to try it the way I ordered. We had to get to the ferry so I didn't think to check my sandwich since the bag was specially labeled.

The food was okay could have had more flavor, I'm not sure it is something I'd go get again but it was fun trying, for 15$ you can get a breakfast sandwich which is a bit steep but it is a decent sized sandwich. The smoothie was great I wish I had more honestly. The Berry cookie I had was amazing I will say. The staff seemed really sweet and was pretty quick with getting my order. The vibe there was chill it is a little walk up window and not much outside seating but it was still cute.

Ye ol neighborhood stop. Service? Excellent Ambiance? Superior (walk up window) Food? Great. I had a veggie sando and it was delish aside from one very specific seasoning that Ive had before but don't know what it is and do not like. (Not their fault.)

Service is always nice here. Great loading area for the order and pick up. There are a lot of outdoor bistro seating as well if you just wanted to grab the bite there. And they keep a bowl of water out for the dogs

16oz latte and a sausage egg and cheese sandwich for $20. Latte was good, not special in and sandwich was not good at all. Service was good. Im sure the other food is good but value isn't there for me. Approx $8 latte and $12 sandwich.

Loved this place that was 5 min drive from our bnb, my boyfriend liked it so much we went back 2 days in a row. He got their strawberry lemonade and breakfast sandwich on a croissant. I got a honey lavender latter which was pretty good, the smoked salmon bagel that came with dill creme cheese, cucumbers and pickled red onions which was pretty good. The second time, I had got the Henderson hash which was so good and bigger portion than I expected. I wish it had a little more dressing but it was pretty good after I had added hot sauce, salt and pepper

A delightful spot to stumble upon while visiting Seattle. Even with a line forming, the staff kept things moving quickly and efficiently, making the wait short and pleasant. There's charming outdoor seating right out front--perfect for enjoying a coffee while people-watching or soaking up some fresh air. I tried the seasonal vanilla bean foam cold brew, and it was excellent: smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. Definitely worth a stop for both the coffee and the friendly atmosphere.

in the puget sound it's become easy to find a small banh mi shop in almost all towns and cities but…read morewhat isn't easy is finding places that reliably offer good quality food and clean eating areas. sometimes places are more known for takeout rather than eating on the premises but when you're craving a banh mi, lets me honest-----sometimes where you eat it isn't as important as where you bought it and today i found a legit place to put on your radar, if it isn't already. they do banh mi sandwiches and bun vermicelli noodle bowls and it was packed on a tuesday at lunchtime with people who had shown up and ordered on the large screen at the front counter and were waiting for their order's number to be called. i have some favorite places around the seattle area and going to be adding this one to the top of the list for the following reasons: SIZE: this banh mi was so big i couldn't finish it. it's going to become a second meal later today or tomorrow. TASTE/FLAVOR: great, fresh ingredients (pickled carrots and daikon) and yummy marinated tofu that had a sweet kind of sauce on it (maybe it was the mayo?!) the bread was fabulous consistency and crunch. PRICE: for the size and quality, the price was quite reasonable! this is dangerous to know about, considering it's on the peninsula and will help with the cravings when they strike. the only downfall is that parking is difficult. you may need to park a block away and walk since there's only spaces for 3-4 cars in front. while i was there, i literally saw a couple of cars double park to run in and grab their orders so maybe regulars know to expect that. pro tip: do not stand or park between a hungry person and their banh mi order

I'm updated my review to reflect a recent takeout dining experience…read more A couple weeks ago, we ordered 2 salads, and 2 sandwiches. We ordered pickup. Upon arrival to our house, the order was incorrect, whoopsie! We called back and the waiter who answered mentioned that we had accidentally taken a staff meal home. None of our to-go boxes were labeled. How could anyone know? This is a rookie mistake. It's been a while since this Goblin worked in food, but that's a non-negotiable. Especially given a place that prides itself on catering to restricted diets and lifestyles. This is exactly how you let a pumpkin seed slide into a seed allergy order. Instead of letting us keep the meal, she asked us to bring it back to the restaurant. We were happy to do so. Everyone deserves to eat. Should we have kept it for ourselves? We bring the food back, and the waiter explains that there was a mixup, and apologized. They handed us another to-go box (which wasn't labeled) and tried to end the conversation. "Have a good night!" We had to then explain to this waiter that our wives demanded something in return for the error, which was true. The waiter/bartender had a puzzled look on their face. Customer? Demanding I make something right? In my workplace?! A direct statement void of passivity about the quality of my service? With conditions? The audacity! We live in a world where we, the customer, bring back your incorrect order for you, waste our time, and we just get a, "thanks, have a good night!" This goblin had to claw his way up the ranks pillaging for gold which doesn't come easy. Everyone knows food cost in Seattle went up ~%46 since 2019. Wages haven't. We told the waiter our wives wanted a slice of cake. The waiter was shook by our audacity, and moved towards the fridge behind the bar to consult with two chefs who were shutting it down. We were arriving near/at close on a Monday. The other two chefs body language exuded "just give them the rest of the cake". There was a couple moments of pause and hushed conversation. The waiter pulled out a large serving plate with only a small chunk of Chocolate Mousse Cake left. Instead of putting that into a box, apologizing, and fixing the problem. They conferred about the legitimacy of our claim with the chefs. Hesitantly, they cut the cake into a small slice, put it in a box (which wasn't labeled) and handed it to us. What's hilarious is that they would leave such a small piece going into the next day of prep. Why not just 86 it right there? Why was it so hard for this person to acknowledge they made a mistake, and do something kind for us in return? The chefs clearly understood these fundamental building blocks of customer service, had they not been there in the front of house, I'm sure the waiter would've made an excuse to not remedy the situation. From all of my years in food service, if something is wrong, you make it right, end of story. By owning the error, you keep your integrity. Even a small gesture like 10% off one item, between the hours of 7:35pm- 7:45pm every third Monday, however inconsequential and trivial, makes people feel like you've made things right. These basics need to be addressed with FOH staff. With food cost nearing the price of rent each month in Seattle, customers should feel empowered to speak their mind respectfully. My only reason for going into excruciating detail is the hope that this can be a teaching moment, and more people can eradicate passivity. Passivity is a threat to community, culture, service, and so many other integral parts of our society. It's OK to disagree in public. It's OK to check someone. It's OK to tell your server "No, honestly, it wasn't that good, here's why..". When we deny the truth about our experiences for fear of disrupting the status quo, we withhold an essential part of building stronger, more diverse and resilient communities. "Goblin D, don't you think this is a bit too deep for a food review?" No, and if you've made it this far, the two stars are for the two chefs who made sure we got our cake.
